Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Carlito musters up a final amount of strength and uses everything he can to run backwards with Masters as he rams Masters into the turnbuckle. Nothing happens as Carlito tries it once more and once again, nothing happens. Carlito does it for the third time and it was his luck, Masters feels the pain in his back and is forced to break the Masterlock. Masters doesn’t have any clue what he just did as he turns around with his back facing Carlito. Carlito takes the chance to strike quickly as Carlito leaps onto the back of Masters and drives his knees into the back of Masters delivering the Back Cracker! The fans cheer as the referee comes over and counts the pin fall; Carlito counts along with the fans too at the same time!
Carlito didn't officially break the Masterlock. It's very similar to the HBK/Masters match at Unforgiven 2006 to the ending. Carlito rammed Masters back first into the turnbuckles, Masters is feeling the pain and Carlito does it over and over, therefore Masters breaks the hold, not Carlito. Carlito didn't force himself out of it with his hands or anything, he just rammed Masters into the turnbuckle like I said which meant Masters had no choice but to break the hold.

Sorry if that wasn't clear enough, but just to know, thought I would clear that up and I'm not killing off Masters if that's what you all thought!

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Well, well. RVD looks to be in big trouble now, and the honeymoon as champion is definitely over, with Vince setting his sights firmly on the Championship. Should be interesting to see how long RVD can fend off the challenge of Vince and co. Looks like he is certainly becoming the centre of attention, which he should be as champion, and it appears he wont be on his own, with Paul Heyman backing him up. Triple threat tonight doesn’t look good for RVD, but Kane and HHH will likely fall apart, both wanting the win, and ECW rules suit’s the champion too. I have a feeling the build towards ONS is officially under way.

3MW don’t look like stopping their vicious run as champions, and hopefully you can find a decent pair on your roster to come in and prove worthy challengers.

Hopefully Carlito keeps himself as top dog over Masters again next week, as Masters could prove to be a good stepping stone for CCC to reach the next echelon.

Back up for Trish and Ashley then in the form of Beth Phoenix. Not keen on Phoenix, but she appears to be capable in the ring, which is what matters. Another loss though for Trish was a surprise, and surely puts Stratus at the end of the pack in line for a title shot now.

A little surprised it’s Test that gets the title shot tonight and not Striker, although I can see it being one of those situations where Test can get it done, so Striker then takes over to try and prise the belt from Benjamin. Strikers push is going handsomely right now.

Great match here with Angle vs. Flair. Awesome stuff I’m sure. The promo leading up to the match was good, but after this win, I think you made the right choice to send Angle over to SD where he appears to have a new lease of life now from quick glances.

I can see a top Smackdown heel jumping to Raw very soon in order to feud with Cena, just until he is able to get his title shot, which he has definitely earned, but I cant see him getting it anytime soon with Vince in the fray. Really excellent promo though.

Really pleased that Helms and Benjamin havent moved on yet. Give us the Best of Seven series please, or 2/3 Falls match - preferably on PPV, lol. Dying for the rematch.

DQ win for Carlito over Conway, with Masters getting one over on CCC. That suggests that Carlito definitely goes over next week.

Seems weird that Jericho would get rid of the Spirit Squad, then get beaten down. Don’t think Jericho is ready for a face turn, but I cant see him letting the SS get away with the attack. Hard to call what’ll happen here, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Test fails in his quest for the I.C Title, thanks to a vengeance seeking Charlie Haas, who is rightly after revenge following Backlash. Could be the beginning of a reform for TWGTT, against Striker and Test, although that’d leave a certain Gregory Helms in limbo.

Major win for RVD, overcoming big odds, which is a good thing, and makes him even more of a credible champion with such a huge win under his belt here. It’ll be far from over though, and Van Dam will need to keep producing those type of displays to keep the title methinks.

Wasn’t awfully keen on the Edge promo, but the interruption from KURT ANGLE adds a lot of spice to the opening promo. Huge start to open season, with Angle the first man to jump, and as I predicted a guy from Raw would take the final place in the 6 way match up. Although he seemed like a totally different person to the one I just read from Raw, whining. Tonights main event should be incredible, and I’ll be sure to enjoy that.

I <3 Finlay. Hopefully the Ukliq take the belts at JD, which I never thought I’d say, as I love the team of London and Kendrick. Just not as much as FINLAY!!!

Not keen on the Holly - Sylvan feud, although it’s pleasing to see someone like Grenier get a push for a change. Hopefully you find a better feud for him soon though, as a feud with Holly doesn’t interest me.

All the build up towards Kennedy giving a reason as to why he attacked Lashley, and we get nothing. Not sure why you built it up as if it’d be some huge secret, and really it was nothing. Those two going at it at JD will be worth seeing, as the winner will be sure to rocket into main events immediately, whilst the loser will likely have to toil in the mid card for a while longer.

DQ win for Benoit is fine, as no one looks too weak for JD, although the crossface is nicely put over with JBL desperate not to get caught in it. Cant see either of them getting a chance to win at JD, as it’ll be between the other four imo.

A Booker - Hardy feud should be worth doing, although it’ll be just a mid card feud. Decent enough promo here, and you’re still the best guy at pushing Booker.

Glad to see Batista being put over as ‘The Animal’ with an animalistic approach to this match up, which pleases me. Hopefully he can go on a major tear as an unstoppable force, which he needs to be as a heel.

The Orton - Christian feud is certainly one that has legs, and this middle of the road promo suggests it will develop for quite some time before eventually culminating.

Match up following the promo was pretty strong too, with Orton heeling his way to a win. Christian seems to have fallen slightly from grace recently ever since his WM loss, which is a shame, although he’ll definitely get a win or two back over Orton in the near future.

Main event time, and what a main event to cap off a tremendous in ring show. For me, it looks to be between Angle and Edge for the belt come JD, with Angle seemingly hitting a big stride of momentum, especially with the non title victory here, whilst Edge is still looking good value as champion.

Overall, SD certainly outshone Raw on this occasion. The in ring product on SD was vastly superior, arguably too good for a weekly show. Cant see that type of line up coming every week though, as it’ll spoil the JD main event, with three one on one matches every week.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview for Monday May 8, 2006

Tonight Raw rolls right into Bridgeport, Connecticut and with so many happenings of last week's show, this show seems to be one hell of a Raw too. First off, Rob Van Dam was forced to defend and he went onto defeat Triple H and Kane in the ECW Rules Triple Threat Match which was for the WWE Championship. With Paul Heyman at his side, tonight the WWE Champion will be in a one on one match with one of his opponents from last week, "The Big Red Machine" Kane! Mr. McMahon and Triple H will be at ringside to watch the match and what can we expect from this match?

Chris Jericho was shocked last week whenever during the Highlight Reel, Chris Jericho came out to talk about his huge loss inside of the Steel Cage at Backlash. However, he got a major surprise whenever Jericho was attacked by the Spirit Squad. Jericho has been certainly different these past few days since his loss at Backlash. Now with the Spirit Squad no longer at his side, where does Jericho go from here? What can we end up expecting from the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla?

A huge tag match has been signed for tonight's Raw whenever the Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin teams with his former tag partner, Charlie Haas to fight Matt Striker and Gregory Helms. Test will also be at ringside with Matt Striker and could he play a major role in the factoring of the matchup? Helms and Benjamin put on a classic at Backlash and most recently, Benjamin has found himself and his title in jeapordy as Matt Striker seems to be coming for the title. With these four talented men in one ring, things are certainly set to blow up.

And finally, the end of a feud is near. Carlito, one of Raw's favorite superstars tonight will lock up with "The MasterPiece" Chris Masters in which they look to end the feud. These two former friends waged war at WrestleMania in the MITB Ladder Match and at Backlash in their one on one match. With so much bragging rights between these two up for grabs, could we see Carlito gain another win over Masters or could Masters do what he said he would do all along? Finally make Carlito pass out to the MasterLock? Tune into Raw to see what happens.

Plus new diva Beth Phoenix made a huge impact last week whenever she came down and laid out the Women's Champion, Mickie James. Phoenix, who seems to be associating herself with Trish Stratus and Ashley Massaro, will make her in-ring debut tonight! Beth will be fighting Candice Michelle, Mickie's tag partner from last week and will Beth show her dominant in-ring skills as she did on Raw last week? Or could we be seeing a huge upset coming from Candice Michelle in the ring? Find out what happens when all this divas meet each other on Raw!

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Monday Night Raw
Monday May 8, 2006
Bridgeport, Connecticut

The Raw video package plays, as does Across the Nation to open the show with the normal video package. We then see the video package play before we roll right into the arena to the commentating team.

Jim Ross: Hello everybody and welcome to another huge show here tonight! So many things are set for us including our main event!

Jerry Lawler: That’s right JR because tonight, the fans get to see Rob Van Dam face Kane one on one after last week’s match up.

Jim Ross: Mr. McMahon couldn’t have been happy with last week’s show seeing as RVD did overcome the odds meagerly

Jerry Lawler: But other bad news for Mr. McMahon! Shawn Michaels will be giving us an exclusive interview from his home in San Antonio!

Match #1
Carlito vs. Chris Masters

Match Overview: The show opens up with a rare opening match instead of a segment to switch things around for now. Carlito and Masters kick the show off continuing their feud as it’s been progressing for a little while. Masters starts to wear down Carlito towards the ending of the match taking down Carlito with a huge Polish Hammer, which sends Carlito down onto the mat, and the tide seems to be turning towards Masters now. Masters heads towards Carlito and starts taunting the fan favorite now, as he seems to be ready for the MasterLock. Masters grabs Carlito and applies the Masterlock but Carlito elbows his way out. Carlito then leaps with amazing agility onto the top rope and takes Masters down with a Springboard Elbow Smash. Carlito leaps right back onto his feet and grabs the back of Masters for the Back Cracker! However Masters has scouted the move apparently as he pushes Carlito off of him, Carlito however grabs the tights of Masters and rolls him up as the fans watch before Carlito lets go of the tights meaning the cradle is legal. One…Two…Three!

Winner: Carlito

We come back from the commercial to see suddenly Shawn Michaels walking in the parking lot! Michaels starts heading towards the arena whenever someone emerges right in front of Michaels. The camera scans up and shows to be Triple H!

Triple H: And where are you going?

Crowd Boos

Shawn Michaels: I’m go…

Triple H: Oh no you’re not!!!

Crowd Boos

Triple H: Look Shawn, you know it and I know it! Your ass isn’t supposed to be here tonight and even if you were suppose to be here, I would suggest you shouldn’t be here because of that huge beating you took at Backlash last Sunday, that was just plain brutal!

Crowd Boos

Triple H: Because if I’m not mistaking, didn’t Vince end up barring you from the arena as he wanted to make sure you wouldn’t be here? Well, it seems funny because right now in that arena, there are fans here for Raw, and you are here too? Don’t make me do this Shawn, but if I have to, my special friend will be forced to come out.

Crowd Boos

Shawn Michaels: You know Hunter, if it hasn’t been made apparent these past few months, I really don’t care what Vince McMahon says or does. I’m the Heart Break Kid, the Showstopper, and the Icon, and whenever you’re a legend like me, you can do what you want and when you want. And I’m doing what I want tonight by coming to Raw.

Crowd Pops

Michaels tries to move towards the arena but Triple H moves showing that he will not budge and let the Heart Break Kid into the arena no matter what.

Triple H: Shawn, I’m not letting you get into the arena. You’re not supposed to be here tonight and that’s because we don’t want you ruining the show. So go ahead and bring yourself back to wherever the hell you came from and don’t even think about coming back to the show because really, you don’t want to see what will happen!

Crowd Boos

Triple H grabs his sledgehammer and taps it with his hands. He rubs it showing that now with the Sledgehammer, Michaels has no chance of coming through.

Shawn Michaels: OK! You got me Hunter but just wait because next week, I’m coming back to Raw and you just wait to see what happens because what you did to Stone Cold and myself, that’s only an example of what I’m going to do to you and your little buddies Hunter. No matter if it’s Kane, Shane McMahon, or even Vince, you’re all in for a big surprise!

Michaels walks off as Triple H looks at Michaels. HBK heads towards his car and gets in before pulling out of the parking lot and driving out of the parking lot. We then cut down to ringside to the commentating team.

Jim Ross: Wow! Shawn Michaels just came on Raw tonight; well kind of because he wasn’t officially in the arena.

Jerry Lawler: He certainly tried though and he didn’t succeed but what will Michaels do next week when he comes back to Raw?

Jim Ross: No clue King but he certainly seems a different man, as if this has changed his mine about HHH and co.

Jerry Lawler: We’ll have to see what goes down between those two but right now, former WWE Champion, John Cena will be wrestling!

Match #2
John Cena vs. Rene Dupree

Match Overview: Pretty much a squash match to get the former champion on the show, Cena dominates throughout the match with Dupree getting little amount of action in the ring and really stood no chance from the beginning. Cena takes down Dupree with a shoulder block, then gets right into the face of Dupree and does the “You Can’t See Me” taunt. Cena comes off the ropes and drops the Five Knuckle Shuffle onto Dupree. Cena gets right back up and catches Dupree with a huge mat-shaking F-U. The fans cheer on Cena as he throws Dupree over and locks in his submission move, the STFU! The fans cheer for Cena as Dupree heads towards the ropes trying to get himself out of the move but he can’t and it seems to be too much. Dupree raises his hands and taps out giving the win to Cena tonight.

Winner via Submission: John Cena

No Chance hits across the arena as down comes the Chairman of the Board, Mr. McMahon! McMahon comes down to the ring doing his normal Power walk as the fans boo the hell out of McMahon. McMahon gets into the ring and grabs a mic before looking around the arena as the fans continue to boo him.

Mr. McMahon: Now tonight is all about one thing, tonight’s the beginning of the end of Rob Van Dam’s WWE title reign. He’s had the title for a month now and Kurt Angle couldn’t beat him and last week was a mistake. Triple H and Kane both lost but tonight will be no mistake because Kane will absolutely destroy RVD!

Crowd Boos

Mr. McMahon: Van Dam has had a great title reign, no doubt! But it’s been too long and he thinks that Paul Heyman can help him? Please, Heyman will make no difference because even though he is a great mind, his mind can’t beat the one of the Chairman of the Board, wait! Which happens to be me, Vincent Kennedy McMahon!

Crowd Boos

Mr. McMahon: And whether any of you like it or not, you’ll all have to face the facts because at Backlash, Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels both paid the price. Now Austin wants time off for months and Michaels tries to sneak into Raw? Well, that’s what happens when you cross the boss and RVD crossed the line last week.

Crowd Boos

Mr. McMahon: RVD stood no chance from the beginning but he just had to go ahead and bring out Paul Heyman thinking the odds would not be against him any more. Big mistake there and even though neither Kane nor Triple H won the title, you can guaran-damn-tee that one of them will become the WWE Champion soon!

Crowd Boos

Mr. McMahon: And re…

Extreme hits across the arena as Mr. McMahon looks up the ramp. McMahon looks pissed that Paul Heyman is interrupting him. Heyman comes down to the ring in a black suit wearing his trademark ECW baseball cap. Heyman gets into the ring and pulls a mic out of his suit, a mic that has the ECW logo on it!

Mr. McMahon: Just who in the hell do you think you are coming out here interrupting my speech?

Crowd Boos

Paul Heyman: Well, if you haven’t met me yet, I’m Paul Heyman, former owner of ECW, Extreme Championship Wrestling. And by the way, you certainly don’t seem to be in the greatest of moods right now Vince, what’s wrong?

Heyman laughs knowing McMahon is pissed right now. McMahon looks at Heyman in surprise as to why he asked that question.

Mr. McMahon: SHADDUP!

Crowd Boos

Mr. McMahon: I don’t give a shit whom you are! Damnit! I came out here for one reason and one reason only and it certainly in hell wasn’t to see you out here. Now how about you go ahead and march right back out of my ring, then make your way up the ramp and go ahead and leave the company and don’t come back?

Crowd Boos

Paul Heyman: I’m sorry for interrupting you Mr. McMahon but really, these fans don’t come to pay and see you run your mouth. They come to see hardcore, extreme action that can always be remembered by the fans. And they get that from their current WWE Champion! Rob…Van…Dam!!!

Crowd Pops for RVD

Mr. McMahon: Ho…

Paul Heyman: Mr. Monday Night, Mr. Pay Per View, The Whole Damn Show, whatever you want to call him now! He steals the show whenever he comes down to the ring and tonight will be no different because I’ll be at his side tonight making sure that their won’t be any cheating or anything from you (Heyman points to McMahon)

Mr. McMahon: Don’t you ever interrupt me again when I’m speaking!

McMahon throws the mic down whenever he notices that Triple H is coming down to the ring. Triple H slides in and grabs Paul Heyman. Triple H taunts the fans looking to Pedigree Heyman but down comes the WWE Champion, Rob Van Dam! RVD slides into the ring and sends Triple H running away before we head over to the commentating team.

Jim Ross: Wow! The heated tension between Rob Van Dam and Paul Heyman against McMahon’s group continues on.

Jerry Lawler: Tonight’s going to be huge too because with that huge match tonight, so many things can happen in the match.

Jim Ross: That’s true and what will happen next after the break because our newest diva, Beth Phoenix makes her debut!

Jerry Lawler: Phoenix made her debut last week but tonight she will make her in-ring debut, what will happen when she hooks up with Candice?

We cut out to a black screen, then suddenly comes across the famous Hardy Boyz logo with the blue HB, the fans cheer for they know whom this is for.

Narrator: A six time World Tag Team Champion….

Images of Hardy capturing the WWF Tag Team Championships now known as the World Tag Team titles. Hardy is shown holding the titles high.

Narrator: Perhaps one of the most highflying wrestlers in the world….

Images of Hardy’s insane leaps over the years including his famous Swanton Bombs off ladders and the balcony leap at Survivor Series 2002.

Narrator: He’s the most insane wrestler to ever step into the ring….

Images of Hardy continuing to do his insane leaps are shown, as there has been plenty from over the years take place.

Narrator: The master of the Swanton….

Images of Hardy delivering the Swanton Bomb to many opponents but not during ladder matches, just regular Swanton Bombs.

Narrator: The Charismatic Enigma….

Images of Hardy in his last few years in the WWE, Hardy facing off against Jericho, and other people are shown

Narrator: And now Jeff Hardy is back looking to make a mark on the WWE forever….

More images of Hardy leaping off ladders, jumping through tables and delivering the Whisper in the Wind, we then see Hardy in a black room, lift his hands to his mouth and do his famous pose.

Jeff Hardy: The Charismatic Enigma is back, and the WWE hasn’t been the same without me!

Narrator: Jeff Hardy Returns…. to Monday Night Raw!!!

We then cut down to ringside to the commentating team.

Jim Ross: How much longer can it be until the return of the Daredevil, Jeff Hardy? When will we see him return?

Jerry Lawler: Who really knows JR? After all, this if Jeff Hardy we’re talking about, the insane wrestler who’ll do anything.

Jim Ross: And after three years away from the company, Hardy’s back with a purpose and that’s to entertain the fans but also go for the gold.

Jerry Lawler: It’s going to be huge whenever we see Hardy return because we know Hardy has always been a favorite in the WWE.

Match #3
Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle

Match Overview: Nothing special about this women’s encounter as Beth Phoenix officially makes her in-ring debut tonight against Candice. Both Trish and Ashley Massaro are at ringside representing Beth Phoenix tonight while Mickie James is at ringside with Candice. Beth grabs Candice and takes her down with a huge clothesline. Mickie tries to get into the ring and distract the opponent in Beth but Beth grabs Mickie with amazing force and flips her over the ropes. Mickie lands hard on her back as Beth watches Mickie slide out quickly before any damage can be done. Mickie starts backing up the ramp watching Beth as Beth gets Candice up off the mat. Trish and Ashley make sure Mickie continues heading up the ramp to make sure she can’t interfere. Beth grabs Candice and delivers a huge hard-hitting Sit Out Slam as Beth keeps the legs hooked. One…Two…Three!

Winner: Beth Phoenix

We cut backstage to see Chris Jericho standing by with Todd Grisham for an interview.

Todd Grisham: Chris, after last week’s attacks of the Spirit Squad, people have been talking all week as to how you’re going to retaliate. Can you give us an answer?

Chris Jericho: Save it assclown. Last week the Spirit Squad did what they wanted to and that was turn on me because I fired them. I don’t need them anymore just like I don’t need you fans anymore. This is a new Chris Jericho and I’m certainly not going to let anyone run right over me like the past few months have been.

Todd Grisham: Ok then Chris. Now we know that you are by yourself, can we expect to be seeing a singles championship run soon?

Chris Jericho: Todd, look at me! I’m the greatest wrestler in this industry; no doubt in my mind and that tells you that you’re looking at the next WWE Champion. You can name anyone in this business and I guarantee that I’ve beaten him. It doesn’t matter who it happens to be but the fact of the matter is, that no one and I mean no one can mess with the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla and walk away with a win!

Todd Grisham: Anything else Jericho?

Chris Jericho: Yeah, I’ve got something else. I was watching earlier tonight when the Heart Break Kid tried to come on the show, well he said he’d be on the show next week and why not have him appear on the Highlight Reel? Just imagine Todd, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho in the same ring on Raw is Jericho! See ya next week, Heart Break Kid!

We cut down to ringside to the commentating team.

Jim Ross: Wow! What a major announcement as for next week, Chris Jericho has challenged Shawn Michaels to come to the Highlight Reel.

Jerry Lawler: The history between these two is huge; both have put on great matches before and what happens next week?

Jim Ross: No clue King but it’s certainly going to be big and Jericho must have something in mind for HBK.

Jerry Lawler: We’ll have to see but something seems suspicious, could Jericho be working for Mr. McMahon in this now?

Match #4
The Highlanders vs. Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch

Match Overview: As it’s been known for a little bit, new teams are coming into Raw and one happens to be the Highlanders! The Highlanders are a Scottish team that wears kilts and are cousins. Their names are Rory McAllister and Robbie McAllister. Cade and Murdoch start to wear down Rory trying to take advantage of the Highlander’s debut tonight, which could ruin their credibility as a team if they lose on their debut. Cade and Murdoch try to finish off Rory with the Sweet and Sour, their finishing move but Rory elbows his way out of it. Rory then clothesline Cade to the outside and makes the tag into Robbie. Robbie comes in and Robbie gets some help from Rory, then both men lift up Trevor Murdoch and drop him to the mat with their impressive finisher, the Scot Drop! The fans go wild as Rory slides to the outside of the ring and Robbie makes the cover. The ref drops down and makes the count. One…Two…Three!!!

Winners: The Highlanders

We cut backstage to see Matt Striker sitting at his desk and standing behind him is Test.

Matt Striker: Hello everyone it is I…your teacher…Matt Striker!

Crowd Boos

Matt Striker: What you all have seen these past few weeks has been Matt Striker at his best, I’ve beaten Charlie Haas and tonight I’m going to beat Shelton Benjamin and get one step further to becoming the Intercontinental Champion.

Crowd Boos

Matt Striker: And that brings me to today’s lesson. Jealousy! Many people are jealous of other’s accomplishments just like you fans are jealous of mine! I’ve beaten the best and I’m perhaps one of the fastest rising stars in not only Raw but also the WWE today. And they’re all jealous because my students all want to be like me!

Crowd Boos

Matt Striker: But…you can’t!

Crowd Boos

Matt Striker: There is only one Matt Striker! And you are looking at him right now. Many people that have shown jealousy towards me have paid since I started coming back to Raw back in January, these students of mine used to get away with their jealousy when I was alone but now! Now I have a very hard Test that no one has passed yet!

Striker then turns around and points at Test while Striker Sucks Chants Break Out.

Matt Striker: Suck? I certainly don’t suck! (Striker shakes saying this word, as he doesn’t feel comfortable apparently) Right now this is an example of jealousy, an example of everyone showing and wishing they were just like me! I can’t help I’m this smart! And I certainly can’t help I’m better than all of you.

Crowd Boos

Matt Striker: I’ve always known that I was going to be smarter and better than many people in everything I do and I say. And I’ll always be like that. There is no doubt in my mind, that I’m better than not only the Intercontinental Champion…Shelton Benjamin…plus his little friend that he has and his former tag partner, Charlie Haas.

Crowd Boos

Matt Striker: I sat back way too long last year and let everyone run me over, I never did get the chance to come here on Raw and wrestle. I had to come here myself, I wasn’t about to ruin my chance in the WWE! And look where I’m at now! I’m at the top; I’m right where you people never thought a teacher like me would be!

Crowd Boos

Matt Striker: People have doubted my abilities this year, this year is almost halfway over but people have doubted the great abilities of me! And by the time the year is over, I prom..wait I guarantee that I, Matt Striker will have become the greatest wrestler to walk this Earth. And that concludes today’s lesson. Well for Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, your lesson is only about to begin!

Crowd Boos

Matt Striker: And remember, my name is Matt Striker…your teacher!!!

We cut down to ringside to the commentating team.

Jim Ross: Matt Striker is such a cocky little bastard. He thinks he’s the greatest thing to ever hit us here on Raw!

Jerry Lawler: Maybe he is JR. He’s certainly been a force to reckon with ever since he brought in Test two months ago.

Jim Ross: Well that’s true but coming up next, can he live up to his word when he teams with Gregory Helms against Benjamin and Haas?

Jerry Lawler: Benjamin and Haas reunite tonight to fight their rivals right now but what can we expect from this match?

Match #5
Matt Striker and Gregory Helms vs. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas

Match Overview: Good tag match as which could be expected from these men. Main things to note are that Striker’s buddy Test is at ringside during the match watching and supporting his team of Helms and Striker. Benjamin and Haas work well together in their match as they are reuniting for the first time in a while. Helms and Benjamin don’t get into the ring very much as Helms show that he doesn’t want to get worn down and ruin any chances if he gets another match against Benjamin in the near future. Striker grabs Benjamin and sends him off the ropes. Test trips up Benjamin, as Striker grabs Test and delivered a huge DDT! Haas tries to come in but Helms kicks Haas low in the gut, then runs right off the ropes and delivers a huge Shining Wizard! Striker gets Benjamin up and kicks Benjamin in the gut once more, and then follows through delivering his finisher, the Golden Rule! And Helms then takes advantage and throws his opponent to the outside of the ring, and then leaps onto Benjamin for the cover. One…Two…Three!!!

Winners: Matt Striker and Gregory Helms

We then cut back down to ringside to the commentating team.

Jim Ross: Gregory Helms capitalizes on Matt Striker’s finisher and takes advantage tonight gaining a huge win.

Jerry Lawler: Very controversial but it’s a win nevertheless, Helms certainly has a title shot in his future coming soon.

Jim Ross: Both men put on a classic at Backlash, which is already being considered a match of the year candidate, what can come next?

Jerry Lawler: More match of the year candidates! Right now, Todd Grisham is standing by in the back with Gregory Helms!

We cut backstage to see Todd Grisham standing by with Gregory Helms.

Todd Grisham: Gregory, we just saw your match in which saw Matt Striker deliver the Golden Rule but you took advantage.

Gregory Helms: That’s right Todd and right now, you’re looking at the next Intercontinental Champion in Gregory Helms! Because since I did beat Shelton Benjamin tonight, Mr. McMahon told me that starting next week, you’re going to see the best series of matches ever because the Best of 7 Series starts next week!

Todd Grisham: Well, that’s huge news and with such a major match next week, it makes me wonder can you take advantage and win Match Number 1?

Gregory Helms: Of course, I’m Gr…

???: Excuse me?

We then cut over to see Shelton Benjamin step into the scene.

Shelton Benjamin: Next champion huh?

Gregory Helms: That’s right.

Shelton Benjamin: Please! You might have taken me to the limit at Backlash, but this Best of Seven Series, this is just my specialty. I can beat you in any match, anywhere, any time and that was shown last week whenever the greatest athlete on Raw did beat you.

Gregory Helms: No, I don’t believe so Shelton. Actually, the greatest athlete is standing right here, right in front of your eyes! Because tonight was no fluke, tonight was my chance at heading towards the top, heading towards the Intercontinental title and I took advantage, which should be worrying you a lot right now!

Shelton Benjamin: There’s no worrying because this title, isn’t going anywhere. Because there ain’t no stopping me now!

Benjamin walks off as he taps his title. Helms looks on as we then cut to a commercial.

We cut to a black screen before we see classic clips from ECW roll. We see Rob Van Dam leaping over barricades into the crowd.

Narrator: For one night, ECW makes it’s awaited return to the Hammerstein Ballroom, where the dream began last year!

Images of 2005’s ECW One Night Stand are shown with fans cheering for support and the ending with ECW prevailing over WWE.

Narrator: All the names will be there, that’s right the ECW Originals are set to invade and conquer on this special night in New York!

Images of Sandman and Dreamer fighting in last year’s main event, we see Dreamer power bombed through the flaming table.

Narrator: A wish that began 13 years ago, makes it’s return back towards the top, Extreme Championship Wrestling!

Images of the old ECW are shown with their first PPV, Barely Legal and the famous stare down between Taz and Sabu.

Narrator: But for this special one night, the fans will all gather and remember that ECW truly does live on today!

Fans are shown across arenas chanting E..C..Dub! E…C…Dub! We see fans wearing old ECW shirts as we head back to the narrator.

Narrator: And with the fans fully behind them, these men will lay not only their bodies but also their lifes on the line tonight!

More extreme moments are shown from ECW as we hear E…C…Dub Chants break out and continue on for a little bit.

Narrator: ECW One Night Stand II!

The ECW One Night Stand logo comes across before we then cut back to the narrator real quickly as Let the Bodies Hit the Floor plays.

Narrator: Sunday June 11, 2006 from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City!

Finally, we close out cutting across old ECW shows before we see Paul Heyman in the back, we then cut to him quickly.

Paul Heyman: ECW’s back….and we’re about to take it to the extreme! Are you ready?

We cut down to ringside for the main event.

Match #6
Rob Van Dam vs. Kane

Match Overview: Good main event which shows that Rob Van Dam can put on a great match with a big man such as Kane. Kane starts dominating towards the end whenever McMahon tripped RVD up in the ropes which turned the tide. Right now Heyman is cheering on Van Dam trying to get the WWE Champion back into this non-title match. Kane takes down Van Dam with a series of clotheslines, and then makes his way onto the top rope. Kane looks as if he’s ready to take flight as he leaps off the ropes and delivers a huge Flying Clothesline taking the champion down onto the mat and the match seems in Kane’s favor. Kane starts to signal for the Chokeslam and he raises his hand in the air. Kane gets RVD in the air but while RVD is in mid-air, RVD reverses the Chokeslam with a huge DDT! The fans start going wild as the match is back in the favor of the champion. McMahon tries to slide into the ring and stop the turning of the match. But Heyman grabs McMahon’s foot and pulls him to the outside. We see Triple H come down the ramp with a sledgehammer. Triple H looks to measure up RVD with the Sledgehammer and as he starts running, he misses Van Dam and runs into the corner. Van Dam then spins around delivering a huge Spinning Heel Kick sending HHH to the outside of the ring. Van Dam leaps onto the top rope, then jumps off as Kane lay on the mat and delivers the Five Star Frog Splash! One…Two…Three!!!

Winner: Rob Van Dam

RVD rolls around in celebration but he can’t for too long as Kane sits up! The fans boo and RVD doesn’t know. Kane grabs Van Dam looking for the Chokeslam but Triple H slides in and delivers a huge lowblow to RVD. Kane watches as Triple H gets a chair from Mr. McMahon. Triple H grabs the chair and measures Van Dam up, then bashes the champion right across the head. The fans start to boo now as Triple H throws the chair on the ground, then lifts Van Dam up for the Pedigree onto the chair! However down comes a few ECW Originals running as Heyman is waving them down to the ring. Balls Mahoney, Al Snow, CW Anderson, Tommy Dreamer, and Danny Doring slide in and help up RVD. Heyman slides into the ring now as he helps RVD up. All five of the ECW originals plus RVD and Heyman are in the ring now watching as Mr. McMahon, Triple H, and Kane back their way up the ramps. The scene cuts out with ECW in the ring right now.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

WWE Monday Night RAW -- Monday May 8, 2006 -- Review
It’s nice to see a match-up kicking off RAW because since few weeks, we are seeing promos to kick off RAW. It’s always nice to see a change. Hmm, Carlito takes yet another victory against Masters and God knows what’s stored for this guy. I hope that we do not see Carlito vs. Masters again. Give us any other fresh feud.

Very interesting promo here. To be honest, I really loved this one. Both men were in character. Well, I do wonder what’s the ‘surprise’, which HBK is talking about. Umm… I guess I’ll see that next week. A good victory for John Cena here. I wonder what’s next for Cena. Maybe a program with someone at the ECW One Night Stand II? We’ll see…

Um, this promo was great. Vince was in character. Heyman was also in character. However, I wanted to see more in length. Just feeling that it was short, a bit. Build-up to the ONS has begun and this was a good one to start with. Jeff Hardy’s returning? Oh nice...

Just a normal type of women’s match here with Beth picking up the victory. Women’s division is really bland at the moment. Try to add something here to make it interesting. I see, the new and improved Chris Jericho. This gimmick could be interesting. Highlight Reel next week with HBK, that’s gonna be huge!

As expected, the debut ones, Highlanders pick up a well-deserved win here. Glad that these guys are now in your BTB because your tag team division is really lacking. It is plain boring to be honest. I hope that you do something unique in this division now.

Very good comments by Matt Striker here. He was right on the spot. Length was okay and the promo also flowed superbly. Let’s see if he can keep his words or not. Yes, Matt Striker certainly did, as the heels pick up a victory over faces here. Maybe Strikers would now go to feud with the Intercontinental Champion? Best of 7 matches series could be great. I thought you were inserting Striker in the title picture.

A great main-event here with all those run-ins, interference’s. And in the end, the fans favorite, Rob Van Dam picks up a well-deserved victory. Aftermath to this one was really cool, as it hypes the return of the ONS. Glad that the ECW Originals came up and save Rob Van Dam from WWE guys.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Realism: 9/10- I love the whole cruiserweight picture happening with Benji, Helms, and such. Also the whole ECW storyline is panning out great. Kane vs. RVD was a good main event and the chaos at then edn made it very believeable and hyped this feud even greater!

Length- 8/10- A good length, for the fact you use recaps. Good promo usage, and nice way to elaborate on the situations aftet they happened.

Entertainment/Fun to Read- Very entertaining, and very enjoyable. Like I said, I love the whole ECW storyline, and the cruiserweights. And Mr. Kennedy is the man! Keep it up, this is great! 10/10!

Anticipation- I am anticipating the next show greatly. You have built everything near perfection for next week! I really want to see how HHH, Kane, and others will react to ECW!

Overall- Great show with lots of action! Keep up the awesome work man! 92/100 A!

And if you get the time my 1st show is up in WWE: Revolution Check it out!

Keep up the awesome work, can't wait for next week!

WWE: Blood, Sweat, and Honor BTB, written by F4L, and Dubbz4President, Click Banner, and Read/Comment/Review! Thanks, and all will be repped and appreciated!

Nominated for Best New Booker for March 2007

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Smackdown 10-26-2006, 06:57 PM

Realism: I think that it was a very realistic show. I just wouldn't think somebody like Kennedy could beat the hell out of Lashley but i aint deducting points for that

Length: I think the Edge thing ran for way too long and maybe too many matches for 2 hours worth.

Quality / Entertainment: However this show was amazingly well written and i really wanted to read to the end.

Spelling / Grammar: No Mistakes at all

Matches / Booking: There were some very good matches and i would want to watch them from start to finish
