Re: WWE Unleash the Fury
Well, KOPV1, thanks for reviewing what I have done so far. I see you're set to drop a PPV, and really dont have an extremely recent show for me to review. So I will give some predics for Backlash, most of which will obvioulsy be shot in the dark, and then you can rest assured that you'll recieve a full Review from me on Backlash, and all post-Backlash shows.WWE Presents Backlash 2006
Live Sunday April 30, 2006
Official Theme Song: Move Along by The All-American Rejects
Rob Van Dam (c) vs Kurt Angle
I know RVD challenged Angle at Mania, after winning the Rumble. I saw your posters, and peeked at the thread from time to time when I was not booking. So, in that case, Van Dam CANNOT lose. I just can't see all the buildup, to lose the next month. Unless he is going to take it right back. I am not always against a series of title drops, creating a series of short term reigns. It doesn't happen often, but if done right, it can create some good excitement.
Shelton Benjamin (c) vs Gregory Helms
I dunno. I see Helms is one of your favorites, and it would make sense to push him here before everyone else does. And a title change is always good for PPV, and with RVD likely retaining, this may be the one to drop. However, these two could have some great matches, so perhaps this one will end in a smoz in order to prolong the feud, leaving Backlash with no definite winner.
World Tag Team Championships
3MW (c's) vs Eugene and Goldust
Can't see a title change here. Jamal and Rosey need much better competition. Eugene and Goldust is cute, and with proper buildup could be fun, and win the belts. But I am doubting they were at Mania in the title match, and with this being the PPV to follow Mania, I cant see them being ready or over enough to take the belts.
Women's Championship - Handicap Match
Mickie James (c) vs Trish Stratus and Ashley Massaro
Don’t really know the scoop behind this match, other than at a glance it seems like an elongated version of WWE's storyline early this year. Anyway, I'll go with Mickie, after Ashley turns on her...? Who knows?
Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Triple H and Kane
Special Referee: Vince McMahon
Special Enforcer: Shane McMahon
Seems the babyface team would be these two, and I cant see that the McMahon's are there to help HBK and Austin. Therefore, I see the two legendary competitors defying the odds, and winning this bout.
Steel Cage Match
John Cena vs Chris Jericho
I think Cena and he fought at you Mania, with Cena coming out on top. I just think Jericho deserves this win. Hopefully he'll get it, though it won't hurt my feelings either way.
Matt Striker w/ Test vs Charlie Haas
Decent undercard match I guess. I am going with Test making sure Striker wins. BTW, is the big dumby Striker's "student"?
Carlito vs Chris Masters
Carlito rules, Masters drools. Period.
Looks good KOP. Can't wait to read it.

Now onto some stuff for the thread, many things are about to change. I think you'll all like them and some you may not. Don't forget too that Open Season begins the Raw after Backlash and will last for a two months. Many people might jump ship early, some may not. But anyways, some major things will be happening soon and it's going to be great, so stay tuned after Backlash (don't forget to review Backlash though!) and expect some great things to come.
Open season seems good, people who feel opressed will leave their brands to the other one. This could be very interesting. It is a lot better than what you did last time with all the draft changes occuring right at Wrestlemania. This is a lot more refined and worthy of a BTB veteran.
As I have said before, I cannot wait to read and review Backlash.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury
We open up with the WWE The Power is Back video playing across the screen before we cut out to a black screen. We then cut out to see a WWE ring sitting in the dark; Rob Van Dam is sitting in the corner of the ring with his knees up to his chest. We then hear the WWE Champion speak as the lights remain off.
Rob Van Dam: They say dreams never could happen…but at WrestleMania I did accomplish my dream.
Closing clips of Rob Van Dam flying off the turnbuckles delivering the Five Star Frog Splash and beating Kurt Angle for his WWE Championship are shown. We then cut back into the pitch-black arena to see Kurt Angle dancing around in the ring doing his famous dance.
Kurt Angle: There has always been a time for revenge; a time to get back what is yours and tonight is that night! Oh it’s true! It’s Damn True!!!
Images of Angle in their WrestleMania match against Rob Van Dam are shown with Angle falling just short of walking back home with the WWE Championship still intact. We then cut into the arena to see another wrestler, this time being John Cena!
John Cena: People with revengeful natures, they end up paying. And tonight inside of the destructive 15-foot cage, I vow for revenge!
Images of Cena being beaten down by Chris Jericho for the past few months are shown including Kenny flying off the top turnbuckle onto the steel chair which crashed onto Cena’s face. We then cut into the pitch-black arena once more, this time being Chris Jericho!
Chris Jericho: Forget all the times I’ve lost, tonight we enter a different environment and this environment is perhaps the most dangerous one in the WWE! Tonight, I get what happens to be mine, revenge!
Images of Jericho and Cena’s match at WrestleMania are shown with Cena walking away with another win over Jericho. We then head into the black room once more, this time being with Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold.
Shawn Michaels: You come to know that whether the odds are against you or not, you can still walk away with a win and tonight, that’s what’ll happen!
Stone Cold Steve Austin: And that’s the bottom line…’Cause Stone Cold said so!
Images of Austin making his return to the WWE are shown with him crashing the match between Shawn Michaels and Triple H. We then cut back into the black arena once more while in the ring is Triple H.
Triple H: Tonight is about one thing tonight is for payback. Tonight is the night that the King dethrones two people from their thrones and heads back towards the top!
We then see some images of other wrestlers involved tonight picking up speed. The fans are watching as we see the images slow down. We then cut back to the black arena and we hear a narrator speak before the ending of the package.
Narrator: Tonight is indeed revenge; tonight is the night of Backlash!!!
Right as Backlash is said, the pyro sets off as we head into the arena. The fans are wild at the TD Banknorth Garden and we head to the stage. We see on the stage there is the classic hooks with red, black, and white lights around them. The titantron tonight is formed from a hook and we then head down to the announcer’s at ringside.
Jim Ross: Hello everyone and welcome to the ninth annual Backlash! Tonight is such a major night and let’s run down the card.
Jerry Lawler: So much at stake and a Steel Cage Match between Cena and Jericho but don’t forget the other matches.
Jim Ross: Another huge match up happens to be HBK and Stone Cold taking on Triple H and Kane with the McMahon’s at ringside.
Jerry Lawler: And don’t forget about the main event, WrestleMania 22 Rematch! RVD defends against Kurt Angle tonight!
Matt Striker…Your Teacher! Hits and Matt Striker and his bodyguard Test come walking out onto the stage, Striker heads down the ramp to begin the night with Test following. Striker gets into the ring and climbs onto the top turnbuckle taunting the fans with Test walking around pumping Striker up for his match up tonight.
Jim Ross: Matt Striker has been on a roll as of recently and tonight, he very well could be finding himself with a win.
Jerry Lawler: JR, Striker and Test have to be the most dominate team here in the WWE now and they’ve shown why.
Lilian Garcia: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from New York City, New York, weighing in at 237 pounds, Matt Striker!!!
World’s Greatest hits and outcomes Charlie Haas! The fans are glad to see Haas tonight and he leaps into the air before slapping his legs. Haas then comes charging down into the ring and slides in before meeting up with Striker. Striker looks set to go and Haas looks ready too.
Jim Ross: Charlie Haas is pumped for tonight and why shouldn’t he be? It’s his return on PPV to the WWE tonight!
Jerry Lawler: Haas came back two weeks ago and defeated Test but can he defeat Striker tonight here to begin the show?
Lilian Garcia: And his opponent from Edmond, Oklahoma, weighing in at 242 pounds, Charlie Haas!!!
Charlie Haas vs. Matt Striker
Haas and Striker lock up in the ring with Test looking on the outside. Haas quickly takes down Striker with an armbar drag! The fans are cheering for Haas as Striker looks disappointed early on and Striker gets back up. Striker comes charging at Haas but Haas ends up catching Striker with once more another armbar drag! Striker can’t believe it and then he comes charging at Haas one more time, which Haas of course connects with another armbar drag! Test is in the corner helping Striker and telling him something to which Striker agrees.
Striker is back to his feet now and heads into the middle of the ring to lock up with Haas, Striker then kicks Haas in the gut taking advantage. Striker then grabs Haas and brings him into the corner before bashing his head off the turnbuckle. Test looks pleased now and that must have been the plan that Test was telling Striker. Striker quickly regroups and grabs Haas before sending his opponent to the ropes across the ring. Haas comes running back at Striker but gets taken down by a Shoulder Block, Striker quickly covers.
It’s not going to be enough to keep down Haas though and Striker is apparently aware of that. Striker does though look a little disappointed but he gets right back up not too worried and starts focusing back on Haas. Striker is able to grab Haas and he applies a headlock to slow the match down but focus on the wearing down of Haas. Striker pulls hard on the neck of Haas and is continuing to do so still trying to focus on the neck of Haas. Striker then motions to Test and Test reaches his hand out. Striker grabs Test’s hand and then Test pulls. Test is shifting the weight to Haas and the referee doesn’t even know it.
Striker quickly breaks his hand free with Test before the referee can come over and see it, the referee questions Striker but Striker says he did nothing. The fans boo Striker and Haas is starting to look like he’s out of it. The referee checks on Haas and drops his hand and it falls. The referee motions that two more times means the end of the match. The referee grabs the hand of Haas once more and again, it falls. Finally, the referee raises the hand of Haas once more and it fa..stays up! Haas elbows Striker in the gut and is starting to get back into the match up.
Striker is getting elbowed again by Haas. Haas is getting back up onto his feet, he elbows Striker hard once more and is out. Striker then gets thrown into the ropes by Haas. Haas comes charging at Striker and takes him down with a flying clothesline. The fans are behind Haas now as he certainly seems to be filling it now. Haas then grabs Striker as he gets up and nails an Overhead Suplex sending Striker crashing down onto the mat. Haas then leaps onto Striker and takes advantage of the teacher being down for a cover.
Striker is able to kick out and keep this match up going in the early goings. Haas gets Striker up off the mat and sends him into the ropes. Striker however stops before he runs into the dropkick of Haas, which makes Haas fall on the mat. Striker then goes over and grabs Haas off the mat and picks him up for a Powerbomb, however Haas quickly slides off the shoulders of Striker before any damage can be done. Haas waits in the corner for Striker telling him to come at him. Striker knows Haas is trying to distract him and stays put not moving at all.
Striker then tells Haas he can come at him if he wants some. Haas doesn’t move and Striker finally gives in charging at Haas in the corner. Haas sidesteps Striker though and then bashes the head of Striker off the turnbuckle. Haas then grabs the head of Striker and bashes it numerous times off the turnbuckle as Striker holds his head. Haas grabs Striker and bounces him off the ropes before sending him across the ring. Striker though doesn’t come back as he slides out of the ring taking a quick break from the match up in which he has been worn down a lot right now.
Striker points at his head saying he’s smart as Haas goes to the outside. Striker though slides back into the ring and then starts bringing the boot down as Haas gets in. Striker did outsmart his opponent right there and this could be just the advantage he needs right about now to possibly end up taking the match up. Striker grabs Haas off the mat and picks him up delivering a Vertical Suplex sending Haas down onto the mat. Striker then finds himself heading over into the corner and climbing onto the top turnbuckle.
Striker climbs the turnbuckles positioning himself to be prepared to leap off the turnbuckle, something we’ve yet to see Striker do. Striker takes his time though not wanting to mess anything up but Haas quickly runs up the turnbuckles. Haas beats Striker across the head a few times, then does hits Striker across the chest before grabbing Matt Striker. Haas carefully makes his way up onto the top turnbuckle along with Striker! The fans are going wild as Haas and Striker are both on the top, Haas then comes down with the Haastruction, his version of the Spinning Belly to Belly Suplex and the fans go wild. Haas has to inch over a little but he does end up getting the cover.
Haas looks a little frustrated as he certainly thought that he had a chance to end the match there and walk away with a win in his PPV return match. Striker though doesn’t want the match to end in the favor of Haas at all. Test is on the outside trying to get Striker back into the match up as Haas grabs him and sends him into the ropes. The teacher comes back and runs right into Haas, Haas catches Striker with a Bridging Northern Lights Suplex and he holds the bridge. The referee jumps down and slaps the mat for the count.
Striker kicks out of Haas’s third pin fall count there and then tries to get back up. However Haas comes running and brings a knee straight into the gut of Striker. Striker screams out holding his gut while Test looks on. Haas follows up by grabbing Striker and hitting him across the back a few times and then grabs Striker before sending him into the corner. Striker goes flying and lands hard in the corner while Haas prepares for some type of move. Haas comes charging at Striker but Striker sees him and tosses him out of the ring, though with great agility, Haas ends up landing on the apron and waits for Striker to turn around.
Striker looks to take a break thinking that he has Haas down on the outside but Test yells at Haas to turn around and look. Striker shoots around quickly knowing that Haas must be up and Haas sees Striker coming at him. Haas ducks after a swinging clothesline from Striker, which Haas follows up with a headbutt through the middle rope to Striker’s gut. Striker complains once more holding his gut while Haas leaps onto the top rope. Haas looks to jump onto Striker but Striker finds enough energy to run over and push Haas off the ropes sending him to the outside and landing back first onto the barricade! The fans yell out “Holy Shit” as Haas is down on the outside!
A quick replay is shown of the move while Striker goes to the outside and grabs Haas throwing him up against the barricade once more. Haas clenches his back in pain knowing that he could very well have lost the match up taking that major chance. Striker shows no remorse not giving up and showing he can win the match up. Striker grabs Haas and sends him into the ring and Striker slides into the ring looking to go to work on Haas. However, Striker thinks smart and decides to make a cover to possibly win the match up.
Haas won’t let Striker win that easily and he’s shown that so far. Striker looks disappointed that he couldn’t have taken the match up there and Striker slides to the outside. Striker looks up under the ring and he apparently doesn’t see anything he wants. The referee warns Striker to get back into the ring or he’ll be counted out. Striker gets back in and gets Test to do his dirty work for him while he distracts the referee. Test pulls Haas to the outside of the ring and clubs Haas on the back, before he sends the former Tag Team Champion into the steel steps. Test then quickly tosses the worn down Haas back into the ring.
Striker doesn’t do the smart thing though and go for a cover, but instead he chooses to work and wear down the body of Charlie Haas. Striker grabs Haas up off the mat and sends him into the corner. Striker finds this to be his chance now before he comes running at Haas in the corner. Haas quickly moves before he can be hit and Striker stops himself. Haas grabs Striker as he turns around and connects with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. The amateur side of Haas is coming out now and he yells out signaling he’s ready to end it!
Haas awaits Striker to get back up but doesn’t hesitate to put the boot to Striker. Haas turns around to see Test try to interfere. However the ref didn’t notice Test slip a pointing stick to Striker. Striker conceals the weapon and waits for Haas. Striker then sees Haas coming after him and he goes to whack his opponent with the pointing stick. However, Haas notices this, and quickly moves before any damage can be done. Hass catches Striker as he turns around and delivers an Exploder Suplex taking a lot out of Striker there. Haas then calls for the referee and he makes the cover as the fans count down!
Foot on the ropes! Test put the foot of Striker on the ropes continuing the match up as Haas argues with the referee. Haas certainly knew the match was his there as he looks at the foot of Striker. Haas doesn’t say anything after to the referee as he simply drags Striker into the middle of the ring. Haas grabs the legs of Striker and locks in the Haas of Pain! Striker yells out in pain as the deadly submission move has been locked on the former teacher! The fans are yelling as this match up could very well be going towards Charlie Haas!
Haas continues to pull on the leg of Striker as Striker tries his best to find somehow and someway to break the hold. Striker looks like he’s going to give up as he might have no other choice but he starts dragging himself over to the ropes. Test sees this opportunity now as Test grabs Striker’s hand and pulls Striker over to the ropes. Striker grabs the ropes and Haas has no clue what just happened, however he does see Test on the outside and he knows that Test had something to do with it. Test pulled Striker across pulling Haas along too breaking the hold and now Haas wants revenge.
Haas stares down Test on the outside and tells him to come into the ring, Test jumps onto the ropes but gets knocked off quickly by Haas. Haas then looks to leap onto the outside onto Striker’s protégé Test but Striker pushes Haas off the ropes. Haas comes back into the arms of Striker who doesn’t hesitate and delivers the Golden Rule! It’s Striker’s version of an Inverted Overdrive and the fans start to boo the hell out of Striker. Striker doesn’t listen to them and covers Haas as Test looks on the outside!
Lilian Garcia: Here is your winner, Matt Striker!
Match Length: 10 Minutes, 23 Seconds
Jim Ross: Mat Striker has walken away with a win tonight and it seems that he couldn’t have beaten Haas without Test!
Jerry Lawler: That’s not true JR, Striker just wanted a little help tonight and that is exactly what he got from Test.
Jim Ross: Help my ass! Striker knew that Test was going to help him before the match even began and you know that too King!
Jerry Lawler: Yeah right JR but right now from what I’ve understood, we have a special announcement right now concerning a returning superstar!

Jerry Lawler: Who knows JR! I’m just excited because that lunatic is back and you never know what will happen with Hardy!
3 Minutes hits and out comes 3 Minute Warning carrying their World Tag Team Championships down to the ring. Jamal and Rosey slide into the ring and taunt the crowd with their tag titles as the fans start to boo Jamal and Rosey. Jamal and Rosey climb the turnbuckles before handing their Tag titles over to the announcer at ringside.
Jim Ross: Perhaps one of the most dominant teams in the WWE is 3 Minute Warning and tonight, they have a daunting task?
Jerry Lawler: What’s their task JR? Beating three retards? That seems hard to do to me as far as it’s concerned.
Lilian Garcia: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the World Tag Team Championships! Introducing first, weighing in at 708 pounds, they are the World Tag Team Champions! Jamal and Rosey, 3 Minute Warning!!!
Child’s Play hits and out comes Eugene, Goldust, and Snitsky! Eugene’s jumping around for joy as Goldust blows on his hands. Snitsky simply walks down the ramp with his teammates as Eugene and Goldust get into the ring. Eugene and Goldust play to the crowd before the beginning of the match up, as the fans are ready for the match.
Jim Ross: Don’t you just love this duo? Eugene, Snitsky, and Goldust seem as if they could become the next tag champs.
Jerry Lawler: JR, you’ve got to be kidding me! They have to be the biggest retards here in the WWE and there’s no doubt about it.
Lilian Garcia: And introducing their opponents, weighing in at a combined weight of 504 pounds being accompanied to the ring by Snitsky, they are the team of Eugene and Goldust!
World Tag Team Championships
3 Minute Warning (c’s) vs. Eugene and Goldust w/Snitsky
Jamal takes no time going after Eugene crashing his head into the corner and it sends a sudden impact to the turnbuckles. Eugene clutches his head in the corner trying to get some feeling back into it but he can’t. Jamal shows no remorse though and beats down on the back of Eugene. Eugene falls down onto the mat holding his back now as he’s taking a beating early on. Jamal drags Eugene into the corner and quickly tags him in. Rosey gets into the ring and takes a quick hit on the back of Eugene knocking him down. Rosey then grabs one half of the challengers and easily slams him down onto the mat with a power slam.
Rosey kicks on the stomach of Eugene continuing to wear down the special superstar. Rosey follows it up with picking Eugene up and hanging him upside down on the turnbuckles. Rosey looks around before heading into the opposite corner. The big Samoan clotheslines Goldust off the ropes which angers ‘Dust. Rosey is distracted by Goldust which gives Eugene time to recover as he quickly sneaks behind the large behemoth, Rosey. Eugene quickly rolls up Eugene with all of his strength and he has the cover on Rosey.
Eugene looks surprised though and quickly leaps over and tags in Goldust. Goldust quickly comes into the ring and tries to take down the bigger Rosey with a clothesline. Rosey doesn’t budge however though and Goldust tries one more time. However Goldust charges at Rosey this time but Rosey simply replies with a kick to the gut, Rosey then simply follows up by sending the smaller Goldust into the turnbuckles and beating him down. Jamal calls for the tag which Rosey follows up with and makes the tag as Jamal gets into the ring beating down on Goldust. Jamal distracts the referee while Rosey chokes the life out of Goldust with the tag rope.
Jamal picks up the scraps left of Goldust in the corner and quickly send the freak into the ropes. Goldust goes off the ropes but stops. This means Jamal comes charging at Goldust to make him go over the ropes but Goldust ducks, then gets some help from Snitsky on the outside to pull the bigger Jamal down to the outside. Snitsky beats down Jamal on the outside helping his team get back into the match up and he quickly rolls Jamal back into the ring. Goldust takes advantage of this and quickly covers the larger Jamal hoping for a chance at victory and a chance at taking home the World Tag titles.
It was not meant to be for Goldust and Eugene tonight right there. Goldust gets the bigger Jamal back onto his feet and then sends Jamal into the ropes. Goldust comes charging at Jamal but Jamal ducks Goldust, and then punches him hard in the face. Goldust clutches his face as Jamal grabs Goldust’s head and bangs it off the turnbuckle, then sets Goldust on the turnbuckle looking to do something big tonight to Goldust. Goldust is sitting backwards on the turnbuckle as Jamal makes his way onto the top turnbuckle.
Jamal has a little bit of trouble gaining his balance, he’s seeming as if he can get his balance and keep it but he grabs Goldust. Jamal comes off the top turnbuckle hard with Goldust and delivers a nice Back Body Drop off the ropes! The ring shakes as the big man Jamal comes crashing down too and it looks as if both men could have been shaken up. With both men down, Jamal and Goldust are crawling towards the ropes to make tags. It’s looking difficult as if they’ll be able to but Jamal gets there first a few seconds before Goldust tags Eugene in.
Here come the two fresh men in Eugene and Rosey. Eugene goes to take down Rosey with a clothesline but he can’t. Eugene then gets a sudden idea and dropkicks Rosey on his knees bringing the monster down onto his knees. Eugene comes off the ropes and clotheslines down the bigger man bringing him all the way down to the mat. Eugene starts jumping up and clapping as if this could be it already now! Eugene then gets down on all four’s and then charges at Rosey while he’s down on the mat and delivers a Junkyard Dog like Headbutt!
The fans are clapping like wild for Eugene as Rosey continues to lie on the mat. Eugene then fakes pulling off his elbow pad! The fans go wild, as they know what’s coming now from the special superstar in Eugene! Eugene wants to get this over quick. Eugene runs off the ropes, leaps right over Rosey, comes back off the ropes once more and goes for the People’s Elbow! But wait, Rosey quickly rolls away as Eugene hits his elbow on the mat. Rosey sits up, as Eugene turns right around into the arms of the monster Rosey! Rosey comes crashing down onto the mat with a Samoan Drop! That’s got to be it for 3 Minute Warning there.
Eugene musters all the strength he can and he forces himself to kick out and keep the hope alive for the challengers. The monster Rosey drags the almost lifeless Eugene over into the corner as if he was a rag doll and makes the tag bringing in his fellow tag partner, Jamal. Jamal comes in as Rosey sends Eugene into the ropes. Jamal waits for a second, then charges across the ring almost beheading Eugene with a monstrous clothesline knocking down Eugene and bringing the special superstar down right onto the mat.
Jamal shows no remorse though for Eugene as he starts to taunt the smaller and dumber opponent of his by slapping Eugene. Eugene gets up though, slaps himself in the head as Jamal punches Eugene but Eugene slaps himself in the head again! Jamal does it one more time and this time Eugene heads to the corner and bangs his head off the turnbuckles. Eugene blocks a punch from Jamal, and then points as Jamal and as Hulk Hogan would do, Eugene yells out “YOU!” Eugene starts to go wild on Jamal throwing rampant left and right punches but gets knocked down by Jamal stopping his momentum and getting Jamal back into it.
Jamal then looks at the worn down Eugene and heads onto the top rope but waits for a minute, then heads back over to Eugene. Eugene gets slammed down onto the mat with another powerslam as Jamal heads onto the top turnbuckle. The fans are yelling for Jamal to miss it! Jamal sets himself up carefully and he looks to leap off the turnbuckles. Jamal, being one of the few big men who can fly looks down at Eugene, and then leaps into the air! The fans go wild as Jamal goes for a Flying Splash but Eugene moves! The body of Jamal comes down on the mat as Eugene quickly lunges over and tags in Goldust.
Goldust comes into the ring and grabs Jamal as he’s holding himself because of the huge tumble he just took on the mat. Goldust kicks the big monster in Jamal right in the gut, then grabs the head of Jamal and delivers a huge Bulldog! Goldust then taunts Jamal as he gets up; Goldust then kicks the large Jamal in the gut and goes for the Curtain Call! Jamal doesn’t hesitate though and quickly pushes Goldust into the turnbuckle. Goldust stops himself as Jamal comes charging, Goldust lifts back and kicks Jamal in the groin! The ref was distracted as Rosey came into the ring therefore not causing a DQ. Goldust makes a quick cover!
Jamal quickly gets his shoulder up not being able to kick out for the pain that he is in right now and keeps the hopes alive. Goldust then heads into the corner and tags back in Eugene. Eugene comes in as Goldust helps up Jamal! Goldust and Eugene then kick Jamal in the gut simultaneously and follow up trying to pick the large Jamal up. However Jamal powers off the duo of Eugene and Goldust and knocks them down with a double clothesline knocking both men down as Goldust slides to the outside, as he’s no longer the legal man.
Rosey gets the tag from Jamal and he comes in. Rosey starts to beat down on Eugene and he sends him straight into the corner. Eugene struggles up in the corner trying to get himself back up and he does so. However Rosey takes advantage and charges across the ring for a Splash into the corner but Eugene notices this! Eugene takes this time to quickly move and Rosey collides with the turnbuckles hard. Rosey struggles out of the corner holding his chest as he’s in pain now! Rosey is clutching his chest as Eugene then grabs Rosey right off the mat.
Eugene then grabs the bigger man but in comes Jamal! Jamal comes in trying to cost Eugene the match but Snitsky gets in, Big Boot right to the face of Jamal and the power of the kick sends Jamal straight to the outside. Snitsky slides out before anything can happen as Rosey staggers around before walking right into a kick from Eugene to the gut! Eugene shows amazing power and he struggles a little bit and tries to get Rosey up for a Rock Bottom but he’s not able to do so. Rosey looks around to make sure Snitsky or Goldust aren’t in the ring and then Eugene comes at Rosey. Rosey comes crashing down hard with a Samoan Drop as he covers Eugene for the win?
Lilian Garcia: Here are your winners and STILL World Tag Team Champions, 3 Minute Warning!!!
Match Length: 8 Minutes, 14 Seconds
Jim Ross: Somehow, someway 3 Minute Warning were able to retain their titles tonight and it took effort to do it.
Jerry Lawler: Eugene and Goldust showed they weren’t going to be a walk in the park and they put up a good fight.
Jim Ross: Eugene always has great heart but as far as Goldust goes, well who knows what kind of heart he has!
Jerry Lawler: 3MW have dominated the Raw tag division recently but could the end to their reign be coming very soon?
We cut backstage to see Mr. McMahon pacing around the room; Shane is sitting on the couch watching his father.
Mr. McMahon: Damnit Shane! Get up!
Shane McMahon: Yes sir.
Mr. McMahon: Shane, tonight we’re going to go out there and not only embarrass the hell out of Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin, not only end their careers, but more like execute their careers!
Shane McMahon: Ok dad bu…
Mr. McMahon: But nothing Shane! Tonight the odds are in our favor. We stacked it so we could give Hunter and Kane a chance tonight. Plus the fact that I’m sick and damn tired of hearing and seeing both Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold each week!
Shane McMahon: Yes dad, and sorry about that. Tonight we do have Shawn and Stone Cold, we beat them down Monday night and tonight will be no different, anything goes and I’ll do anything to make sure that we do come out victorious tonight.
Mr. McMahon: That’s the spirit Shane!
We see Shane and Vince hug.
Mr. McMahon: But remember this Shane, you screw anything up tonight or anybody else screw anything up, then it’ll be your job. I don’t care that you’re my soon, tonight is personal and tonight we will end the careers of one, Shawn Michaels, and one Stone Cold Steve Austin. And that’s the bottom line…
Shane and Mr. McMahon: ‘Cause the McMahon’s said so!!!
We see Vince and Shane laugh at their comment they stole from Stone Cold. The fans boo as the McMahon’s smile, and then go back to watching footage of old Austin/McMahon videos.
Jim Ross: Wow and if tonight the McMahon’s are like that, then there is no doubt that we’ll be seeing HBK and Austin lose.
Jerry Lawler: Strange certainly but coming up next, three former friends get it on in the ring as this bitter rivalry ends.
Jim Ross: We’re going to be seeing a huge Handicap Match for the Women’s Championship, a first time in the WWE.
Jerry Lawler: And the lady that gains the pinfall will become or remain the Women’s Champion, let’s get this started!
Keys to the City hits and out comes Trish Stratus along with her friend, Ashley Massaro. Trish and Ashley exchange hands with the fans before they slide into the ring. Trish heads into the corner and pulls on the ropes warming up. Ashley then tells Trish something before we see Ashley and Trish give each other high fives.
Jim Ross: And it’s time for some ladies action and as far as I know, the first lady to gain the pin fall wins the match up.
Jerry Lawler: Well of course JR but what happens if Trish or Ashley were to win it, would they be co-champions?
Lilian Garcia: The following contest is the Handicap Match and it is for the WWE Women’s Championship! Introducing first, they are the challengers, the team of Trish Stratus and Ashley Massaro!

Jim Ross: And there is our insane Women’s Champion, she must have something in her mind that makes her that damn crazy!
Jerry Lawler: Who knows JR but aren’t you ready for some puppies? I’ve been waiting all night to see some puppies!
Lilian Garcia: And her opponent, from Richmond, Virginia, she is the WWE Women’s Champion, Mickie James!!!

Lilian Garcia: Here is your winner and STILL WWE Women’s Champion….Mickie James!!!
Match Length: 9 Minutes, 6 Seconds
Jim Ross: And Mickie James remains the Women’s Champion tonight despite the fight that Trish and Ashley put up.
Jerry Lawler: No doubt JR and we have to wonder where this feud goes from here, could we see it continue or was tonight the end?
Jim Ross: Really can’t tell you King but this has been personal as of lately so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was to continue.
Jerry Lawler: Anyways, let’s head into the back right now as we’ve heard that Todd Grisham is standing by with Carlito.
We cut backstage to see Todd Grisham standing by with Carlito.
Todd Grisham: Carlito, in just a few moments you will be facing “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters, how do you feel right now?
Carlito: Carlito feels good right now, wait Carlito feels cool! Carlito knows that tonight will be the night that Carlito defeats Masterpiece. There’s no doubt in Carlito’s mind that I am greater than the Masterpiece and that tonight, Carlito will break the Masterlock!
Todd Grisham: Nobody has yet to break the Masterlock so what would happen if somehow you did get locked in the deadly hold?
Carlito: Carlito won’t even be put in the Masterlock and that’s a guarantee. Masterpiece can try the MasterLock on Carlito all he wants but it won’t happen. Carlito’s too fast and face it Masterpiece, Carlito’s just too cool for you!
Todd Grisham: One more thing Carlito, what can we expect to happen after you are finished with the Masterpiece?
Carlito: Carlito doesn’t know! Does Carlito look like some kind of freak looking into the future. But Carlito does now something and that he’s aiming ultimately for the WWE Championship and as far as Carlito is concerned, dat…dat’s cool!
Masterpiece hits and out comes, the “Masterpiece” Chris Masters. Masters does his normal entrance dropping the cape and kneeling down. Masters then suddenly pops up and flexes with the fans booing him as he continues down the ramp. Masters taunts the fans by flexing his muscles and telling them they’ll never have anything like them, Masters gets into the ring and awaits his opponent.
Jim Ross: It’s time for perhaps one of the most personal matches; the Masterpiece takes on Carlito in a battle of former friends.

Lilian Garcia: And his opponent from the Caribbean, weighing in at 220 pounds, Carlito!!!

Masters shows no worries as he holds Carlito there letting the blood rush to the head of Carlito. Masters waits for a few more seconds, then comes crashing down onto the mat with Carlito delivering a Delayed Vertical Suplex as the body of Carlito bounces off the mat with impact. Masters then heads right over to Carlito and makes another cover hoping for another chance here at victory.
Masters almost loses his mind after being robbed of another chance at defeating his opponent tonight and he might be running out of chances to win. Carlito backs right into Masters and Masters starts to apply the Masterlock but Carlito pushes Masters off of him and flips him over Carlito’s head. Masters lands hard on his back on the mat and Carlito heads into the corner to take a breather from the assault he has taken so far from the much larger Masters. We see Carlito in the corner awaiting his opponent Masters to recover.

Carlito has went through hell so far in the match up and is needing to find a way to take the win. Masters swings Carlito around. Masters is not going to let go this time of Carlito and this is apparent.
Carlito musters up a final amount of strength and uses everything he can to run backwards with Masters as he rams Masters into the turnbuckle. Nothing happens as Carlito tries it once more and once again, nothing happens. Carlito does it for the third time and it was his luck, Masters feels the pain in his back and is forced to break the Masterlock. Masters doesn’t have any clue what he just did as he turns around with his back facing Carlito. Carlito takes the chance to strike quickly as Carlito leaps onto the back of Masters and drives his knees into the back of Masters delivering the Back Cracker! Benjamin is not able to move right now but somehow, someway finds a way to get his shoulder up and keep the hope alive tonight. Helms has done too much stuff tonight to Benjamin already to keep him out of the match up and that’s already aware now. Helms sees Benjamin still knocked out and decides to take advantage. The agile superstar grabs Benjamin off the ropes and picks him up and sends him into the ropes. Benjamin comes right back at Helms and is caught with a Powerslam bringing the power of Helms down onto Benjamin.

A rare move from Benjamin but anything must be done in order to retain the championship!
Benjamin normally would cover but he rarely has any strength left right now to even bother about trying to make a cover. The fans are getting behind Benjamin now as he is starting to crawl towards the ropes and pull himself up. Benjamin is now heading up as the ropes help him up, he then sees that Helms is still down but Benjamin doesn’t worry. The champion is waiting by the ropes taking a break, and trying to cool down from the match, which has been aggressive so far early on. The fans see that Benjamin notices Helms is up now.

Benjamin then heads to the outside of the ring and finds himself on the apron on the outside, somewhere similar to where Helms was early on. Helms has no ideas Benjamin is on the outside right now on the apron. But Benjamin awaits Helms to come out and maybe even walk towards Benjamin right now. Benjamin sees Helms rising up, and then leaps onto the top rope. Benjamin takes down Helms with a Springboard Dropkick! The fans are going wild now as so much has been done in the match and this has shown throughout the duration. Benjamin reaches over and makes a cover on the challenger hoping for the win.

Benjamin still looks angered as he pulls himself up towards the ropes and gets right back onto his feet. The fans try to get behind the champion as he heads towards Helms and picks him up. However Helms slides off the shoulders of Benjamin, and then ends up running Benjamin stomach first. Benjamin grabs his stomach as Helms falls onto the mat knowing he has something on his side right now.
Helms has turned the match into his favor once again tonight but all the times he has so far, he hasn’t been able to keep the lead during the match too long. Helms gets back onto his feet and heads over to the top ropes. Helms seems as if he’s ready to be taking flight now as he did earlier with the amazing Spinning DDT off the top rope to Benjamin. The fans see Helms on the top rope and Benjamin has no clue what is going on. Helms sets himself up carefully as he doesn’t want to take too big of a risk and maybe ruin the match and injure himself.
Helms now sees Benjamin recovering as Helms sets himself up once more. Benjamin is wondering around the ring, trying to get his feeting back while Helms takes advantage of Benjamin being down waiting on the champion. Helms leaps off the top rope just as Benjamin turns around and the impact sends Benjamin straight back. Helms delivers an amazing Crossbody and the fans are cheering right now for this great match. The fans go wild as they think they know what could be coming next, perhaps the ending for Helms. Benjamin grabs Helms and instead of going for his finisher, Benjamin ends up connecting with a Northern Light Suplex and Benjamin keeps the bridge! The referee makes the count for Benjamin as the fans cheer.
Benjamin looks at the referee, just like Helms did moments ago surely thinking the match had to be over there but the ref tells him no and the match will continue on. Benjamin starts to size up Helms, trying to find a way to go ahead and end the match off. Benjamin then waits in the corner, and then comes at Helms as Helms recovers. Benjamin goes for the Superkick but Helms ducks the Superkick, then kicks Benjamin in the gut hard and delivers one of his finishers, the Vertebreaker! It’s the back to back double under hook sit out piledriver of Helms and the fans watch as Helms crawls towards Benjamin for another cover.
Helms stares at the ref in disbelief once more and we see the foot of Benjamin on the ropes. Helms doesn’t know it’s on the ropes and the referee has to show Helms proof that the foot was indeed on the bottom rope. Helms walks over towards Benjamin and gets him back onto his feet, hoping some chance he can try to finish off Benjamin right now and possibly even walk away with the Intercontinental Championship right now. Helms grabs Benjamin and pulls the champion right back onto his feet.

Benjamin grabs the challenger as he slowly turns around and walks right into the arms of Benjamin. Helms however pushes Benjamin off but Helms ends up catching the foot of Benjamin and Helms stands there laughing at Benjamin. Helms makes a major mistake as Benjamin swings around and delivers a Dragon Whip driving his foot straight into the back of the head of Helms knocking the challenger down and maybe out of it. Benjamin reaches over and covers Helms while he is down on the mat for the three count?
Benjamin can’t believe it again as he surely had the match won there but no chance, no way was it meant to be for the champion right there. Benjamin has done just about everything he could do tonight to Helms but it hasn’t been able to put away the challenger in this very competitive match up so far between these two athletes. Benjamin looks around the arena as the fans are still very behind him showing the support they need to help their superstar and the current Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin try to find a way to gain an all important victory.
Benjamin gets right back onto his feet, he then grabs the challenger off the mat and goes ahead and decides to finish off Helms. Benjamin kicks Helms in the gut hard, as Benjamin flips Helms for the T-Bone Suplex but Helms fights it off, and lands on his feet, then grabs the neck of Benjamin and delivers a gruesome Neckbreaker! The fans cheer for Benjamin as Helms heads to the corner, then sees it his opportune time as he charges across the ring and delivers a hard Shining Wizard straight to the back of the head of the champion! Helms jumps onto Benjamin making a cover and maybe for the title?
Wait! No! Helms looks down at Benjamin and sees Benjamin got a shoulder up therefore making the match continue on. Helms really can’t believe that he has done everything tonight include using two of his finishers and hasn’t been able to put away the champion yet. Helms heads over into the corner awaiting Benjamin to recover. Helms sees Benjamin recovering but waits in the corner not wanting to take any chances with the champion or do anything that could end up ruining his chances of retaining the title.

John Cena: And Jericho, you want to know something? You can try to take me down but when you mess with John Cena, you messing with all those fans out there. You are messing with the people that represent John Cena, the Chain Gang! And that’s a big mistake because tonight you’re heading into a Steel Cage Match against me.
John Cena: And all those times that you had the Spirit Squad assault me and all those times you tried to beat me down, well those times are coming back tonight because with the Chain Gang fully behind the Doctor of Thuganmoics, your ass will be grass after tonight because you’ve messed around with the wrong person and tonight you will pay inside of the cage.
John Cena: You Can’t See Me!!!
We then cut back into the arena for the next match up.
Break the Walls Down hits and out steps Jericho. Jericho comes out doing his normal taunt with his back turned to the fans, and then throws his arms into the air! Jericho runs right into a right straight from Cena showing Cena will not back down tonight and will do anything and everything necessary that he can to walk away with a win tonight for the Chain Gang. Cena catches Jericho and brings him to the corner and bashes the head of Jericho off the turnbuckles.
Jericho comes wandering off the turnbuckles holding his head now in pain and seems as if Jericho might have already lost the match, not even a minute into it. Cena grabs Jericho out of the turnbuckles and sends him into the opposing turnbuckles. The Doctor of Thuganomics takes his time as he taunts to the fans, then comes charging quickly at Cena clotheslining Jericho in the corner hard, which Jericho seems knocked out once again. Cena tries throwing Jericho into the cage but Jericho holds on for dear life, then takes the opportune time he was given and smashes Cena’s head straight into the cage. Cena wanders back holding his head while Jericho decides to take advantage early on of Cena being done and going ahead for a way out. Jericho heads into the corner on the turnbuckles and starts to slowly climb his way out of the cage.
Jericho is on the top turnbuckle now as he’s looking to cut across and make his way across the cage and right out of it. Jericho doesn’t know Cena is back up but finds out the hard way with a strike to the back courtesy of Cena. Cena pulls Jericho down onto the middle turnbuckle, and then scoops Jericho right into his arms. Jericho struggles for dear life trying to hold on not wanting to take risks this early on but nothing can be done. Cena lifts Jericho up and comes crashing down onto the mat hard with a Superplex off the ropes! Jericho clasps his back in pain while Cena is doing no better than Jericho is right now. Cena reaches over and makes the cover.
Cena had a feeling it wasn’t enough but didn’t want to escape a chance and not take it by going for the cover on Jericho. Cena doesn’t worry though as he gets right back onto his feet and is going to take advantage of what he has been given right now to try and wear down Jericho. Cena gets Jericho and brings him to the cage, then introduces Jericho to the cage by smashing Jericho’s whole body into the cage as Jericho winces in pain. Cena doesn’t care though for all the hell and pain that he has been put through the last few months by Jericho. Cena just looks down at Jericho and shows a sadistic type smile.
Cena grabs Jericho and then quickly throws him into the cage again as Jericho seems to be worn down now and there’s not much that the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla can do to save the match up. Cena grabs Jericho and throws him into the ropes showing a little mercy for Jericho but it’s apparent he doesn’t really care. Cena takes time and decides to come charging at Jericho but Jericho moves and delivers a drop toe hold bringing Cena’s face straight into the bottom turnbuckle. Cena seems now that Jericho has found a way to get back into it but the fans start to boo Jericho as he is starting to indeed comeback.
The fans want to get behind their hero, Cena and that’s what they are doing. Cena chants break out across the arena, as Jericho does nothing but laugh. Jericho sees that Cena is now getting up as Jericho decides to come charging at Cena. Jericho jumps into the air and brings Cena right back down with a Running Enziguri as Jericho holds himself from being thrown into the cage a few times earlier on tonight. Jericho heads right over to Cena and gets his balance up, then places his foot right on the body of Cena! Jericho is using his cocky pin but before he does so, he yells out the ever so famous words of his own “Come on, Baby!”
Cena kicks out to which Jericho seems surprised a little. Jericho didn’t think Cena stood a chance at regaining the match up and Jericho wants to show Cena something. Jericho walks over to Cena who is down on the mat, then tries to slap the taste right out of the mouth of Cena! Jericho turns around and dances yelling out “I’m the King of the World, baby!” More boos come in from the fans as Jericho continues to draw more heat from the fans. Jericho grabs Cena and throws him into the corner, then makes sure Cena is in place.
Jericho rares back for a backhand chop but Cena moves quickly and starts throwing rights quickly at the former Undisputed Champion. Cena grabs Jericho quickly and sends Jericho into the ropes. Jericho comes running right back into a back elbow straight from the former WWE Champion himself, John Cena. Cena grabs Jericho and takes him down with a clothesline, then follows up with another clothesline, then delivers the third and final clothesline. Cena seems as if he wants to go ahead and end the match up. The fans watch as Cena heads over to the steel cage and seems as if he is going to go ahead and start climbing the cage hoping he can gain the win.

Jericho sees Cena and runs up the ropes quickly trying to make sure Cena doesn’t stand a chance of getting out. Cena doesn’t know Jericho is coming but finds out as Cena gets blasted from behind. Jericho starts to slowly make his way up the ropes too trying to find a way to get to the outside. Jericho and Cena are climbing up against each other’s will, it’s a race now to determine who is going to make it to the outside of the ring before one or another does so.
Cena gets to the top but sees Jericho coming. Cena throws some rights at Jericho showing no remorse and showing that he will do anything to get Jericho down. Cena throws another punch at Jericho but Jericho blocks it, and then bashes the head of Cena off the top of the cage. Jericho doesn’t hesitate and throws Cena right off the top of the cage! Cena comes crashing down onto the mat and Jericho seems that he is going to crawl to the outside. But Jericho looks back at Cena, then sets himself up carefully and leaps off the top of the cage! Jericho went for a Moonsault off the cage but Cena was quick to roll away and Jericho collapses with the mat! Cena reaches over with the energy he has left for a cover.
Cena looks at the referee and sees that Jericho was able to get a shoulder up meaning that the match must continue on. We cut over to see that Jericho has blood trickling from his nose, as he must have hit his head pretty hard on the way down. Cena is moving towards the ropes trying to pull himself up and there is nothing the referee can do. There will be no count outs as anything does go and anything the superstars can get their hands on will be legal. Cena continues heading towards the ropes and pulls himself up but he is having trouble standing. It’s apparent that Cena is worn down but not as much as Jericho is right now!
Cena waits in the corner watching for Jericho, as Jericho hasn’t moved in at least a minute. The fans are watching Jericho as blood is on the mat, meaning he is still bleeding. The fans see Cena waiting in the corner patiently as Jericho is heading towards the ropes too. Cena apparently has had enough waiting and heads right over to Jericho pulling him up. Cena starts throwing punches at Jericho left and right and Jericho can’t defend himself. Jericho has nothing to do as he has been worn down for the past few minutes by the high-risk moves he has taken tonight. The ending to this match could very well be nearing soon.
Cena grabs Jericho and sends him right into the turnbuckles once again. Cena comes charging at Jericho and nails a huge splash in the corner, as Jericho can’t resist the damage. It seems to be wearing down Jericho even more now with everything that he has been taking from Cena and like early on in the match, Cena is showing no remorse. Cena will not let anybody or anything come between his revenge for Jericho tonight and that is very apparent. Cena grabs Jericho and slams him down onto the mat with a bodyslam before heading onto the middle ropes. The fans seem confused for what Cena is about to do.
The fans watch as Cena makes his way onto the top rope. The fans see Cena looking like he is about to jump but with the strength that he barely has right now, Jericho kicks the ropes making the fan favorite Cena fall right down to the mat! The fans go from cheers to jeers automatically as Jericho has to revolt to anything and everything to keep Cena down on the mat and keep him off of Jericho making further damage. Jericho lies down on the mat now, as it is apparent that he is back into it but is taking a break while Cena is down on the mat. Jericho laughs at Cena as the damage he has done in return for the damage Cena did to Jericho.
Jericho starts to carefully and slowly pull himself back into the match up now. The fans watch as Jericho head back towards Cena, then grabs the larger opponent of his. Cena heads towards the ropes and pulling himself up but out of nowhere, Jericho quickly grabs Cena and locks in the Walls of Jericho. Jericho pulls Cena towards the middle of the ring with the Walls of Jericho successfully locked in on Cena. Jericho is yelling at Cena “tap out, tap out” but it’s apparent that Cena cannot and will not let his fans down tonight with a loss such as being made to submit by Cena. Cena yells out trying to find a way to get out of the move as he can’t get out of it just yet.
Cena’s heading towards the ropes and he’s trying everything he can do and will do to find a way to break out of the Walls of Jericho! Cena is inching towards the ropes as he literally is inching and scrapping away at the mat, anything he can do he will do. Cena gets to the ropes finally and Jericho won’t let go of the hold. Jericho argues with the referee telling him something which Cena gets time to recover. Jericho gets into the ref’s face. Jericho heads back to Cena and slam him down right onto the mat with a power slam, then tells the referee to be ready to count.
Jericho looks down to make sure Cena is down as he continues to taunt not only Cena but all of Cena’s fans out there tonight. Jericho looks at Cena and does the “You Can’t See Me” taunt which automatically pisses the fans off. Jericho runs off the ropes and leaps onto the middle rope before leaping off and going for the Lionsault! Cena gets his knees up as we see Jericho down on the mat clutching his gut. Jericho has started to lose a little bit more blood from earlier on as somehow and someway he must have cut the gash he had. Cena starts heading towards the cage looking as if he wants to go ahead and book it out of here.
Cena however doesn’t try and get out of the ring but simply pulls himself up. Cena pulls himself up and grabs Jericho right up off the mat. Cena runs right over Jericho and leaps over him delivering the Throwback as Jericho’s head hits right off the mat. The fans watch as Cena looks at Jericho and picks him up once again. Jericho walks right into the hands of Cena who scoops Jericho up quickly and drives him down to the mat with the F-U. The fans are going wild as Cena heads towards the cage and starts climbing. Cena has no clue but we see the Spirit Squad run down the ramp. The Spirit Squad has a steel chair in each of their hands. Kenny and Mikey help Johnny to the top, and then toss a chair to Johnny. Johnny bashes Cena across the head with the chair forcing Cena to fall down to the mat once again.
All five members of the Spirit Squad then head over to where the door is at and pushes the referee away as he won’t open the door. Mitch then picks the lock and the cage is open which could be lethal right now for Cena. Cena is still down on the mat but gets picked right up by Kenny and Mikey. Kenny and Mikey send Cena into the ropes, Cena ducks them, and then takes both of them down with clotheslines. Cena grabs Mitch and throws him to the outside through the door, which Johnny walks right into Cena who delivers a DDT! Cena grabs Nicky finally before throwing Nicky straight into the cage as Nicky lands hard on the cage.
Mitch looks up under the ring on the outside and grabs a ladder! The fans watch as Mitch slides the ladder into the ring. Cena grabs Kenny and throws Kenny right into Mitch who has the ladder. The impact of Kenny brings Mitch right face first into the ladder, which hurts both Kenny and Mitch. Cena grabs the steel chair that he got bashed with, then beats Mikey across the head with the Steel Chair. Johnny grabs the ladder from Kenny and Mitch to Cena has no clue until it’s too late, Cena gets rammed in the head by the ladder.
Cena has been busted open automatically as blood continues to poor. Johnny heads towards Jericho helping him up as the fans boo the efforts of the Spirit Squad. We see Kenny heading up the steel cage but the fans don’t know why. The Spirit Squad point up at Kenny as Johnny has helped the others up despite the pain they have taken. Some can’t stand right now but we see Mikey, Johnny, Nicky, and Mitch all pick Cena up, then slam him down onto the mat. Kenny is on the top of the cage now as he looks down. Kenny leaps off the top rope delivering a picture perfect leg drop right off the top of the cage!
The Spirit Squad cheer on Jericho but mainly help Kenny. Kenny gets helped to the outside as he is in dire need of help right now with that huge leg drop. That leaves four of the members in the ring right now. The Spirit Squad grabs Jericho and drags him towards Cena placing him down onto Cena for a cover. The fans watch, as this could be the demise of Cena right now. Boos start to pour out around the arena.
Cena mustered enough strength to get a shoulder up meaning the match must continue on despite the blood that has been shed tonight. Jericho gets Cena up but Cena catches Jericho with a Side-to-Side Belly Slam. Cena tosses Mikey to the outside, throws Johnny to the outside, bashes Mitch’s head off the turnbuckle, then throws him to the outside and grabs Nicky and throws his head into the cage before throwing Nicky to the outside. Cena was able to gain strength that he needed to take down the Spirit Squad and get them out of the ring. The ref locks the cage as the Spirit Squad is all on the outside but the damage may have been done.
Jericho grabs the Steel Chair and goes to hit Cena with the chair! Cena ducks the chair shot, then grabs Jericho and kicks him in the guts before delivering a brutal DDT. Cena grabs the ladder, which was left in the ring and kicks it over towards the middle. Cena scoops Jericho right up despite Jericho struggling trying to slide off the shoulders but drops Jericho right down onto the ladder with the second F-U of the match. Jericho certainly is down as the fans are in awe! Cena heads towards the ropes and gets onto the top rope, then carefully climbs his way out to the top of the cage and drops down ending the match and maybe even the feud between Cena and Jericho!

Triple H and Kane vs. Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin
Special Referee: Mr. McMahon
Special Enforcer: Shane McMahon
We see Mr. McMahon head towards Michaels who is in the ring and checks him making sure he doesn’t have any weapons. Mr. McMahon feels all over Michaels making sure there are no weapons concealed anywhere. McMahon finishes, then Shawn asks him to check Triple H but Vince just simply ignores him. Shane McMahon is on the outside of the ring doing his normal job, as he will be enforcing no interference tonight. Kane steps into the ring with the Heart Break Kid and it seems we’ve got HBK and Kane locking it up first. Michaels runs off the ropes and tries to knock Kane down with a clothesline.
However Kane shows he will not back down and let Michaels overtake him. Michaels runs off the ropes again going for another clothesline but of course, Kane stays right back on his feet. Michaels runs off the ropes once more and leaps at Kane but Kane catches Michaels and scoops him up. Kane slams Michaels down hard into the mat with a thunderous power slam as the body of Michaels shakes on the mat with the hard impact. Kane laughs at Michaels down on the mat, then scoops him right up and throws Michaels into the corner. Kane heads to the opposite corner, then charges and takes down Michaels with a hard clothesline into the corner.
Kane taunts Michaels showing no remorse for the almost worn down Michaels and the match is only a minute through. Kane starts choking Michaels in the corner and McMahon heads towards the corner trying to get Kane off Michaels a little bit. It seems that McMahon is trying to keep it fair for a little bit right now at least but how long will it be. Kane grabs Michaels and chunks him across the ring with ease. Kane heads towards Michaels and decides to go ahead and make a cover for the match up, the first one of the match tonight so far!
A quick count from Mr. McMahon showing that he wasn’t going to let the match be fair after all, coming out and showing his true colors. McMahon looks down and watches the Big Red Machine get back to his feet, then drag Michaels over into the corner holding him up while he makes the hot tag into Triple H. Kane holds Michaels still up as Triple H rares back and throws a hard right landing right smack dab in the face of Michaels. Michaels clutches his face after that excruciating punch but Triple H simply grabs Michaels and doesn’t even worry. Triple H comes in and decides he is going to go ahead and start wearing down his former friend, Shawn Michaels.

Triple H is pulling on the foot of Michaels trying to keep Michaels away from the Texas Rattlesnake trying to come in. Michaels though leaps over quickly and tags in Austin. Triple H ran at Michaels but Austin comes in and Triple H scoots back, falling down right on his butt and Austin has Triple H in the palm of his hand right now. We look towards the outside to see Michaels trying to recover but Shane McMahon throws Michaels into the steel steps! The fans are booing, as that is not what Shane is supposed to be doing on the outside.
Back into the ring, Austin is beating down on Hunter. Austin ends up backing Triple H into the corner and starts to stomp a mud hole right into Triple H and walk it dry. Mr. McMahon heads towards Austin and pulls him off Triple H. Austin doesn’t take kind to this and this has been apparent throughout the match up. Austin starts to argue with the referee showing him that he is indeed pissed at McMahon’s actions. Austin turns around after arguing with Mr. McMahon and gets met with some right hands from his opponent, Triple H. Triple H grabs Austin and bashes his head off the turnbuckles, then throws Austin into the corner tagging in the Big Red Machine, Kane!
Triple H wrings the arm of Austin twisting it and trying to pull it out of the socket, Kane climbs onto the top rope, and then leaps off the ropes delivering a flying chop to the hand of Austin and Austin rolls around the mat holding his arm. Kane being the much larger man gets Austin into the corner and throws some right hands at Austin trying to take the Bionic Redneck down and maybe even out of the match for a little while. Triple H gets into the ring and grabs Austin. Triple H sends Austin across the ropes and quickly takes down the Texas Rattlesnake with a hard-hitting clothesline bringing Austin down onto the mat for a little bit. The impact of the spinning neckbreaker drives Austin’s neck into the mat hard and Triple H makes a cover on Austin. Triple H calls Vince over for the cover and now, the ref drops down for the count.
Triple H looks confused as to why Austin kicked out and he knows that Austin doesn’t want anymore of Triple H. Triple H heads towards the outside and looks up under the ring, then grabs a steel chair and throws it in. Normally, the referee would restrain the chair from Triple H but seeing as the referee is Mr. McMahon, we know that he won’t be taking anything away from him tonight. Triple H lifts the chair high above his head and brings the chair smashing right down onto the back of Austin as the fans cringe watching the hard-hitting chair shot! The fans are booing the hell right now out of the McMahon’s, Triple H, and Kane as the odds are totally against the good guys tonight.
If Austin and Michaels were to find a way to win tonight, it would truly be a miracle because as of right now, we won’t be seeing them winning. Triple H grabs Austin right up off the mat as Austin doesn’t look out of it yet but a few more shots from Triple H and he could be. Triple H let time pass by before he picked Austin up which gave Austin a little time to recover. Triple H goes to exchange blows with Austin but Austin blocks them, then kicks Triple H in the gut then lifts him up and brings Triple H crashing down onto the mat with a sickening Piledriver! The neck of Triple H hits the mat hard and Austin rolls over for the cover.

Triple H slides into the ring as Kane is in the corner waiting for Triple H to make the tag and he does so, Kane comes in after Triple H and since a new referee is in now, he goes after Michaels and makes a cover right now.
With too much time wasted, Michaels receives ample time that gave him a chance to quickly recover and keep the fans hopes alive for tonight. Kane looks at the referee and Kane comes towards the referee and the referee runs away. Kane heads right back towards Michaels taunting for the Chokeslam! The fans are telling Michaels to watch out as Michaels turns right around into the Chokeslam but it’s too late! Kane lifts Michaels into the air and looks to bring him down but Michaels grabs Kane and delivers a DDT! Michaels took advantage of what he had and he reaches over to Stone Cold and brings in the Texas Rattlesnake with the tag.

Match Length: 15 Minutes, 42 Seconds
Jim Ross: My gawd! Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold were screwed here tonight and it happened the hard way for them.
Jerry Lawler: A true beating tonight despite they effort they gave and in the end, the odds weren’t in their favor at all.
Jim Ross: Mr. McMahon and Shane McMahon played the biggest roles in the match up though; they screwed over HBK and Stone Cold.
Jerry Lawler: Either way as you said JR tonight they went through one hell of a beating and in the end, they were screwed.
We cut backstage shortly after to see Kurt Angle standing by with Todd Grisham.
Todd Grisham: Kurt, coming up next will be the main event for the WWE Championship, it’s been a month since you lost the title so do you think you will regain it tonight?
Kurt Angle: Please Todd! I’m a Wrestling Machine, a 5-Time WWE Champion, King of the Ring, and better yet United States Olympic Gold Medalist! Hell the accomplishments roll on and after I defeat Rob Van Dam tonight, then you can all expect to see Kurt Angle back on top of the mountain as your WWE Champion, oh it’s true…it’s damn true!
Todd Grisham: Kurt, Rob did beat you at WrestleMania dealing you a huge blow but can you overcome it tonight?
Kurt Angle: Rob Van Dam is no match for me whether he thinks he is or not. The “skills” he claims he has cannot hang with the Wrestling Machine. Rob Van Dam is plain stupid for coming out there wrestling because I’ll tear him up in that ring and that’s exactly what I did at WrestleMania but I was cheated out of the title. But don’t worry because tonight the gold goes back home with a real champion around here.
Todd Grisham: Finally, one more thing Kurt. What can we…
Kurt Angle: Give me the mic! This is to you Rob Van Dam. You’ve had MY WWE Championship for almost a month now, the first time you’ve ever held a major title belt because even if you would have won the ECW title belt, that wouldn’t have counted. And tonight ends the one-month title reign of you Rob. You’re just like ECW was back in the days, a big thing for a little while, then you die out.
And tonight’s the night that I prove to everyone that you just can’t hang with the best and the best’s name is (Kurt points his fingers to him mocking RVD) Kurt…Freakin’…Angle!!!
Angle walks off and heads towards the arena for the main event.
Medal hits and out steps the former WWE Champion, Kurt Angle! Angle stops at the entrance and points to the sky setting off his pyro. Angle continues down into the ring before sliding in and twirling around showing his intensity for tonight. Angle climbs onto the top turnbuckle taunting the fans and looking around.
Jim Ross: It’s finally time and with so much riding on the line tonight, you have to wonder if Angle could take the title again.
Jerry Lawler: If he did, this would be one of the shortest reigns in history and I don’t think RVD would like that to happen.
Lilian Garcia: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WWE Championship! Introducing first from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania weighing in at 220 pounds, he is the only Olympic Gold Medallist in WWE history, Kurt Angle!!!
One of a Kind hits and out steps the WWE Champion, Rob Van Dam! RVD comes out onto the stage following his pyro and slaps hands with the fans. RVD slides into the ring with the WWE title on his shoulder, does his thumb taunt and spins around with his famous kick. RVD then hands the WWE Championship off to the referee.
Jim Ross: And tonight could very well be the demise of Rob Van Dam but either way, we’ve got a good match coming.
Jerry Lawler: Both men stole the show at WrestleMania and tonight I don’t think will be any different, let’s find out.
Lilian Garcia: And his opponent from Battle Creek, Michigan weighing in at 235 pounds, he is the WWE Champion, Rob…Van…Dam!!!

Van Dam continues to reach towards the ropes trying to get a hold of them which would force his opponent Angle to have to break the Ankle Lock and could make Angle that much closer to losing. Van Dam’s almost there and he reaches out and he grabs the ropes! The fans cheer in support of their champion as he has gotten to the ropes and Angle is pissed right now. He can’t believe that the Ankle Lock has to be taken off of Van Dam because he broke the hold. The referee gives Angle five seconds to break the hold or he will be disqualified, Angle breaks the hold at four keeping the match going.
Angle goes to argue with the referee saying it’s his fault that the Ankle Lock was broken but the referee had nothing to do with it. The fans boo Angle but Van Dam comes from behind Angle and dropkicks Angle into the ropes. Van Dam leaps onto the top rope while Angle is down and jumps right onto Angle with the Split Legged Moonsault. Van Dam has some trouble now but he starts heading towards Angle for the cover. The fans cheer on Van Dam as he finally gets over and throws a hand right over Angle.
NO! The fans watch as Van Dam rolls over in disbelief thinking for sure the match should have been won with the tactics he has used so far tonight. Van Dam then heads onto the top rope and watches as Angle comes at him. Van Dam leaps off the top rope, this time connecting with the Flying Thrust Kick, which didn’t work, last time due to Angle catching Van Dam’s leg and locking in the Ankle Lock! The fans cheer on Van Dam as he rolls over towards the ropes trying to pull himself up. The fans feel that the end could be nearing for Angle right now, as whenever Van Dam gets into a grove, it’s very hard to stop the champion from finishing what he started.
Van Dam looks around as Angle is down on the mat. The fans know what’s coming now as Van Dam runs off the ropes and comes back, Van Dam rolls across the ring and delivers the Rolling Thunder right onto Angle! Van Dam rolls around for a little bit after hitting the ropes but nothing too major, as it seems he’s apparent on retaining the title tonight. Van Dam continues rolling for a little bit but he starts heading towards the top ropes. He’s dragging himself literally over there trying to get onto the top so he can possibly finish Angle off and possibly walk back home tonight with the WWE Championship intact.
Van Dam climbs onto the top rope quickly as he seizes the moment right about now that he can get the gold back. Van Dam sets himself up top carefully as he looks around the ring. The fans are going wild as Van Dam watches Angle down on the mat. The WWE champion, Rob Van Dam, then follows up by leaping into the air delivering the 5 Star Frog Splash right onto Angle! The fans go wild as RVD rolls around for a little bit showing that this is a high risk move but Van Dam edges towards the challenger in Kurt Angle. Van Dam gets there and throws a hand right over Angle and the referee begins the count for the match?
Lilian Garcia: Here is your winner and STILL WWE Champion…Rob Van Dam!!!
Match Length: 16 Minutes, 17 Seconds
Jim Ross: And Rob Van Dam has retained the title! Such a great end to a great PPV here tonight and it’s been a wild night.
Jerry Lawler: Kurt Angle gave it his best effort tonight but the greater wrestler tonight happened to be the champ, RVD!
Jim Ross: And such a great night, so many great matches and feuds have come to a close on a hot night in Boston!
Jerry Lawler: As for me I’m Jerry Lawler and he’s Jim Ross, we’ll see all of you tomorrow night on Monday Night Raw!
End of Show.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury
Message From The Ghetto
Nice opening into the pay-per-view, those are always pretty good in all BTB’s I read. The first match was good, and organized and very well written so I expect the rest to be just as good. Striker/Haas isn’t exactly the most exciting pairing but a few things made the match interesting. The first spot where Striker shoved Haas off the ropes and into the barricade was a nice touch to get Matt Striker over as the genius he is. Test seems to get involved quite a bit and I’m loving the partnership of Striker/Test. Very interesting, I’ll have to read back to see where this pairing came from. The match ends with a pretty cool spot, from the top rope Haas gets hit with the Golden Rule. I wonder if a Test/Haas feud will start or if this one’s just completely over?
Cool to see Jeff Hardy returning. That’s something to look forward to. Oh dear. This next match doesn’t flatter me, but I’ll do my best to give a decent review over it. The match was quite one-sided seemed like something you’d see on RAW, the face gets little offence and the heels dominate. Pretty decent ending though, it looked as if Eugene was going to pick up the win after Snitsky got involved, but Rosey was able to stop him.
Well, the McMahons are officially going to get owned. Nice promo though to hype up the match. Time for some Women’s Action! It was honestly, a bland boring contest. I didn’t like this one that much. What I did like was that you didn’t give Ashley a lot of talent, cause that’s obviously impossible.
I always liked the idea of a Masters/Carlito feud, I’m not sure, but I don’t think it’s happened in the WWE before. I may be wrong, but I always thought it was a good idea. Carlito shows his athleticism throughout the entire match and that made it very enjoyable. So did Carlito break the masterlock when he flipped him over his shoulder? Ew. Carlito picks up the win, I loved it.
Okay, now we have two personality less stars going at it for the Intercontinental Championship. If I see the fans cheer/make any reaction whatsoever one time during this match I’ll laugh. It was a good match, both men got an equal amount of offence and the moves used were great. Helms had it won on so many different occasions, but Shelton was somehow able to fight out and pick up the win. Now he needs a manager. Haha. So far all champions have retained. I expect the World Title to change hands, no a guarantee it at this point.
The Cena promo was pretty good. Just a filler/intro to the next match which I’m especially looking forward to reading. Finally something to spice up this show, a steel cage! Jericho is the heel correct? Then why in the hell did he go for the moonsault when he could have won the match? Heels are there to put on a show, they’re there to win. The Spirit Squad come out and beat the hell out of Cena giving Jericho plenty of time to escape… but he doesn’t. F-U or not he had plenty of time. God I hate Cena even in this thread, how in hell do you take 5/6 guys at once? Jeez. LOL, Cena climbs out of the cage, that was retarded, he could have just went out of the door… Don’t normally see cage matches end with a escape, but cool match. Don’t start a Jericho/Spirit Squad feud. Thanks.
Austin and Michaels got absolutely screwed. But it was vintage McMahon and I loved it. The ending was the other thing that really bothered me. I’d of rather seen a huge screwjob finish instead of an actual, clean, finisher finish. Interesting Kurt Angle promo, I’m betting he wins the title since none of the other titles have changed hands in the show so far. Angle tries to cheat with the chair, but is unable to. Too bad RVD didn’t capitalize and use the chair. God dammit, Rob Van Dam won. It was a pretty decent main event. It seemed a lot shorter than the Cage match which was my personal favorite.
Too bad all of the champions retained kind of makes me wonder what the true point of the pay-per-view was. But it was very good nonetheless and as you can see not that predictable. Keep up the good work.
