Yeah, I figure I'd get warned for the triple post. Oh well.

If you don't like it, that's cool dude. I think you're a tad bit wrong however. Yeah, I use a simulator, but just for the booking segments. I'm writing the matches by myself, using my ideas for things. Same with the promos. I like using EWR as a platform becuase it stops me from over-booking a show in time length. I'm creating the storylines on my own, and I'm trying to take thigns an extra inch or two by adding backstage elemnts to the fed. Plus, I'm trying to be realistic. I've always liked to, even when I'm not using EWR. I'm a realist. If I think a wrestler's shit, I'll write him as it.

I don't see the need for you to try and compare me to Da Wolf Guy's BTb either, because I am nowhere near someone as good as he, nor am I trying to be. I'm just trying to have my fun.

I think you're a bit ignorant to how i use the simulator though. I simply use EWR for the booking segments, TV ratings, buy rate numbers, and the unpredicatble things like injuries. However, I'm writing the matches how I want to, the promos, everything. I'm taking things from different levels from EWR to produce a BTB. This isn't just me taking a "computer simulated program and just turn it into words".

I'm only using EWR still at WE because I post this at EWB, where you have to. Everyone else uses the free lance here, so I would confrom if I only posted it here.

But hey, if you want to have that opinion, alright. For the record, you have valid points I guess, but you are still wrong really. Me using EWR isn't me basically copying work from EWR and prasiing it as my own. It is, as *F-94* compared it to, GM Mode on Smackdown vs. RAW 06. I have the available slots to book things, and that's it. I can't make it any more clear than that.

If I've got many of my points wrong, then I apologise. From where I was looking, all I saw was you booking a federation entirely using a computer simulator which in my books, is just cheating.

I wasn't comparing you to Wolf Beast. I was just saying take a look at his WrestleMania 21 to see what people enjoy about BTB. You are no-where near that level yet matey.

I still stand by my statement that you are using EWR and just turning it into words and yeah you're right, that is my opinion.

And you can have that opinion. Do I think you were a tid bit ignorant? Hell yes. It's all me writing. I'm creating that matches out of my mind, I'm creating the promos, storylines, feud, etc. out of my mind. If you fail to realize that, so be it, then don't read. I can see where you're coming from by saying what you said, and I know I'm not the only one. Forever Delayed said he could too when I talked to him. But however, as he see, like others, that's just not the case.

But whatever, there's no need for me to continue. I'm just taking up space in the thread. Any reviews, feedback, or constructive criticsm from the readers would be appreciated. Thanks.

Default Re: WCW 2001- The Trio Ownership

I just skimmed threw it Szumi and it looked like a very good PPV, but I'll read it in full in the morning and give you a full reveiw...

Shane Helms vs. Chavo G. - I really like this match it was a soild way to start off the PPV... I was really pulling for Chavo, but Shane is good enough...

Chuck Palumbo & Sean O'Haire vs. Totally Buff - I found this to be the downfall of your PPV... I dont really like either team so thats probly why I didnt care for that match...

Alex Wright vs. Cal Anderson - I dont have a clue who Cal Anderson is but he seem to be a nice addtion on to your roster... Great match to bring him into the company with...

Filthy Animals vs. Kronik - This was match of the night in my opin... It was full of action and with a huge twist at the end with Rey Misterio returning and turning on the Filthy Animals... I really wanted the Filthy Animals to pull this off but with Rey returning and beating them up I cant wait to see were you take this storyline.

Hugh Morris vs. Lance Strom (Ladder Match) - Long match but seemed kinda plain for a ladder match... What a move Morris pulled off on the ladder, but glad to see Strom win as I cant stand Morris.

Booker T vs. Scott Steiner - I didnt really know who was going to win this match, but I though maybe that we would see Goldberg or some other big man screw Booker T out of the title. All right match for the title lacked something I cant point out thought...

Jeff Jarrett & Mike Awesome vs. Ric Flair & Sting - One of the best main-events I have read here on BTB sections in my opein... I really thought Bischoff would side with Flair and Sting and screw Awesome and Jarrett, but you added that elament of surpise and had Bischoff side with Jarrett and Awesome which I think is going to lead to an awesome storyline down to the line....

Overall: I think this was a top-noch PPV with the only down fall being the Totally Buff and Palumbo and O' Haire match... 9.5-10

The matches (if it was actually you who wrote them all fully) were all top notch and very good. It was pretty obvious though that Bischoff would turn with Jarrett and Awesome, I saw the bait and switch coming from miles away.

The promos on the other hand need to be worked on as they were very lackluster.

Rating - 7/10. Don't take it as some sort of 'vendetta' against you. A show needs the right amount of promos and matches. Your show was heavily weighted towards the matches aspect of BTB.

Default Re: WCW 2001- The Trio Ownership

Shane Helms © vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr-A great match kicking off the event and the crowd actually liked it! Some very good small spots in the match including the outside part of the match. I also liked the 3 finishes to end the match with the Nightmare on Helms Street and the tights school boy. I am glad Shane Helms won continuing his great reign as WCW Cruiserweight Champion!

Chuck Palumbo & Sean O’Haire vs. Totally Buff (w/Miss Elizabeth)-You did a very good job by making the match realistic to the ratings it got with the fans leaving for bathroom breaks maybe some just went to there car and left. A very decent match and no where higher than that.

Alex Wright vs. Cal Anderson (w/Arn Anderson)-A good match for Cal Walker Anderson to debut in getting a basic debut match in with most of it being a squash. Anderson Spinebusters ends the match nicely for his debut.

Filthy Animals (w/Tygress) vs. KroniK-A very entertaing match and I was glad it became a Hardcore match. I very good shock ending with Rey Mysterio Jr. returning and turning on the Filthy Animals. Now we will probably see Rey Mysterio vs Billy Kidman followed by Shane Helms vs Rey Mysterio.

Hugh Morris vs. Lance Storm-Very good ladder match with a few major spots and the last one being the biggest. I am glad Lance Strom wins as he is one of my favorite wrestlers and I can't wait to see where you take the North American Championship. I guess the people at home didn't like Tony Schiavone or just went to the bathroom because it should have averaged out to a 78%.

Dissension in the Ranks?-A good interview promo and I wouldn't be surprised if Arn and Cal screw Ric Flair. Good promo and now we move on the the World Heavyweight Championship.

Booker T © vs. Scott Steiner (w/Midajah)-I really liked this match and I like how it truly went a way I haven't seen championship matches go for a while with the heel dominating the champion for most of the match. A nice way to finish off the match with Booker T having to use 3 signature moves to put down Steiner for the 1,2,3!

Jeff Jarrett & Mike Awesome vs. Ric Flair & Sting (Eric Bischoff ®)-This match was very good. I enjoyed how it looked like Ric Flair and Sting were going to win as I am a Sting fan. I liked the ending with Eric Bischoff making a swerve heel turn taking out Ric Flair. Great ending to the show with the huge brawl that ends with the heels standing united.

Very good pay-per-view and I enjoyed a lot of it. Only thing I was against was the Rey Mestrio heel turn, but it will be easy to capalize on that with a great storyline.

-------
Nothing against you The Showstopper as I highly respect you. I just want to inform you that EWR only gives match reviews which are only a paragraph long so Szumi couldn't have gotten the matches from there.

Default Re: WCW 2001- The Trio Ownership

First off, thanks for the feedback kidman and Showstopper. I appreciate it.

-------------------------------------

Yes, Showstopper, I wrote the matches fully. The wrtie-ups from EWR are about one paragraph with choppy sentences, and move for move. EWR doesn't write 4+ page matches on Word.

There was a lack of promos because 7 out of the 8 booking segments were matches, leaving one slot for a promo. However, I am tired of my PPV's just being mostly matches, so for Fall Brawl (and other PPV's), I am going to just add in promo's and video's to the PPV's. Fuck EWR for the PPV's, I'm going to add in stuff.

As for the promo's being lackluster, yeah, they probably are. I can easily say I'm better at writing matches than promos, but over time, I hope to try and improve in that aspect. Hopefully within the next month of shows I can write some more decent promo's to advance some feuds.

-------------------------------------

I'm glad you liked the PPV. I put a good amount of work into it, and definitely found it to be better than Slamboree.

The cruiserweight's are a typical way to start off a WCW PPV, and when you put two great talents like Chavo and Helms together, you're going to get a great match. I tried my best to make that match a good all-around cruiserweight match.

Totally BUff/NBT was meant to be a good ole' fashioned WCW filler, and shit fest. 'Nuff said there.

Cal Anderson is the former CW Anderson. Cal is playing the newphew of Arn Anderson, although he has no real relation. He just looks like an Anderson, so he used the Anderson last name in the ring. In real-life, Cal/CW wrestled in ECW during it's dying days, having a great feud with Tommy Dreamer. He also was a main star in Major League Wrestling, an was a member of the Extreme Horseman. Cal wrestles like Arn; great brawler and mat worker.

I've recieved quite a bit of flack for turning Rey Misterio Jr. heel at EWB IV, but I like the idea. Misterio as a heel is something new, and with his mask back on, I think he could be taken as more of a threat and legitimate wrestler. He looked like a 2 year old without it. And KroniK are a great tag team, despite their skills. Plus, my tag division is weak, so they're getting a nice, healthy reign.

I was tempted to go all out with the ladder match, but decided I didn't want to kill the crowd heat for the next two matches. Plus, a great ladder match with Hugh Morris? Nope, not happening.

Goldberg and WCW are finished. He walked out of the company after they tried to push him back in the main event. He returned at Slamboree, but I lost the USA TV deal the next day. Now, no one walked out of the company when I lost the deal. I decided to play off of it though, and had Goldberg leave, as well as other "talent". I wasn't expecting much from this match. Steiner is terrible, but he can get over with the crowd at least. Booker needs a push to try and stay over as a legitimate champion. He never got that in WCW, so I am trying to help make him seem a bit ore legitimate.

I loved the main event. I had the tease turn between Arn and Flair; it was obvious someone was turning here. Hell, I even said it in the write-up! I thought with the tease turn, and Bischoff favoring the faces, it'd seem better when he turned. I loved the match though. With the turn, the crowd excitement for Sting, and the intensity going on in the match, it made for a great main event.

-------------------------------------

I was typing this as you replies, CGR. All I say is for the odd ratings for the show; it's an EWR glitch. For some shows, the averages are much lower than what they should be. Well, the overall rating is. It was like that for all the matches for Souled Out.

Nice to see that you took my comments as constructive criticism and am very happy to hear that you'll be working more on your promos.

As for the EWR/Matches thing, yeah I forgot you only get a paragraph or so but I thought that you could get a longer paragraph for PPV Matches. I guess I was wrong.

The rating I gave was a stern one, don't get me wrong it would have been much higher had you put as much into your promos as your matches.

Ah hell man, this is an internet forum; I'm not going to think you hold a grudge on me at all. All I'll say is the matches were hand/typed written by myself, and that's that.

And so this doesn't just take up space, here's a previe for Nitro. But hey, keep the reviews/feedback/criticsm coming, guys!

WCW Wednesday Nitro Preview- August 29, 2001

World Championship Wrestling will host its next edition of Wednesday Nitro on NBC this Wednesday night at 10 PM EST from The Pavilion, at Villanova University, in Villanova, Pennsylvania! Join “The Voice of WCW” Tony Schiavone and “The Professor” Mike Tenay for another action-packed hour of World Championship Wrestling action!

The fall out of Souled Out and the build up to Fall Brawl begins tonight! Sunday night at Souled Out, Eric Bischoff turned on Ric Flair and Sting in the tag team main event, helping Jeff Jarrett and Mike Awesome win the match. Afterwards, Jarrett, Awesome, and Scott Steiner all took part in taking out Arn Anderson, Booker T, Cal Anderson, Ric Flair, and Sting! Foul play was used, and Booker T was hit in the back of the head with a lead pipe! Due to the blow from the pipe, and injuries suffered in his WCW World Heavyweight Championship win over Scott Steiner at Souled Out, Booker T will not be in attendance tonight. Another man who isn’t scheduled to be at The Pavilion this Wednesday night is ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair! Flair suffered a knee injury in his match at Souled Out, and then a concussion after having a guitar broken over his head by Eric Bischoff! Flair is supposedly at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina, resting his injuries. However, when the future looks dark, one man has always been there for WCW, and that one man, is the man called Sting! This Wednesday night on Nitro, Sting will go one-on-one with ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner!

WCW President of Operations Eric Bischoff showed his true colors Sunday night when he broke a guitar over Ric Flair’s head, and aligned himself with Jeff Jarrett, Mike Awesome, and Scott Steiner. Eric Bischoff will be at The Pavilion this Wednesday night! Will The Bisch explain why he sided with Jarrett and his crew? Or will Bischoff just wreak mayhem throughout the WCW roster!? This is going to be an action-packed hour of Wednesday Nitro with Eric Bischoff in charge, so don’t miss a minute of it!

Eric Bischoff isn’t the only man to perform a nasty act at Souled Out; Rey Misterio Jr. did as well. After being sidelined since Slamboree due to severe head injuries, suffered at the hands of KroniK, Rey Misterio returned at Souled Out in the Tag Team Title match between the culprits, KroniK, and his friends, the Filthy Animals. Misterio attacked Brian Adams and Bryan Clarke with a steel chair, but then, attacked Konnan and Billy Kidman as well! Misterio hit Konnan over the head with a steel chair, and then gave Kidman a Frankensteiner, his old finishing maneuver, off of the top turnbuckle, before leaving the ring. Tonight, Billy Kidman will look to take out his frustration on Yang in a one-on-one match! But even more importantly, Gene Okerlund will interview Rey Misterio Jr., and find out why Misterio turn on the Filthy Animals last night!

Also, ‘The New Enforcer’ Cal Anderson takes on Disco Inferno! Plus appearances by Arn Anderson, Jeff Jarrett, Midajah, and Mike Awesome! Nitro promises to be an explosive hour of professional wrestling that you do not want to miss! Be sure to tune into NBC this Wednesday night at 10 PM EST to catch all the action!

Confirmed Matches:

Billy Kidman vs. Yang
Cal Anderson vs. Disco Inferno
Scott Steiner vs. Sting

Yeah I know you typed them out all by yourself. I think you mis-read my last post. At first I doubted it but then I found out you couldn't have copied it all from EPW. So yeah kudos for the match writing

-----

Nice preview. Sting vs. Steiner should be good. I see Jarrett and Awesome interfearing on behalf of Steiner.

Will be interesting to see who is next in line for the WCW Title too.

-----

Don't worry, I ain't got any grudges. After all as you said, this is the Internet.
