From the opening commentary and overall lay out, I'm instantly impressed with this BTB. Very professional looking.
And hey, we're keeping up the impressiveness, as we get a new side of the Orton character. First time I've seen an Orton with a proper edge anywhere - including real life. Beats Snitsky, and makes him bleed. Nice showing of intensity, which makes Orton actually interesting, given his build up for the match with Cena.
Not keen on the members of the Rated R Army. Edge and Lita obviously lead, but Benjamin and Masters dont seem to fit imo, whilst Nitro and Melina are just an up and coming version of Edge and Lita. I like the idea of Edge leading a group, but maybe the members could've been an enforcer like Tomko, and an up and comer with no direction, like Kenny from the Spirit Squad. I am though, liking the build for this triple threat which has many possible scenarios, given what seems to be continuous hints at DX teasing a split.
Liking a push for Charlie Haas, especially getting over his deadly submission move. Should be a I.C Title shot coming for him soon at this rate.
Had to laugh at this promo. Just felt like it went in fast forward, with Trish bursting in, and making his demand right away, with Vince quickly answering back. Good swerve on the announcement, but I found it all a little funny.
Loved the Flair promo. Some classic Nature Boy lines in there, and a match with Foley at Summer Slam HAS to happen. How you'l go about it though is an interesting thought, as I cant see you going the same route at real life.
Loved the HBK promo. Truly in character. Nice tease on DX too, but I just dont see them ending at Summer Slam. I can see another month perhaps of build up, before a heel turn.
Ken Doane looks to be getting a push, which is good, as he has more going for him than the rest of the SS. Perhaps he could be a future addition of Edges army??
Orton bloodies Cena again, adding more fuel to their rivalry, which is heating up by the second. Doane comes out of it without really losing too, which helps his cause.
Mickie walks out on Trish, and the heels pick up the win, which should give Trish more incentive for a match with Mickie. Nice way to keep the feud brewing a while longer.
Liked DX having their own entrances here, continuing the whole 'split' teasing, and Shawn nearly walking out just puts the icing on the cake. Interesting way to close out the show too, with this DX split being done really perfectly.
Overall, you've definately shown enough for me in this one show that you've got what it takes to be a big name in the BTB forum. Your feuds show direction, your characters show promise, and your shows a re well balanced. The future looks bright for you here, and I'm going to be keeping track of events in this thread.
