Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Judgement Day Review- ORRY420

Opening Video:
This was a great video mate, it hyped the show well and got me pumped for what is sure to be a memorable night.

Mexicools vs. MNM: Great, highflying Tag Team Match to bring the crowd to life early on. THis was the obvious choice for the opener, and I'm pleased to say these 4 men did their jobs, wrestling a highly entertaining maych. I can see atleast one, if not both of these duos getting involved in the Tag Team Title hunt soon. Great start!

Sylvan Promo: Decent promo here from the Ambassador of Quebec, and I can't wait to see how his challenge pans out this week on Smackdown. Not really high on the push he has been recieving recently, hopefully it doesn't continue much longer.

Jamie Noble vs. Chavo Guerrero: Great Cruiserweight Championship Match here with some awesome technical action! Both of these guys are very capable in ring workers and coincidently produced a high quality match which was very entertaining. Kash applauding Noble was a nice touch, will we see the reformation of the Pitbulls or will we see a feud begin?

ECW ONS Vignette: Awesome to see the Land of Extreme will be returning for one night, and the main event should be simply amazing.

Brian Kendrick and Paul London vs. Finlay and William Regal: Another very solid match, this PPV has been great technically so far. Burchill makes his presence felt throughout the contest, but in the end the Champions retain with Kendrick nailing Sliced Bread Number 2! It looks as if we may see UKliq breaking up in the near future after this loss, a feud between the respective members should be fantastic!

Ken Kennedy Promo: Decent little promo here from Kennedy hyping his match with Lashley. Hopefully the Loudmouth can pick up the win and move on to bigger and better things.

Ken Kennedy vs. Lashley: Kennedy does his usual thing before the match, which is great to see. These two guys battle it out in what turns out to be a hard fought encounter, and in the end Kennedy picks up the win out of nowhere with the roll up! Hopefully this feud comes to an end now, but I wont be suprised to see the Rubber Match somewhere down the line because of the finish.

Paul Heyman/Teddy Long Segment: All right segment here between Heyamn and Long. It served it's purpose in hyping ONS, and the Extreme Rules Match this week on Smackdown should be awesome.

Booker T vs. Matt Hardy: Great match here, if not a little rushed. Hardy nails some big moves early, which sets the tone for the match. Hardy looks very strong in this one, kicking out of the Bookend. Eventually Booker retains, but this feud is far from over. Hardy will be the United States Champion soon, mark my words. This has been MOTN so far, very enjoyable mate.

Vengance Vignette: Good litte video here to promote Vengance which is just around the corner. Should be a great show!

Batista vs. Rey Mysterio: This was a suprisingly great contest, with the David vs. Goliath feel played throughout. Mysterio looks to be the underdog, and plays that role throughout the duration of the match. Mysterio has a huge flurry towards the end, and even looks like he has a chance of winning it, before Batista counters the Seated Senotn into a Batista Bomb for the win! Very good match, just behind Hardy/Booker for MOTN so far.

Edge Promo: Intense promo from Edge, but your promos in general have been a little off toinight. Edge is confident he's walking away with the win. Can he do it? I don't think so.

6 Pack Challenge: Great way to start the match, with some quick tags in and out. Dissapointed to see Christian go first, hopefully his push continues after this. JBL is next to go, followed by Orton, and the final 3 have been set. Benoit is eliminated via belt shot from Edge, and it's down to Angle and the Champ. Wow, shocking to see Kurt win the Title, a great way to end the show with a suprising Title change.

Overall: This was an awesome PPV match wise, however the promos and match hype was below par. This was not the best PPV I've read from you, but the awesome matches definately made it an enjoyable 1show. 8.5/10- Nice work.

Deadman_014's Raw Review

Contract Signing: This was a good start to the show, good contract signing for their match and I liked how RVD mocked him at the end that was a nice touch in. This was a good promo from whichever superstars perspective you look at it, RVD vs McMahon tonight should be interesting I am sure someone will interfere to help McMahon win possibly.

3MW vs Highlanders:
Nice win for the Highlanders, giving a really interesting look into the title scene which should heat up soon, with a few teams off Smackdown hopefully. Decent match here, and MNM come to Raw which is a surprising yet very realistically smart choice to move to Raw.

Chris Jericho Interview:
Interesting interview, Jericho was good in here I enjoyed it, but the explanation for him working with McMahon should be good, possibly a WWE Title shot after Vengeance if he does this deed for him? Who knows, looks interesting though good stuff here.

Shelton Benjamin vs Gregory Helms: Benjamin goes over here in a good match, and we see 1-1 here at this point. I am sure you counted the weeks and we'll have the best of 7 series end at Vengeance. Their match was great at Backlash, so their match at Vengeance should be interesting to see how you innovate it.[b][color=red]

ECW Promo: I've read this a few times, so it doesn't interest me anymore. ECW One Night Stand II needs a few more matchs only 2 weeks away from the event, but with Smackdown starting to use some ECW probably will have some matchs on the card from there, looks good though interesting whats gonna happen with Vengeance 2 weeks later.

Foley & Funk Promo:
Hmm, I can't really rate this as I've never seen Funk do a promo before, it seemed alright nothing special, but a slight suggestion to you to find Funk promos as I wouldn't imagine him talking like this. Good attempt though, and this is a decent match which should be incredibly hardcore.

Jeff Hardy vs Rob Conway:
Hardy gets a small decent squash win here, and he should build up to a feud in the near future to go at Vengeance with some midcard talent.

Vengeance Promo:
I've also seen this before, but this is decent like the other one. I am very interested to see what happens at Vengeance, as this should be a really big PPV for Raw possibly one of the better PPV's you do with what I expect to happen.

Striker & Test/Carlito Promo: This feud seems to be building well, and this was a good promo. Striker was very good in this, and he came out to look very strong and Carlito was also good. The booking of this feud has been superb, I can see some type of match between them at Vengeance.

Mickie vs Ashley:
I like how you are booking the women's division, a nice win for Mickie continuing her reign and Victoria aligns herself with Mickie, Trish saves Ashley and we'll probably see possibly a fatal four way at Vengeance good stuff.

McMahon & HHH Promo:
Good promo here, I see Y2J coming out later for sure, should be interesting where you take this and I can tell RVD's title reign is gonna end to HHH at One Night Stand because I don't see RVD with the title much longer with the opponents he could have.

Mr. McMahon vs RVD: Solid main event, RVD comes out on top after Y2J comes out as expected, and HBK responds helping RVD. I am very surprised to see RVD come out on top here, but good stuff either way with a nice end to Raw.

Overall: Solid show mate, 86/100 from me. I enjoyed it and all feuds are devoloping and I really couldn't find anything bad in this show besides the Funk & Foley promo that I didn't think sounded right for Funk. Good show bud, Open Season is beginning I can tell.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Raw Review.

The contract signing was a great way to start the show, as we too often see it as the main event now days. I thought you had both RVD and Hunter in character really well, especially with RVD’s mocking of Hunter. Vince v RVD in the Main Event was unexpected, definitely expecting some Hunter interference.

Good win for the Highlanders over 3MW, makes both the Highlanders and the tag division look strong, more so with MnMs introduction.

Good Jericho promo, very much in character here and definitely keeps the fans guessing as to what’s in this deal with McMahon for Jericho.

Nice match between Helms and Shelton, had a cool ending with the Exploder out of no where, and ties up the best of 7 series.

I liked the ECW Promo, you’re putting it over to be a big deal.

The Foley/Funk promo was good, with Foley very much in character, and I liked Funk too, seemed typical of him. The mutual respect between the two teams was a nice touch.

Hardy goes over in what is hopefully nothing more than a squash match.

Vengeance hype now, gives it a nice big time feel.

Good promo with Vince and Hunter, interested to see where you go with this, could you really ruin RVDs title dream with a loss at ONS??

Good main event match, with run ins from Jericho and HBK. Surprised to see RVD go over, but good ending that keeps everyone happy.

Good show mate, well written and very easy to read. Well done.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Raw Review

Contract Signing
: Ah, here we go. Classic contract signing. Pretty good promo here, HHH and Van Dam both seemed in character, as did Vince. There were some bleak points, but besides that it was ok. Vince vs RVD sounds like a squash, and unless something big happens, I see RVD winning that match.

3MW vs. The Highlanders: HIGHLANDERS WITH THE UPSET! Damn, wasn't expecting that. Good way of building this feud by giving the new team the big win against the champs. MNM comes out! Snapshot! Looks like we're seeing a good triple threat tag feud building. Looks good bro.

Chris Jericho Promo: Good promo here, Jericho seemed good in this promo, a FANTASTIC match should come out of this feud at Vengeance, and hopefully is topped by some sort of gimmick match at SummerSlam, but hey what am I saying. You book the show lol.

Shelton Benjamin © vs. Gregory Helms Another good match in this Best of Seven Series. Interesting to see Benjamin win the second match, as now I have no clue what's going to happen, all I know is that it'll probably go to a seventh match.

Mick Foley Promo: Funk!! Good promo here, like the tag match announced for ONS. Should be good, even though it's going to be recapped. Foley and Funk were both in character.

Jeff Hardy vs. Rob Conway: Glad to see Hardy back in the WWE BTW, I hope you give him a good run. Nice match to put Hardy over showing he has no ring rust, and great win for Hardy. Hopefully he feuds with someone before Vengeance, so we can see him in action.

John Cena Promo: Short but good promo here. I see Cena winning this match, and getting into the hunt.

John Cena vs Kane: Good match here. Nice ending with Cena coming back to win and hitting the F-U. Can't wait to see who Cena will be facing, if RVD, the match should be awesome.

Striker/Carlito Promo: Pretty good promo here, to my surprise. Looks like we're getting a feud between Carlito and Striker, which should be entertaining in my mind. I know you're a Striker fan, so I think he will end up coming out on top in this feud, but hey, anything can happen.

Mickie James vs. Ashley Massaro: Eh, okay women's match. As with everyone else, I'm not really good at judging women's matches since usually they aren't that good. Anyway, Mickie brutally wins after hitting Ashley with that devastating DDT. Good win for Mickie, and nice to see her on top tonight.

McMahon Promo: Short promo, but Vince puts himself over as he normally does. He's not coming out on top though, I just don't see it.

Rob Van Dam vs. Mr. McMahon: A good main event, glad to see Van Dam pick up the victory and nice interaction of Jericho and Michaels during the match. Won't be surprised if we don't see a tag team main event next week after this, I'll have to wait and see if my prediction's right.

Overall: 85% = B. A good show, but not your best show. No "strong" problems, but I just didn't think this was one of those "great" Raw's. Besides that, I thought this was a good show. Can't wait for ONS II, and the buildup for the ME is getting better each week.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

First off, apologies for the lateness of the review, but better late than never they say so...

Renegade™ reviews Judgment Day

Mexicools vs MNM
A good choice to kick things off with IMO, this should be easy pickings for MNM, who could do something better than this. However, the Mexicools are all over this match, and MNM are kinda lucky to be in it, and Melina saves them from a loss! And just like that, the Snapshot is hit, and MNM pick up the win. Decent start to the show. ***

Meh Sylvan, hard to take him seriously at times, but he seems to be getting some exposure now in this thread, and a challenge is layed down for SmackDown! My guess is Holly accepts

Chavo vs Noble
Very good, quick paced Cruiser match as expected. Didn't expect Noble to lose here, and after taking some hurt from Chavo, he was able to pull out the win, but it wasn't easy, and we may soon see a new CW champion, despite how well Noble has been doing. Tiger Driver ends it. Not bad, kinda lacked that typical CW feel, but still good. ***

The ECW hype continues

London/Kendrick vs Finlay/Regal w/Burchill
Much better tag contest than the one to open the show, with the mix of youth and experience playing off well here, London & Kendrick up to their usual energetic selves, before Kendrick is isolated, but it doesn't last long as London is tagged back in. As thought, Burhcill gets himself involved and sends London groin first onto the ropes, but it counts for nothing as L&K pick up a win to retain in a very good match. ***1/4

Kennedy with a standard pre-match interview, I think he'll cheat to beat Lashley tonight

Lashley vs Mr. Kennedy
Kennedy starts to play games with Lashley from the get go by constantly moving out of the ring, before we get started. I'm not sure if Kennedy would be able to pull off that Sunset Powerbomb move you described, but it was a sweet variation to a suplex counter. A steel chair comes into the match and Kennedy ends up landing on it, ouch. Kennedy does win, and does cheat to win in the end, haha, how did I know he would. Cradle with the tights does it. ***

Long/Heyman served as more build to ONS I guess

Matt Hardy vs Booker T
Come on Hardy! Matt started off well but Booker is quick to assert dominance in this match. Hardy comes back at Booker and scores a near fall after a Moonsault. This match is getting pretty good I have to say as Booker survives a Side Effect. And Booker nails the Scissors Kick, well it's all over for Hardy, yes it is. Very enjoyable encounter, I hope for a rematch. ***1/2

Good hype video for Vengeance

Batista vs Rey
Batista is gonna maul Rey in this one. Batista dominates Rey before Mysterio tries a comeback, but Batista is looking good here. No Rey fights back and starts to make me wonder if he can beat someone twice his size. Nope, Batista wins it, thankfully. Lagged and was never gonna be pretty anyways. ***

Edge may not be leaving as the champ...

Kurt Angle vs Benoit vs Christian vs Orton vs Edge vs JBL
Excellent main event to end the night with, surprised that Christian is the first man to be eliminated after only 9 minutes, but whatever. Benoit makes JBL the second man to go with the Crossface. Benoit then makes Orton tap also and he is rolling here, however I think it'll come down to Angle & Edge. Was I right or was I right? Edge had to cheat to do it, but Benoit is gone! And Edge manages to retain over Angle. Surprising. Excellent end to the PPV. ****1/4

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

WWE: RAW ~ Monday May 22, 2006 ~ Review
~ RAW starts off with a nice Contract Signing. I think that it should have been given more length, but that’s okay. McMahon vs. RVD tonight will be interesting to watch. I sense that some ECW crew will come up and try to save WWE. Or we might see WWE crew also coming up and leading this to a huge messy brawl. Let’s find out.

~ Highlanders pick up a huge victory over 3 Minute Warning. MNM come up aftermath and take out both of the Highlanders with the Snapshots. So I guess the feud is just heating up.

~ A decent Chris Jericho promo here hyping more to his feud against Shawn Michaels. Damn, this feud will be great! Lol, I am just excited, nothing much.

~ Man, I am loving this Helms vs. Benjamin feud. And you know why, because they will produce a kick-ass match at a pay-per-view, I am guessing. An exciting match-up here as Shelton picks up the victory over Helms. So when will the third match of the Best of the Seven Series happen? I am guessing it might be the next week’s RAW.

~ ECW getting more hype is cool.

~ An excellent promo from Mick Foley who wants a match at ECW. And brings out his partner, Terry Funk. Now these both men were really great on the microphone. Now let’s see who are there opponents gonna be. Tommy Dreamer and Sandman!? Great. A hand-shake moment was really great. Good moment and an excellent promo.

~ Hardy makes his return to the WWE and gets a win over Conway in a squash type of match. Don’t know where Hardy is going though.

~ Vengeance also getting hype is good.

~ Hmm, a good promo from John Cena who looked focused with his match against Kane next.

~ Very glad to see John Cena picking up the victory and becoming the number one contender for the WWE Championship. It was expected though, so it really didn’t surprise me. I think you need surprise package in your show because everything is looking predictable.

~ Hmm, a great promo from Matt Striker here who talks about respect and disrespects Carlito. And down there comes Carlito! Carlito shared some cool words. And then the brawl started, with Test coming out for the save. And then Matt almost killed Carlito! Damn, I think that a huge rivalry is just arising between them, and that will be cool.

~ Mickie beats Ashley in a quick match. And right after it, we witness another brutal beating, but only this time to Ashley from two divas filled with huge ego’s.

~ Vince wants Triple H to not come down to the ring because he thinks that he can beat RVD alone? Uh, let’s see if Vince can really keep his words. Also, the Extreme Rules Match would be wicked.

~ A great main-event here, with those special run-ins. Wasn’t really expecting Jericho to come up and add some offense to RVD. But then everything evened up as HBK came up and saved RVD, and eventually gave a victory to RVD over Vince McMahon. Also KOP, review back please. Lol.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

WWE.com Raw News

MNM's move to Raw came as a shock to many people and it is just another way for the WWE to try and improve Raw's tag division. Both Mercury and Nitro attacked the Highlanders this week after their win which has prompted into a number one contender's match this week on Raw.

The Benjamin/Helms Best of Seven Series continues to be impressive as mentioned by the Raw writing team. The series was planned right before WrestleMania with their first match not being in the series taking place at Backlash. Once the match at Backlash receieved rave reviews, WWE knew they had to take advantage and run the Best of 7 Series.

The feud between Mickie James and Beth Phoenix will begin to heat up seeing as Mickie and her ally, Victoria beat down Ashley, an ally of Trish Stratus and Beth Phoenix on Raw this week. Ashley will be out for a few weeks and Trish will be backing up Beth while Victoria has Mickie's back during the feud.

Jeff Hardy will begin a feud soon as the creative team just wanted to have Hardy debut this week and go over clean on another wrestler. Hardy has shown he is dedicated to being back in the WWE and has shown up on time, been at the shows ready to go and for that, the WWE seems like they want to reward Hardy, but with what?

Don't expect Cena to have too major of a role in the RVD/HHH feud until Vengeance and if he does, he will simply be backing Van Dam in the war against McMahon. Cena won number one contendership this past week to fight the winner of the title match at Vengeance and it will be interesting to see who Cena ends up fighting.

And to close things out from the Raw side, the Striker/Carlito feud gained a lot of buildup this week whenever Striker stabbed Carlito with a pencil, yes a pencil! Both men are ready for the feud to begin and it could end up culminating in a great match up if it is given the proper time.

WWE.com Smackdown News

And there is a new World-Heavyweight Champion. His name, Kurt Angle! Angle has only been on Smackdown for three weeks but it has been planned for Angle to win the World title for a little while. Angle won the title over Edge this past Sunday at Judgment Day in the Six Pack Challenge and now, the fan favorite looks to lead Smackdown back to the top of the WWE.

Rey Mysterio won't be on Smackdown this week to play off the injuries, since he has "injured ribs" from being smashed into a car two weeks ago. But mainly, to play off the fact he got tossed around by the Animal and really beat down. So don't expect to see the Master of the 619 at all this Friday.

The WWE is very well happy with what happened during the United States title match. Booker and Hardy put on a good match with the time given and this Friday, there will be a tag match with Booker T teaming with Ken Kennedy to fight Bobby Lashley and Matt Hardy. What team will reign victorious here tonight.

And expect a few more matches to be announced for One Night Stand II this week on Smackdown. Only two matches have been announced as of now and it seems they're trying to keep it like old ECW with waiting and announcing the matches. But actually, the whole card will have been announced before the PPV so.

WWE Heat and Velocity Results

Sunday Night Heat Tapings:

Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch def. The Freaks (Eugene and Goldust)
Kenny w/ The Spirit Squad def. Viscera w/ Val Venis
Charlie Haas def. Rene Dupree

Velocity Tapings:

The Gymini def. Funaki and Scotty 2 Hotty
Simon Dean def. Shannon Moore
Kid Kash def. Steven Richards

Notes: Ok, probably won't bother posting a Smackdown preview since it looks like the show might end up being recapped anyways. If not, then I'll post one Sunday but right now, it looks like it will be recapped. Got a few more reviews to return. Have to wait a little while though seeing as some are waiting on PPV's to be posted and anyways, yeah you all know who you are. Otherwise, I have returned teh reviews you gave me for Judgment Day and Raw.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Okay this my first review so please be gentle. I've just finished through this entire thread and I must say ... WOW! You are an excellent writer and storyteller my friend. This a review for your latest RAW post.

ONS Contract Signing: Superb build up. I can really feel the tension brewing in this rivalry. However, it does feel a little like ECW = Good guys and WWE = Bad Guys. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

3MW vs. Highlanders I'm not really a fan of either of these teams, but I feel like you gave the match some interest. MNM coming out afterwards was good and hope they take the titles from 3MW.

Jericho interview Great stuff! Jericho was always funny and hated at the same time and you've captured this really well. As a Jericho fan I am of course disappointed to see him keep losing but that's cool. Heels do lose a lot. Jericho and Michaels will put on some great matches.

Benjamin vs. Helms Nice fued you've got going here. Two great in ring performers and a cool best of seven series - great IC title material.

ONS Promo: Really hyping the PPV nicely. Once again though it does feel like WWE is the villain in all of this.

Foley & Funk promo: Cool stuff. The two legends always put on a great match and their presence at ONS adds to the whole sentimentality of the PPV.

Jeff Hardy vs. Conway: Nice match. Good to see Jeff back and winning via his traditional arsenal of moves.

Vengeance promo: You do these promos really well. You might not have any matches booked for the show but it certainly has my attention.

Cena interview: I'm not really a fan of Cena but you have handled him in an interesting way for me. Good dialogue.

Cena vs. Kane I like the sound of this match and it was a good old. No technical wrestling between these two but that's obvious. Would have preferred a Kane win but a good match anyway.

Striker & Carlito promo: Good to read. Pretty sick stuff with Striker stabbing Carlito with a pen. Interesting looking fued though.

Mickie vs. Ashley: Standard women's action. Never very interesting but it has to be in there I suppose.

HHH & Vince promo: Loved it! These two guys are great speakers and great heels, which you have captured wonderfully.

RVD vs. Vince Good match. Standard beat down for Vince was fun, and I enjoyed the Jericho and HBK interference. I hope HBK doesn't go all Superman though.

Overall: 8/10 - Great read!

Please check out WWE REDEMPTION by me and review please. Thank you

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Friday Night Smackdown!
Friday May 26, 2006
Springfield, Missouri

We open up the show with the new World-Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle! Angle comes down to the ring with the World-Heavyweight title mentioning he’s been WWE Champion five times, WCW Champion once but never been the World-Heavyweight Champion! Angle goes on about how he went through five other men this past Sunday at Judgment Day and that his move back to his home, Friday Night Smackdown, paid off in the end. The Olympic Gold Medalist continues on about how he made Edge tap out in the middle of the ring with the Ankle Lock! Angle challenges anyone to come down here now and fight him because he’s ready for some competition, oh it’s true, it’s damn true! Metalingus hits throughout the arena and out comes the former World-Heavyweight Champion, Edge. Edge comes down the ramp staring at Angle before beginning to speak. Edge mentions that his loss last night was a fluke and that it could never happen again. The Rated R Superstar continues on running down Angle until Burn in My Light hits and out comes Randy Orton. Orton challenges Angle tonight to a one on one match mentioning that it is his destiny to walk out, the World-Heavyweight Champion tonight. Orton talks about how he should have won, had Benoit not “cheated to eliminate him” Orton continues on until Captain Charisma, Christian comes down! Christian stops and looks at Edge and Orton before telling Orton how he got eliminated last Sunday was a fluke. Christian says tonight that he wants to challenge and be the next one to contend for the World title but that he damn sure wants to make at least sure that Edge and Orton don’t have a chance at the gold. And finally, out comes Theodore Long! The GM of Smackdown walks down the ramp and announces that tonight; we’re going to see an interesting tag match tonight. Long says that it’s going to be uneasy allies tonight whenever Edge, Christian, and Randy Orton all do battle to determine the number one contender for next week’s match for the World-Heavyweight Championship.

We come back from the break to see Sylvan in the middle of the ring, ready to issue his American Open Challenge tonight. Sylvan runs down all Americans mentioning how that the French Canadians simply outdo Americans. How French Canadians have and always will be better and finally, he promotes Quebec seeing as he is the Ambassador of Quebec. But as Sylvan speaks, he gets interrupted by The Miz? Yes, Mike Mizanin comes down the ramp yelling out “Hoorah” before coming down the ring answering Sylvan’s challenge. A short kept match seeing as it’s nothing major but a quick opener for tonight, just to get Sylvan on the show. Sylvan does work on Miz not letting Miz get too much offense in and finally, Sylvan finishes off with the 3 Seconds of Fame for the three count. Sylvan grabs his Quebec flag and begins to celebrate when down comes Hardcore Holly. Holly grabs the flag from Sylvan and bashes the flag across the head of Sylvan. Holly grabs a chair from under the ring swinging the chair and connecting with a hard shot to the head before placing the chair in the middle of the ring. The fans cheer as Holly lifts Sylvan up and delivers the Alabama Slam onto the chair with Sylvan down and out. Holly then issues out his “own challenge” so to speak as he announces next weeks, he ends what Sylvan started, in a Hardcore Match!

Backstage, we see Paul Heyman arriving wearing his normal ECW hat with his suit. Heyman walks around backstage talking to some of the Smackdown wrestlers who just happen to be standing in the back at this time. We see Heyman walking towards the door of the Smackdown General Manager before knocking on the door but Long isn’t in there. However Heyman looks across the hallway and sees a sign on a door that says “Paul Heyman, ECW Representative” Heyman walks into the room and sits down before we see two men walk up but the camera has them cut off. Heyman talks to both men asking them if they are ready before we cut to a commercial.

The normal Vengeance video airs after the break.

After the video is played, we cut into the ring to see Paul London tonight fighting in one on one action against Nunzio. Kendrick is at ringside for the match cheering on London while Nunzio is by himself tonight. London and Nunzio put on a good little match and it gets enough to get the fans into it seeing as both men are very talented cruiserweights. London delivers a Hurricanrana onto Nunzio flipping Nunzio across the ring and the match seems as if it’s starting to wear down. London heads to the top looking for the 450 Splash but somehow, someway Nunzio is able to roll away. Nunzio takes advantage climbing onto the ropes delivering the Sicilian Slice! The cover, one…two…thr…wait Nunzio is pulled to the outside of the ring. It’s Justin Credible and Lance Storm! The Impact Players are on Smackdown! The ref calls for the bell and Storm and Credible do a beat down on the outside. The ref has rendered the decision a no contest as London and Kendrick make their way to the back with Storm and Credible throwing Nunzio into the ring. Credible grabs Storm as Storm delivers a Storm Kick. Nunzio runs right into a That’s Incredible! The Impact Players have made their mark tonight and look to continue until down comes Tony Mamaluke! Mamaluke slides in as Storm and Credible slide out backing up the ring. Storm and Credible watch as Mamaluke helps his former partner, Nunzio in the ring and Michael Cole and Tazz announce at One Night Stand, it will be the FBI vs. The Impact Players

Following the commercial break, Batista comes down the ramp looking around the arena as the fans boo the hell out of him. Batista gets into the ring and soaks up all the heat, acting as if he does actually enjoy it after what he did. Batista says he enjoyed beating the hell out of Rey this past Sunday at Judgment Day and if he had another chance, he would jump at it. Batista says the match speaks for itself, roll the footage. Clips of the match are shown, mainly the main parts before the devastating ending with Mysterio leaping right off the ropes into a modified Batista Bomb! The expression on the fans face is shown with Batista gaining the win. After the clip, we see Batista smiling and says “Wasn’t that great?” The Animal mentions how that Rey won’t be here this week due to “injuries” Batista says that since Rey has the week off, that a powerful man such as himself needs the week off. The Animal then points to the skybox and mentions that tonight, the skybox is waiting for him and he’s ready to go to it! The Animal slides out of the ring and makes his way up the steps after climbing over the barricade. People try to touch Batista but he simply punks them out before continuing on until he gets to the top. Batista walks into the skybox and takes a seat, surveying the arena before the show continues on.

After the break, we come back to see our third match of the night pitting Chris Benoit fighting Orlando Jordan. The match was designed to be a quick, squash match but Jordan does get some moves in making it a good match. Benoit doesn’t waste time though quickly finishing off Jordan with his combo of the three German Suplexes! Benoit makes his way to the top rope after taunting Jordan with his cut throat symbol and he leaps off the top rope for the Diving Head butt! Benoit looks around the arena before jumping right onto Jordan wasting no time as he quickly applies the Crippler Crossface! Benoit looks around the arena as Jordan raises his hand acting as if he doesn’t want to tap but has no choice it’s over! Benoit wins!

Backstage, we see Benoit walking around with his hard fought win before he walks right into his friend and former ECW alumni, Dean Malenko! Malenko and Benoit share a quick hug with Malenko congratulating Benoit on the win. Malenko says that he’s watched Benoit the first part of the year and said that he is ready himself to step back into the ring one last time. Malenko mentions to Benoit he wants a match at One Night Stand II! Benoit smiles and shakes hands with the Man of a Thousand Holds before both men walk off. A major match has been set for One Night Stand II making the total to 4 as of now.

Right after the break, the new ECW One Night Stand II Video Package airs.

After the video package, we get our ECW Showcase Extreme Rules Match, which turns out to be lengthy as Sabu and the WWE Champion, Rob Van Dam team together to fight Finlay and William Regal with Paul Burchill at ringside. Sabu and RVD try to take advantage of the Ukliq’s abilities to not be able to get along anymore. Sabu takes down Regal with the Triple Jump Moonsault onto a chair but Finlay is quick to break up the pin fall meaning the match must go on. RVD throws a chair to Finlay as he comes in and RVD spins around for a Van Daminator but Finlay throws the chair and hits RVD right in the face. Finlay grabs his shillelagh, which is of course legal in the match as Burchill hands it to him. Finlay comes swinging at Sabu but Sabu is quick to duck as Finlay ends up hitting Regal. Finlay looks at what he just did but doesn’t have too much time as Sabu ends up clotheslining Finlay over the ropes. Sabu grabs a table that was in the corner of the ring and sets it up before tagging in RVD. RVD makes his way onto the top rope as Sabu throws Regal right onto the top of the table. Sabu sees Burchill coming in but he pushes Burchill off the ropes back into Finlay as both men go wandering back into the barricade. RVD leaps off the ropes delivering a 5 Star Frog Splash through the table onto Regal. The cover, One…Two…Three!!! RVD and Sabu have won tonight as Sabu helps RVD up as they celebrate. We see Finlay and Burchill making their way to the back, not even bothering about Regal and it seems like the dissension is continuing among the group. After the match, Sabu grabs a mic from ringside and cuts a quick promo with Sabu saying that “He doesn’t have a match right now but knows the perfect opponent for One Night Stand” Sabu heads out of the ring and walks over to the commentating table. Sabu asks Tazz if he would meet in the match that has been built for 10 years, a heated feud for one last time. Tazz looks at Sabu as he stands up and both men shake hands and it’s on! The rematch is on come One Night Stand!

After the break, we see JBL being interviewed right now by Josh Matthews. Matthews ask JBL about being eliminated second this past Sunday but JBL shares no comment, stating he’s focused on something else now. Matthews tries to ask JBL what it is but JBL doesn’t want to answer Matthews apparently but tells Matthews “Everyone can wait and see but I promise that no one will expect this coming, no one will know what’s happening” JBL walks off staring at the camera looking pissed before he walks out of view.

We cut backstage shortly after this to see Jamie Noble in the locker room tonight before Kid Kash comes walking in. Kash sits down by Noble as Noble is trying to pack his stuff despite not competing tonight. Kash tells Noble that he’s disappointed Noble didn’t even acknowledge him this past Sunday at Judgment Day and that Noble’s win was hard fought. Noble gets up and right into Kash’s face asking Kash if he want another title shot. Noble stares at Kash and Kash says “No, I don’t want another title shot but what I do want, I want an answer from you” Kash starts walking off as Noble looks at him in disgust. The crowd is confused as to what just happened as not much has been revealed in what’s going on between Kash and Noble.

And after the break, we get our tag match pitting Bobby Lashley and Matt Hardy teaming together to fight the duo of Mr. Kennedy and the United States Champion, Booker T. Fun little tag match between both teams and it’s given a little bit of time but not too much seeing as we still have our main event to come tonight. Booker works on Hardy trying to wear down his rival but we see Hardy reaching out to Lashley for the tag. However Booker pulls Hardy back into the ring and we see Booker tag in Kennedy. Kennedy comes in beating down on Hardy and Kennedy slams Hardy quickly down onto the mat. Kennedy makes his way onto the top rope looking for possibly the Kenton Bomb but it’s not as Hardy rolls away with Kennedy colliding with the mat. The fans cheer as Hardy finds himself making his way, looking for a tag and he reaches out, Lashley tags in and here comes Bobby Lashley. Lashley hits Kennedy, then knocks Booker off the ropes as Kennedy comes at Lashley. Lashley looks to slam down Kennedy but Kennedy quickly makes his way into the corner and Booker was up quick bringing in the tag. Booker comes running right into a clothesline from Lashley. Lashley grabs Booker and sends the champion into the ropes with a Irish Whip before coming back into a Back Body Drop. Lashley heads into the corner and runs delivering the Spear taking down Booker. Then Lashley grabs Booker and lifts him into the air delivering the Dominator before Kennedy tries to come in but gets cut off by Hardy. Lashley has the cover, One…Two…Three… and Lashley has pinned the United States Champion tonight. Michael Cole and Tazz announce at ringside that they have received word that next week, Booker T defends his United States title against Bobby Lashley, one on one!

After the match, we cut backstage to see Edge standing by with Steve Romero. Steve gets ready to ask a question but Edge simply budges in and interrupts. Edge says that he doesn’t know why he has to earn another rematch considering he already has one! Edge says that if he loses, he’ll just reuse his rematch clause next week, making the match a Triple Threat. But Edge says that his rematch might not be needed considering he will win tonight.

And after the final break, we come back before our main event which sees Edge, Christian, and Randy Orton all doing battle for the Number One Contendership next week. Edge and Orton end up double-teaming Christian, trying to keep Captain Charisma’s chances of winning low. Also, Kurt Angle is at ringside doing commentary as he is “scouting” his opponent for next week. Edge and Orton lift Christian into the air with a Double Suplex before Edge quickly shows his true colors by stabbing Orton in the back and sending Orton to the outside. Edge gets a quick cover but it’s not enough and Orton comes back into the ring. Orton takes down Edge with a clothesline before looking for an early RKO. However Edge is quick to grab Orton and once again, this time throw him through the middle ropes as Orton lands hard on the outside. Edge stalks Christian, looking possibly for the Spear and he comes charging. The fans are booing the hell out of Edge as he charges but Christian is quick to move and get out of the way of the Spear, which causes Edge to end up colliding with the steel pole! Edge grasps at his shoulder, as he knows he’s in pain right now. Christian doesn’t know Orton is behind him though and Orton makes his way into the ring. Orton starts stalking Christian himself as Christian is too busy staring at Edge looking for the Unprettier but as the fans yell at Christian, he turns around right into an RKO! Orton falls onto the mat and throws his arm right over Christian and the ref falls down to the mat counting the pin, One…Two…Three and it’s over Orton has gained a spot next week. However we see Edge climb out of the ring before heading to the time keeper’s table and grabbing a mic yelling at Angle at the commentator’s table that he will be in the match, via his rematch clause. Edge yells that he will end the fluke reign of Kurt Angle next week and become a two time World-Heavyweight Champion.

Notes: A few comments would be nice, doubt I will return reviews since it's recapped but if you do give a normal review, then I guess I would have to return it. Also, yes I do know if I owe you a review, please don't ask me or say review my PPV, etc. It's the holidays, plus sports and other stuff takes up time. I can't be expected to be on here reviewing shows every day, so please think before you ask like that.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

I'll just leave a few comments. Opening is interesting, we know Orton will win probably tonight since its only for a match next week, that we know he won't win nor anyone else this early in the title reign. The buildup for Sylvan and Hardcore is good, Miz makes his debut I think and it looks good. Batista and Rey continues, this is a good feud that I enjoy. FBI vs Impact Players looks good with that build, Benoit vs Malenko is going to be good as well and good win for Benoit. The Sabu vs Taz is a another great match added to one night stand, and the card is starting to form well it seems. Lashley and Hardy win their match, Next week looks huge with Booker vs Lashley, Angle vs Orton, and Sylvan vs Holly. The show ends great, and Edge vs Orton vs Angle instead. Huge show next week, with two title matchs and that other small feud in a hardcore match. Solid recap, and I didn't have time for a full review, but I don't you'll mind, Merry X Mas Eve bud!
