Default Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

We open up to see the WWE The Power is Back video play across the screen before we cut out and the screen turns black. We suddenly come across a graveyard scene with tombstones being shown before we cut out to see random people walking alone in a graveyard at night.

Narrator: Have you done what you’ve been commanded, the deeds that you’ve done will not matter though for a new day is to come.

Flashing images come across the screen as we see Kurt Angle making his return to the WWE; Angle beating Edge with the Angle Slam is shown as we hear Angle’s voice in the background.

Kurt Angle: Edge, you better be prepared because when I’m done with you, I’ll have two things, your title and your ankle!

We see clips of Edge beating down Angle and Christian on their tag match two weeks ago on Smackdown!

Edge: The era of the Rated R Superstar will continue on and not a damn one of you can stop me from being the greatest World-Heavyweight Champion in the WWE!

We cut back to the narrator with us seeing an electrocution chair before we see clips of a tombstone once again.

Narrator: No matter what life you lived, there will be a day waiting for you.

We see images of Orton and Christian bickering with one another and we finally see Orton deliver the RKO to Christian and pin Christian two weeks ago on Smackdown.

Randy Orton: The peeps can’t help you at Judgment Day Christian and I’ll be proud to take you out with an R…K…O!!!

We see clips of Christian fighting against Orton in the six man tag this week, Christian beats down Orton for a little while before we hear Christian speak.

Christian: The time has come and the peeps are rejoicing Randy, it’s time for Captain Charisma to head to the top because that’s how I Roll!!!

We cut back to the narrator before we see flashing images of the tombstone once again, we cut out and see a shadow of people walking in the dark and their shadows on the ground.

Narrator: And once that day comes, there is no going back, no changing what you’ve done in your past.

We see flashing images of JBL winning the MITB briefcase at WrestleMania and JBL fighting Benoit, JBL is standing on the top ropes before we cut out and hear his voice.

JBL: It’s about time that the Wrestling God heads back to the top, to where he came from and your all looking at your next World-Heavyweight Champion.

We see images of Benoit applying the Crippler Crossface to many opponents and we finally see him with the Crossface on JBL.

Chris Benoit: Judgment Day, this is no joke John, I’ll be glad to make you tap out and regain my World-Heavyweight title!

We cut back to the narrator quickly before he speaks again and once more, an empty graveyard with a tombstone is shown.

Narrator: For whom the bell tolls….

We see images of Batista smashing Rey Mysterio onto a car with a Spinebuster. Security has to hold back Batista but we hear Batista’s voice.

Batista: Rey, you made this personal. You made this and now I’ve got to break you, and I have no trouble doing so at Judgment Day.

We cut out to see Mysterio pinning Batista this week on Smackdown, Rey is celebrating after the match and we hear him speak.

Rey Mysterio: It’s not about the size Dave, it’s about the heart and I’ve got plenty of heart! Just be prepared Dave for the 6…1…9!!!

And we cut out to a cross, which is shown, and we see candles light all around the room with the cross in the middle.

Narrator: The day has come….

We cut out and see Kennedy on the top rope yelling his name aloud.

Ken Kennedy: KENNEDDYYYYYYYY!!!!!

Finally, we see Bobby Lashley beating down Mr. Kennedy and slapping the chair away from Kennedy during this past week’s Smackdown.

Bobby Lashley: You’ve messed with the wrong man Kennedy, you’ve messed with a Pure Athlete and I’m going to run right through you at Judgment Day!

And we cut out to see the graveyard for the last time, suddenly a lighting bolt strikes down and the tombstone is shown once more with lighting striking down once again.

Narrator: The day of Judgment is upon us…

Narrator: Welcome to Judgment Day!!!

Right as Judgment Day is said, the pyro sets off in the arena and we cut over to see the stage set up as last year’s Judgment Day was with the planet and the words Judgment Day written on it popping out as it’s “on fire” We scan across the arena and see signs from the fans before we cut over to the commentating team at ringside.

Michael Cole: Hello everybody and tonight, we want to welcome you to Judgment Day 2006 and this is going to be a major night.

Tazz: So many major matches Cole, Bobby Lashley meets Mr. Kennedy, London and Kendrick defend their titles and so much more.

Michael Cole: And probably the most personal and intense feud continues tonight whenever Batista meets Rey Mysterio one on one!

Tazz: Plus the main event, a major Six Pack Challenge Elimination Match with the World-Heavyweight title on the line, all this tonight!

Snapshot hits and down comes MNM with Melina! The red carpet is rolled out and the Paparazzi are snapping the pictures. Mercury and Nitro come down to the ring, and then watch Melina climb in before sliding in themselves. Mercury and Nitro walk around waiting for their opponents to come on down into the ring for the match.

Tony Chimmel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first from Los Angeles, California, the team of Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro, MNM!!!

We’re Not Mexican…We’re Mexicool! Hits and down comes the Mexicools on their Juan Deere’s. Juventud leads the way for Psicosis and Super Crazy as they all park the Juan Deere’s in front of the ring. Psicosis and Super Crazy slide into the ring and look ready to go at MNM but first introductions have to be made.

Tony Chimmel: And their opponents, from Mexico, being accompanied to the ring by Juventud, they are the team of Psicosis and Super Crazy, the Mexicools!

Match #1
MNM vs. The Mexicools

Nitro and Psicosis agree to start off this tag team grudge match and the ref rings the bell. Nitro and Psicosis circle the ring as Melina lets out a loud scream. Nitro smiles as he then heads towards the middle and locks up with Psicosis. Nitro gets Psicosis in the corner as he elbows Psicosis hard in the head. Nitro leans against Psicosis and sends the Luchadore into the opposing ropes. Psicosis comes back at Nitro as Nitro throws Psicosis into the air for a Back Body Drop! However Psicosis lands on his feet, then grabs the neck of Nitro and drives it into the mat hard with a Neck Breaker and the match is in favor of the Mexicools early on.

Psicosis watches as Nitro starts to slowly recover and he tries heading towards Mercury but Psicosis runs across the ring quickly before he can. Psicosis jumps and delivers a huge dropkick right to the head of Nitro as Nitro falls down to the mat. Psicosis gets Nitro back onto his feet and brings Nitro over into the corner. Psicosis tags in Super Crazy who leaps onto the top rope, then jumps right off instantly with a huge Hilo. Super Crazy rolls back over and flips back onto his feet as the fans start cheering for the Mexican Luchadore. Super Crazy then heads towards the corner looking as if he’s heading towards the top rope.

However, Mercury runs along the ropes and hits Super Crazy as he’s about to climb up, which the ref sees and warns Mercury not to do again. The ref has been thrown off to which Nitro grabs Super Crazy and pushes him into the turnbuckle hard stomach first. Nitro rolls over and starts heading towards Mercury for a cover as he’s struggling right now and needs out. The fans are getting behind Super Crazy though trying to get the Insane Luchadore back into the match and maybe have a chance at gaining a win for his team early on.

Nitro reaches out and makes the tag bringing in his partner Mercury as Mercury comes in but first runs off the ropes. Mercury leaps right into the air and drops a knee across the throat of Super Crazy, which causes Super Crazy to roll around for a little. He looks as if he’s been dazed early on and this could make a difference. Mercury gets back up wasting no time as he gets Super Crazy back onto his feet as well. Mercury seems to be going for some type of Powerbomb of the like but Super Crazy reverses into a Hurricanrana! The fans cheer on as Super Crazy keeps a cradle and the ref drops to the mat for the first pin.

One….

Tw….

Super Crazy watches as Mercury pushes him off of his body. Super Crazy starts heading towards Psicosis for a tag but before he can get a chance to tag in, Mercury reaches out and grabs the leg of Super Crazy pulling the luchadore back into the middle of the ring. Things aren’t looking well right now for the team of the Mexicools as Mercury drags Super Crazy over in the corner and makes the tag into Nitro. Nitro comes in the ring, then drops down and spins around delivering a Break dance Leg Drop! Nitro pops back onto his feet and raises his hands into the air as the fans start to boo the hell out of the former one half of tag champions. Nitro heads right back over to Super Crazy seeming as if he’s about to wear down Super Crazy.

Nitro grabs Super Crazy and applies a headlock looking to keep the champion grounded and down for a little while in the ring. Nitro’s going to have to find a way to stop the momentum of Super Crazy, and he continues to elbow Nitro in the gut. Super Crazy continues to elbow Nitro but he finally breaks free. Super Crazy comes at Nitro and charges with a huge Cross body taking down Nitro and the ref drops down for the cover. Super Crazy could take an early and quick win over Nitro and his partner Mercury tonight?

One….

Two….

Nitro kicks out with force showing that it won’t be that easy if they plan on beating MNM tonight and showing their dominance. Super Crazy heads towards Psicosis looking for the hot tag but at the last moment, Nitro grabs the foot of Super Crazy. Super Crazy is limping on one leg, then jumps into the air and takes down Nitro with an Enziguri. Super Crazy leaps towards the ropes and makes the tag bringing in Psicosis! The fans are getting behind the Mexicools now as their dominance is starting to show in the match.

Psicosis leaps onto the top rope quickly taking down Nitro with a Springboard Dropkick! Nitro rolls onto the mat while Mercury comes in. Psicosis ducks a clothesline from Mercury, and then kicks Mercury in the gut hard before dropping Mercury with a DDT! The fans see that Nitro is now on the outside and Mercury rolls to the outside also. Psicosis and Super Crazy look at one another and get an idea as Psicosis and Super Crazy both run at the same time and leap over the ropes to the outside taking down both Mercury and Nitro with Planchas! The fans go wild, as the first highflying move of the night has just taken place!

Psicosis and Super Crazy have no trouble getting up seeing as they landed right on both Mercury and Nitro respectively which could help the Mexicools right now. Psicosis is the legal man and he brings in Nitro to the ring while Super Crazy heads back to his side. Melina is helping Mercury on the outside right now while Juvy looks on from the outside. Psicosis climbs onto the top rope, then leaps off the ropes going for a Diving Leg Drop but right at the last moment, Nitro rolls away. Nitro however finds the energy he needs and throws a hand over Psicosis.

Things aren’t looking well right now for MNM as they can’t catch a break and this could be the downfall of the outcome of the match. Both teams are showing they’re title contenders and worthy of holding the titles. Nitro starts heading towards Mercury looking for the fresh tag and apparently Psicosis has the same thing in mind right now. Psicosis starts crawling towards Super Crazy looking for a desperation tag and Nitro makes the tag to Mercury. Right as this is answered by the tag from Nitro to Mercury, Psicosis makes a tag bringing in Super Crazy. Super Crazy leaps right over the ropes causing Mercury to fall back.

Super Crazy gets Mercury and throws the one half of MNM against the ropes. Mercury comes right back at Super Crazy who spins around and delivers the Spinning Heel Kick driving his foot into the face of Mercury. Super Crazy leaps back onto his feet and gets Mercury back onto his feet as well before leaning on Mercury, then throwing Mercury into the corner. Super Crazy comes charging and drives a huge force with him as he smashes Mercury in the corner with a huge clothesline and the tide seems to be turning to the Mexicool’s favor.

Super Crazy grabs Mercury’s head and brings him right down into the mat face first with a huge Running Bulldog and now this could be Super Crazy’s time! Super Crazy finds himself heading towards the top rope as he’s looking to find a break but he notices Melina and doesn’t want to head over there right now. Melina seems to be distracting Super Crazy but he turns around and notices Mercury coming at him. Super Crazy side steps Mercury, and then follows through by spinning Mercury around and dropping Mercury with a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker as the back of Mercury connects hard with Super Crazy’s knee. Super Crazy falls onto Mercury for the win?

One….

Two….

Thr….

Super Crazy can’t believe it, as he was pretty sure the match seemed to be in his favor now but he really can’t believe this. Super Crazy doesn’t waste time though as he brings Mercury into his corner and makes the tag bringing in Psicosis. Psicosis gets into the ring, and follows through by sending Mercury into the opposing turnbuckle. Psicosis comes charging at Mercury but Nitro pushes Mercury away causing Psicosis to collide with the turnbuckle. Smart thinking done by Nitro of MNM and the match has changed tides once again.

Melina lets out a loud scream as her boys are getting back into it now and she really is enjoying the fact of the matter now. Mercury walks right into a tag from Nitro, which he doesn’t oblige to or seem surprised since he has taken a beating the past few moments. Nitro gets into the ring and taunts showing no remorse for Psicosis right now. Nitro grabs Psicosis and throws his head off the turnbuckle showing he really doesn’t care about Psicosis. Nitro then follows through by grabbing Psicosis and sending him into the turnbuckle.

Psicosis comes running back at Nitro but he ducks Nitro’s clothesline attempt, then leaps onto the middle rope for a Springboard Moonsault but Nitro with his quick instincts catches Psicosis and plants Psicosis with a Pump Handle Slam. The fans watch as Melina distracts the ref, which lets Mercury get into the ring. Could the Snapshot be coming soon? Mercury grabs Psicosis looking for the Snapshot but from behind comes Juventud. Juventud grabs the illegal man in Mercury and kicks him in the gut, then plants Mercury with the Juvy Driver! Juventud isn’t going to let his team not win the match tonight.

The fans cheer as Juventud slides to the outside as Psicosis spins Nitro around and drops Nitro with a Headscissors Takedown. Mercury rolls to the outside as Psicosis throws Nitro into the corner, then raises his hand and makes the tag bringing in his partner, Super Crazy. Super Crazy comes in and Psicosis and Super Crazy double team on Nitro. Both Psicosis and Super Crazy lift Nitro into the air, and then drop him down onto the mat with authority with a Inverted Suplex. The fans cheer as Super Crazy heads towards the top rope. Super Crazy sets himself up before he leaps off the ropes with the Moonsault! Crazy rolls Nitro over for the cover.

WAIT! No three count as Melina has placed the foot of Nitro on the bottom rope causing the match to continue on, as the ref didn’t see it. The fans are going insane now knowing that that could have been the only chance the Mexicools had to win but it was ruined by Melina. Super Crazy rolls over looking at the referee in disbelief. The fans really though the match was won and the ref tells Super Crazy that no, it was a two count. Super Crazy looks to head back towards the top rope looking for possibly another Moonsault maybe sealing the win for his team?

Super Crazy sets himself up on the top rope and he has no clue that the tag was made into Mercury. Super Crazy looks to leap off the ropes but from behind comes Mercury. Mercury and Nitro both grab Super Crazy off the ropes, and then drop Super Crazy down onto the mat with a belly to back suplex as Super Crazy connects with the mat hard. Nitro tells Mercury to make a cover just to see if they can win it now and Mercury does follow through by making the cover. The ref drops down and maybe for the winning pin fall?

Much has been taken out of Super Crazy of the Mexicools tonight but it doesn’t seem as if it has been enough so far. Nitro gets Super Crazy back onto his feet and we see Nitro send Super Crazy across the ring. Super Crazy ducks a clothesline attempt from Nitro but Melina grabs the foot of Super Crazy causing him to fall. Super Crazy leans over the ropes looking at Melina but Juventud decides to chase Melina across the ring. Mercury is hiding on the other side of the ring when Juventud comes running right into a brutal clothesline from the champion. Meanwhile, in the ring Super Crazy gets taken down with a Superkick!

The ref is trying to regain order while Melina is looking on watching as the match is back in her boy’s favor now. Mercury sneaks behind Psicosis who’s standing on the apron on the outside and pulls Psicosis down causing Psicosis to hit the apron hard and be down and out for now. Mercury slides into the ring looking to take advantage as Nitro calls for the Snapshot! Nitro and Mercury both lift Super Crazy up, and then follow through by bringing Super Crazy down into the mat hard with the Snapshot! The fans are booing wildly as Mercury slides to the outside of the ring and Nitro gets the cover on Super Crazy. The ref begins the count and could this be it?

Tony Chimmel: Here are your winners…MNM!!!

Match Length: 11 Minutes, 2 Seconds

Michael Cole: And the former WWE Tag Champs gain the win to kick off the show and it certainly was a great match as expected.

Tazz: It truly was Cole and really, I’ve seen great tag wrestling before but I’ve got to believe that this beats some of those matches!

Michael Cole: That’s because this is Smackdown and we’re the number one brand in sports-entertainment today!

Tazz: No doubt Cole but we’ve still got some major matches ahead of us and right now, let’s head backstage and see what’s going on.

We cut backstage to see Josh Matthews standing by with Sylvan.

Josh Matthews: Sylvan, tonight you won’t be in action but we understand you have a challenge to issue this week for Smackdown?

Sylvan: Josh, this is right and being myself, since I’m from Quebec and we’re here in the United States, something seems strange as to why I don’t have a match tonight? It seems funny and is it because the Americans are racist towards us French because they are jealous of our looks, of our heritage, what is it?

Josh Matthews: Sylvan, now we heard you have a challenge what does this challenge happen to be for on Smackdown?

Sylvan: This challenge is for me, Sylvan, the Ambassador at Large of Quebec, to finally rid someone of Smackdown, this happens to be to any American, to anybody that thinks they pose a challenge to this great Quebecer right here and if they feel, they have a chance at actually beating the Ambassador at Large.

Josh Matthews: So, you’ve seemed to have troubles with Hardcore Holly the past few weeks, what do you think about him?

Sylvan: Hardcore Holly is like any other typical American, all in it for themselves. That’s why I’m inviting you all in this terrible town of Kansas City to come join me, Sylvan in the wonderful isle of tranquility, Quebec! Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Sylvan walks off carrying the Quebec flag before we cut back down to ringside ready for our next match.

Michael Cole: It’s been a nice start to the show but some rather rude comments from Sylvan towards these American people.

Tazz: It wasn’t very smart on Sylvan’s part seeing as there are many people waiting backstage to shut his mouth.

Michael Cole: True but right now, we’ve got our first championship match coming up and really, this is going to be a great one.

Tazz: Chavo made his return to Smackdown two weeks ago whenever he won a Battle Royal and tonight, he could win the title, we’ll see.

Trailer Park Trash hits and down comes the Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble! Noble’s holding the title in the air high as the fans cheer him on. Noble slides into the ring and celebrates with the fans before climbing the turnbuckle and throwing it over his shoulders. He looks around the arena and jumps down onto the mat looking around.

Tony Chimmel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship! From Hanover, West Virginia weighing in at 202 pounds, he is the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble!!!

OOOOH Chavo! Hits across the arena and out comes Chavo Guerrero to loud boos! The fans are booing Guerrero as he comes down to the ring and slides in before climbing to the top rope and raising his hands up taunting the fans. Guerrero jumps down looking at Noble now as the fans are getting behind Noble.

Tony Chimmel: And the challenger, from El Paso, Texas weighing in at 210 pounds, he is Chavo Guerrero!!!

Match #2
Cruiserweight Championship
Jamie Noble © vs. Chavo Guerrero

Guerrero and Noble lock up in the middle of the ring as the bell rings to signal the beginning of the match up. Guerrero backs Noble into the corner and goes to elbow him but Noble moves quickly showing that’s he’s not going to be out played tonight. Guerrero comes running at Noble but Noble responds quickly taking Guerrero down with a shoulder toss. Noble keeps the arm locked in as Guerrero starts to get up. Guerrero runs Noble off the ropes before Guerrero comes back after breaking the hold running right into a huge knee from Noble. Noble then grabs Guerrero and sends him running into the turnbuckle.

Noble sees now is his time as he comes charging at Guerrero in the corner. Guerrero responds quickly though throwing Noble out of the ring but Noble catches his balance landing on his feet on the apron. Guerrero runs at Noble and tries to knock him off the apron with a shot to the stomach with his head but Noble blocks it, then leaps right over the ropes taking down Guerrero with a huge Senton Bomb! The fans cheer as Noble keeps the hold in and he’s got a pin fall, this could be over early on and right now!

One…

Tw…

Noble watches as Guerrero kicks out of the move before his own eyes! Noble rolls away trying to buy some time to find a chance to recover. Noble gets right back onto his feet and heads back towards his opponent in Chavo Guerrero. Guerrero comes back quickly though driving an elbow straight into the chest of Noble as Noble jumps back. Noble comes back a minute after and comes right back into another elbow. Noble decides to come charging this time but Guerrero gets one up on Noble as he trips the Cruiserweight Champion face first right into the mat.

Guerrero runs towards Noble and spins around grabbing the head of Noble applying a headlock while Noble lay on the mat. Guerrero starts to squeeze away at the head of Noble trying to wear down the champion so just maybe Guerrero can take the win. However, Noble starts to get back up and starts to get the fans behind him. Noble elbows Guerrero right in the gut as he’s trying his best to force Guerrero to break the hold. Noble gets back up and pushes Guerrero into the ropes but Noble comes running right back into a huge dropkick from the challenger in Chavo Guerrero as Noble falls right down onto the mat.

Guerrero leaps back onto his feet as the fans boo him but Guerrero simply ignores them showing that he really doesn’t care anymore about the fans. Guerrero gets Noble up off the mat rather slow and cocky but Noble still is down and out for now. Guerrero kicks Noble hard in the gut, and then lifts the champion into the air. Guerrero keeps Noble in the air for now letting the blood rush to the head and possibly wear down Noble even more than he is right now. The fans boo Guerrero as he’s really starting to get into the heads of the fans. Guerrero brings Noble crashing down onto the mat completing the Delayed Suplex. Guerrero throws Noble over and makes the cover.

One….

Two….

Noble takes what he has left of him and kicks out. Guerrero looks up at the referee and slaps his hands telling him that was three. The ref tells him two and Guerrero looks disappointed but gets back up and heads towards Noble. Guerrero gets Noble up in the corner and gives Noble a hard European Uppercut straight to the chin of Noble. Noble grabs his chin as Guerrero pushes against Noble, then sends him into the turnbuckles with force. Guerrero comes charging at Noble looking for a Spear in the corner but Noble moves and Guerrero’s shoulder collides hitting the steel pole hard as Noble falls down onto the mat catching a break for now.

The fans start to cheer on Noble now as the champion rolls over on the mat still feeling the effects apparently of the early goings of the match so far. Noble rolls back over onto his stomach and starts heading towards the ropes to pull himself up. Noble heads right back towards Guerrero and gets the challenger back onto his feet. Guerrero tries to fight Noble off but Noble quickly gets Guerrero and sends him into the ropes. Guerrero comes charging and runs right into a knee from Noble which brings Guerrero down onto the mat and Noble is back in it.

Noble grabs Guerrero once more and gets him back onto his feet once again. This time Noble sends Guerrero once more into the ropes and Guerrero charges at Noble as Noble tries to catch Guerrero. However Guerrero slides off the shoulders of Noble, then Guerrero grabs Noble and follows through with a huge Belly to Back Suplex bringing Noble down onto the mat as Guerrero rolls around holding his back for a little bit. Guerrero doesn’t waste too much time though as he leaps onto Noble for another elementary cover.

One….

Two….

Nothing can be done for Guerrero right now as he is trying anything and everything he can to try and find a way to beat Noble but it’s not working. Guerrero grabs Noble and throws the champion into the corner. Guerrero comes charging at Noble right in the corner and pushes Noble into the corner hard with a huge Clothesline. Guerrero moves Noble and climbs onto the middle rope and throws Noble between his arm, then swings off the ropes and drives Noble’s head right into the mat with a huge Tornado DDT! Guerrero decides not to cover Noble but instead to try and recover from the moves he has taken and given the past few moments.

Guerrero heads into the corner as he sits in the turnbuckles waiting for Noble, he may have hurt his chances of winning now. Guerrero climbs onto the top rope seeming as if he is about to jump off the top rope but he’s waiting for Noble. Guerrero tries to gain his balance but Noble runs right up the ropes as Guerrero has wasted a few minutes. Noble then grabs Guerrero and with amazing agility, grabs the challenger and brings him down to the mat with a huge Belly to Belly Superplex as Guerrero lands hard on the mat and Noble clutches his back! The fans are cheering as this match is really starting to pick up now.

Noble has been showing his technical side tonight and why he’s one of the greatest and longest Cruiserweight champions of time right now. Noble starts etching towards the ropes trying to pull himself up while Guerrero lie in the middle of the ring. Noble starts to pull himself up and it seems apparent the champion has something on his mind as he starts pulling himself up on the turnbuckles. He’s still worn down though from the Superplex which is showing as he’s having trouble standing right now on the ropes. At this time though, Guerrero grabs the ropes and shakes them but Guerrero’s still on the mat. Noble falls down onto the turnbuckle hitting his crown jewels, then falls onto the mat hard!

The match is seeming to take a sudden turn now as Guerrero still lays on the mat and he could very well be heading towards victory lane right now for the title. Guerrero’s slowly heading towards the turnbuckles himself seeming as if he’s looking to hurry up and finish off the match giving himself a chance to win the title. Guerrero pulls himself up in the corner waiting and watching Noble but he starts to charge at the champion in the corner. However Noble quickly moves as Guerrero gets tripped face first right into the bottom turnbuckle. This move certainly should give and help Jamie Noble as this could be anyone’s game now.

Noble has some trouble getting back up though but he does as he grabs the challenger and throws the challenger into the ropes, Guerrero ducks Noble and kicks Noble in the gut before sending the champion off the ropes! Noble comes running right back at Guerrero which Guerrero quickly catches the champion, then spins him around completing the Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker as Noble rolls around clutching his back in pain! The fans cheer on Noble as Guerrero reaches onto Guerrero and covers the champion hoping for a chance to gain the pin fall.

Guerrero looks at the referee in disbelief thinking for sure the match up should have been his but the ref tells him no! Guerrero doesn’t argue for too long as he heads toward Noble and gets the champion back onto his feet. Guerrero kicks noble in the gut as Guerrero follows through with the first of the Three Amigos! The fans watch as Guerrero pops the hips and follows through delivering the second of the Three Amigos. Guerrero finally rolls over and pops the hips for the third and final time following through with the Three Amigos as Guerrero heads towards the top looking as if he’s about to end the match.

Guerrero slowly makes his way over to the corner as he sets himself up taking his time heading towards the top rope. Guerrero looks around before he leaps right off the top rope looking for the Frog Splash! Noble rolls off though which means Guerrero collides with the mat hard as the fans cheer for Noble as he could get back into it. Noble starts rolling off towards the corner as he’s trying to pull himself back up into it and possibly back into the match. The fans cheer on their champion as Noble slowly heads towards the ropes and pulls himself up. Noble gets himself up in the ropes and slowly gets himself back up and into it.

Noble heads right back to the middle of the ring and gets Guerrero onto his feet. Guerrero quickly kicks Noble acting as if he was down and out but he wasn’t. Guerrero throws Noble onto his back looking around the arena for the Gory Bomb! The fans boo as this could spell the ending of Noble’s reign but Noble somehow finds a way and slides off the back of Guerrero! Noble then spins around the challenger and kicks him right in the gut. The champion, Jamie Noble lifts Guerrero into the air and drives Guerrero’s head into the mat with a huge Tiger Driver! The fans go wild as Noble quickly covers Guerrero for the win? The fans cheer on Noble for every ounce of energy he can muster up to reach out and gain the win. Noble finally makes it over and throws a shoulder over the body of Guerrero, could this be it?

Tony Chimmel: Here is your winner and STILL Cruiserweight Champion…Jamie Noble!!!

Match Length: 9 Minutes, 7 Seconds

Noble grabs his Cruiserweight Championship from the referee and starts to celebrate when down comes Kid Kash to the ramp. We see Kash on the ramp clapping and applauding Jamie Noble as Noble looks on in disgust. Kash smiles at Noble before heading to the back and we cut over to the commentating team.

Michael Cole: What the hell is going on between Jamie Noble and Kid Kash, I’m really wanting to know what’s happening.

Tazz: I don’t think Noble wants anything to do with Kash but it seems that Kash is forcing himself into this situation.

Michael Cole: Rather strange to see Kash, Noble’s bitter enemy and former friend applaud Noble after his match.

Tazz: It certainly was but Noble did pull out a good win and you’ve got to give him the credit for that great match, too.

We cut out to a black screen before suddenly, Let the Bodies Hit the Floor plays from Drowning Pool, across the screen comes highlights from last year’s One Night Stand.

Narrator: Last year, ECW made its return when it invaded the entire city of New York and the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Clips of the Hammerstein Ballroom are shown as the camera is scanning across the empty arena with shots of New York City thrown in.

We cut back over to the commentating team at ringside.

Michael Cole: Damn it! Mr. Kennedy cheated once again just so he could beat Bobby Lashley, how am I not surprised?

Tazz: It was a great match and all credit due to Bobby Lashley but really, this match just happened to be Mr. Kennedy’s.

Michael Cole: Only because he cheated, remember that because if not, Bobby Lashley would have ended up winning the match.

Tazz: We’re not sure of that, we can’t go back and change what happened so how do you know Lashley would have won?

We cut backstage to see Paul Heyman, ECW representative walking around before he walks to the office of Theodore Long. Heyman knocks on the door before walking in.

Paul Heyman: Mr. Long, I’m Paul Heyman and I’m the ECW representative, anyways how is your day today?

Theodore Long: Fine playa and nice to see you here tonight in Kansas City.

Paul Heyman: I was watching and I’ve seen some great matches tonight but something I’ve noticed is that I’ve seen a few ECW alumni and well, you know, I have a huge ECW promotion set up for this week and well, I wanted to pitch that idea to you, I’m sure you’ll like it and of course, it’s going to be the greatest part of Smackdown this week!

Theodore Long: Well I don’t know about that playa but go ahead and tell me.

Paul Heyman: I’m going to bring over some of the top names from the original ECW, some of the key players back when ECW started and I’m going to be issuing an Extreme Rules Match to anyone backstage that wants to challenge any of the ECW Originals. And trust me, anyone insane enough to step into the ring with an ECW original will need some help after the match when it’s all said and done because in ECW, we’re balls to the wall!

Theodore Long: Look, I’m glad your doing this Paul and playa, it’s going to be cool to see you on Smackdown and trust me, I’ve got some superstars ready to take your challenge playa.

Paul Heyman: And another thing Teddy, I’m pretty sure that whenever ECW invades the Hammerstein Ballroom again, that you can be guaranteed your going to see a great show and nothing against your Smackdown superstars and Judgment Day tonight but I can see my ECW originals easily topping Judgment Day.

Theodore Long: Well that’s nice playa and thanks for dropping by tonight, I’ll see you on Friday night, right dog?

Paul Heyman: That’s right Teddy and thanks, I know you won’t regret this.

Heyman walks off smiling as he’s getting more hype towards One Night Stand with this open challenge he just issued. We see Heyman walking down the corridor before we cut back into the commentating team at ringside.

Michael Cole: Well this week’s Smackdown is going to be huge right now with two matches already announced.

Tazz: And both are open challenges. Sylvan has challenged any American while Paul Heyman just challenged any Smackdown superstar to fight an ECW original.

Michael Cole: I’m sure someone from Smackdown can easily take down someone from ECW and that’s pretty sure.

Tazz: Whoa, you dissing ECW now Cole? Remember that is my roots and if you try to get cocky with me, I’ll ha…

Michael Cole: Oh be quiet!

Rey comes charging after Batista but with the amazing strength the Animal possesses, he simply pushes Rey off into the corner. Rey falls backwards into the corner staring at Batista wondering what he’s going to have to do to take the Animal off his feet. Batista continues jumping up and down again before staring at Rey with a possessed look.

Rey comes charging once again at Batista but Batista knocks down Rey with a quick big boot bringing the former United States Champion down onto the mat. Batista grabs Rey and picks Mysterio back up before sending Mysterio into the ropes. Mysterio comes charging right back at Batista but Batista grabs Mysterio and catapults Mysterio into the air with a Back Body Drop sending Mysterio down onto the mat hard. It seems as if right now it’s going to be all Batista early on in the beginnings of the match, which Mysterio needs to try and find a way to counter if he wants to stay alive in this match up.

Rey pulls himself over towards the ropes and looks like he’s heading to the outside as he climbs onto the apron on the outside of the ring. Rey watches Batista turn around and Rey head butts Batista through the ropes. Rey tries to flip over Batista but Batista doesn’t budge and simply pushes Mysterio off the ropes to the outside. Batista looks down at Mysterio as Mysterio has fallen to the mat below hard and the match has taken a turn for the worse for Mysterio. Batista slowly makes his way out of the ring to the outside where it seems as if this could be the part where Batista tries to slowly but surely take apart Mysterio.

Batista walks over and grabs Mysterio up off the mat on the outside and grabs Mysterio before whip lashing Mysterio into the barricade. Batista taunts Mysterio before walking over to the Luchadore and grabbing Mysterio and holding him in the air. Batista lets go of Mysterio sending the much smaller man hard on the barricade and Mysterio falls down to the mat holding his ribs, which are taped up from his attack from Batista two weeks ago on Smackdown. Mysterio is holding his ribs in pain still as Batista grabs Mysterio and sends the former United States Champion into the ring. Batista follows through and throws Mysterio over before making the first cover of the match.

It’s apparent that even though Batista is severely working and taking down Mysterio that it’s going to take a lot more to keep Mysterio down. Batista walks back over to Mysterio and pulls Mysterio up off the mat before sending Mysterio hard into the corner turnbuckles. Batista heads to his area of the turnbuckles before Batista comes charging at Mysterio. However, Mysterio does get a boot up which Batista runs right into and now Mysterio could have a chance to capitalize. Mysterio dropkicks the back of the knee of Batista which causes the Animal to go down on one knee as he grasps the other knee in pain right now after the vicious dropkick from Mysterio.

Mysterio runs around Batista trying to take down Batista even more with punches and repeated kicks but Batista simply shoves Mysterio away. Mysterio falls backwards and right now it’s not looking too well for the former United States Champion. Mysterio comes right back over to Batista and Batista goes for a Clothesline onto Mysterio. However Mysterio ducks the clothesline and dropkicks the same knee of Batista’s he dropkicked earlier. Mysterio leaps into the air delivering an Enziguri taking down Batista and bringing the Animal down onto the mat! Mysterio has finally put Batista down and he leaps onto Batista for a cover.

Batista shoves Mysterio off of him with a force sending Mysterio flying. Mysterio doesn’t back down though as he walks right back over to Batista and beats down on the back of Batista. Mysterio looks as if he’s going to continue and try to keep Batista down on the mat but Batista shoves Mysterio off once more. Mysterio doesn’t worry as he comes back and baseball slide kicks Batista to the outside of the ring and Batista lands hard on the mat on the outside. Mysterio looks down at Batista as Mysterio is doing literally anything and everything he can do to try and keep Batista down on the mat right now and it seems to be working.

Mysterio watches as Batista is down on the outside and Mysterio slowly makes his way over into the corner to the top turnbuckle. Batista starts to pull himself up on the outside using the apron but Batista walks backwards as if he’s heading to the ramp. He has no clue Mysterio is standing on the top rope and as soon as Batista turns around, Mysterio goes air-borne delivering a huge Crossbody knocking down Batista on the outside and with the momentum and height that Mysterio got, Batista had no chance of being able to catch Mysterio and stay on his feet. The fans start Holy Shit chants for the height that Mysterio got and Mysterio is rolling around, as he’s able to move since Batista caught him and Mysterio didn’t land wrong or awkward.

Mysterio starts trying to crawl back into the ring and it seems that the former United States Champion wants to try and capitalize off the major move he just pulled off. Mysterio is crawling towards the apron trying to pull himself up and the fans are on the outside cheering for Mysterio and trying to get the fan favorite back into the match. Mysterio pulls himself up on the apron and slides into the ring rolling around and Mysterio looks to pull himself up. We see Batista slowly but surely starting to recover and it seems Batista couldn’t be too out of it right now despite the major risk taking move Mysterio just delivered to Batista.

Mysterio has pulled himself up on the ropes and awaits his much larger opponent in Batista to try and make his way into the ring. Batista starts to slowly make his way onto the apron and we see Mysterio swing himself through the ropes looking for a dropkick to knock Batista down but Mysterio gets caught by Batista and slammed down hard to the mat on the outside. Batista grabs Mysterio up off the mat and throws the much smaller Mysterio into the ring before Batista slides into the ring himself looking to capitalize. Batista rolls Mysterio over and hooks the leg of Mysterio trying to assure himself a win but will it happen for the Animal?

Batista doesn’t get the three count as Mysterio is quick to get a shoulder up meaning the match must continue on and Batista can’t do anything about it. Batista gets back onto his feet shown being angered as he thought he could have had the match won. Batista pulls Mysterio up off the mat toying and playing with Mysterio taunting the much smaller man in the match up. Batista grabs Mysterio and lifts Mysterio up in the air high in a Bear hug position before Batista starts squeezing the life out of Mysterio. Batista follows through by throwing Mysterio into the turnbuckle hard back first as Mysterio clutches his back in the agony and pain he is in right now.

Mysterio continues clutching at his back as Batista simply walks back a few steps before running forward and clotheslining Mysterio into the corner turnbuckle hard. Batista watches as Mysterio falls down onto the mat hard and it doesn’t seem like Mysterio is going to be able to continue on for too much longer here tonight. The beginning of the match certainly has taken a toll on how Mysterio is going to continue on later on during the match. Batista starts heading towards the turnbuckles himself, something pretty rare from the Animal as Mysterio continues to lie on the mat down and out it seems from the beginnings of the match.

Batista pulls himself up on the ropes and looks down at Mysterio and sees Mysterio is still on the mat below him and fans are wondering what Batista is planning to do. Batista looks back down at Mysterio looking for some type of high impact move, which of course happens to be pretty rare from Batista as Batista is a big man. Batista looks ready to take flight but Mysterio who is still down on the mat kicks the ropes and causes Batista to fall right on his crowned jewels. Batista lands hard on the turnbuckle as he grasps them and Mysterio seems as if he’s going to capitalize in the match up, now could very well be his time to do so.

Mysterio watches as Batista falls from the turnbuckle and down onto the mat, and now it seems time that Mysterio can finally capitalize on what he’s been trying to do the entire match, take down Batista and wear him out somehow and someway. Mysterio walks over to Batista and starts kicking Batista in the back and the gut before Mysterio charges off the ropes and comes charging right back at Batista! Mysterio jumps right over Batista before bouncing off the ropes facing Batista and delivering a huge dropkick right to the face of Batista as Batista is still down on the mat and the match seems to be finally turning towards Mysterio’s favor as Batista has shown a lot of dominance earlier on tonight during the match. Mysterio throws Batista’s arm over for a quick cover.

Mysterio looks up at the ref as in disbelief thinking for sure the count could have at least been quicker and now, Mysterio goes back to work on Batista. Mysterio grabs Batista off the ropes and needs to do something. Batista grabs Mysterio and whiplashes the much smaller Mysterio into the ropes before Mysterio stops himself and leaps onto the middle rope. Mysterio jumps right back on Batista with a Springboard Crossbody but the Animal is quick to catch Mysterio in a PumpHandle Slam position. Batista tries to go for a PumpHandle Slam but Mysterio quickly slides off the shoulders of Batista and dropkicks Batista into the ropes. Batista lands face first and this could be the ending coming for Batista. Could we be seeing Mysterio looking for the 619 early on and could Mysterio deliver the finishing move.

Mysterio runs and charges at Batista before swinging through the ropes looking for the 619 but quickly as possible, the Animal moves out of the way of the 619 keeping himself alive in the match up as long as he can right now. Batista has his back turned to Mysterio who caught his balance on the ropes and Batista turns quickly around to see Mysterio. Mysterio leaps onto the top rope and jumps at Batista for a flying clothesline but Batista quickly catches Mysterio in mid air and brings the former United States Champion, Mysterio, crashing down into the mat with a Spinebuster! Holy shit chants break out across the arena and it seems as if this could be the beginning of the ending for everyone’s fan favorite in Mysterio. Batista rolls Mysterio over and has the cover.

Mysterio gets his foot on the bottom rope and the fans are in shock as they though entirely that Batista was walking away with the win. Batista heads into the corner looking for the Spear, which could be the crowning moment, and he could finally walk away with the win here. Batista looks set and ready for the Spear but Mysterio isn’t up. Batista walks over and stands Mysterio up and it seems Mysterio literally has nothing as it looks like he’s about to fall down on the mat but Batista quickly charges across the ring for the Spear and Mysterio falls down to the mat, Batista can’t stop with the momentum he has and he connects hard with his shoulder landing hard into the turnbuckle, the fans cheer as Mysterio needs to try and find a way to capitalize all while trying to recover from the devastating Spinebuster he took earlier on.

Mysterio looks back over at his opponent lying down in the ring as Batista got out of the corner turnbuckle and stumbled back before falling close to the middle of the ring. Suddenly Rey gets an idea as Rey heads over to the apron on the outside and it seems Rey is looking to take another form of risk to keep Batista down on the mat. Rey walks over to the ropes hobbling as he still seems to be in some pain from the Spinebuster he received not too long ago and the effects certainly are taking a toll on Mysterio. Mysterio pulls himself over to the apron and hurriedly leaps over the ropes before delivering a Hilo landing hard on the sternum of Batista! The fans cheer as Mysterio stands up after rolling around for a little bit before heading over into the corner and now it seems Mysterio wants to go ahead and end the match.

Mysterio starts making his way over to the top ropes and it seems like this could be where Mysterio is going to try and finish off Batista right here and now. Mysterio pulls himself up on the ropes and looks back down at Batista wanting to make sure the Animal is still down and out in the middle of the ring right now from the Hilo. Mysterio looks back down at Batista before leaping into the air and landing and connecting with the Frog Splash! Mysterio rolls off Batista for a second but quickly jumps right back onto his opponent being the much larger man in this contest and this could very well be it for Batista and the win could go to Mysterio.

Batista throws his shoulder up causing the fans to boo the hell out of Batista and Rey looks down not believing Batista did just kick out of the Frog Splash. Mysterio looks as if he’s going to go rampant and he’s wondering what he’s going to have to do to take down Batista and possibly walk away with a win over the Animal. Rey walks to the outside of the ring looking to cool down and Rey slides back into the ring taking after taking a quick break. The fans are yelling for Rey to quickly turn around before Rey walks right into a drop toe hold from the Animal sending Mysterio down into the mat face first and now, Batista seems as if he’s about to go to work and try to finish off and tear apart the Master of the 619, Rey Mysterio.

Batista grabs Mysterio and sends Mysterio into the ropes before Mysterio comes charging right back at Batista, Mysterio ducks Batista and comes right back before running into a devastating clothesline almost beheading Mysterio as Mysterio grabs his neck at ringside. Batista shakes his hand laughing and smiling before looking back down at Mysterio and showing pretty much no concern for the almost lifeless luchadore. Batista backs Mysterio into the corner before leaning back and throwing a shoulder thrust right into the sternum of Mysterio. Batista steps back and runs right into Mysterio again with another shoulder thrust before stepping back once more and finishing off Mysterio with a third and final shoulder thrust pushing Mysterio hard against the turnbuckle and Batista simply watches Mysterio fall down to the mat almost lifeless.

Batista heads back into the corner looking possibly for a Spear once more that could finally give him the chance to break away with the win and finally put out Mysterio for the three count. Batista sets himself up and he sees Mysterio slowly start standing up. Batista comes charging across the ring once more for another attempt at the Spear but surely enough, Mysterio rolls away but Batista is smart enough and he stops himself from hitting the turnbuckle in the corner hard. Mysterio leaps into the air dropkicking Batista straight into the turnbuckle, which causes Batista to go stumbling backwards and fall down right onto the mat below.

Mysterio makes his way over to the top rope once again and starts making his way up the ropes trying to get there before Batista can get up. The fans are cheering, as this could be the ending of the match if Mysterio can capitalize somehow and someway. The fans continue to cheer as Mysterio repositions himself and looks ready to jump as he sees Batista getting back up. Batista turns around to see Mysterio setting himself up and Mysterio takes a major chance as he leaps off the ropes. Mysterio is looking for a seated senton onto Batista but for the second time in the match, Batista catches Mysterio turning a flying move into something else and this time, Batista brings Mysterio crashing down to the mat with the Batista Bomb! Holy shit chants break out and the fans are going wild as Mysterio can’t move in the ring and this indeed has to be the end of it right now for Mysterio in the ring, Batista hooks the leg and the referee begins the count.

Tony Chimmel: Here is your winner…Batista!!!

Match Length: 15 Minutes, 06 Seconds

We cut over to ringside to the commentating team.

Michael Cole: Oh my, Batista could have just broken Rey Mysterio in half and really, I don’t think we’ll see Mysterio for a little while.

Tazz: I doubt it either or at least we don’t need to, I don’t think Rey even needs to be thinking about wrestling with the beating he took tonight.

Michael Cole: Certainly not but still to come tonight, as a matter of fact, it’s going to be our main event which is next!

Tazz: I’ve been waiting all night, six men with the World-Heavyweight title on the line, elimination rules apply and that’s after this.

We cut backstage to see Steve Romero standing by with Edge.

Steve Romero: Edge, in just a matter of moments, you’ll be taking on five other men with your World-Heavyweight title on the line, your thoughts?

Edge: My thoughts? My thoughts are exactly this Steve. This is a tragedy, it’s bullshit because Teddy Long forced me into this match with five other men, he claims I didn’t want competition when I beat down all of those men in the Fatal 4 Way a month back and now this is my punishment, I’ve got to fight all of them plus Kurt Angle? Teddy doesn’t appreciate how a real champion handles his business and despite the odds stacked against me tonight, I guarantee that I’ll still be champion by the end of the night.

Steve Romero: You’ve fought Kurt Angle for the past few weeks and he earned a spot into the match by be…

Edge: Kurt Angle didn’t beat me. I beat myself. I wasn’t in it that night and that was a rare occurrence for the Rated R Superstar! I had many other plans that night, if you catch my drift Steve and well, I wasn’t focused on beating Angle but tonight the lights are bright and shining down on us all which this is where the Rated R Superstar shines the brightest and I have a feeling you are all in for a treat when I step into that ring tonight.

Steve Romero: You do seem rather confident tonight, why is this Edge?

Edge: Wow, what a stupid question. I’ve been World-Heavyweight Champion since January 29, the Royal Rumble when I cashed in my Money in the Bank briefcase. Probably the greatest call ever because no one saw it coming, not even the Edgeheads out there but only myself and Lita. Now Lita’s on Raw and I’ve been without here since but still, the Rated R Superstar has one thing to say and that tonight, all those five men including Kurt Angle, this is a guaranteed win for me and you can bank on it!

We cut back down to ringside to the commentating team.

Michael Cole: And now it’s time, the World-Heavyweight Championship is on the line and we’ve been waiting for this all night.

Tazz: It’s truly been a great night but now’s the time, six men with one title, it’s going to be all hell going wild here tonight.

Michael Cole: It truly will Tazz and really, this is going to be perhaps the most anticipated title match for a while.

Tazz: With Edge, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, Chris Benoit, JBL, and Christian, it has reasoning to be awaited for a reason.

Burn in my Light hits across the arena and down comes Randy Orton. Orton turns backwards and spins around as the pyro sets off before Orton throws up his trademark pose. Orton continues down the ramp before stopping and waiting on the outside seeing Benoit still in the ring. Orton looks around ringside waiting for the next man to come down.

Christian leaps off the ropes and shakes hands with Benoit before preparing for the match.

Tony Chimmel: From Toronto, Ontario, Canada weighing in at 230 pounds, he is “Captain Charisma” Christian!!!

Longhorn hits across the arena and out comes the limo of JBL. The limo comes to a sudden halt and the chauffeur steps out opening the door of JBL’s. JBL steps out of the limo himself and walks down the ramp staring down Benoit and Christian in the ring before JBL does the Texas Two-step at ringside before waiting on the outside.

Tony Chimmel: From New York City, New York weighing in at 295 pounds, he is John Bradshaw Layfield!!!

Orton and JBL await the other heel Edge as Edge slides into the ring and kisses his belt before handing it over. The fans boo as Edge leans on the ropes and taunts them waiting for the match to begin.

Tony Chimmel: And finally, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada weighing in at 240 pounds, he is the World-Heavyweight Champion, Edge!!!

Match #7
World-Heavyweight Championship
Six Pack Challenge Elimination Match
Edge © vs. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit
Vs. Christian vs. Randy Orton vs. JBL

The referee holds the World title high in the air and the fans chant as they know that it is time for the main event and now, this is for all the marbles. Edge looks at his title, as he knows this could very well be the last time he ends up holding the title. Benoit steps into the ring looking eager to begin the match and it seems he’s beginning it off with Orton. Orton and Benoit both circle around each other and the fans are excited as we’re about to begin the main event, perhaps one of the biggest and most-awaited main events in some time. And it’s all about to go down.

Orton and Benoit both begin it off with Orton hooking it up in the middle of the ring with Benoit, Benoit however ducks a right from Orton sending Orton into the turnbuckle with a strong Irish whip as Orton lands hard in the turnbuckle. Benoit watches Orton to make sure he isn’t coming out of the corner as Benoit takes his time and charges right into the turnbuckles Orton is in. Orton quickly does move out of the corner in time as Benoit ends up colliding with the turnbuckle in the corner hard stomach first. As soon as Benoit comes out of the corner, Orton quickly spins Benoit around and delivers a Vertical Suplex. Orton heads into the corner and makes the tag bringing in the current rival of Benoit so to say, JBL.

JBL comes into the ring looking rather cocky as JBL quickly stomps on the back of Benoit teasing and taunting the Rabid Wolverine as Benoit remains down in the ring. JBL quickly grabs Benoit off the mat wanting to take advantage early on to try and keep the Rabid Wolverine down, as Benoit is known to be alive and on his feet during the match. Benoit comes running back after JBL quickly Irish whips Benoit into the ropes. Benoit ducks a clothesline from JBL but surely enough, Benoit comes running right back into an elbow from JBL. JBL watches as Benoit is down on the mat and JBL drops down dropping an elbow on the sternum of Benoit. JBL quickly throws Benoit over hoping possibly for the first cover and first elimination of the match.

JBL looks back down at Benoit looking frustrated but JBL knows he has many targets to get through tonight if he wants the World-Heavyweight Championship. JBL quickly grabs Benoit and throws the Rabid Wolverine into the bottom turnbuckle as JBL is doing what he normally does and that is slow down the tempo of the match and run the match in his style. JBL extends his boot and starts choking out Benoit in the corner as the ref has to pull JBL off Benoit by doing the five count and JBL does finally remove the leg at four. JBL walks around before running back at Benoit and driving a boot right into the face of Benoit once again as it seems JBL is dominating the match right now.

JBL pulls Benoit out of the corner and JBL clubs away at the back of Benoit, JBL tries one more time but Benoit is able to head butt JBL right in the sternum, JBL tries to block the head butt but he can’t and Benoit starts reaching out for the tag. Benoit can’t make the tag as JBL quickly pulls Benoit back into the middle of the ring before dragging the Rabid Wolverine into the corner. JBL tags in the current World-Heavyweight champion as in comes Edge! Edge simply comes in stomping away at the leg of Benoit maybe hinting later on for his submission finisher, the Edgecator for possibly later on in the match up. However Edge drags Benoit into the middle of the ring and jumps right up in the air before coming down on Benoit’s leg.

The World-Heavyweight Champion certainly is looking dominant in the early going as Edge pulls Benoit off the mat looking for a Delayed Vertical Suplex. However Benoit is quick to kick Edge right in the sternum once again. Benoit quickly comes from behind and delivers a German Suplex letting go and sending Edge flying across the ring as now, Benoit has a chance to get back into the match up. Benoit however starts crawling towards the ropes looking for a tag to bring someone in and Christian reaches out! Christian tags in Benoit and here comes Christian! Edge falls backwards as he was getting back onto his feet and Edge and Christian stare down one another, similar to their moment at WrestleMania. However Edge stumbles backwards and quickly tags in Kurt Angle, bringing in the former WWE Champion.

Angle quickly steps into the ring not wanting to play around and mess with Christian even though it’s a battle of face versus face right now. Angle and Christian hook up with one another in the middle of the ring but Angle quickly comes from behind on Christian. Angle trips Christian up taking down Captain Charisma and spinning around applying a headlock on the fan favorite Christian as Angle is being cheered also seeing as he is a face. Angle watches as Christian starts to get back up from the headlock and Christian is onto his feet. However, Angle grabs Christian and delivers a major German Suplex! Angle throws Christian over to his side hoping possibly for a chance at eliminating Christian right about now.

Angle rolls back onto his side before getting back onto his feet and Angle starts stalking Christian looking as if he’s wanting to go ahead and eliminate Christian this early on. Angle starts jumping up and down in the corner for the Angle Slam but as Angle backs himself into the corner, JBL quickly tags himself in bringing himself into the match now. Angle looks utterly pissed as the Olympic Gold Medalist is forced to the outside of the ring. JBL simply smiles and taunts Angle, as JBL turns right around into a shot in the gut from Christian. Christian quickly gets down onto the mat hoping for a cover and possibly the first elimination of the match, something no one has yet to be able to do so far in the match up.

Christian really can’t believe he just watched JBL kick out and Christian doesn’t seem too concerned however as he quickly grabs JBL up off the mat. Christian sends JBL running right into the ropes before JBL comes back, however JBL does stop as Christian attempts a clothesline and JBL grabs Christian before attempting a DDT but Christian is quick to push the Wrestling God off of him causing JBL to bump right into Randy Orton making Orton the eligible man. Orton comes into the ring with his current rival as it seems Orton and Christian are about to lock it up, one on one to see who truly is the better man in this feud right here and right now.

Christian gets a huge right to the face as Orton taunted doing a lockup but quickly ends up throwing another right taking Christian down. Orton quickly grabs Christian up off the mat before sending Christian running into the ropes. Christian comes back and ducks a huge clothesline from Orton but Orton quickly spins Christian around and grabs Christian as he spins him around before quickly delivering a major backbreaker and it sends Christian down onto the mat. It certainly seems that right about now, the match certainly is heading towards the favor of Randy Orton right now but can he keep it up during the entire match.

Orton looks down at Christian knowing he needs to do something while Christian is still down on the mat and he does need to find a way to take advantage somehow and someway. Orton starts taunting Christian possibly looking for the RKO and the fans are booing the hell out of Orton as Christian is rolling around on the mat and slowly making his way back onto his feet. Christian is slowly progressing towards the ropes trying to find a way to get someone into the match via a tag but Orton pulls the foot of Christian holding back Christian. Orton is still down on the mat however but he is doing anything and everything he can to prevent Christian from going for the tag and bringing in a fresh superstar. Christian tries pulling himself over as he hops onto one leg trying to reach over but Orton pulls Christian back. Christian goes flawing back right into a cradle from Orton and the fans are booing as Orton could very well have a win over Christian somehow if Christian doesn’t find a way to kick out of the cradle.

Orton rolls back onto his feet in disgust thinking and knowing for sure he should have very well had the pin fall there but apparently it wasn’t meant to be as Orton has to watch his current rival right now in Christian kick out in front of his very own eyes. Orton starts arguing with the referee pulling on the shirt of the ref telling him that he needs to start counting faster and the ref is warning Orton to let go of him. Christian gets back onto his feet and comes charging at Orton but Orton quickly turns around but Christian quickly stops himself before running into the referee in the turnbuckles in the corner. However, Christian isn’t quick enough to realize Orton is taunting Christian from behind as Orton leaps into the air and brings Christian down onto the mat with a mat shaking RKO! The fans boo Orton as he throws Christian over on his side and really, it seems like Christian could be gone right about now from the match.

Angle and Edge both stare down each other briefly knowing one of them will walk out the World-Heavyweight Champion while the other will walk out with nothing. Edge comes from behind Angle quickly pushing Angle into the corner before hitting Angle across the back hard with a right and Angle grabs his back in pain as he’s been through a lot of pain during the match tonight. Edge quickly comes over to Angle before he begins to boot Angle right in the ribs hard taking down Angle as the Olympic Gold Medalist falls into the bottom turnbuckle.

Edge waists no time and he sends Angle flying into the ropes before back comes Angle running right into a Back Body Drop from Edge. Edge starts grounding and kicking Angle down on the mat wanting to take advantage right now as he has the Wrestling Machine down on the mat right now hoping for a chance at regaining his title. Edge comes from behind applying a rear naked choke on Angle but as soon as Edge does so, Angle begins to elbow Edge hard in the sternum, which is causing Edge to have to break the hold. Angle pushes Edge into the ropes before sending Edge flying into the opposing ropes. Angle catches Edge and delivers a Belly-to-Belly Suplex sending Edge flying to the outside of the ring and landing on the mat! The fans are breaking out in Holy Shit chants, as right now, Edge seems to be out of it.

Angle quickly slides to the outside of the ring before getting Edge back onto his feet and throwing Edge into the steel steps. The referee slides to the outside trying to break Angle away from Edge but Angle heads right back over to Edge and grabs the Rated R Superstar, throwing Edge right back into the ring, looking to work on Edge. Angle grabs Edge from behind and gets the current World-Heavyweight Champion back onto his feet before lifting Edge high into the air with a Belly to Back Suplex before bringing Edge crashing down to the mat. Angle throws Edge over hoping for a chance at the win as the ref drops down for the cover, could this very well be it?

One…

Thr…

Angle gets back onto his feet and he really thought that once again, that very well could have been his match right there and it could have been his title. Angle gets back onto his feet pulling Edge back up also in the process as Edge has been beaten down for a little while right now from the brutal moves that Angle has thrown out at Edge. Angle heads right over to Edge before grabbing Edge up off the mat, however Edge does move before Angle can do anything and Angle goes running right into the turnbuckle. Edge has some trouble standing as he has taken a beating but he quickly clubs Angle in the back with a hard right. Angle turns around from the turnbuckles as Edge charges across the ring before coming back and missing with a clothesline before Angle catches Edge, Edge comes running right into a European Uppercut from the Wrestling Machine.

Angle’s going on the attack now as Angle throws Edge into the corner before throwing some rights at Edge wanting to make sure Edge is out of it for now. Angle grabs Edge before trying to send Edge into the ropes but miraculously, Edge counters and ends up sending Angle into the turnbuckle with Angle landing on his back in the turnbuckle. Edge walks over to Angle and throws Angle onto the top rope looking for some type of key move but Angle pushes Edge off of him. Angle regains his balance on the top rope before looking back at Edge laying on the mat. Angle leaps into the sky and coming down looking for the Moonsault but surely enough, Edge is quick to roll away as Angle ends up colliding with the mat hard! The fans are cheering for Angle to get back up somehow and find a way to grab the ropes.

Angle is rolling around in the ring right now as he has landed hard with the mat and it doesn’t seem to be right now in the favor of the Wrestling Machine. Edge is heading into the corner pulling himself up as he apparently is stalking Angle looking for the Spear. Edge is going to try once again during the match and it’s made apparent, as Edge is bouncing up and down in the corner. Edge continues to stalk Angle as Angle is pulling himself up on the ropes. Angle starts walking backwards, looking for the Spear and sure enough, Edge comes charging across the ring! Angle turns around right into the Spear as it looks like Edge could have just broken Angle in half! Edge falls down to the mat and hooks the leg hoping for the win, could this be it right now?

One…

Two…

Thre…

Angle gets a shoulder up, the match will continue and it has been amazing so far as Edge is throwing everything at Angle but Angle continues to defy the odds. Edge starts pulling at his hair wondering what he’s going to have to do to keep Angle down and out of it and he walks right over to the former WWE Champion. Edge grabs Angle picking up before kicking Angle in the sternum. Edge swings around Angle looking for the finishing touch with the Edge-O-Matic but Angle pushes off Edge as Edge comes back, Angle spins Edge around! Angle grabs Edge and delivers the first of the German Suplexes! Angle keeps the lock held as Angle throws Edge once again connecting with the second of the German Suplexes, and Angle holds Edge before letting go after he connects with the third and final of the German Suplexes!

Angle heads behind Edge and starts stomping, taunting right now at the World-Heavyweight Champion as Angle continues to bounce up and down stomping. Angle grabs Edge as Edge gets back onto his feet and Edge runs right into the Angle Slam! Edge however slides off the shoulders of Angle and gets a cradle. But Angle is quick to reverse the cradle by grabbing the ankle of Edge and Angle rolls through with the Ankle Lock! The fans are breaking out in Holy Shit chants as Angle has the ankle of Edge and now this could be it! Angle is twisting and turning at the ankle, yelling at Edge to tap out and Edge is scratching and crawling trying to reach the ropes. Edge continues trying to reach the ropes but he just can’t. Edge seems to be almost there and he’s holding on for dear life, however Angle pulls Edge back into the middle of the ring and hooks his leg with Edge’s. Edge finally reaches up and taps out giving the win to Angle and we have a new champion!

Elimination #5: Edge via Ankle Lock from Kurt Angle, 30:40

Tony Chimmel: Here is your winner and the new World-Heavyweight Champion…Kurt Angle!!!

Match Length: 30 Minutes, 40 Seconds

Kurt Angle rolls to the outside and grabs the World-Heavyweight Championship. Angle slides back into the ring after grabbing the belt before climbing the turnbuckles and beating his chest while Angle holds the championship high. We see Edge being pulled out of the ring and he pulls himself back up to back up the ramp to watch Angle celebrate. Angle holds the belt high as Edge simply looks on in a pissed off mood, vowing for his championship to come back to him.

Michael Cole: My god that was a wild match and what a way to end the night off with, we have crowned a new World-Heavyweight Champion!

Tazz: Kurt Angle has come to Smackdown three weeks ago and he comes and wins the World-Heavyweight title!

Michael Cole: Angle went through hell tonight to gain this belt but now he can finally say he’s been World-Heavyweight Champion!

Tazz: Ladies and gentleman, thanks for watching tonight and we’ll see you all this Friday night on Friday Night Smackdown!

End of Show

Whoa, Judgment Day!

I'll try and get a review up by the end of the weekend, or by the middle of next week, KOPV1. Looks excellent.

Good to see it posted, review will be up on Monday night my time, from the scan I did of the main event, it seems to be worthy of a mention in the BTB awards. Easily.

It'll be a week before I'll have a chance to review KOP. Just overloaded on doing WM at the minute, but I've had a look over the show, which looked really strong, albeit with a eye opening winner to the main event. My views on that though to come at a later date.

Sounds good everyone and I know it's a bad time since it's the holidays, everyone's working on their PPV's pretty much, and I've got sports so until the holidays in two weeks, I'm pretty much booked and it might be that way come Spring if I make the baseball team. But um anyways, everyone take your time with the reviews and I'll be sure to return them and I know I owe Deadman one but I'll try and get around to that one sometimes this week.

Ok, looking forward to some of those reviews coming in seeing as I'm owed some and remember, I'll return the review. Thought maybe would have seen a few by now and slightly disappointed but owell, I'll get what I get and I understand since it's the holidays, many bookers are doing PPV's right now, etc. But um, anyways I've pretty much come upon my one year anniversary with Unleash the Fury, something that is rare for bookers to do nowadays is keep a thread for so long. Wolfy of course and F-D both have plus Arjun has for a year I believe and now, I can say I have but anyways...

I'm looking for some reviews, then I want the Raw Preview posted maybe Thursday, might be tomorrow but depends on how the reviews are. And I want Raw to be posted this weekend, Thursday at the earliest.
