Nice couple of matches announced for tonight, which should build both the Batista/Angle and the Rey/Hardy feuds, and then good to see some continuity with HHH and Vince. Handicap match tonight sounds like good booking, even though HHH will prevail I guess

Good win for Lashley over Kennedy, and he gets a nice shot at the US title now, which is nice to see. Cena and Kennedy keep their feud going with Cena screwing Kennedy, although Cena isn’t normally the kind of guy to do a screwjob like that

Guess the full turn from Hardy hasn’t happened yet, but surely will do soon

Helms and Shelton are a strange pairing, but would put on some good matches. Looking forward to seeing them take on the Hooligans at No Mercy, as it should be a classic

HHH and the Rock are fighting a common enemy, but cant stand each other, which is good to see. One will eventually turn on the other I feel, but not for a while

Batista beats Rey, who put up a good fight but just couldn’t get the match won. Angle eventually makes the save, to keep him looking strong as the face, and the fact Hardy didn’t make the save tells us about his motives

Sabin vs. Daniels should be good when it happens, and liking the jealously angle that is happening

Booker screws HHH, giving his knights the win, but the Rock makes the save and kicks their ass. Rock looks good, building his match with Booker, but HHH isn’t going to like what happened here

HHH at Unforgiven? Sounds good, and seeing as DX is still together, makes perfect sense

Angle beats Hardy as one would expect, and then continues to beat on him afterwards, but Rey makes the save… but pays for it. Hardy is almost a full blown heel at the moment, but next week, I think the heel turn happens

*Good way to open the show with Vince and a cool main event is announced although I’ve got a feeling that HBK will make the save before it ends.

*Kennedy lost, that’s all I care about. Oh shit, Kennedy gets beats up by Cena. Best. Thread. Ever.

*It looks like Chavo will be the one to turn but maybe you’ll swerve me and turn Hardy (not Rey, he’s a shit heel).

*Good fast paced match with Helms and Kendrick. Kendrick and London seem to be on a losing streak as of late but I think that will change at the PPV.

*I think HHH will get Rock’s help whether he wants it or not.

*Good david vs. goliath match with Rey and Batista. Pretty obvious that Batista was going to win as he can’t look weak heading into such a big match. Rey gave it his all and looked good in the process though.

*I don’t get why the fans were chanting Hardy. I know his deal with Rey but Angle is Batista’s main rival, not Hardy. Anyway, good to see Angle make the save.

*Triple H tries his hardest but can’t overcome the odds as he shouldn’t as it would have made Finlay and Regal look weak. They still came off a bit weak as they needed Booker’s help as well but I don’t have too much of a problem with that.

*Rock makes a late save. Not sure if I like HHH even acknowledging Rock with the clap and the bow (especially the bow) as it seemed corny.

*Not a fan of Matt Hardy main eventing anything but at least he got destroyed. Hardy turns and that’s a nice little swerve. I’m confused as to who the face is with Angle and Batista as both men beat down Rey (who I assume is face). Maybe you can answer that for me.

Overall a pretty good show with some interesting matches. No Kane or Lashley, which shocked me as that’s for the secondary title. I’m confused about some of the storylines but that’s a problem when you come in in the middle of the game.

HBK just won the title, why would he drop is so early, so I expect HBK to win here in a controversial finish with help from HHH.

Intercontinental Championship
Six Pack Elimination Match
Johnny Nitro© vs. vs. Rob Van Dam vs. “The Phenomenal” Ken Doane
vs. “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters vs. Carlito vs. Joey Mercury

I think RVD is the best choice of em all, after reading it all and through out, Nitro could end out with the belt but I see RVD stealing it here.

Women’s Championship
Mickie James© vs. Trish Stratus

Your a Mickie mark, with that said she wins lol.

Winner Faces the Victor of Show/Taker for #1 Contendership
John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Chris Benoit

You have pushed JBL well, from SD to Raw and he's been lurking around doing some promos, and not a huge build for this match but this is here just to have a good match and put JBL over.

Winner Faces the Victor of JBL/Benoit for #1 Contendership
The Undertaker vs. The Big Show

Undertaker>Big Show, and I can't see Big Show vs JBL so it must be Undertaker.

#1 Contendership to the WWE Championship
Winner of JBL/Benoit vs. Winner of Taker/Show

This is a gues, I could see you give it to JBL, but I could also see you give it to Undertaker toss up in my mind will be interesting to see what happens.

Legend vs. Legend Killer
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair vs. “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton

You like Orton a lot, you put him over Cena and your continuing his push gradually through the ranks, Orton goes over Flair probably here.

The Samoan Bulldozer’s Challenge to the Hardcore Legend
Will Mick Foley accept the challenge of Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estrada? I hope not, but yes probably because you might not want to make some matchs to long for realistic value those other two matchs between Taker & Show, and Benoit & JBL so this will fill time and have Foley get squashed.

****************************************************

OOC: It looks to be a great show, I got tangled up in other shit earlier, and I never got the SD review done. I'll review Unforgiven, and I'll make sure to get it quickly. Looks to be a very good show bud, later bud...

Smackdown review

opening promo - Not sure if McMahon would have actually let batista off that easy, as it means more work for vince in the end. Some nice matches made for the competitors in the title hunt, and hopefully a bit more involvement from the challengers later on in the night. Didn't expect the game to come out, and nice brief confrontation between him and mcmahon here. not sure if finlay and regal were the best choice of opponents though, as the bad blood has brewed a bit too much between finlay and booker, and we all know whats going to happen now.

Kennedy/Lashley - Don't like the idea of mixing storylines like this, putting kennedy in a POSSIBLE title hunt when cena is ready to fight. Nice way to finish the match with cena's interference though, even if lashley should have been a bit more involved.

Rey promo - not bad, and fairly realistic too. not too much to say here, but i see rey or maybe even chavo turning on hardy eventually.

kendrix/helms - didn't really like the finish as 1. the heels got it cleanly and 2. it wasn't with a helms finisher. now helms is a better wrestler (IMO) than spanky, and with enough moves to be able to put spanky away, so don't think this was the best of matches.

HHH promo - interesting tact here, but great personality from hunter. you got his rage spot on, but the rock seemed a bit limp.

Batista/Rey - nice finish, very realistic. Good to see the momentum going both ways, and nice rebound attack from chavo. Suprised there was no action from hardy though, but rey will probably ask him why later.

sabin promo - nice little heel idea here from sabin, and even though bringin up the history is good, it means you'd be bringing attention to tna, which is a bit off key.

handicap match - I loved the fact that you had finlay get a clean pinfall over hunter, and maybe that will lead up to a push for the Irishman. The Rocks save was inevitable i think but Hunter's sarcasm wasn't needed. He just got beaten, then got beaten down, not the best way to save face. HHH could have just walked out of the ring and ignored rocky instead.

hardy promo - thought it was a pretty weak excuse by hardy, but it was nice to see rey stick up for him. The smirk at the end made it all worth while though, and thats why this promo had a purpose.

HHH promo - interesting promo. HHH at Unforgiven? not bad at all. Good all round promo.

main event - decent action, but batista really needed to get involved here. Shows rarely ever end with just the challnger watching tv in the back, and the matt turn will probably be made up for with "i didnt see you"

entertainment: 8.5/10
length: 8/10
grammer: 10/10
booking: 8.5/10
realism: 8/10
