Uhm, I reviewed your PPV ages ago, mate, and really liked it. Do you think you could return the favour with my BTB? Otherwise it looks a little cheeky that you are criticising people for not reviewing your.

Thanks

SCSA’s Late Unforgiven Review

Opening Package: This was the kind of video package one would expect to see from Wrestlemania, not Unforgiven…in the words of Ron Simmons, DAMN! This was very well done, and nice to see you used quotes previously used in your BTB. Very nicely done, and I think it would have been good to post the banner after the package when it says Unforgiven in big dark red letters, but yeah great video package man!

JBL vs. Benoit: Wasting no time getting the first match up, and already I have one little thing I am iffy on. Whether or not superstars should be competing in two matches at one PPV. I mean sure it was a lot later on in the show, but you should have had the Benoit/JBL match and the Taker/Show match BEFORE the PPV. Anyways the match was great, with a well written style to it. The style of writing you have keeps it open to show momentum changes, and also the pinfalls were well incorporated. I know many people have the tendency to throw pinfalls in at random spots in the match, but you didn’t do this at all. Well written, and I liked giving Benoit the win via submission. I think The Undertaker will beat Big Show, then also go on to beat Benoit. He has just seemed so unstoppable lately. Very nice match, it was a bit short for an 11 minute match, but other than that nice work.

Grisham Interviews Orton: Holy man Orton was delivering some amazing lines here, he was in great character. I liked how he seemingly ignored and diverted his words from Grishams question, and went on talking about something different. It is very, Orton-esque, I liked that. Orton got some great heat here, in real life he has the potential to generate heat but is unable to do so. You write him so well that I think he is one of your best heels…nice work DDMac! Good length, and nice not giving Grisham any lines!

Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus: Alright this is set to be a great match, but I already feel Mickie is going to retain. Just a vibe you have given off constantly so I am going with James in this bout. One thing I like about your match, is you don’t constantly refer to them by their name every time. One line in this match was, “The beautiful blonde Canadian,” this is perfect! Keeps the match varied and more interesting. Now one thing I didn’t like, were the frequent pinfalls in the middle of the match. Their simply was not enough action in between pinfalls, although all the attempts were by Mickie so that is okay, because it kind of shows her psycho side. Constantly going for the pin, constantly on the attack, get what I am saying? So good work I guess. Then the match seemed to drag on, as if you were just writing to fill it in. Almost as if you began the strong attack, and the climax of the match too early on, because then you had to write more boring stuff just to make the match longer. Still a great match and I was right about the victor!

No Mercy Hype: Great hype for No Mercy, and personally I can’t wait for the Angle/Batista rematch!

Show vs. Taker: In my opinion this one should be a walk in the park for Taker. Not in real life, as Show is no easy opponent, but The Undertaker will win in my opinion, every…single…time. Now so far this match was written the best, you kept the pinfalls lower, and you wrote it with the great style of a brawler Undertaker, and a pure force Big Show. I loved the ending though, with Big Show being a complete idiot, and The Undertaker taking advantage with the last ride. Great match here, and going 3-0 Undertaker got the victory!

Rated R Army promo: Decent here, its only purpose was to build hype for their 6 pack challenge, and it did that quite well. Or wait, was that its only purpose? Could we see a disbanding of the Rated R army? Well it’ll be interesting to see if anything happens in Doane’s match, well written by the way!

Alfonso/RVD Promo: Another mini promo written by a guy in the 6 pack challenge, one right after another I am guessing the next match will be theirs. It’s good to get pops for RVD, as he usually comes across (no matter how he acts) as something of a heel. I guess Bill Alfonso has really helped develop his face character though, which I like as well. I don’t think either of these men will win though, I am still going for Carlito in this one!

6 Pack Challenge: Wow, this match was very well written. A ton of action in this one, and something I just gotta say. Usually with matches containing 4 or more people, the writers get out of hand and tend to write a very confusing match. You didn’t do this one bit, and you organized these 6 wrestlers in the match very nicely. You did the right thing with the order of elimination, oh and guess what? 4-0, LOL! Well this match was 21 minutes, you wrote enough to make it 30 I think. Still a great match-up here, and you gave the right person the victory. Also yep, looks as if the Rated R Army is done for, or maybe MNM will go their separate ways and the rest of the Army will stick together.

Bradshaw/Austin Promo: Damn well written segment by JBL, he was in great character, saying many of his signature lines. Austin was perfect to come interrupt this, and I liked what you did with the little first person view story from Austin. This makes for some great crowd interaction. Damn great segment with Austin looking for his middle finger! Although Austin shouldn’t have faked the kick earlier, that seemed a little out of place.

Orton vs. Flair
: Well here’s a match that has been hyped earlier, and I am damn ready to read it! My what a long match that was, so much to say…so here goes. The start of the match wasn’t very good, I would have liked to see something a little more aggressive than an elbow-collar tie-up. These men should have started with an all out brawl. But then the match really began to pick up, and I felt the intensity in it. Flair never had the advantage in the later stages of the match, which I thought he should have had. But I still thought giving Orton the victory was the right thing to do. Well written match yet again!

Umaga/Estrada ‘thing’: Wow, this was nicely written to give Umaga some great heat, but then with Foley coming out, getting his ass kicked; then Eugene and Hacksaw coming out and getting their asses kicked; then Haas comes out…gets his ass kicked. I’m not sure about all this, Umaga just went a little too over, and a powerbomb through a table? Not very much like Umaga but I sense a Hardcore match for the future! Decently written, definitely not the best part of the night.

Benoit vs. Taker: Taking so long to read so I just skimmed through, sorry man but I have some stuff to do. Anyways again a great match, one I predicted would happen. So let’s see if Taker wins this one aswell. After the crossface was locked in I thought it was over, I figured The Undertaker would have no choice but to tap, but he reaches the ropes. From here the match really lifted off, with great action from both men, and eventually the Tombstone by Taker for the win. Never knew it was called the darkness pin…how did you know that anyways? Oh, almost forgot. 5-0

Edge vs. Michaels: Well as much as I would like to see Edge win, Michaels will retain quite obviously, because The Undertaker won. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels is a stronger feud then Taker/Edge. Those are my reasons so let’s see how I do. I was surprised that McMahon called this one, for the most part, down the line. There were many times where he could have fast-counted to give Edge the victory, but he didn’t. Part of me thought throughout this whole match, that eventually Edge would win and I would go 5-1. But then Michaels began to come back, got himself fired up, but then got screwed by McMahon on the pin. Damnit! I am done for, Edge has to win! But wait, it’s Triple H! I kind of thought you should leave DX alone after you traded Triple H to Smackdown, so this was a kind of iffy thing to do. Not sure if it was for the better or worse. Obviously better because Shawn Michaels won and I went 6-0 (leaving out the match I forgot to predict). Great match, well written, nice stuff man! And I liked The Undertaker coming out and showing that he will face Michaels, should be a great match between those two.

Length – 10/10, great length…didn’t run it through Word but I am sure it is long enough.

Realism – 9/10, I didn’t think Triple H coming was realistic, nor did I think having Benoit/Taker wrestle in two matches was realistic.

Entertainment – 10/10, fun to read and fun to review. Nice stuff man!

Overall – 9.5/10 A damn good PPV DDMac!

Late Unforgiven Review:

Opening Video Great video package to start the show.

JBL vs. Chris Benoit Wow, a very well written match, enough near falls, a very enjoyable match too. Good to see Benoit win the match.

Randy Orton Interview Good job, getting Orton to the point that he is gonna win tonight against Ric Flair.

Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus Excellent match for divas, alot of near falls, i ahd no idea who the hell was gonna win.

Undertaker vs. Big Show Great match, not as many near falls, but still an awesome match, and Taker vs. Benoit will kick ass.

Edge and his Army Backstage I think the Army is gonna break up.

Rvd/Bill Alfonso Backstage Good little skit, RVD saying he's gonna smoke evrybody. That part about him rolling Maters and smoking him was funny.

Six Pack Challenge What a match! So much action, a bunch of near falls, you really did it with this one. Good job giving Carlito the belt, i guess Nitro is face now?

JBL in the ring Shwos JBL is pissed abput his loss, great to see SCSA back full time. Very funny with Austin's middle finger as his gift. I knew he was gonna stunner him.

Vince McMahon and Edge Backstage McMahon is the ref. Dammit.

Ric Flair vs. Randy Orton Great match, good to see Orton kill another legend. MOTN so far.

Jindrak/Reigns & McMahon Backstage Great match announced for RAW, a tag team Battle Royal.

Umaga vs. Mick Foley I dont know if this was supposed to be a match, but showing that Umaga is very dominant, attacking a whole bunch of superstars attacking him. A powerbomb through a table is always good.

Chris Benoit vs. The Undertaker Awesome match, I knew it would kick ass, Undertaker as the number one contender giving him another shot at the title is a great idea.

Edge vs. Shawn Michaels Wow what a match! MOTN, so much action, i can't believe that HBK retained! A Taker/HBK feud is gonna kick ass.

Overall What a show! Every match/promo was good, there wasn't much wrong with this PPV! You really did a great job on this!!
9.5/10

Thanks for the reviews for Unforgiven so far.

Here's how its going down. The next edition of RAW will be posted on January 15th (Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. I celebrate it, you bitches should too). That should give those who are going to give reviews enough time to get them in and me enough time to review what I owe.
