Returning your review.

HBKicon Reviews RAW:

Ortonvs Snitsky: Nice match to open the show. No doubt Orton was the favorite heaidng into Summerslam.

Edge/McMahon Promo: Nice promo to build up the main event.

Haas vs Striker: I like Striker and this seemd just like a filler match. A Haas push maybe? I dont care for him much so oh well.

Trish/Vince Promo: It served its purpose but it was too short. try making the promos longer.

Flair promo: Nice man. I live Flair and that was a great promo. It seemed almost to real. Nice job with that. I( loved Flairs lkine about flying to Long Island by the way.

Doane vs Cena: Nice to see Doan doing something other then the squad. I like this Cena and Orton fued and that was a very predictable outcoem to that match. Try being more unpredictable.

Women's match: Nice job here. I like this Mickie/trish fued you seem to be starting. Hopefully it is as good as the real life one. Good luck.

Main Event: The match was pretty short for my liking and I didn't like how much you are hinting the DX breakup. Oh well. Maybe at Summerslam? Anyway, it was a decent main event.

Overall: 8/10. It served it's purpose to hype up Summerslam. Nice job man.

Raw Review

Orton vs Snitsky: Decent match to kick off the show, just a good way of putting Orton over before Summerslam. Nothing very special about this match, just a squash.

Edge Promo: Decent promo, thought Edge was in character. It could have ran longer, but it's still a good length for the type of promo that it was.

Hass vs Striker: Good match, liked the submission ending. Glad to see Haas used and actually winning.

Trish Promo: Once again, I feel this promo could have ran a lot longer. But whatever, a tag match should be pretty good.

Flair Promo: Absolutley loved this promo. Flair was very much in character and I look forward to a possible match between Flair and Foley.

DX Promo: Good promo, hyped up the triple threat match for Summerslam, and the match later on tonight. Good job with this promo ddmrko.

Doane vs Cena: Good match here, liked the action and a DQ finish was predictable but it adds to the feud. Orton attacking Cena here probably means he will lose at Summerslam.

Divas Tag Match: I predicted something like this would happen. Never the less, I see a match between Trish and Mickie being made for the Women's Title, so good build up match for that.

Main Event: Great main event, liked DX coming out on top here. The whole feud with Edge and DX is great, loving this and can' wait for SS.

Great show man, PM me when the next show is up.

WWE SmackDown! Preview

This Friday Night SmackDown! rolls into the Continental Airlines Arena of New Jersey. East Rutherford will be the sight of one of the biggest Main Events in SmackDown! history. At SummerSlam, World Champion Kurt Angle and #1 Contender Batista will square off in what is sure to be an epic clash but this Friday Night the two will team up to face the WWE Tag Team Champions, JBL and Mr. Kennedy. Will these two megastars be able to co-exist on the road to SummerSlam or will the tag champs defeat the two ultra popular superstars?

Also on SmackDown!, King Booker's court will be in action. The Undertaker will go one on one with Sir William Regal as Finlay defends his United States Championship against former champion, Bobby Lashley. Will The Court be successful this Friday night or will The Deadman and The Real Deal reign supreme?

Chris Benoit was put out of action for three months by Mark Henry and on this Friday night Benoit has his first match since he came back. "The Rabid Wolverine" eams up with Rey Mysterio to face the massive team of The Big Show and Mark Henry. Will Rey and Benoit defeat the massive team or will Show and Henry prove that size matters?

The #1 contendership for the Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line when relative newcomer Chris Sabin battles Super Crazy. Sabin was successful in his debut when he defeated the Cruiserweight Champion in a non-title match. Can Sabin earn a shot at the title or will the Insane Luchador get one more opportunity at the longest reigning Cruiserweight Champion in history?

All of this and more on the next SmackDown! 8/7 CT.

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

From the opening commentary and overall lay out, I'm instantly impressed with this BTB. Very professional looking.

And hey, we're keeping up the impressiveness, as we get a new side of the Orton character. First time I've seen an Orton with a proper edge anywhere - including real life. Beats Snitsky, and makes him bleed. Nice showing of intensity, which makes Orton actually interesting, given his build up for the match with Cena.

Not keen on the members of the Rated R Army. Edge and Lita obviously lead, but Benjamin and Masters dont seem to fit imo, whilst Nitro and Melina are just an up and coming version of Edge and Lita. I like the idea of Edge leading a group, but maybe the members could've been an enforcer like Tomko, and an up and comer with no direction, like Kenny from the Spirit Squad. I am though, liking the build for this triple threat which has many possible scenarios, given what seems to be continuous hints at DX teasing a split.

Liking a push for Charlie Haas, especially getting over his deadly submission move. Should be a I.C Title shot coming for him soon at this rate.

Had to laugh at this promo. Just felt like it went in fast forward, with Trish bursting in, and making his demand right away, with Vince quickly answering back. Good swerve on the announcement, but I found it all a little funny.

Loved the Flair promo. Some classic Nature Boy lines in there, and a match with Foley at Summer Slam HAS to happen. How you'l go about it though is an interesting thought, as I cant see you going the same route at real life.

Loved the HBK promo. Truly in character. Nice tease on DX too, but I just dont see them ending at Summer Slam. I can see another month perhaps of build up, before a heel turn.

Ken Doane looks to be getting a push, which is good, as he has more going for him than the rest of the SS. Perhaps he could be a future addition of Edges army?? Orton bloodies Cena again, adding more fuel to their rivalry, which is heating up by the second. Doane comes out of it without really losing too, which helps his cause.

Mickie walks out on Trish, and the heels pick up the win, which should give Trish more incentive for a match with Mickie. Nice way to keep the feud brewing a while longer.

Liked DX having their own entrances here, continuing the whole 'split' teasing, and Shawn nearly walking out just puts the icing on the cake. Interesting way to close out the show too, with this DX split being done really perfectly.

Overall, you've definately shown enough for me in this one show that you've got what it takes to be a big name in the BTB forum. Your feuds show direction, your characters show promise, and your shows a re well balanced. The future looks bright for you here, and I'm going to be keeping track of events in this thread.
