Default Re: Being the booker

I'm afraid to say that there wont be any shows next week. I'll be heading to my Aunt's wedding on Tuesday, and wont be back till Saturday most likely. Thanks for the replies as always. But saying as I'll be away next week, I'll post a little news section just to keep things going...

**PPV Change**
The WWE has made a decision regarding the schedule of Pay Per Views for the upcoming months, with a few slight adjustments. The updated list is now as follows...

June 12th 2005 - Raw Brand - Bad Blood - Philadephia, PA
July 3rd 2005 - Smackdown Brand - Great American Bash - Washington D.C
August 7th 2005 - Joint Production - SummerSlam - San Juan, Puerto Rico
September 4th 2005 - Raw vs Smackdown - Clash of the Champions - Los Angeles, CA
October 2nd 2005 - Joint Production - Nemesis - Louisville, Kentucky
November 6th 2005 - Joint Production - Survivor Series - Manchester, New Hampshire
December 4th 2005 - Raw Brand - Armageddon - Boston, Mass
December 18th 2005 - Smackdown Brand - Fully Loaded - Dallas, Texas
January 22nd 2006 - Joint Production - Royal Rumble - Madison Square Garden, NYC
NO FEBRUARY PPV - Moved back into December
March 26th 2006 - Joint Production - WrestleMania 22 - MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas
**Subject to change**

So as you can tell by that list, No Way Out has been removed, and replaced in December by Fully Loaded. Madison Square Garden will host the 2006 Royal Rumble, and as previously mentioned in recent weeks, Las Vegas is the home of WM 22.

To reply to the question on Bad Blood. I wont be writing in full, but in Bullet Point form, like I did the last Raw PPV, Backlash.

Also, incase anyone was wondering, for all lead up's to Joint PPV events, I will be writing out both shows, Raw and Smackdown in full for those weeks leading up, as well as full matches from both sides at the PPV too.

Just to cap off the post, unfortunately, no shows next week, but it'll be back to normal after that, hopefully...

But hey, if anyone else wants to reply to SD feel free yuh...

Sorry Wolfy that this is a small review, but I have been really busy with the tourney, and my show, and the playoffs and school... But I couldnt go without giving you a reply. I didnt even know you posted your show until now.

Always great to see some cruiseweight action. Glad to see that London is still going strong. Eddie/Torrie promo was cool, curious as to what Eddie is up to.. Nice little tag match, dont see it going anywhere though. Highlight Reel was tremendous! Jericho/Lesnar fued would be so great. Ahhh that sneaky Eddie, nice way to use your imagination there. Highlight Reel was tremendous! Jericho/Lesnar fued would be so great. Nice Goldberg interview.. I really wonder what he is going to move on to if he doesn't win tonight. Bret/JBL/Benoit promo was great and already building to a JBL/Benoit fued. Nicely done. Eddie getting the win, always great to see and I love how you had him win. Next week is going to be fantastic! Austin's return, the WWE title match, and oh so much more. Y2J wins, like I expected. Y2J/Rock will be fantastic but I see it getting spoiled by Lesnar. Could be wrong though.

Grade- 94/100.

Heres my review for last weeks Smackdown

Wow, this was a great show

Just kidding, Main Event was good but I see Lesnar screwing Jericho next week, speasking of next week I cant wait to see Stone Cold return. Paul London is a good cruiserweight champion and I hope he and Billy Kidman will have a series of matches because that would be a great feud. Who is gonna beat Eddie Guerrero? He's a dominant US champion but I think maybe Simon Dean will take it off him when he returns. The Tag Team Champions, AMW, again? I wish La Resistance was champs as AMW just lost them, JBL vs Benoit at the Bash, I see The Rock vs JBL at Summerslam or JBL vs Eddie for the US title, either way a JBL title run sometime looks cewrtain, Benoit will losae at the Bash which sucks as I thyink he needs to be pushed to the main event. What are your plans for Goldberg? I really dont know what your gonna do with him at the moment. Finally, Last but not least, Kurt Angle and Bret Hart, unlike everyone else I think you'll leave this match for Wrestlemania 22, its too good for Summerslam, well thats my review for this week

Just a quick announcement for anyone interested.

Well, I'm now back from the little shindig in Limerick, and it looks like a really hectic couple of weeks for me, the details of which I wont bore you with. I'm not sure what shows I missed while I was gone, but I'll try and catch up on as many as possible.

As for the next Smackdown, I'm cant promise that it'll be up this week, but watch this space anyways, just incase.

Same for me really, I've been run off my feet with exams and stuff and not really had the time to reply, I'll try my best to reply to the next one though I've been enjoying them. Jericho vs. Rock will be class

I am just starting to read shows and it seems since you won best booker I might as well start out with you. I can see why you won too, you had two great shows.

I will start with Raw.

I liked Dupree gaining the win by using the tights, shows his true personality.

The DX skit was funny and the members you have it in it are original. I can almost picture them causing trouble in the restraunt, it is something you could easily see on WWE TV and especially for some reason it reminded me of some of the out of the arena skits they used to do during the attitude era. Well done.

Now Eugene spitting the bannana at Carlito was classic. That was hysterical, a match between the two would definatly be interesting.

I was shocked by the Chyna and Shaniqua segment. It was highly unexpected especially how you were building the segment up to be the time where Shaniqua gets hers but I was surprised when you threw the heel turn twist in there for Chyna. Great booking.

The Triple Threat Match at Bad Blood will be awesome and a combination of those three stars should prove to be a hell of a match. I am personally pulling for Captain Charisma.

the improtu match was a nice addition. I always liked Booker and Goldy as a tag team and it is cool to see you have them paired up.

RVD vs Rhyno was nicely booked, having RVD win was a smart thing to do because RVD vs Rey will just be an insane match. Also the announcement of the casket match was another blockbuster announcement!! I can't wait for this pay per view I really love the matches.

Also nice special main event for England, I like the idea of Batista and Orton finding a partner for a tag match and whomevers team wins will decide who will pick the stipulation for their match. I can't wait not only to see who wins but also what stipulation is chosen. Also to heat things up it was cool how you had Orton screw over Batista in the main event costing him the match. Was a great way to end a great show.

Realism: Very much what you would expect out of a RAW, nothing overboard and everything seemed like it would be on TV.
10/10

Length: Was a good length, overall it wasn't long in the aspect of fully written out but it had the right amount of segments and matches. For what seemed like more of a recap of a Raw rather then normally fully written the length was fine.
9/10

Quality / Entertainment: It was entertaining, and reading it I enjoyed the Eugene and Carlito tidbit.
9/10

Spelling / Grammar: Unless I have reading problems I didn't pick up any noticable errors.
10/10

Matches / Booking: the whole show was well booked, from winners, to Chyna and Shaniqua, to the Orton costing Batista in the main event. A well booked show.
10/10

Now onto Smackdown which I enjoyed more being it was more fully written out.

This is the first shows of your I am reading, so I am in the middle of running storylines and from what I have picked up is Goldberg is playing a heel character which I like. It is something fresh, and his match he with Tazz at Judgement Day seemed like an interesting idea. When I get time I will be sure to skim back and look into it more.

The Crusierweight match was good and is always a wise choice for an opener. I can see a Chavo and London rematch coming up sometime down the road.

The Eddie/Torrie segment was interesting and it kept me thinking, later on though I caught on what was going on. Great stuff lol.

The Dudleyz vs Test and Steiner was a nice addition to the show and I liked the ending with the botched double team by Steiner and Test. I wonder if this will cause tension between the two or if it was just a one time occurance in this match.

My favorite segment, as I am sure was others, was The Highlight Reel. It was just awesome. You have Jericho down wonderfully! I loved the nicknames he gave for each of his opponents later in the night, but my favorite of them was Goldbore..great stuff. The punchlines against Brock's intelligence (or lack there of) made me chuckle. I think this was a great formula for a great feud with a brawl at the end of the segment. This is a feud we really didn't get to see and for some reason I really like that combination. Just awesome stuff.

I like the La Resistance and AMW feud, I am actually doing the same feud in my thread. Liked Conway getting the cheap low blow and hitting the northern lights for the win.

Now back to Torrie/Eddie/Regal. At first I was like what the hell with this segment but then I caught on when she reached into his trunks. Taking the knucks was great. Even though we didnt find out to till the match, I had my suspicions what was going on. Great idea. Then Lance Storm's line at the end of the segment made me laugh.

Like I said before I like how you are playing Goldberg off as a heel, picking on Maria is a good way for cheap heat. I wonder if his program with Tazz will continue or not?

JBL's promo was written so well I could picture him actually delivering it himself. Much props for writing that, it was great. You Benoit down too. Also good to see Bret Hart is included in your thread.

Great announcements for next weeks show. Cool to see the tag title match being made and the fourway match will be off the hook. I cant wait!

Finally a great main event and I loved Jericho going over in this one overcoming the odds. Jericho vs Rock for the title should be fantastic.

Fantastic Smackdown!! I can't wait for your next shows!!

Realism: Extremely realistic. Cruiserweight to open was realistic and just the flow of the show was right on.
10/10

Length: Great length, just as a Smackdown should be.
10/10

Quality / Entertainment: The Highlight Reel did it alone, very entertaining show. JBL's promo also upped the entertainment because I really enjoyed the realism of that. (also another reason realism got a 10/10)
10/10

Spelling / Grammar: Once again didn't notice anything...
10/10

Matches / Booking: Very well booked just like Raw was. No complaints in this department or any other for that matter.
10/10

Overall- Raw- 98/100
Smackdown- 100/100 (really enjoyed it)
