The show is The Grand Daddy of ‘Em All, Starrcade! The setting… Pay Per View! WCW returns once again to Pay Per View this Sunday, with Starrcade! Join ‘The Voice of WCW’ Tony Schiavone and ‘The Professor’ Mike Tenay at ringside for all of the great WCW action! But first, here is a rundown of your WCW Starrcade card!

WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Jarrett © vs. Booker T
WCW North American Championship: Lance Storm © vs. Mike Awesome (Tables Match)
WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Shane Helms © vs. Super Crazy
WCW Tag Team Championship: Young Lions © vs. Natural Born Thrillers
Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash vs. Ric Flair (Winner Gets Guaranteed WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match; Loser Retires)
Scott Steiner vs. Sting
Billy Kidman vs. Rey Misterio Jr. (Last Man Standing Match)

Starrcade is, as said, the Grand Daddy of ‘Em All and that is why this Sunday, on pay per view, you can expect the unexpected! From moments such as Kevin Nash breaking the undefeated streak of Goldberg, Sting defeating Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, Ric Flair defeating Vader to regain the WCW World Heavyweight Title, Sting defeating ‘The Black Scorpion’ Ric Flair, and Ric Flair defeating Harley Race in a steel cage for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the very first Starrcade, anything can, and anything will, happen at Starrcade! World Championship Wrestling promises to deliver like only WCW can, and that is why Starrcade, and only Starrcade, is the pay per view where you can find the top wrestlers in the world, and the top action in the world! Ladies and gentleman, it is the pay per view that needs no introduction, it is Starrcade!

WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Jarrett © vs. Booker T

It is the match that will cap off the Grand Daddy of ‘Em All, and it is the match that cannot get anymore personal than it already is. Booker T and ‘The Chosen One’ Jeff Jarrett have a history between them, to say the least. The two men have been rivals with one another ever since 2000, and it was Jeff Jarrett who Booker T defeated to win his first ever WCW World Heavyweight Championship. However, it was Booker T who lost the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to Jeff Jarrett at Fall Brawl, in the War Games match. Booker T walked into the War Games match at Fall Brawl the Champion, but thanks to ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan turning on WCW and joining Jeff Jarrett and the New World Order, and Ric Flair being deemed incapacitated by the referee of the match, Jeff Jarrett was the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Booker T was never defeated by Jeff Jarrett, but the fact still remains, he lost his coveted WCW World Heavyweight Championship to The Chosen One.

Since then, Jeff Jarrett has been flying high as Champion, while Booker T had to work his way back into the Title scene. While Jarrett was defeating ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair and ‘Big Sexy’ Kevin Nash with help from his fellow nWo members, Booker T was scoring the upset of a lifetime by defeating the Immortal one himself, ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havoc, proving himself once again as a legitimate star in WCW. Booker then went on to Mayhem, where he defeated ‘The Bad Guy’ Scott Hall, ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner, and ‘The Man They Call’ Sting in the lethal Super Cage to earn himself the right to main event Starrcade and finally get his hands on Jeff Jarrett for a chance to regain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

If that history and bad blood between the two men wasn’t enough, their problems quickly escalated over the past month. Throughout that time, Booker T has put Jeff Jarrett through a table, Jeff Jarrett has put Booker T through a wooden desk, and Jarrett has publicly slandered and ridiculed Booker T. Jarrett and the nWo have dug deep into Booker T’s personal life, exploiting Booker T’s criminal record as a teenager, his recent divorce with his now former wife, and the wedged relationship with his son. Jarrett has personally attacked Booker T’s personal character, morals, and values, and has made ludicrous statements that refer Booker T to common trash, and the lowest of criminals.

However, when these two men step into the ring at Starrcade, there will be no public slandering, and no victory will come by defeating someone other than Booker T or Jeff Jarrett. It will be just Booker T and Jeff Jarrett in the ring, and there will be no running or hiding. Whichever man that can out wrestle the other, overcome all of the odds thrown at them, and go the distance will have earned the right to call themselves the WCW World Heavyweight Champion… or in Jeff Jarrett’s case, the nWo World Heavyweight Champion. Booker T promises to win the Championship at Starrcade not for World Championship Wrestling, but for himself, while Jeff Jarrett proclaims that his victory over Booker T will be one of the final nails in the coffin of WCW, and the complete take over will begin from there. The motives are vastly different, but nevertheless, with a war between World Championship Wrestling and the New World Order raging on, the winner of this match at Starrcade will hold all of the cards in the war for everything in the land of professional wrestling! It’s one heck of a personal battle on the surface, with everything up for grabs altogether!

WCW North American Championship: Lance Storm © vs. Mike Awesome (Tables Match)

‘The Career Killer’ Mike Awesome has been in the New World Order before the nWo’s master plan ever came to light. It was Mike Awesome who joined with Jeff Jarrett and ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner in the summer, and when WCW President, Eric Bischoff, revealed the master plan of the return of the New World Order, Mike Awesome was there. But at Starrcade, all of those memories, and that entire existence of being a part of the nWo could very well end for Mike Awesome. Mike Awesome will face arguably his toughest challenge ever in Lance Storm this Sunday, at Starrcade, but Awesome has been told the consequences if he once again fails to win the North American Championship against Storm: he will be exiled from the New World Order! After failing to capture the Title at Mayhem in a six-man tag team match, Mike Awesome will get one more chance to defeat his former friend and Team Canada stable mate, Lance Storm, at Starrcade, but this time, it will be in the match that Mike Awesome loves the most, a tables match!

Mike Awesome and Lance Storm go back to the days of Extreme Championship Wrestling, a defunct independent promotion that both men wrestled in together. The two studied each other extensively there, and wrestled against one another many times in ECW. When both came to WCW, they later joined together as Team Canada, but have now gone their separate ways from that Canadian faction. Mike Awesome joined the nWo, while Lance Storm dropped his negative attitude towards the USA, and has since become a leading fighter for World Championship Wrestling against the New World Order. Storm has taken the fans of professional wrestling by, well, storm, in the past few months, putting on top notch match after top notch match. Lance truly won over the WCW’s crowds, however, when he turned down an offer to join the New World Order, an offer heavily proposed and favored by Mike Awesome!

Since Storm’s rejection of the nWo, he and Awesome have butted heads several times, and now, they will face off one more time for Storm’s coveted North American Championship! Lance Storm has defend his North American Title in “American Brawls”, six-man tag matches, and ladder matches, but will he be able to retain his Title in one more style of match, especially against a pioneer of the match like Awesome? It will most certainly be Lance Storm’s toughest challenge to date, but as Mike Awesome, and the entire world of professional wrestling, knows that Storm is one of the toughest competitor’s around, and will not go down without a fight! Expect a war for the ages in this match, folks!

WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Shane Helms © vs. Super Crazy

The WCW Cruiserweight Champion, ‘Sugar’ Shane Helms, was once a loved man in WCW. He was respected by analysts, envied by men, and adored by women. But over the past few months, the now 9-month Cruiserweight Champion has let success go to his head, and has developed an arrogant side. However, he has also developed a vicious mean streak too! And if anyone knows about Shane Helms’ mean side, it would be his opponent for Starrcade, ‘The Insane Luchadore’ Super Crazy! Shane Helms has given Super Crazy two concussions within the past two months, the first being last month at Mayhem, and the second being just last Wednesday on Nitro, both with the helping hand of a steel chair.

Ever since Super Crazy debuted in WCW in September, his career has been intertwined with Shane Helms. Crazy defeated Helms in his debut match, lost to Helms in a Cruiserweight Title match at Fall Brawl, wrestled with Helms in a tag team match at Halloween Havoc, and then lost a triple threat match at Mayhem for Shane Helms’ WCW Cruiserweight Title. However, throughout that entire experience, Super Crazy was looking for one thing, and one thing only from Shane Helms, friendship. Shane Helms vehemently refused to be Super Crazy’s friend, and finally drilled that into Crazy’s mind at Mayhem when he viciously assaulted him with a steel chair after their match, the result being that concussion. Super Crazy now has vengeance on his mind as he heads into Starrcade, and will be looking to finally defeat Shane Helms when it matters the most, when the Cruiserweight Title is on the line! However, The Insane Luchadore could very well be at a disadvantage coming into the match at Starrcade. After suffering a second concussion at the hands of Shane Helms, Super Crazy’s immediate status is not fully known. Super Crazy has stated that no matter what, he is ready to go for Starrcade, but it remains to be seen if his head injuries will hinder his performance at Starrcade. Nevertheless, Shane Helms has done his best to give himself a head start at Starrcade, and only time will tell if Helms’ cheap tactics will pay off with a victory for the long standing Cruiserweight Champion!

WCW Tag Team Championship: Young Lions © vs. Natural Born Thrillers

The Young Lions, Chuck Palumbo and Sean O’Haire, know what being a Natural Born Thriller is all about. How do they know this? Well, because they were Natural Born Thrillers. Mark Jindrak, Sean O’Haire, Chuck Palumbo, Mike Sanders, and Johnny Stamboli all trained together in World Championship Wrestling’s training facility, The Power Plant, and were best friends throughout that time, and when they first hit the main circuit of WCW. The Power Plant graduates donned the name The Natural Born Thrillers when they arrived in WCW, and they certainly lived up to that name! However, if any two men lived up to that name more than the rest, it was the WCW Tag Team Champions, the Young Lions, Palumbo and O’Haire!

Of the two tag teams that wrestled as a part of the Natural Born Thrillers, Chuck Palumbo and Sean O’Haire were labeled the “power houses” of their respective teams. Both found success and were WCW Tag Team Champions in their old teams, but when they then broke off from their partnerships and formed a new team, the two men reached success in the tag team division like never before. The Young Lions have been a force to be reckoned with! The two men are two-time Champions and have held those Belts for around 8 months in just this year alone! However, just as the success of Palumbo and O’Haire was starting, the Natural Born Thrillers crumbled as a unit, and men like Sanders, Jindrak, and Stamboli were not seen again until November.

But in November, at the Mayhem PPV, the three men reunited as the Natural Born Thrillers, and immediately set their sights on their former friends and partners, citing revenge for the Young Lions “betraying” the Natural Born Thrillers. Mike Sanders has promised a victory for Mark Jindrak and Johnny Stamboli at Starrcade, and believes that Jindrak and Stamboli, not Palumbo and O’Haire, were the real talent of the NBT; Palumbo and O’Haire just got the publicity. That view could be argued by both sides intensely, but words will not settle that debate. Wrestling, however, will! The battle between these two sides is just beginning, but at Starrcade, we will learn just which half of the Natural Born Thrillers was, and is, the best!

Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash vs. Ric Flair (Winner Gets Guaranteed WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match; Loser Retires)

It’s not a shocker to hear someone say that ‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan, ‘Big Sexy’ Kevin Nash, and of course, ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair are three men who have changed professional wrestling more than anyone. Ric Flair is an icon in this sport, and has been a superstar in the National Wrestling Alliance and World Championship Wrestling. Flair is a 14-time World Heavyweight Champion, and has overcome the odds time and time again to show that he is truly, the man. Kevin Nash is famous (or according to some, infamous) for his part of starting the New World Order, a faction that he is now wrestling against in WCW, and a faction headed by Hulk Hogan! But nevertheless, Kevin Nash and ‘The Bad Guy’ Scott Hall are the two founding fathers of the New World Order, and it was The Outsiders who changed the state of World Championship Wrestling forever back in 1996. Hulk Hogan is a 6-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and the Immortal legend of Hulk-A-Mania is arguably the greatest legend to ever embrace the sport of professional wrestling. The accomplishments and accolades of each man in this match, are astounding.

However, the history that runs between these men is astronomical. It was Ric Flair who played a pivotal role in bringing Hulk Hogan into World Championship Wrestling 1994, although the two men became instant rivals soon after, and Hulk Hogan actually retired Ric Flair over 7 years ago at Halloween Havoc in 1994. Ric Flair, obviously, weaseled his way back in WCW later on, and has been an icon like only Flair can be since. However, Hulk-A-Mania was later slain by Hulk Hogan at the Bash at the Beach in 1996 when Hogan shocked the world by turning against WCW and helping to form the New World Order… alongside Kevin Nash. Kevin Nash (and Scott Hall) turned Hulk Hogan into the black and white “Hollywood” that we now know today, and formed an alliance that almost destroyed WCW. However, the alliance between the two men crumbled, and Kevin Nash later on broke off from Hogan and the New World Order, forming his own Wolfpack version of the nWo. Kevin Nash called out Hulk Hogan at every turn, and the war between the two was on. However, Ric Flair was a constant thorn in both men’s side, and the three had huge rivalries throughout the end of the 1990s.

Fast forward to today, and life remains the same for the three. Ric Flair has experienced problems with Hulk Hogan ever since Flair brought Hogan back into the company in September; Hogan turned on Flair and WCW at Fall Brawl when he joined the New World Order, betraying Flair’s trust and friendship. Hogan has proceeded to try and force Flair into retirement on several occasions, but has failed so far. Hogan, however, has done his job in successfully preventing Kevin Nash from getting what he has wanted the most since Nash returned to WCW in October, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Hulk Hogan cost Nash the Title back in November, and that is something Nash has not gotten over. Ric Flair and Kevin Nash have also butted heads several times since Kevin Nash came back to WCW, and Nash played a pivotal role in costing Ric Flair the World Heavyweight Title at Halloween Havoc! Since then, Hulk Hogan has played the role of instigator between Flair and Nash, getting Eric Bischoff to book the two men in matches against each other, while also igniting fights between them both. Hogan took out both Ric Flair and Kevin Nash just last Wednesday on Nitro, and in a great insult to both, declared himself, the referee, the winner of the match between Flair and Nash! However, revenge came later as the two men worked together to put Hogan through the announcer’s table via a Kevin Nash Jack Knife Power Bomb! Although, it was Kevin Nash who walked away the sole winner, as he also Jack Knifed Ric Flair then too.

No matter what, these three men just cannot get along, and now at Starrcade, one of them is going to have to leave World Championship Wrestling forever! The man who either is pinned or submits in this epic triple threat match at Starrcade will be forced into retirement! The contract has been signed and sealed, and only the executive order of a WCW President could attempt to nullify said contract, but even then, it is near impossible due to the WCW board of directors. However, while one man will walk away with his career and legacy ended, another will walk away with a reward like no other, a guaranteed WCW World Heavyweight Championship match at any point of the winner’s choosing within the next year! Everything is on the line at Starrcade for Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Ric Flair, but who will walk out with what? That, is the epic question for this epic and legendary match…

Scott Steiner vs. Sting

‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner and ‘The Man They Call’ Sting have two completely different motives and desires in life. Scott Steiner strives to win the back the WCW World Heavyweight Championship he lost back on March 26, 2001, and will stop at nothing until he does so. Sting, however, wants one thing and only one thing, and that is to kill the faction that changed his life forever, and the faction that made his life a living hell for years, the New World Order. Sting no longer cares about the “materialistic possession” of a World Championship, but nevertheless, both men found themselves competing last month at Mayhem in the Super Cage match, where the winner would move on to Starrcade to wrestle Jeff Jarrett for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Scott Steiner came into the match ready to pull out all the stops to come away with the victory, and Steiner was mere inches away from doing so, but the Stinger prevented Scott Steiner from winning the Super Cage, slamming Scott Steiner off the top of the Super Cage, through the roof of the second cage, and through a table in that second cage with arguably the biggest power bomb in the history of professional wrestling. And in that power bomb, everything Scott Steiner fought for, became null and void, at least for now.

In the weeks that followed, Sting was missing in action from WCW, while Scott Steiner returned to action with a vengeance, calling out Sting on several occasions. Steiner finally got Sting, but only after Sting made Steiner’s night a living hell on an edition of Wednesday Nitro, playing continuous mind games with Big Poppa Pump. However, after all of the trashing talking was said and done, the challenge was on, and the match was laid out… Scott Steiner and Sting would throw it down at Starrcade!

For Scott Steiner, this is a match to redeem himself and to prove to himself and WCW that he is still a top competitor in WCW. By defeating Sting, Scott Steiner will extract the revenge he has been seeking ever since “The Power Bomb”, as it has been called at times. For Sting, this is a match that he feels must be wrestled, or Steiner will never be able to move away from his anger with Sting. By having this match, Steiner can move onto his desires, and Sting can therefore continue his crusade to take out the New World Order. No matter what, this is a match that will feature lots of heavy hitting and hard action, and neither of these men can afford a loss! Starrcade could very well be the turning point in the career of one of these men, and for it to be a positive turn, they will need to walk out of Starrcade a victor!

Billy Kidman vs. Rey Misterio Jr. (Last Man Standing Match)

Billy Kidman and Rey Misterio Jr. were best friends, amigos. In fact, they were so close, they were pretty much brothers. However, at the Souled Out PPV in August, all of that changed with one act of betrayal. In May, at Slamboree, Rey Misterio Jr. was put on the shelf after a vicious assault from KroniK, and Rey was not seen again until he returned in August. When he did return, in a match against KroniK and Misterio’s running buddies, the Filthy Animals, Billy Kidman and Konnan, it seemed like Misterio was coming to guide the Animals to victory and extract revenge on his attackers. However, Misterio shocked the world when he turned on the Filthy Animals, assaulting Konnan, and mainly, Kidman. Ever since then, the war between the two cruiserweights has been on.

Kidman and Misterio have wrestled in two high profile singles matches. At Fall Brawl, Billy Kidman defeated Misterio by count out after Rey purposely left the ring and the match. At Halloween Havoc, in a ‘no count-out’ match, Billy Kidman defeated Rey Misterio by disqualification after Misterio purposely got himself disqualified. After both of these incidents, Misterio claimed that he did not purposely lose, and he has also vehemently stated multiple times that he is a victim in this battle against Kidman and the Filthy Animals. Misterio believes that Kidman and Konnan turned their backs on Misterio when he was injured, and that they never visited him while he was suffering in the hospital. While the vast majority refuses to believe Misterio’s asinine claims, one man has sided with Rey Misterio in this debacle, and that is lifelong friend, Chavo Guerrero Jr. Chavo joined up with Rey Misterio Jr. shortly after Halloween Havoc, and Guerrero proudly supports Misterio in whatever Rey done. Chavo has also been instrumental to Misterio’s guerrilla warfare style attacks on Kidman and the Animals, serving as Rey’s get-away driver multiple times. However, this Sunday at Starrcade, Chavo Guerrero and Konnan have been instructed by their friends to stay in the back while Billy Kidman and Rey Misterio Jr. settle the score, once and for all!

Throughout this long running war, Rey Misterio Jr. has made claims of Billy Kidman being a bad person, and that Rey Misterio was not a terrible man for doing what he did at Souled Out. The debate over who was a good person and who wasn’t was a frequent issue between the two, but at Starrcade, Billy Kidman doesn’t want to know who is a good or bad person, but simply, who is the better man! And according to Kidman, the only way to find out is by seeing who can be the last man standing between the two! Billy Kidman and Rey Misterio will finally see just who is the better man and the better wrestler at Starrcade, and just who the last man standing will be! This is the war to settle the score, and at Starrcade, the victor will be known. From there, it is unknown what will happen next, although Billy Kidman hopes for a reunion between the two former brothers. But Starrcade is only about the battle, and simply, the last man standing.

Woot~! There's all of that beefy goodness for you guys. As of right now, 4 out of 7 of the matches are finished, and from where I am standing, my goal is to get Starrcade up by the end of February. I do not know if that will happen, but I am aiming for it too. 3 matches and all the promos... we'll see. It all depends on how uni is, how much time I take to write, and my motivation. I do hope to have it up by the end of February, and hope that I can leave the readers satisfied.

And of course, as always, big ups to Crazian for supplying the kick butt banners.

Now get predictin'~!

Sure, I’ll go first. Preview was supremely solid, and did a good job explaining it all. You've got Steiner vs. Sting listed as Steiner vs. Steiner btw.

WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match– Match # 7
Singles Match
Jeff Jarrett © vs. Booker T
However many time … however many time … however many time … WCW Champion! Now can you dig that? Sucka. Don’t hate the playa, hate the Chosen One.

WCW North American Championship Match – Match # 5
Tables Match
Lance Storm © vs. Mike Awesome
Two titles dropping, and two retaining. Storm retains, despite the fact that Awesome should obviously dominate him in a tables match.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship Match - Match # 1
Singles Match
Shane Helms © vs. Super Crazy
Picking a new champion for this one. Helms left Crazy laying on Nitro, so I’ll go with that line of thought. Should be a great match up.

WCW Tag Team Championship – Match # 2
Tag Team Match
Young Lions © vs. Natural Born Thrillers
I like the champions better overall, so I will go with them here.

Winner Gets Guaranteed WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match; Loser Retires
Triple Threat Match – Match # 6
Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash vs. Ric Flair
Nash retires. Flair & Hogan double pin. Flair has the figure four locked in, and Hogan hits the leg drop, covering Nash, whilst Flair also has him pinned with the figure four. Controversy … YAY!

Grudge Match – Match # 4
Singles Match
Scott Steiner vs. Sting
I’m either way with this one tbh. But you seem to be a major mark for Big Poppa Pump, and so, I’ll go with Booty Daddy.

Grudge Match – Match # 3
Last Man Standing Match
Billy Kidman vs. Rey Misterio Jr.
Possible MOTN here for sure. Gotta go with Kidman, since he appears the underdog.

Show Questions:

Who will be forced to retire in the Triple Threat Match?
Nash is gone … for now.

What match will last the longest amount of time?
WCW Title I should hope. Followed closely or edged out by LMS.

What match will last the shortest amount of time?
CW Title Match.

Will Starrcade see anyone debut/return to WCW? If yes, who? God I hope. Macho Man? Scott Hall? Piper? Possibilities are endless imo.

Who will take the fall in the Tag Team Championship Match?
Stamboli pinned by Palumbo

How many matches will have interference play a role in the ending?
I fear far too many. I’ll say three, hoping for a slow night.

Good luck with it sir.

Who will be forced to retire in the Triple Threat Match? Nash
What match will last the longest amount of time? Jarrett v Booker
What match will last the shortest amount of time? Tag Titles
Will Starrcade see anyone debut/return to WCW? Um. Yes. Not sure who. I'm gonna take a stab and say RVD or Rhino or someone like that. Surprise me, bitch.
…If yes, who?

How many matches will have interference play a role in the ending? 2, please no more than 2

WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match #7
Singles Match
Jeff Jarrett © vs. Booker T
The way Booker has been build over the last couple of weeks, it just can't go any other way than for Booker to win the gold.

WCW North American Championship Match #3
Tables Match
Lance Storm © vs. Mike Awesome
Lance Storm has been put through a table by Awesome, it's time to return the favor.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship Match #1
Singles Match
Shane Helms © vs. Super Crazy
Super Crazy has returned in a strong way, but putting the belt on him is a big no-no. Helms to retain.

WCW Tag Team Championship #2
Tag Team Match
Young Lions © vs. Natural Born Thrillers
Don't really care for this match. I say the champs retain.

Winner Gets Guaranteed WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match; Loser Retires #6
Triple Threat Match
Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash vs. Ric Flair
nWo will be on the losing side for the entire night, including this match. Flair won't retire just yet, in fact, he'll win the match.

Grudge Match #4
Singles Match
Scott Steiner vs. Sting
For the greater cause. Sting will win for WCW.

Grudge Match #5
Last Man Standing Match
Billy Kidman vs. Rey Misterio Jr.

Misterio has just got a far greater future ahead of him than Kidman does. He has to walk out the winner.

Show Questions:

Who will be forced to retire in the Triple Threat Match? Kevin Nash
What match will last the longest amount of time? WCW World Title match
What match will last the shortest amount of time? Tag Team Title match
Will Starrcade see anyone debut/return to WCW? Don't got a clue. I say no
…If yes, who? /
Who will take the fall in the Tag Team Championship Match? Stamboli
How many matches will have interference play a role in the ending? I say 2

Default Re: WCW 2001- The Trio Ownership

Steiner.Sting should Main Event imo

WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match– Match # 7
Singles Match
Jeff Jarrett © vs. Booker T
It sucks. Jarrett > Booker. The Chosen One > All. But he's going down

WCW North American Championship Match – Match # 5
Tables Match
Lance Storm © vs. Mike Awesome
Ol' Lance got whooped on Nitro, so he's retaining here. Not a good night for the nWo.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship Match - Match # 1
Singles Match
Shane Helms © vs. Super Crazy
Once again, it sucks, but after everything that Sugar has done to Crazy, the Mexican is winning

WCW Tag Team Championship – Match # 2
Tag Team Match
Young Lions © vs. Natural Born Thrillers
I haven't really been into this feud much, but the Champs should take it.

Winner Gets Guaranteed WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match; Loser Retires
Triple Threat Match – Match # 6
Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash vs. Ric Flair
Was it just me, or did NB's prediction for this match seem damn likely? Hmmm, well I can't make the same one can I ... Can I? Ah shit, it's going to be Hogan or Flair winning, that's for sure, with Big Sext retiring.

Grudge Match – Match # 4
Singles Match
Scott Steiner vs. Sting
The fact is, you know that if Big Poppa Pump doesn't win I'll be hunting you down and straight up murdering your ass

Grudge Match – Match # 3
Last Man Standing Match
Billy Kidman vs. Rey Misterio Jr.
Rey as a heel ends soon I hope. With a loss.

Show Questions:

Who will be forced to retire in the Triple Threat Match?
Big Daddy Cool.

What match will last the longest amount of time?
Probably Booker/Double J, although I think Strom/Awesome might come close.

What match will last the shortest amount of time?
Tag Team titles.

Will Starrcade see anyone debut/return to WCW? If yes, who? God I hope.
Knowing you {killjoy}, there probably won't be anyone. I'll say ... Savage.

Who will take the fall in the Tag Team Championship Match?
Stamboli will get pinned.

How many matches will have interference play a role in the ending?
This is WCW right? Many, many mathes with interference then. All of the nWo ones, so that's 3 already, and then possibly the LMS. I'll say 4.

Super duper card, Szumi. Should be a sweet show. But if the Big Bad Booty Daddy loses ... well ... you have been warned ...

Spanks for the predictions thus far, and for the record, I'll count the first person listed for the 'if anyone returns' question... and Legend, I am no killjoy

Also, for the future, no one post in all caps like willo did. That's just painful.
