Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

WCW Rules' Review of ddmrko's RAW

Trish Stratus Vs Melina: Ah, you have my favorite WWE Diva (Melina) facing Trish Stratus. Though I'm not much of a fan of women's matches, lets see how you wrote it. This was a pretty fast match, both paced and written-wise. Anyway, a good contest for both women who are obviously good competitors in the ring. The match ends in No Contest after Mickie interferes. It doesn't make both women look weak, which I commend. This rivarly is just heating up, and I expect a Triple Threat somewhere down the road.

HHH/HBK Segment: Some hostilities are brewing between both men. Though we've all seen a couple of HHH/HBK rivalries over the years, I want to see what you bring to the table.

McMahon/Maria Segment: Short, but brilliant. McMahon was in character, and sweet Maria hit a stroke of genius as McMahon looks to come up with a plan involving ego.

Abyss Vs Eugene: Your usual squash match, however this involves Abyss as a menacing monster who took Kane out the week before. I hope to see a feud between these two, as it would truly be a Clash of The Monsters! Abyss decimated Eugene, and is looking strong.

Coach/Flair Segment: An interesting segment to say the least. A little revival for Flair as Cactus Jack will probably return. Flair sounded just like himself in this promo, so kudos to you for the effort. Looks like their rivalry is continuing.

Edge Promo: A Rated R Army? Quite a unique affiliation for Edge and the coherts. Edge comes out with the usual, bitching about how he and his army aren't the focus. I'm not much into Edge's Promos, so bare with me if I sound a little unenthusiastic about his Promos. He is just a little annoying to me.

Shelton Benjamin Vs RVD: A fast paced match to keep the momentum of the show going. Nice reversals and manuevers abound, this match was pretty back and forth. Van Dam wins to a pretty deserving victory. The aftermath was simply great, with both teams brawling. Flair coming out was ingenius, and it looks like Flair's past is haunting him yet again. Edge spears him to end a great aftermath. Good job.

Maria/Spirit Squad Promo: Decent. Kenny is gaining an individual identity, which is something we all need! Lol.. anyway, Ken Doane doesn't get much support from his comrades. I predict a schism within the group later on.

Orton Vs Haas: Both men put up a great match, and in the end, expectedly, Orton gains the victory with a beautiful RKO. I would like to see this match in real life sometime. I guess you're giving Orton an amount of spotlight as Cena isn't here tonight. Wait a minute, Cena is here! Orton cowardly escapes as Cena goes wild! Good announcement from Cena, a First Blood Match is just what we need to accomodate their skills!

HBK Vs Ken Doane: For a Main Event, it was a so-so match for me. It could've been much better, but for the time alotted, it was solid enough. The Spirit Squad cost Michaels the clean victory, and HHH comes out! HHH and HBK clean house, but McMahon comes out to a ravishing announcement for SS! Man, a Triple Threat involving both members of DX against the Leader of the Rated R Army! McMahon is trying to split them up, and it seems to be working!

Realism: A realistic enough show, with the match endings accomodating the realism. Good job here, no major mistakes. 9/10

Length: A very good length for a show like this. Didn't stray, didn't linger, and it was at a moderate pace. 8/10

Grammar: Few mistakes, and some sentences weren't structured right, but overall, no major detractions from the product. 8/10

Entertainment: The promos were very good, and the matches were well written. The show paced itself rather well, and the whole read came off as enjoyable to me. The Main Event was a little off a bit, however, it managed to tell a good story in the end. 8/10

Matches/Booking: You write the matches rather well, and the Booking was moderate. Some decisions were off, and some matches weren't used to their potential, but the show was still good. 8/10

Overall Score: There is a reason I voted you Most Improved Writer, as your shows are getting better and better as time goes on. Work on it, and they have the potential to become huge! This show was well written, and was entertaining. Looking forward to Smackdown. 8.5/10

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

Match 1: Nice match to start the show off as it has some rivalry building up and I hope it carries on tonight. Good see Mickie James come out and make this match worth reading. I think a 3 way feud for the Women’s title is very original and this could be a good match at the end.

I hate this segment and it makes me cringe, either Triple H will turn on HBK or HBK will turn on HHH. It is hurting me to read this as I do not want another HBK v HHH feud.

I like the obsession with DX here and maybe Shane will join them? I don’t know how this will pan out but maybe HBK will join Vince and Shane joins Triple H?

Abyss’ music is “Down in the Catacombs”, after reading what happened last week I see Kane coming back with his mask in a few weeks. Squash match as predicted and I hope that Kane will be out for a month, so we will see some Abyss squash matches for a few weeks.

RVD V Shelton could be great but w/ Edge a ringside I see interference. A lot of variations of moves in this match and a good length for a TV match too. I did not see RVD winning so that was good. But the R Rated Army attack after. You are really hyping up the Flair/Foley feud too.

Good see Haas was not completely squashed and he had some offence but it was obvious who was going to win this from the start. Good see Cena come out as Orton could have had a interview that would have been more entreating then a 6 min match.

The main event was great and I wonder if Ken is going to go to SD! As he is breaking apart from the SS. You gave him a good push and he did well as you had a very good main event.

The announcement shocked me. Just as I thought DX were back together Vince does. This pure brilliance. Great ending here.

Realism: Easily could have been a edition of RAW 10/10
Length: I have seen longer, but this was just a bit too short as I thought I would have been longer. 7/10
Grammar: Only a few errors. 8/10
Entertainment: Very entreating, the announcements were really good here. 9/10
Matches/Booking: The right people won and the variety of endings was cool too. 9/10

A return of the next RAW of mine would be apreciated (sp?)

GAB review

Opening video: Good video and nice way to start the PPV and video packages should start every PPV.

Super Crazy vs. Gregory Helms: Good match and nice way to kick off the pay-per-view. I think they you had to many false finishes and Helms and Crazy kicked out of each other's finishers too much. Crazy winning was good but then Long came out and reverase's the decision. I hate when GM's do this (unless it's a heel of course ). Gregory Helms ends up winning I was going for Crazy but Helms winning isn't bad.

Kennedy/JBL promo: Good promo here by both men and I can't wait for the Tag Title match next and I'm glad to see they mentioned the pitbulls.

JBL and Mr. Kennedy vs. Paul London and Brian Kendrick: Damn good match here and I was not dissapointed at all. Pitbulls interfering was expected but I liked it because I really thought Kennedy was about to hit the Kenton Bomb and retain. Sit-down powerbomb off the top was a great spot I thought and was really clever. Kennedy and JBL retain how I expected but the Pitbulls clean house after the match and this feud is looking good.

Matt Hardy vs. Big Show: Very good tables match here with alot of back and forth action. I didn't know who was going win in this one with both competiors getting in alot of offense. The ending was fantastic with the chokeslam off the ladder. Rey running out after the match was unexpected but I liked Mysterio saving Hardy.

King Booker promo: Good promo from King Booker and entertaining with being pretty much in character, good hype for the main event.

Bobby Lashley vs. Finlay: Good wrestling match here with the U.S. title up for grabs, the outcome of the match was a toss-up. I loved Lashley kicking out of the low blow and celtic cross. The chair shot to Little Bastard was awesome, the ending was expectable with Finlay screwing Lashley out of the title. Good match but mad Finaly cheated to beat Bobby Lashley.

Rey Mysterio promo: Pretty weak promo from Mysterio has always but extra hypr to the main event.

Great Khali vs. Undertaker: Even though this was Taker vs. Khali I expected more espically since they could use weapons. Real dissapointed that the match was so short and so bad.

Mark Henry promo: Pretty decent promo here from Mark Henry and I can't wait til the next match up, it might not be the best match but it will be intense.

Mark Henry vs. Batista: Decent match and prolly a better match then they would put on in real life. I loved the powerbomb to the ref and the ending was good. Glad to see Batista pick up the win.

Chris Beniot return: Good return for Beniot and I expected him to return and go after Henry, can't wait for this feud.

Kurt Angle promo: Good promo from Angle and he is still showing all of this intensity. I believe Angle will walk away with the title but you never know.

Kurt Angle vs. King Booker vs. Rey Mysterio: MOTN by far, alot of near falls and action. Bookend through the annocer's table was awesome, I thought Rey might do it with the 619 but Sharmell had to eject herself. Scissor kick to Rey was good and I thought Booker might win it there. Finlay and Regal coming back out was good, glad to see Lashley make the save. Big Show interfering was predictable but him taking out Rey was good and I'm liking foward to his fued. EMT's taking away Rey Mysterio was a little extreme from a chokeslam I think. Angle get's in the ankle on Booker and I really thought Rey was going run back out but it didn't happen and Angle retain's in a very good match.

Overall show: Your best show yet but sometimes you drug out matches too long. Every match was pretty good except for the buried alive match. 8.5/10

Kennedy.........KENNEDY! review RAW

Trish Stratus Vs Melina: Good match between two of the top divas. Liked the Mickie interference. Can't wait to read the triple threat match. SummerSlam maybe?

HHH/HBK Segment: Nice short segment betweem DX members to keep the tension going. I think Triple H will cost him the match.

McMahon/Maria Segment: Vince is obsessed with DX. I wonder what he has in mind.

Abyss Vs Eugene: Squash match to put over Abyss.

Coach/Flair Segment: Great promom from Flair you had him in character.

Edge Promo: Love The Rated R Army. Love the name and the members. Great promo from Edge.

Shelton Benjamin Vs RVD: Great match between Shelton and RVD. Great interference from the army. Great aftermath stuff with Foley and Flair afterwards.

Maria/Spirit Squad Promo: Glad you're about to split Doane away from the rest of the group.

Orton Vs Haas: Good match between Orton and Haas to put Orton over. Cena vs. Orton in a first blood match. Can't wait.

HBK Vs Ken Doane: Good main event. Great aftermath. And the RAW ME is set. I cant wait till SS.

Overall:9/10 Keep em coming

Re: WWE 2006 & Beyond by ddmrko

Raw Review

Decent match woth a diva's match featuring two decent wrestlers, Mickie James interferes ending the match as a no contest and i see a Triple Threat between the three in the future.

Wasn't all too keen on this promo overall, maybe a possible DX split in the future.

Nothing more then a squash match to push Abyss which is good to see as he can be a big star unlike Eugene. Good aftermath with Abyss hitting the Black Hole Slam on Duggan, making his character look strong at the moment.

Decent in character promo here by Flair, but could of been longer. Looks like you are carrying some feuds from the WWE with Vince/DX and Flair/Foley.

Interesting looking stable. Decent promo but again a bit short.

RVD gets the win over Shelton in what would be a great match. Great aftermath with a big brawl and then Flair cleanong house only for Foley to inturupt him with a video package and then Edge hits a spear. Nice bit of booking.

Kenny is gaining individual identity and could this mean that he will leave the Spirit Squad?

Big victory for Orton, but nice to see Haas getting squashed like he would in real life. Cena/Orton in a First Blood match should be great.

Good main event and HBK looks like he is going to win until the SS interfere. Nice aftermath with DX cleaning house. Great announcement made by Vince about DX being involved in a triple threat and it looks like Summerslam will be the place where they break up.

Overall it was a solid show. You look like a good writer. The booking is good but the promos need to be longer. 80/100
