It's basically just running your own Fed. Think Vince McMahon's job, condensed into a Computer Program, that's the simplest way I can put it.

Yeah, EWR is basically a wreslting simulator where you run the company, nooking shows, feuds, etc.

Although I do use EWR, I use it as more or less a platform. It's good for real-life things like injuries, money losses, and many other things. However, if I want to add a few segments into the show I will. If I want to be creative with angles, I will. I add and change many things from EWR into my own aspect to create a better feeling.

I will go with some things though to be realistic. If a match has a low crowd reaction, like a cruiserweight match, I will go with it. It's the truth. The cruiserweights have always been not cared about by the crowd. Until they start to get over more, that's how it is. A crowd isn't going to be red hot for everything, so I like to play it that way. And Jushin, I agree it can make the fed look bad at times, but I'm just simply out to try and take a realistic approach while booking shows. I understand your complaint, but I'm not entirely sure if I will change anything.

I wouldn't necessarily call EWR a lazy man's BTB. In some cases, that is true. I did a regular freelance type fed before, and I did like it, but I like their to be some sort of platform. I like having somewhat of a structure to the booking before it even begins. Down the road I might do just a regular BTB, but I like running with what I have now.

Also, Jushin, was the SSP still called the 7 Year Itch in 2001? I thought Kidman only had it called the 7 Year Itch when he first debuted and was doing his thing as a part of the Flock. I thought once he joined the Animals he just started calling it the 7 Year Itch. Eh, who knows.

I would like to thank everyone for the feedback however, and taking the time to read the fed. All feedback is always appreciated by me, and yeah... just simply thank you.

So, EWR is something to help you around in your BTB shows, right?

Yes, sire. I use it as a platform to book the shows.

Well I think its a great idea and yours IMO has caught the most attetion for a fed that uses EWR.

I don't think everyone should at all. The regular, freelance, style of BTB is a great, and in my opinion, the greatest, way to start out writing feds. I did, but as I became more experienced, I wanted to change my style to the platform-based EWR. If I was only posting WCW 2001 here at WE, I'd do it free-lance, but it is also posted at EWB IV, which is an EWR requirement.

The only downside to your thread is the length of your shows. The bits inbetween are great; the meetings, showing us how the fed is doing compared to the others, yeah thats all great. Your shows don't cut it for me however. They're average at best. If you made each one of your shows consistantly at the length of 'Da Wolf Guy's Being The Booker' thread for example then you would be the #1 booker on these forums at this present time.

Your background is top notch. Your shows however are nowhere near that standard.

Sorry Szumi never knew you wrote your shows in the EWR format I’m not really familiar with it in BTB. If that’s how you like to write your shows, that’s cool. Like Showstopper said, just improve on the length and your shows will improve greatly.

Right now, I'm looking more toward being able to write a fed and keep it going. I had a fed going on for a while before, but then I stopped it. Ever since that, I could never do one fed for a while. This has been my longest running fed for a long time. Right now, I only have 6 segments to work with because of EWR, but I am going to expand my show to a 2-hour primetime Nitro after the Souled Out PPV. Slowly I am going to try and increase the length of TV matches, but idk, I don't have the desire to write full length matches for TV. When it comes to PPV, however, I will go full out. I think that is the best thing to do. A PPV should be full out, while a TV show is not. It seperates the two, and puts the PPV on a higher level. Speaking of PPV, Souled Out is still a ways to go it seems, but I only have 3 more shows. I plan on starting to bookt he next NItro (finally!) tonight, and go from there. Put I can guarantee this, the rest of 2001 will probably be a red-hot time for WCW!
