M-$kwared's RAW Analysis
...Lol, I said "Anal"

----------

The Cutting Edge! - Nice way to start off the show man. I kinda wish it would've been written out so I could get the full feel for it, but what you have is good enough. Michales gets the RKO, and before Cena can make the save, Rated RKo high-tails it. Typical from Edge and Orton, good way to keep them in character. Then, on top of that Vince make the huge tag team event! Excellent opener!

Booker vs. Carlito - I don't know much of these two in this particular thread, but this match gave me a good idea. The two battle it out, and the match ends up a no contest. Then, you announce the Summerslam match. Nice way to fill spots on SS, and more importantly, build up the feud between the two.

Hass Backstage - Oooooh mystery. Not much to it here, but in real-life...it would be a good way to build up some suspense for the match.

Hass & *** vs. Cade & Murdoch - Huge surprise here. Bringing back an old team between the two, or so I think they used to be a team. Anyways, on point here, I noticed that you put a little OOC stuff in there. Be careful of that, "storyline" is a word that you don't want to put in, even in recap form, because WWE is supposed to be "real". That one line took away from the realism, even in a recap...but putting Cade and Murdoch over was a good move anyways.

Grisham & Jericho Interview - Very nice character work with Jericho, however it could have been a tad better. On the good side...this was a great way to brin the match up, and once again raise the tension for the match ahead.

Cryme Tyme Promo - Nice work, again. Haha very original. The video expressed the characters of Cryme Tyme well, and stuck to reality at the same time. Good.

Hass & MNM - Not much to say here. MNM rubbing it in really helps to build up the characters of MNM, and build up the storyline of Hass's tag team woes.

Mickie vs. Melina - I'm not too big of a a fan of diva's matches in BTBs, but thats just me. A good end to it, having Victoria come out, and thats really all I can say.

Cena & Michaels vs. Rated RKO - Welp, it's time for the big match eh? Let me say: nice work. It didn't disappoint, as many built up matches do, but I'm glad yours didn't. Once again, a superstar interferes....this time in the for of Christian. GOod work here having Cena and Michaels prevail anyway.

Benjamin vs. Venis - Surprised that this match came after the tag match, but oh well. Good match here, with Benjamin picking up the win. Having Hardy come out at the end was a good way to semi-hype up the match at Summerslam.

Main Event - Incredible work! Very action packed, and I felt the Extremity of it, despite the recapped writing. Having Jericho win with the "cheap cover" was good, and having his refuse RVD's hand was even better.

||::Overall:|
Dude, I can't wait to see one of you future fully written shows, and this show pulled me in to want to see Summerslam. The only thing that bugged me was that the show has so much potential and was recapped, but even that didn't bother me much. So, all in all, your show was good and I'll give it a 8/10.

King Of Pain's Raw Feedback

~ Disappointed to see that it isn't in full, but I just have to remind myself that SummerSlam is just around the corner Good way to open the show with an old school Cutting Edge of sorts on Raw. This Team McMahon/Team HBK feud has really taken over the build up to SummerSlam in my eyes, even with my favourite wrestler Y2J being involved in the WWE title match. It was a good, high octane beginning in my opinion, with Edge doing what he does best, recapping things in slow motion and such, before getting his head kicked off my Michaels. It's wierd that this opening segment kind of reminded me of Raw earlier this year when Cena/Michaels was set for Wrestlemania, and they were feuding with Rated RKO. There were lots of run ins just like this, with first HBK getting the upper hand and then Orton nails him with an RKO, until Cena makes the save. The tag team match sounds excellent as well, worthy of a Main Event {but Jericho gets that}, but it will probably be filled with interference, as we have not yet heard from the likes of Triple H, Christian, Stone Cold or Flair.

~ Ah, Carlito and Booker T finally get a chance at one another after feuding for a while. No real surprise to see it end in a Double Countout, and it is quite nice to see this match now on the SummerSlam card. With all of the huge matches already lined up for SS, this has a very conservative feel to it, which is always a positive on a strong PPV. Both men are favourites of mine and deserve a spot on the card. As the young face, CCC will likely go over to continue his rise up the roster.

~ Lol. Oh man, Charlie Haas is really having a hard time of it lately isn't he? He tries it out with another partner in Big Vis, but the big man ends up going down to Cade and Murdoch. C & M needs to be in the World Tag team title contention if you ask me, but it looks as though Haas will be there soon enough. I'm very intrigued to find out who his new partner will be. More than likely it will be someone fresh to the roster.

~ Excellent to get an interview from my man Chris Jericho next, and I can definately see him gaining some revenge by beating Sabu at Extreme Rules tonight. Palumbo has effectively become his bodyguard, even though you told me he was just an 'ally'. This feud will give Palumbo a big rub regardless of whether or not Y2J gets the WWE title. I pray that he does

~ Some more hype for Cryme Tyme I see. Good idea for their video, even though I dislike their gimmick. Despite that, they are sorely needed on Raw right now for your tag team division, and the sooner they arrive the better. Odds are they will be thrown straight into a feud with MNM like Regal and Taylor were against Londrick on SD.

~ So with this little backstage confrontation between Charlie Haas and MNM, I can discern that Haas will indeed be feuding with these two for the tag titles soon enough. I really can't wait to see who he teams up with in the end.

~ Quick divas contest to get Mickie James some more momentum it seems. Melina has been billed as a bit more competetive in this division now, and it is likely that she will become a player soon enough, but this was more about furthering the feud between Mickie and Victoria. Nice attack by Vick afterwards, actually adding some brutality to the diva feud.

~ Everything seems to be running very smoothly so far in Team Showstopper, with thi sunity during their interview, before they actually pick up a really comprehensive victory over Rated RKO. I think soon some tension should start to appear between HBK, Cena, Austin and Flair to add a bit more excitement to the mix. As for what this result means, I think that it will be like this for a while leading up to SummerSlam, with Team Showstopper staying ahead of Team McMahon and getting the better of them; because I'm fairly certain that Edge, Orton, Cristian and Hunter will be going over at SS. They need it much more.

~ Nice backstage segment from McMahon and Austin. I expected a bit more attention on Hunter's presence, but it was barely touched on. I loved Vince throwing beer in Austin's face, but I'm even more excited by the announcement of Austin/Christian next week. I can't really see it getting a clean finish, as neither man should look weak heading into SummerSlam in my opinion.

~ Crikey, we're getting a lot of matches tonight aren't we? I was wondering where Shelton Benjamin and Jeff Hardy had disappeared to, so it's good to see them get on the card. Val gets squashed by Shelton, but the stare down between Benjamin and Hardy is very intriguing. I think we could finally see the end of Shelton's long Intercontinental title reign at SummerSlam, before the inevitable Ladder Match at a future PPV.

~ Sounded like one hell of a Main Event after a brief RVD/Sabu segment. I'm so glad that Jericho managed to regain some semblance of his momentum by picking up the win here tonight, especially in a brutal Extreme Rules match. He got a clean, arrogant win too, so it makes him look strong, just like he should heading into his first WWE Championship match in this thread. The handshake offer at the end was intriguing, but you chose well to have Y2J decline it, as he is working so well as a heel right now.

Overall this was a nicely recapped show, KOP. You have two VERY big feuds right now in the WWE title one and the Steel Cage showdown, as well as two more excellent ones in Shelton/Jeff and Carlito/Booker. One thing that I was disappointed by was the lack of Christian tonight, but other than that it worked well. SummerSlam is shaping up very nicely indeed

WWE.com News and Notes

The WWE has granted Daivari his release today. The WWE would like to wish Daivari the best in his future endeavors.

Raw is expected to undergo some drastic changes to the roster shortly after SummerSlam. One superstar has already said he is leaving from Raw, while Mr. McMahon is planning on taking a lesser role. McMahon has been on TV pretty much all year and feels now that Jonathan Coachman can "control" the show. Stone Cold and Sabu are most likely expected to leave too as they were just brought in for feuds right now. Expect some changes around Raw after SummerSlam, that's for sure.

WWE has already made plans for WrestleMania 23 and it's seeming as if it's going to be once again another huge event. WrestleMania 23 is going to be live on Sunday April 1, 2007 from Miami, Florida. Speaking of WrestleMania 23, the first WrestleMania video will debut at SummerSlam.

Charlie Haas's storyline is seeming to being well developed and fans are seeming to enjoy it. Expect it to take a major twist in the next few weeks.

Rumors are going around now that there is possibly another Raw superstar that is wanting his leave. It seems superstars are becoming disgruntled backstage with the fact that they are not recieving their pushes and some just want to leave. If this superstar was to leave with the other one that has been rumored for a will, expect something big to happen to clear the space up for these two.

There are talks of possibly a new name debuting in the WWE shortly after SummerSlam. Take this with a salt of grain as nothing has been confirmed. However, WWE has been clearing out their roster and released nearly 15 people over the course of the past few months so anything is possible.

Heat Results:

The Highlanders def. Local Jobbers
Beth Phoenix def. Maria
Chuck Palumbo def. Local Jobber

Velocity Results:

Steven Richards def. Nunzio
Hardcore Holly def. Chavo Guerrero
Shannon Moore def. Funaki

Since the show is in recap form, I'll just leave some comments on the show and the feuds/segments.

Despite being in recap, the Cutting Edge segment was great and was great in setting up the huge tag team match for the main event. I have a feeling that Michaels/Cena will get the win in the match in the Main Event. As far as the Booker/Carlito match, it looks like the feud will continue as the match ends in a no contest. Good point of letting the bookers know how long the feud has been going on between the two, without having to go back a few pages in the thread to find out. Interesting storyline with Hass. I wonder who and when the person who Hass was talking to will be revealed. Vis is Hass' partner for the match, but Hass can't get the win. Wonder who Charlie will choose for a partner for next week's show. Good video promo from Cryme Tyme. Can't wait until they arrived in this thread. The Jericho/Sabu Extreme Rules looks like it is going to be great. I won't comment on the MNM segment with Hass, but the Women's Match was really good. Nice to see Mickie pick up the win. As far as the attack from the champ, Victoria, it just furthers the feud between the two and the title. Decent promo from Michaels and Cena. Also, I'm surprised that this match isn't given the Main Event match. Great tag match as both teams wrestled great in this match. Michaels and Cena get the win like I had a feeling they would. Surprised that nothing took place with Austin and Hunter. However the match between Austin and Christian should be great, since it has been built for the past two months, (thread time). Shelton wins in a non title and I like that the match wasn't a squash match, but made both men look good in the match. As for the Main Event, this was great as Sabu and Jericho hit a lot of their spots. Nice way of getting Jericho over more as a heel, with the heel win, and then the heel actions of not shaking Van Dam's hand to end the show.

Overall Comments: The show was great man. There were some grammatical errors here and there, but for the most part the show was great and continuing the feuds for Summerslam. Looking forward to Smackdown!

As far as the WWE News and Notes goes, out of all threads, this thread has been getting rid of quite a bit of wrestlers lately. So I'm wondering since about fifteen has been released in this thread, who will be the new wrestlers to come into this thread.

RAW Review
Good to see The Cutting Edge returning back, and kicking off tonight’s show. The entire concept of this promo was good, and everyone looked fine to me. HBK’s Sweet Chin Music to Edge, and then saying “That!” was a priceless moment. Expected Orton to make the save, but not like this, so that’s good. Cena’s run in was also expected since he’s in HBK’s team. The tag team match announced definitely is huge, and I’ll be looking out for that one especially. Nice promo to kick off RAW.

Looked like an okayish match to kick off the action of RAW, but just didn’t like how the match ended in a No Contest, and then straight after it, you announce a match between Carlito and Booker T for SummerSlam. Just doesn’t look right to announce a match through the commentator for a big pay per view like SummerSlam. That just didn’t look right to me, but anyway, I’m expecting Carlito to beat Booker at SummerSlam.

Um, I’m excited to know who is going to be Charlie Haas’ partner. Let’s find out. Oops, Big Vis? Ugh. I know you’re trying to make your thread look realistic, but please don’t have Big Vis in any kind of a match. He bores me, and to be honest, the entire match bored me too. But the ending of this match was better. Glad to see Big Vis getting pinned. Lol. Looks to me that Charlie Haas will probably get another guy for him, but who could that be?

Good to see Palumbo being Jericho’s bodyguard. Makes Palumbo look credible too. Nice promo by Chris Jericho, but it would’ve been better. Where the catchphrases of Y2J? I needed that – it’s my dose of getting entertained. Lol. Looking forward to the main event by the way. Hopefully Y2J takes out Sabu.

Cryme Tyme is coming back to RAW. Good work, but I hope that you still bring in more teams, and make the tag team division better. Nice, funny promo too.

Okay, this confrontation here between Haas and MNM makes me believe 100% that Haas is gonna find some partner, and feud with MNM for the tag team titles. Hopefully Haas gets a better partner (who entertains) so that we could get a good and an exciting match between these two teams. Nice promo again.

Feel good to see Mickie getting some momentum here. Good win for her, and the aftermath was even better, with Victoria taking out Mickie in her own fashion – definitely added more fuel to the women’s title feud.

Didn’t really like this promo here between Cena and Shawn Michaels. Just looked too generic in my opinion. You need to build up this huge feud more, and in an exciting way. Excitement is lacking here. The unity however, as said by Legend, was good here though. Onto the match now, good way to finish off this match. It had just one interference and that was from Christian, but HBK took care of him. Good to see Cena and HBK getting the win and adding a lot of momentum to their team, but the opposite team now needs to bounce back.

Good promo here, but Triple H should’ve played some more part here in this promo though. Loved the concept of this match, and I’m interested about Christian versus Austin next week. The match was on Wolfy’s WM card, so let’s see how you handle this one. Not sure who’s gonna win though, but I just hope that the match ends in a no contest or in a DQ so that no one looks weak.

During the whole Charlie Haas part in the earlier part of the show, I was missing Shelton, and here I finally get him. Good booking decision by having him getting a win over Val Venis. The staredown was good, as it added some more hype to their match at SummerSlam. Nice match up, and nice aftermath, but the excitement factor is still not present.

Good to see Y2J beating Sabu in a heel way here. The match between RVD and Y2J at SS for the WWE title would surely be amazing, but you need to hype their feud more through the promos too. That’s the main problem in most of your feuds. You manage to get good matches, but only matches won’t be good. Excitement factor is still lacking – I’ve said it, and I’m saying it again. You need to throw in more exciting promos for your feuds too to get it real build up.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Preview
Friday August 11, 2006

Main Event Announced

Announced earlier this week on WWE.com, Smackdown GM Teddy Long has booked a Triple Threat Tag Match for this Friday. The match will see the World-Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle teaming with former United States Champion, Bobby Lashley against JBL and Finlay against Mark Henry and the Animal, Batista! Angle makes his return this week on Smackdown as he was off last week after Henry took Angle out two weeks ago in the Street Fight.

Big Red Impact?

Last week, everybody was surprised on Smackdown whenever Kane made his way down to the ring! Kane fought a good match but however JBL got himself disqualified at the end of the match knowing he was in trouble against the Big Red Machine. This week, Kane finds himself once again in one on one action. Can the Big Red Machine rebound off last week's DQ win over JBL on his Smackdown debut?

Last Ride for Batista?

Could these be the last few weeks Batista will spend on Smackdown for a while? It will be if the Undertaker has anything to say about it at SummerSlam. Last week Teddy Long announced that there will be a Last Ride Match at SummerSlam between Batista and the Undertaker to end their feud for once and for all. The Undertaker is set to make an appearance on Smackdown tonight but in what shape or form?

For all of this and more, tune into Friday Night Smackdown, this Friday at 8/7 CT on UPN.

-----------------------

Ok, sent KoM and Legend a PM earlier about their shows and AS! thought I'd tell you I'll probably get back to those later in the week. Anyways, if I decide to type Smackdown, it'll be up later this week and if not, I'll just recap it. Really, I didn't have much planned for this week. Personally, I think once SummerSlam passes, everything is going to really start picking up as I've got many good ideas. So just bare with me until SummerSlam which I feel is going to be a great PPV that shouldn't be overlooked before I move on the road to WrestleMania 23.

The main event for SmackDown especially looks a very exciting match up. It'll be interesting to see how you handle Kurt Angle/Lashley, Henry/Batista, and JBL/Finlay as a tag team. Looking forward to Kane's debut too, and 'Taker-'Tista feud looks sweet too. Looking forward to the entire show, buddy.

Friday Night Smackdown
Friday August 11, 2006
Huntsville, Alabama

Smackdown opens tonight with a huge promo with Mr. Kennedy! Kennedy rambles on about how Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy last week fought for the right to face Mr. Kennedy at SummerSlam. Kennedy compares himself to some of the greatest United States Champions such as Ric Flair, Harley Race, Ricky Steamboat but that none can hold a candle to Mister Kennedy! Kennedy says that just because Rey Mysterio somehow managed to win his match last week doesn’t mean that he is going to win at SummerSlam. Kennedy says that he has beef with Rey over this and he has even more with his friend Matt Hardy. Kennedy shows a quick recapped video of his problems earlier in the year with Matt Hardy at No Way Out leading up to WrestleMania. Mr. Kennedy says that it doesn’t matter who Rey Mysterio brings with him to SummerSlam because Mr. Kennedy will walk out as the United States Champion! This brings out the Smackdown General Manager, Theodore Long. Long states that since Kennedy is looking ready for competition, and has been running his mouth, he will have a match right here and right now against Matt Hardy! But before the match can begin, Long says that at SummerSlam, he has taken upon himself to add Matt Hardy to the match! However, Matt Hardy won’t be wrestling in the match, he will be the Special Referee! Kennedy throws a temper tantrum in the ring, knowing that Matt Hardy could screw him over at SummerSlam! We then head to a commercial break before our first match is ready to start.

We come back from the break to see Matt Hardy and Mr. Kennedy already in the ring going at it. Kennedy got the best of Hardy apparently as the show began as Kennedy has Hardy in the corner as we come back from the break. Kennedy seems to be working over the arm of Hardy, which would prevent him from hitting the Twist of Fate on Kennedy. Good thinking on Kennedy’s part and he continues this attack as he flips Hardy over with a snap mare. Kennedy rares back and kicks Hardy right in the back! Hardy flinches, grabbing his back and yelling out in pain! Kennedy walks around taunting Hardy as Kennedy walks back over and locks in a headlock. Kennedy has the headlock in but Hardy gets back onto his feet and throws Kennedy into the ropes. Kennedy comes running back and hits Hardy with a Shoulder Block. Kennedy makes his way over onto the top ropes but Hardy pulls Kennedy down before he can do anything. Hardy throws Kennedy into the ropes but Kennedy reverses. Hardy however prevents Kennedy from throwing him into the ropes as he hits the Side Effect out of nowhere! The fans cheer on Hardy as he doesn’t pin but pulls Kennedy back up. Hardy tries for a Twist of Fate but Kennedy pushes Hardy into the turnbuckles stomach first. Hardy stumbles back right into Spike DDT from Kennedy. Kennedy heads over onto the top rope and leaps off but misses the Kenton Bomb! Hardy goes for the cover but Kennedy kicks out. Hardy pulls Kennedy back up but Kennedy shoves Hardy into the ropes! Hardy turns back around right into a kick straight into the lower region of Hardy as the ref calls for the bell. Kennedy pounces on Hardy, throwing lefts and rights at his nemesis before down comes Rey Mysterio! Mysterio dropkicks Kennedy into the bottom ropes before he runs off, looking for the 619 but Kennedy ducks out of the way and slides to the outside. Kennedy grabs his title as Mysterio helps his friend Matt Hardy back up in the ring as we head to another break.

After the break, we head backstage to see JBL standing by with Kristal. Kristal asks JBL about tonight’s main event to which JBL responds with that he is in the least bit worried about tonight. He responds with the fact that he is more worried about his career being on the line at SummerSlam because Teddy Long wants to screw him over. And not only that but he has to beat two men to save his career, not one! However, JBL says that if he does win, and he will, he will once again be on top of the mountain. Kristal asks JBL if he is going to be able to get along with Finlay later tonight to which JBL responds that he has no problem with Finlay. JBL says though that he does have a problem with the fact that Kurt Angle is overlooking him. JBL reminds the fans that he was Mr. Money in the Bank and that just because he lost doesn’t mean he won’t win at SummerSlam. JBL closes this out with his famous Wrestling God quote as we head down to ringside for our next match.

Our second match of the night is a quick squash match that sees Kane take on Nunzio! Nunzio doesn’t get in any offense and why should he? Kane is made to look super strong for now before he gets into a feud later on after SummerSlam. Kane works over Nunzio, in a rather quick fashion as he hits all his moves including the Big Boot and the corner clothesline before finishing the Italian off with the Chokeslam from Hell for the win! Kane celebrates his win as the fans cheer for the Big Red Machine.

We come back after the break once again for this time to see Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble and friend Kid Kash standing by backstage. They seem to be talking about something whenever all of a sudden, Hornswoggle comes running through. Finlay is chasing Hornswoggle throughout the arena as he runs right into Theodore Long’s office. Finlay apologizes to the Smackdown GM but Long stops Finlay saying that he has something for Finlay. Finlay looks confused as Long states that since Finlay felt fit to cost Lashley his match at the Great American Bash, well then he can feel free to step into the ring with the “Dominator” Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam! Finlay drops his jaw, not knowing what he has gotten himself into now!

Shortly after this promo, we head over backstage to see “Pirate” Paul Burchill sharpening his sword backstage. MVP just happens to walk by and gets into the face of Burchill. Burchill doesn’t say anything as the cocky and arrogant MVP takes care of that. MVP says that last week Burchill didn’t win but that MVP had “injured” his leg so he had to quit the match then and there. MVP hobbles on his leg playing this off but really of course he’s not injured. Burchill laughs at MVP as MVP wonders what is funny but Burchill doesn’t say anything. MVP says that he’s tired of all these “freaks” around here mainly stating that at Burchill and that he’s going to do Smackdown a favor and start ridding them of “freaks like you” Burchill. MVP walks off but Burchill stops him. Burchill looks at MVP and says that if you ever call me “Pirate” Paul Burchill a “freak” again, it’ll be off with your head! Burchill points the sword at MVP as MVP lets out a big gulp and walks off.

After the break, we come back to the third match of the night, that pitting Kid Kash taking on Psicosis one on one. It is announced that whoever wins this match will move into the Cruiserweight title match next Friday night here on Smackdown which already has Super Crazy and Jamie Noble, due to Super Crazy having beaten Noble twice. Kash and Psicosis put on a good match, which gets the crowd going as they get some decent time for this match. Kash was looking for an early Dead Level but Psicosis was able to use the ropes and spring himself off with a Sliced Bread like maneuver. Psicosis covered but only got the two count. Psicosis hurrily grabs Kash, lifting him back onto his feet as he hits Kash with a DDT. Psicosis makes his way onto the top rope, looking possibly for a Leg Drop but Kash makes his way onto the top ropes too! Both men are standing on the top rope and you can tell this isn’t going to be good! Kash and Psicosis both grab one another before leaping off the ropes and they hit a dual neck breaker! Both men throw arms over another at the same time and the ref is confused but counts the win! The referee goes over to the announcer and states that since both men had their hands on each other at the time of the pin fall, both men have advanced onto the title match next week on Smackdown! Noble is wondering what is going on outside, shaking his head in disgust and wondering how that is possible.
We cut backstage after the match to see a video package of the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry play. The video highlights major things in Henry’s past few months of dominance such as his matches against Kurt Angle and what not. The video ends with Henry stating that he is the “Silverback of the Smackdown Jungle” and that there is nobody or nothing that can or will get in his way of becoming the king of the jungle!

We take another break to come back to see Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy talking backstage. Mysterio asks Hardy how is feeling after earlier tonight when Kennedy punted him down low. Hardy says that he is fine and he thanks Rey for saving him from that attack. Rey says it was no problem and Rey says that he’s glad Matt is going to be the Special Referee at SummerSlam so he can try and prevent Kennedy from cheating like he tried to tonight. Hardy says that he’s going to call it right down the middle and he’ll make sure that Kennedy doesn’t try and pull something out of his sleeve.

After that short little promo, we head into the ring for our fourth match of the night. It pits one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Brian Kendrick going one on one against William Regal. Dave Taylor made his singles debut last week getting a win over London so this week it’s Regal and Kendrick’s turn to go at it. This turns out to be a fairly decent match but as always, Regal slows down the match to try and wear down Kendrick. He does a good job as he works on the leg of Kendrick, trying to prevent the high flyer from doing what he does best of course. Kendrick however fights this off whenever he hits a huge enzuigiri. Kendrick was able to fight back while he was down and he hit Regal with a flying forearm! Kendrick gets back up and hits Regal with an arm bar toss sending Regal across the ring. Kendrick hurries himself up before hitting Regal with a dropkick to the face. Taylor tries to interfere but London pulls him off the apron and throws him down onto the ground. Kendrick quickly grabs Regal and runs off the turnbuckles, hitting a Sliced Bread before covering getting the win! London and Kendrick celebrate their win with their manager Ashley Massaro as Regal is down in the ring and Taylor is down on the outside.

We take our final commercial break before the main event tonight to see Kurt Angle backstage with the Miz. The Miz tries to insult Angle during the interview but Angle has nothing to do with it. Angle says he’s been in every match in the WWE and that a Triple Threat doesn’t scare him. As a matter of fact, he was even in a Triple Threat at SummerSlam before! Angle says that just because the odds are against him once again doesn’t mean he can’t overcome them. Angle says that he was overlooked at the Olympics and look at him now! He’s got a gold frickin’ medal! Kurt states that if JBL or Mark Henry have a problem with it, he suggests they man up and do something about it! Angle throws some of his quotes out and ends it with “It’s true…it’s damn true”

Our main event takes place as we see JBL and Finlay team to take on Batista and Mark Henry against Kurt Angle and Bobby Lashley. Probably one of the biggest main events recently on Smackdown as far as “star-power” is concerned. The match gets a good bunch of time but mainly comes down to the ending. We see Lashley tagged in from Angle and now it’s Lashley and Finlay in the ring. All hell breaks loose from this point out as Lashley is beating the hell out of Finlay right now, trying to prove a point to the Irishman. Lashley literally picks Finlay up and drives him into each turnbuckle in all four corners of the ring. Lashley seems as if he is going ballistic in the ring as he drives Finlay into a corner and there is a blind tag from Batista. Lashley has no clue as he continues the attack on Lashley. Batista comes into the ring, chop blocking Lashley from behind and Angle looks pissed having no clue that he was made the legal man via the blind tag. Angle steps into the ring and starts throwing punches at Batista before he clotheslines the Animal out of the ring! This brings Mark Henry into the ring but Angle ducks underneath Henry and throws Henry to the outside of the ring! JBL comes charging into the ring but Angle side steps him and then hits a huge Angle Slam! Angle and Lashley both wait for Finlay to get back up as Lashley hits Finlay with a huge Spear! Lashley covers Finlay and gets the win for his team! Lashley and Angle celebrate their win in the ring as we see JBL and Henry backing their way up the ramp. Batista is still down on the outside and Finlay of course is down too. Angle and Lashley celebrate for a bit but all of a sudden the lights go out! Batista was making his way up the ramp at this time now! The ring had been cleared as Angle, Lashley, JBL, and Henry had all ready left as time had passed since Angle and Lashley celebrated their win. Finlay was helped to the back! Batista apparently was going to call out the Undertaker as he had a mic in hand but since the lights were out he can’t! Batista was about to go up the ramp whenever a lighting bolt hits the stage and a huge fire starts up. Suddenly a large light points to the rafters as we see Undertaker’s signature cross hanging from the rafters on fire! The show ends focusing on this signal to Batista that the Undertaker is ready for SummerSlam!

Default Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Kennedy kicking off the show was good, he seemed in character. Eh, not too happy about Hardy being made the Guest Ref for the Kennedy vs Rey match, would've much rather seen him just added to the title match to make it a Triple Threat. O inpromptue match? Kennedy gets lucky that Rey didn't end up connecting with an early message there, I wonder if this Matt/Rey friendship can stand the test of time during this angle without one turning on the other

Typically JBL promo sounded alright. Kane dominates poor Nunzio as he'd be expected to, wise booking to put him over in the very repetitive way. Wow, Finlay is only chasing Hornswoggle, and instead gets booked against Lashley for Summerslam. Sounds like a decent mid card match tbh. Meh never liked the pirate Burchill gimmick, but he's good in the ring so a small feud with MVP to put the balla over could work alright. Haha MVP threatened with the short

Hmm Fatal 4 Way made for next week sounds like a goody, but really, this is the kinda match you could've saved for Summerslam to variate from the slew of single matches you have on the card. Owell, atleast SD! will be worth it next week just for this one. Henry has been dominant recently, I wonder who will take him off his high perch? As I said earlier, I dunno if this Matt/Rey friendship will last with the US title belt lingering between them, but for now, Kennedy seems to be the focus of things, so we'll see. Not alot going into most promo's tonight, it's been a quiet show on that front

Good way to keep the tag champs looking strong, picking up the win here for Kendrick over Taylor. It makes you wonder who'll beat L/K for the belts at this rate. Powerful words from Angle to put over the mans intensity is nicely done, would've loved to have seen him lay out that talentless fag Miz, but owell. Ke-razy main event with some quality stars involved and I knew Taker would make a cameo too, ending in calamity and Taker staring down Batista, the faces winning the ME and all looking good heading towards Summerslam

Solid show KOP, nothing special, but then again, you always get by on the basics. 7.5/10
