Howard Finkel: Now introducing from Houston, Texas weighing in at 250 pounds, he is one of the challengers, Booker T!!!
*BooYaka 619 hits and Rey Mysterio, the United States Champion, comes out onto the stage in a different traditional WrestleMania uniform. Howard Finkel: And from San Diego, California weighing in at 165 pounds, he is the WWE United States Champion, Rey Mysterio!!!
United States Championship
Triple Threat Match
Rey Mysterio © vs Booker T vs Chris Benoit
Mysterio, Benoit, and Booker T all begin the match heading into the middle of the ring, looking to see who is going to hook up first. Booker T backs away as if he was scared and then Mysterio and Benoit look to face off with each other, however then decide to come after Booker T. Benoit and Mysterio are pouncing on Booker in the corner with both men throwing hard rights at one of the challengers for the title in Booker T. Benoit then grabs Booker and then sends him running straight into the turnbuckle hard! Booker T bounces off of the turnbuckle and then falls to the mat while Benoit and Mysterio agree to continue working on Booker.
Benoit then heads over and grabs Booker T off the mat and then throws him into the turnbuckle, looking to go to work on the Bookman. Benoit rares back and delivers a hard chop onto the chest of Booker T. Benoit then rares back and delivers another one, followed by another one, another one, and finally the last chop! Booker T falls down holding his chest in pain while Benoit and Mysterio then grab Booker T and send him into the ropes, Booker T comes back and runs right into Mysterio who nails a hard dropkick.
Benoit then grabs Booker T off the ropes and nails a Vertical Suplex. Benoit then helps Booker T up and then Mysterio comes across the ring and then nails a Lou Thesz Press sending Booker T down back to the mat and looking out of it right now. Benoit then grabs Booker and sends him back into the corner. Benoit comes charging at Booker but Booker moves and Benoit runs right into the turnbuckle hard. Booker T then sees Mysterio coming at him to which Booker T catches Mysterio and then nails a Powerslam. Booker T then runs over and knocks Chris Benoit out of the ring allowing Booker T to make a cover on Mysterio.
Mysterio hurriedly kicks out and keeps his hope alive for keeping the title with him here tonight at WrestleMania. Booker T then pulls Mysterio up off of the mat and then sends him into the ropes, Mysterio comes back, ducks a clothesline from Booker T, then jumps onto the ropes and then delivers a high flying Springboard Moonsault onto Booker T. Mysterio then quickly gets back onto his feet before running across the ropes, then delivering a dropkick to the head of Booker T! Mysterio then jumps onto Booker T and makes a cover hoping for the win early on.
Booker T quickly kicks out making sure that he still is in the match and that Rey Mysterio is not going to take the title home that easily. Mysterio then gets back onto his feet and pulls Booker T up off the mat and then delivers a hard right hand to Booker T. Booker T however nails a kick to the gut and then runs off the ropes but Benoit trips up Booker, then jumps onto the apron. Benoit grabs Booker T and tries to pull him over the ropes but Benoit grabs Booker and nails a Backbody Drop sending Booker down onto the outside.
Booker T is down and out while Benoit looks to come into the ring. However Mysterio meets Benoit with a shot to the head and then Benoit grabs Mysterio. However Mysterio nails a kick to the head of Mysterio while Benoit is hanging on the apron on the outside. Mysterio then has a sudden idea and runs across the ropes. Then comes back before leaping over the ropes and grabbing Benoit in the process with a Sunset Flip to the outside. Benoit goes down hard on the outside and now all three of the men are on the outside, down and out so far from the match. The fans are going wild as either one of these men could take the title here tonight.
With there being three men in the match there are no count outs and the referee doesn’t know what to do right now about all three of these men. We see Mysterio start to crawl over towards the apron looking to pull himself up as he didn’t take as much of a fall as Benoit and Booker did. Mysterio slides himself into the ring, looking to take a break. Mysterio is down in the ring while Booker looks to start recovering but isn’t up completely yet. Booker is pulling himself up on the barricade and then looks over at Benoit who is still down from the fall that both of these men took a few moments ago during the match.
Booker then slides right into the ring and Mysterio goes to work on the challenger, throwing some rights trying to wear down Booker, as he is about 90 pounds bigger than Mysterio. Mysterio then continues to do so on Booker while Benoit looks to be heading over pulling himself into the ring. Mysterio then sends Booker T into the ropes to which Booker T comes back but before Mysterio can do anything, Booker takes down the champion with a hard clothesline and then looks to start taking advantage of the match now. Booker T then decides to go for a cover onto the champion and being cocky as he is decides to count along.
Rey Mysterio kicks out to the shock of the challenger and former US Champion, Booker T. Booker looks irate right about now and then gets back onto his feet. Booker T nails a hard kick to the gut, and then goes for a Sidekick but Benoit slides into the ring and nails a German Suplex! Benoit then sees Mysterio come charging at him and then Benoit catapults Mysterio into the air sending him flying hard into the turnbuckle. Benoit is on fire now and seems as if nobody can and will be able to stop him during this match up.
Benoit then grabs Booker T and sends him into the ropes, Booker T comes running back right into a chop from the Rabid Wolverine! Mysterio then gets back up and comes right into a German Suplex from Benoit. Benoit then sees Booker T on the ropes and then charges sending Booker T down to the outside once more. Booker doesn’t worry about Mysterio though now that he is down and then eyes Booker T on the outside. Benoit then runs across the ropes and then nails a baseball sliding kick sending Booker T into the barricade hard! The fans are going nuts for Benoit and wanting Benoit to take the title home with him tonight.
Benoit then looks to head back into the ring but Mysterio is back onto his feet. Benoit then slides into the ring and then Mysterio comes at him. Benoit sidesteps the champion to which Mysterio runs right into the arms of Benoit! Benoit looks for the Crippler Crossface early on but Mysterio grabs the arm of Benoit and nails an Armbar Drag sending Benoit across the ring and Benoit and Mysterio have a brief stare down with each other. Both men then head back into the middle of the ring and look to fight it over for the championship.
Benoit and Mysterio lock up in the middle of the ring to which Benoit backs Mysterio into the turnbuckle in the corner. Benoit rares back for a chop but Mysterio slides out under. Benoit looks to turn around but Mysterio dropkicks Benoit straight into the turnbuckle! Benoit comes back from the turnbuckle to which Mysterio nails a Schoolboy. Mysterio is calling for the referee who is looking over at Booker T and the referee hurries over, he then begins the count and the fans think Mysterio could have the match won here.
No it wasn’t meant to be as Mysterio sees Benoit kick out and keep the match going. The fans are enjoying the match so far however as it has been a mixture of technical and highflying wrestling throughout the first few minutes of the match. Mysterio then gets back onto his feet and then sends Benoit back into the ropes, however Booker T trips up Benoit, Booker then gets back onto the apron and then pulls Benoit’s neck off the ropes. Mysterio then grabs Benoit as he comes off of the ropes and then nails another armbar drag sending Benoit into the corner.
Mysterio looks to head back over to Benoit but from behind, Booker T attacks Mysterio making sure he can’t make a cover. Booker T looks to work on the champion and wear him down. Booker sends Mysterio into the corner. Booker T then taunts the crowd before charging across the ring and nailing a thunderous clothesline into the turnbuckle. Mysterio’s head bounces off the turnbuckle and the fans are booing Booker T. The Bookman then grabs Mysterio and throws him onto the top turnbuckle and the fans are wondering what Booker T is about to do.
Booker T then makes his way onto the middle turnbuckle, the fans are getting even more interested in what Booker T is about to attempt as this is not usually Booker’s style of wrestling. Booker T then nails a shot to the head of Mysterio before looking for a Superplex. Booker is trying to pull Mysterio off of the turnbuckle but Mysterio is not going to let go. However Benoit runs right up under Booker and Mysterio. Booker is in deep trouble now as he is holding onto Mysterio in a Superplex position while Mysterio is on top. Benoit is still under both Booker T and Mysterio and then pulls both men off the turnbuckle in a Super Powerbomb! The fans are going nuts and now with all three men down once more, things are getting even more interesting!
Once more the referee cannot count because there are no count outs in a Triple Threat Match. The referee looks down at all three participants and waits for someone to make a cover. Benoit is the first one to move and then starts heading over to Booker T, the man who took most of the abuse in the Super Powerbomb off the ropes. Benoit continues to crawl over and he’s looking to pin Booker T and possibly take home the title with him. Benoit is there and he reaches over, Benoit could take the title home with him now!
Booker T gets his shoulder up to the disbelief of Benoit. Benoit thought for sure he was going to end up taking the title home with him there but no. The Rabid Wolverine does indeed look rabid now and looks to take Booker T out of the equation now. Benoit then rises back onto his feet and then grabs Booker T right up off the mat. Benoit then hooks the arms of Booker T and then nails the first of the three German Suplexes sending Booker T down to the mat and Benoit keeps the arms hooked and then continues doing so.
Benoit then gets back up and nails the second of the three German Suplexes. The fans continue cheering the Rabid Wolverine as we could be getting close to be seeing a new champion crowned here at WrestleMania. Benoit then once more gets back up and nails the third and final German Suplex of the three onto Booker T! Benoit then gets back onto his feet and then does his cut-throat symbol and wants to finish Booker T off right now with the Diving Headbutt. Benoit makes his way over onto the top rope and sets himself up.
Benoit looks to leap off the turnbuckle but Mysterio runs up the ropes and nails a Hurricanrana onto Benoit off the top rope sending Benoit into the arms of Booker T who nails a Power Bomb! The fans are going wild as Booker T looks to cover Benoit but Mysterio leaps off the top rope with a Missile Dropkick to the head of Booker T. Mysterio looks to be in charge of the match now and this match continues to keep on getting even better. The fans are going nuts as Mysterio then heads over and covers the Rabid Wolverine, Mysterio could remain the champion now!
Benoit puts his foot on the rope much to the dislike of the current champion in Rey Mysterio and the fans are amazed at the match so far. Mysterio then grabs Booker T and then sends him into the ropes but Booker comes back and then catches Mysterio as he runs at Booker. Booker T then comes down hard with the champion and nails a sick Spinebuster! Mysterio is grasping his back in agony and pain and Booker T looks worn out from the match, however he heads over and makes a cover on the champion wanting the title right now!
Mysterio gets his shoulder up and keeps the match alive; Booker T looks in disbelief once more and can’t believe that he didn’t get the pin right there. Booker T then pulls the champion off of the mat and then lifts him up then twists the arm of Mysterio and nails a Sidekick to the face of Mysterio sending him down onto the mat. Booker T then drops down onto the mat and looks at his hand doing his normal taunt! Booker T then spins around and does the Spinaroonie before jumping right back up and then kicking Mysterio on the mat.
Booker seems ever so cocky now as he could be the one walking out of the US Airways Center tonight with the United States Championship around his waist. Booker T then kicks Mysterio in the gut, then comes off the ropes and nails the Scissors Kick! The fans are booing the former 5-Time WCW Champion as Booker T waists time taunting the crowd. Booker T doesn’t realize how much time he is wasting and then decides to finally make the cover; Booker T counts along once more continuing to be cocky in the match.
NO! Benoit breaks the count up. Booker T then gets back onto his feet and goes after his archrival in Benoit. Booker T goes for a Bookend onto the Rabid Wolverine but Benoit catches Booker T and nails a Snap Suplex. Benoit then does his cut-throat taunt once more and then heads up onto the top turnbuckle, this time looking to nail it. Benoit sets himself up carefully onto the top turnbuckle and makes sure no one is going to come after him this time, Benoit then leaps off the top turnbuckle and nails the Diving Headbutt! Benoit rolls around on the mat holding his head and then reaches over and makes a cover onto the other challenger in Booker T, the count!
Mysterio kicks Benoit and then throws him into the corner. Mysterio then grabs Booker T up off the mat and then nails another Hurricanrana, this time sending Booker T straight into the ropes! The fans know what’s coming now! However Benoit runs over and knocks Mysterio out of the ring before he has any chance of nailing the 619! Benoit then grabs Booker T by the feet and then applies the Sharpshooter! Benoit has the Sharpshooter locked in and the fans are going nuts, Chris Benoit could very well become the next United States Champion here at WrestleMania 22.
Benoit is pulling hard on the legs of Booker T which sends the pressure to the back of Booker T and Benoit seems like he will take the title with him now. Benoit is not going to let go no matter what it takes for the title. Booker starts edging towards the ropes, trying everything he can to grab the ropes and break the Sharpshooter! However Benoit pulls Booker T back into the middle of the ring making sure that Booker won’t grab the ropes. Mysterio could be losing his title soon if he doesn’t get back into the ring and quick.
Benoit continues pulling on Booker T and seems as if he could be the next United States Champion really soon. Booker T looks like he is about to fade out and he is doing everything possible to not give up and lose his title chance. Booker T raises his hand and looks like he is about to tap out whenever Mysterio hits the ring and Benoit breaks the hold. Mysterio sends Benoit into the corner and then nails a clothesline to which Benoit falls down onto the mat. Mysterio then heads over to Booker T and looks to end the Bookman off and take the title back home with him.
Mysterio grabs Booker T off the mat and then dropkicks Booker T into the ropes. Booker T falls straight into position for Mysterio’s famous finisher. Mysterio then smiles as he knows what is coming and so do the fans! The United States Champion, Rey Mysterio, then charges across the ring and nails the 619! The fans are going nuts and Mysterio makes his way onto the top rope looking for the West Coast Pop! However Benoit pushes the ropes and Mysterio falls down and is straddling the ropes and now is the time for Benoit to finish off Booker T.
Benoit then runs over and jumps on top of Booker T and applies his specialty finisher, the Crippler Crossface onto the Bookman! Booker T has taken the beatings in the majority of this match and now it looks like it’s coming to an end. Benoit has the Crippler Crossface locked in for good now and he is pulling and tugging on Booker T wanting the challenger to give up. However we look over and see Mysterio sitting back up on the apron and Benoit doesn’t know. Benoit continues to pull hard on the neck of Booker T trying his best to make Booker T give up.
Booker T continues to edge towards the ropes and almost gets there but Benoit pulls the Bookman away from the ropes. Mysterio sets himself up on the top rope and Benoit has no clue about it. Booker T looks like he is about to tap out but suddenly the United States Champion Rey Mysterio leaps through the air and nails the West Coast Pop onto the back of the neck of Benoit who still had the Crippler Crossface locked in! Mysterio then pushes Booker T to the outside and then Mysterio leaps onto Benoit for the cover!

*We cut backstage to see Todd Grisham standing by with the Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus*
Todd Grisham: Trish, in a few moments you are going to be taking on Mickie James for your Women’s Championship, how are you feeling right now?
Trish Stratus: Todd, I’ve waited ever since October of last year for my chance to face Mickie, that’s about 7 months. This match is 7 months in the making and tonight, I’m going to prove to Mickie James that I am the most dominant Women’s Champion in the history of the WWE.
Todd Grisham: Mickie turned on you a few weeks back whenever she attacked not only you but also your friend, Ashley Massaro. You have anything to say to that?
Trish Stratus: Mickie, we used to be friends. We used to hang out everywhere we went but what you did to not only myself but to Ashley, you’re going to pay. You’ve cost me matches this year, I thought you were trying to help but you weren’t. Your whole plan was to cost me matches and then turn on me, well tonight I’m costing you a match.
Todd Grisham: Also tonight Ashley won’t be going to ringside tonight as you requested she stay back, why did you request this?
Trish Stratus: I want to be able to win by myself. This situation between Mickie and myself has now become personal and Mickie stands no chance at winning tonight. The time has come and tonight, I want to make sure that the Women’s Championship stays around the waist of a good girl, not a freak like you Mickie.
Todd Grisham: Thanks for the interview Trish and good luck!
*We then cut ringside to the Raw commentating team at ringside*
Jim Ross: Trish seems ready for the match now and she has perhaps her toughest challenge to date in Mickie James tonight.
Joey Styles: I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody like Mickie James before, she is surely one of the most dominant women wrestlers in the WWE.
Jerry Lawler: Of course and this match has some history and let’s go back and see whenever this started between these two beautiful ladies.

Trish Stratus © vs Mickie James
The referee then rings the bell and it’s on. Stratus and James circle the ring staring down each other as tonight; it’s a battle of former friend’s. James then looks at Stratus and she charges at her quickly in the corner. Stratus pushes James into the corner and then slaps her in the chest. Trish then smiles as she looks around and the crowd is going wild! Trish then grabs Mickie and sends her off the ropes, James comes back and Trish catcher her with the Lou Thesz Press knocking Mickie James down onto the mat on her knees
Trish is beating down James on the mat and Trish continues throwing punches on her and the referee pulls Trish off of Mickie. Mickie charges at Trish but the Women’s Champion moves and Mickie runs into the ropes. Trish grabs Mickie and sends her across the ring to which James comes back, Trish catches her and nails a bodyslam onto the mat. Trish then points to the crowd and the crowd gives her a nice pop. However out of nowhere, Mickie James pulls Trish out from under her feet and she has a schoolboy
Trish kicks out and gets back to her feet. The Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus, then sees Mickie James getting back to her feet and Trish grabs Mickie and then goes for the Headscissors but Mickie grabs Trish and slams her down onto the mat hard. Mickie then gets down onto the mat and is asking Trish if she is liking that. Trish doesn’t answer and Mickie James starts screaming at Trish seeing if she likes it but Trish doesn’t answer. Mickie James then grabs Trish and then goes for a DDT but Trish reverses and nails a kick to the knees
Mickie James is holding her knee in pain after being kicked in the knee by Trish Stratus. Stratus then gets back to her feet and taunts Mickie. Trish looks around and then sends Mickie into the corner. Trish charges at her former friend in the corner but Mickie catches her! Mickie then swings her legs around and nails her Headscissors in the corner before she runs over onto Trish and covers her for the pin
Trish gets her shoulder up to the pleasure of the fans. Mickie James looks like she is going to explode thinking for sure she had it won. Mickie then sees Trish slowly starting to get up and grabs her to run off the ropes with her Mickie DDT but Trish pushes Mickie off and Mickie goes flying into the air over the top rope. Trish then smiles as Mickie lands hard on the outside as Trish is in the ring trying to regain herself while Mickie is down on the mat outside holding her back in pain from being tossed over the ropes.
Trish then sees Mickie about to come back into the ring and Mickie is by the apron. Trish then grabs the ropes and swings and kicks Mickie knocking her back down onto the mat. Trish then gets onto the outside of the ring. Mickie gets back up quickly and Trish jumps right into her arms and nails another Lou Thesz Press onto then challenger on the outside. Trish is beating down on Mickie with some hard rights before she picks her up and then tosses her into the ring and Trish slides into the ring herself
Trish then grabs Mickie off of the mat and then points her hand to the air. Trish then sees Mickie getting up and then she goes for Stratusfaction but Mickie catches Trish’s legs, tosses Trish down onto the mat and then plants Trish with a clothesline. Mickie then grabs Trish and starts choking her in the corner. Mickie is pulling hard on the neck of Trish trying to get her to pass out but out of nowhere, Trish flips Mickie over and Mickie lands hard on the mat before Trish falls down onto the mat with the cover
Mickie finds a way to kick out and keep the match alive. Trish then pulls Mickie up off the mat and then knocks her back down quickly with a Clothesline. Trish is dominating the match taking care of business now and trying to end it early. The Women’s Champion then climbs onto the middle turnbuckle and waits for Mickie to get back up. Mickie’s still down after that clothesline that she took from Trish moments ago
Mickie starts to sit back up and is still feeling the effects of the beating she has taken so far from this match by the champion, Trish Stratus. Mickie James carefully sits herself up and doesn’t know Trish is in the corner on the ropes. Trish then leaps off the ropes at the last moment as Mickie turns around and ducks and Trish misses connecting with the mat hard and this gives Mickie James a break and time to get her energy back into the match before continuing on trying to win her first Women’s Championship
Mickie James then sits up and sees Trish laying down on the mat and slowly making her way back to her feet and trying to get back into the match. Mickie then charges at Trish as the Women’s champion is slowly sitting up and Mickie then nails a dropkick onto Stratus and then picks her up and plants Trish with a DDT straight into the mat! James then tosses Trish over and then calls the referee over and makes the cover
NO! Trish Stratus gets her shoulder up and keeps the match alive and she is able to keep her title in the process too! Mickie James then decides to run off the ropes and she comes back but Trish ducks with the Matrix! Mickie James then turns around and Trish wraps the legs around the head of Mickie James and then spins her around and around as Trish Stratus, the current Women’s Champion, connects with the Stratusphere onto her former friend and challenger sending James flying to the mat with a cover
Mickie James kicks out at the last moment and keeps the match alive. Trish Stratus can’t believe it because she thought she had her title back. However Trish doesn’t give up and then decides to grab Mickie James. Trish kicks Mickie James in the gut with a hard kick before she runs off the ropes and then goes for a Running Bulldog. However Mickie catches Trish while she’s doing the Running Bulldog and then nails a suplex onto the mat and Mickie James comes down too and now both of these women are down
It’s been physical so far between these two ladies and both are wanting the Women’s Championship. The referee then notices Mickie James slowly crawling over to Trish Stratus and Mickie James looks to drape a hand over the champion but she crawls over to the ropes. James is pulling herself up on the ropes as she is trying to get back into the match. James is almost back onto her feet and we then see her rise back up
Mickie James then turns around and starts over to Trish Stratus. But first off, Mickie is taunting the Women’s champion by kicking her in the gut and kicking her in the gut repeatedly. James then turns around as the crowd is booing her and Trish is still down on the mat. Mickie James then walks over to the ropes and starts mouthing off to a fan and then out of nowhere, Trish Stratus trips up Mickie James and has a cradle on Mickie
Mickie James kicks out with force preventing her chances from losing the title opportunity tonight and the title to Trish Stratus. James then looks around and sees Trish slowly getting back to her feet and then James runs at Stratus but Stratus ducks, then goes for the Chick Kick onto the challenger but James ducks, then grabs Trish Stratus and runs off the ropes with her! James then comes off and she has nailed the Mickie DDT! Mickie James is excited now and she jumps onto Trish Stratus with the pinfall
Mickie is irate as Trish gets her leg up on the kickout. Mickie thought for sure she had the match won right there but the referee tells her no. Mickie then looks ticked off and then does her opponent, Trish Stratus’s taunt by holding her hands on her knees waiting for her opponent to get back to her feet. James then looks and Stratus is still down. James then sees Stratus inching towards the ropes trying to pull her self up
Trish is almost there and has the bottom rope almost getting her balance back and she reaches out and grabs the ropes. Trish slowly pulls herself up and then sees Mickie. Trish then acts like she doesn’t see Mickie and she turns around but ducks Mickie James’s kick. Trish then grabs Mickie James after a quick kick to the head, then nails Stratusfaction! The fans are going nuts as they think Trish Stratus has a chance to win and Trish slowly crawls over but she can’t get there as the Women’s Champion is running out of energy
Both women are now down and the referee is not sure of what to do with both of these women being out of it right now. Trish slowly starts crawling towards Mickie James showing a part of life and she’s edging over there slowly but surely. Mickie James lay down on the mat, still feeling the effects from Stratusfaction a few moments ago from the Women’s Champion. Trish continues on over there and is almost there! Trish reaches her hand out and the ref slaps the mat with the count for the Women’s Champion!
No! Trish can’t believe it now and looks out in the crowd as the fans are screaming thinking Trish had the title won. Trish then picks herself up off of Mickie James and then picks herself up before she then puts her hands on her knees. Trish is taunting Mickie telling her former friend and challenger to get back up but Mickie’s still down on the mat after being nailed by Stratusfaction from the current Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus, a few moments ago and Trish continues on taunting Mickie
Mickie rises up and comes at Trish but Trish moves, Trish then swings her leg out at the challenger in Mickie James for a Chick Kick! However Mickie ducks making sure she doesn’t get taken out that easy in the match. Mickie then kicks Trish in the gut hard, then rares back and delivers a Mick Kick, Mickie’s own version of Trish’s Chick Kick! Mickie leaps with joy now as she hurries over and makes a cover on the Women’s Champion! The fans are booing now as the ref begins the count and do we have a new champion?

*Suddenly Goldust and Gene Snitsky come in. Goldust is blowing on his hands as he normally does and Snitsky tries to lick the Rock’s feet*
The Rock: Who in the blue hell are you?
*The Rock is looking at Goldust and The Rock kicks Snitsky off of his foot, Snitsky gets back up onto his feet and then speaks*
Eugene: This is my friends, Gene Snitsky and Goldust. Goldust blows dust ever..everywhere and Snitsky licks feet.
The Rock: It doesn’t matter who they are! The Rock says you’ve got some strange friends and right now The Rock’s got to get going.
*The Rock then leaves and then starts heading down to the lockerroom, the camera then turns towards Eugene, Goldust, and Gene Snitsky*
Gene Snitsky: That wasn’t my fault!
*We then cut back down to ringside to the commentating tables*
Jim Ross: Welcome back to WrestleMania and coming up next, three Raw superstars and three Smackdown superstars compete for one goal
Tazz: The winner of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match is going to claim a World-Heavyweight Championship shot whenever he wants
Jim Ross: And Raw has some talented competitors in Carlito, Chris Masters, and Shelton Benjamin while Smackdown brings JBL, Ken Kennedy, and Matt Hardy
Tazz: Well this is the first of two Inter-Promotional Matches J.R and let’s go ahead and get this classic match started off.
Ain’t No Stoppin’ Me Now! Hits and Shelton Benjamin comes out ready for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match before he continues on down the ring slapping hands with the fans and he jumps onto the steel steps before jumping into the ring and climbing onto the turnbuckle holding his hands and title in the air!
Howard Finkle: The following contest is the Inter-Promotional Money in the Bank Ladder Match where the winner that grabs the briefcase will have a guaranteed shot at their brand’s respective title! Introducing first from Orangeburg, South Carolina weighing in at 245 pounds representing Raw, he is the current Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin!
Cool hits and Carlito comes out tossing his apple in the air before he continues on down the ramp. He then comes down to the ring and starts taunting at Benjamin before he comes into the ring waiting for his former friend and the Intercontinental Champion, Chris Masters
Howard Finkle: From The Caribbean Islands weighing in at 234 pounds representing Raw, Carlito!
Masterpiece hits and the former Intercontinental Champion comes out doing his normal entrance and he throws his jacket off before he puts his hands together telling Carlito he’s going to put him in the Masterlock. Masters then slides into the ring and looks at Carlito taunting him but the ref breaks it up
Howard Finkle: From Los Angeles, California weighing in at 275 pounds representing Raw, Chris Masters!
Mr. Kennedy!!! Kennedy!!! Hits and Ken Kennedy comes out and he slides into the ring before Finkle can announce him and holds his hand up waiting for the mic to come down, Kennedy then grabs it and starts announcing for himself with the Raw superstars watching on
Ken Kennedy: I hail from Green Bay, Wisconsin! I weigh in tonight at 243 pounds, and yeah I represent Smackdown! My name is Mr. Kennnnneddddyyyyy!!! Kennnneddddyyyyy!!!
Live for the Moment hits and Matt Hardy comes out pissed and Kennedy, Hardy’s archrival, jumps out of the ring before Hardy can harm him. Hardy is on the ropes telling Kennedy to get his ass back in the ring and Kennedy obliges and then we cut over to Finkle
Howard Finkle: From Raleigh, North Carolina weighing in at 225 pounds, representing Smackdown! Matt Hardy!
Longhorn hits and JBL’s limo comes out and JBL is alone tonight without Jillian to help him in the match. JBL then steps out of his limo and does the Texas Two Step before heading down to the ring looking constantly above the ring at the briefcase with the World title shot in it
Howard Finkle: And from New York, New York weighing in at 290 pounds, representing Smackdown!, JBL!
Inter-Promotional MITB Ladder Match
JBL slides into the ring and Shelton Benjamin jumps him before he can even stand up while Carlito jumps Masters and Hardy jumps his rival Kennedy. We see Benjamin toss JBL back to the outside and JBL is down on the outside while Hardy sends Kennedy into the ropes. Kennedy comes off the ropes and ducks a clothesline from Hardy but Hardy pulls the ropes sending Kennedy to the outside along with JBL. Carlito then goes for a DDT onto the Masterpiece but Masters catches Carlito and goes for an early MasterLock! Masters tries to wrap the hands around the head of Carlito but he can’t and the momentum sends both Carlito and Masters flying to the outside of the ring. Hardy and Benjamin look at each other and they get a great idea right there on the spot
Hardy and Benjamin see JBL, Kennedy, Carlito, and Masters all getting back to their feet and Hardy leaps over first with a Crossbody followed by Benjamin running across the ring and jumping straight over nailing a Plancha knocking down JBL and Kennedy. Carlito and Masters are still brawling on the outside and we see Carlito get back to his feet. Carlito then grabs Masters and tosses him into the barricade before Carlito comes charging at Masters. The Masterpiece ducks and then catapults Carlito straight into the crowd landing hard on the concrete! Masters then smiles and then grabs a ladder before he tosses it into the ring and looks to crawl into the ring with it to set it up and grab the briefcase above
However, Benjamin sees this and the former Intercontinental Champion dashes into the ring trying to stop Masters. Shortly after him is Hardy but Hardy gets stopped by Kennedy and Kennedy whiplashes Hardy straight into the steel steps taking out Hardy for a little bit of time. JBL is still down on the outside and looks to be knocked out from Benjamin’s plancha. Masters carefully sets the ladder up trying to climb up it but Benjamin attacks Masters and then tosses him into the ropes. Kennedy comes charging at Benjamin but Benjamin catches Kennedy and then nails a huge German Suplex before Masters comes back and runs right into the arms of Benjamin who nails another German Suplex.
Benjamin’s feeling it and he then sees Kennedy and Masters come at him with a double clothesline attempt but Benjamin ducks, then dropkicks both the Masterpiece and Mr. Kennedy down to the mat. JBL then slides into the ring and takes out Benjamin from behind with a clothesline to the back of the head before JBL grabs the ladder in the ring and places it right on Benjamin. JBL starts climbing the ladder and he’s gone up a couple of rungs before he notices Benjamin trying to shake the ladder. JBL then jumps off of the ladder and then picks it up and smashes it off the ribs of Benjamin before he climbs back up the ladder and starts back up it. However we see Hardy coming back into the equation as he slides into the ring.
Hardy then nails JBL across the back with a hard shot before he starts climbing up the ladder on the other side and then nails JBL with a hard right. JBL swings at Hardy with one of his own but Hardy ducks it and then nails another hard right onto the self-proclaimed “Wrestling God” JBL is desperate to knock Hardy off but Hardy keeps coming at him. Meanwhile Carlito is climbing over the barricade and then climbs into the ring to see Kennedy and Masters pushing each other. Carlito then sneaks behind Masters and nails a low blow before he jumps Kennedy in the corner and is throwing some hard punches at him. Benjamin is still stuck under the ladder trying to figure a way to get out from under there.
However, JBL and Hardy are still throwing lefts and rights at each other and JBL goes for one more desperate attempt but Hardy catches the hand of JBL before he climbs onto the very top of the ladder. Hardy then goes down on the side of JBL and then grabs JBL and comes off of the ladder and nails a Side Effect and the fans are going nuts as both Hardy and JBL lay on the mat after that Side Effect about 15 feet in the air. Benjamin has gotten himself out of the ladder now and he then goes straight after Masters who’s getting back up. Meanwhile Carlito has Kennedy in the corner and Kennedy is on the middle turnbuckle trying to grab Carlito for the Green Bay Plunge but Carlito gets down off the turnbuckle and then nails a suplex off of the turnbuckle onto Kennedy.
Benjamin is throwing some rights and lefts at Masters before he then goes to the outside and then grabs a ladder. Benjamin then tosses the ladder into the ring but Masters grabs it quickly and then looks to hit Benjamin hit with the ladder but Benjamin then spins around and nails the Dragon Whip with the ladder nailing the Masterpiece straight in the face! Benjamin then sees JBL slowly getting up in the corner and he then tosses JBL into the corner where Kennedy is also at. Benjamin then sets a ladder up before he kicks it with JBL and Kennedy both in the corner and the fans are confused at about what is Benjamin doing. Benjamin then runs across the ring and then leaps and nails a Stinger Splash with the ladder hitting Kennedy and JBL but also hurting himself in the process
Benjamin then tosses Kennedy to the outside and then throws JBL straight into Hardy who goes for a Twist of Fate but JBL catches Hardy and then plants him with a powerbomb sending Hardy headfirst into a ladder laying down in the ring and the fans are screaming as this has been a match so far where anything can definitely happen! Masters is slowly getting up still feeling the effects from the hellacious Dragon Whip into the ladder that bounced off of his face. However Carlito comes from behind on Masters and then picks him up and tries to go for another DDT and Masters is able to push Carlito off before Carlito comes back and Masters catches Carlito and he has the Masterlock finally applied!
Masters is spinning Carlito around and he’s trying to make him submit right here and take one less person out. Meanwhile Kennedy has a ladder up after he was down outside and he then slides it into the ring. Kennedy then starts placing the ladder in the middle of the ring before he starts to climb it and we see Masters still has the Masterlock on but he breaks it as he sees Kennedy slowly crawling up the ladder to grab the briefcase. Masters comes from behind Kennedy and tries to throw him off the ladder but Kennedy kicks Masters in the face. Masters falls down but gains his balance and then grabs the ladder and pulls it out from under Kennedy! Kennedy is hanging in mid-air for dear life and he’s trying his best to grab the briefcase and fall to the mat but he can’t let go of the metal rung holding it
Benjamin then grabs a ladder and he places it in the corner before he then starts climbing and then realizes he can’t do what he wants to. Benjamin then places it right in front of Kennedy and climbs it and the fans are shocked. What is Benjamin going to do now? Benjamin then leaps into the air, catches Kennedy with his legs and then nails a sick looking Hurricanrana 15 feet in the air and Holy Shit chants are breaking out everywhere with Benjamin and Kennedy layed out! JBL then sees this is time to take advantage and he grabs the ladder, which Benjamin leaped from and sets it up right underneath the briefcase. JBL slowly starts climbing the ladder and he is getting there but Hardy gets back up and then starts climbing the other ladder. Masters also sets up a ladder right besides JBL’s ladder and JBL looks pissed.
We then see Carlito setting up a table on the outside for some reason and he climbs into the ring climbing up Masters’s ladder. Carlito then starts to throw some punches at Masters while JBL and Hardy are exchanging blows. Hardy looks to jump off the ladder but JBL pushes Hardy off and he goes flying down onto the mat landing rather awkward. Now it’s down to JBL, Masters, and Carlito while Kennedy and Benjamin are still down and out from that sick looking Hurricanrana that Shelton Benjamin pulled off against Kennedy moments ago. JBL then sees Carlito try to grab Masters off the ladder and come off but Carlito isn’t successful in the process. Masters smiles knowing he still has a chance to grab the briefcase but Carlito jumps down onto the mat and everybody is confused.
Masters and JBL look at each other knowing they are in a load of trouble know as they know what is about to happen! Carlito then pushes JBL off the ladder and JBL lands on the ropes on his nuts and he falls down to the mat holding his privates in the process. However Carlito looks up at Masters and as he smiles, he pushes the ladder sending Masters straight to the outside and Masters goes flying through the table Carlito set up on the outside. More Holy Shit chants break out and Carlito realizes he certainly has a chance to climb up the top and grab the briefcase and earn a shot at the WWE Championship whenever he wishes to choose. He looks up and then grabs the ladder before placing it underneath the briefcase and starts to climb. Carlito is inching closer and closer towards getting the title shot
However Carlito doesn’t see Hardy coming and he climbs up the ladder and then grabs Carlito pushing him off of the ladder. Hardy looks above the ring and sees the briefcase but he doesn’t want the briefcase yet! Hardy looks down at Carlito and then he leaps off the ladder and nails a Leg Drop landing hard on Carlito and now all six men are down in the ring. The fans are going nuts, as they don’t know what is going to happen next because so much action has taken place so far. Benjamin is slowly inching towards the ladder looking to set it up but he still is feeling injured from the hurricanrana he pulled off earlier in the matchup. We see JBL starting to try to get up and he is still not in good health either after being thrown from the ladder onto the ropes.
JBL then sees Benjamin slowly getting back to his feet and then he charges at Benjamin but Benjamin ducks him and then catches JBL straight in the face with a Superkick! Benjamin then falls down on the mat and then starts crawling towards the ladder and starts crawling up it trying his best to take advantage of the opportunity he has right now! Benjamin is continuing crawling the ladder and he’s about in the middle of the ladder and he’s having trouble continuing. Benjamin gets up about ¾ of the way but out of nowhere, Kennedy scurries up the ladder and then grabs Benjamin and places him on his shoulders! Kennedy then leaps off the top of the ladder and nails the Green Bay Plunge off the ladder and Holy Shit chants continue to break out with the fans going nuts!
Kennedy nailed Benjamin off the ladder with the Green Bay Plunge as sort of revenge from the Hurricanrana and now the only person stirring is JBL. JBL then sees the ladder and sees his chance before he refixes it and then slowly makes his way up the ladder trying to grab the briefcase and walk away with the World Heavyweight title shot in hands. JBL is about halfway up before he sees the Masterpiece, Chris Masters, getting back to his feet and crawling back into the ring. Masters is literally crawling towards the ladder just looking to not let JBL get up to the ladder and JBL continues up the ladder before we see Matt Hardy place another one right by JBL’s and he starts to climb that one.
Hardy is crawling and now the race is on to see who can grab the briefcase and walk away with the title shot. Hardy’s getting there quicker than JBL and this pisses JBL off! JBL then drops down onto the mat and then goes to the outside and then sees Masters crawling up Hardy’s ladder and then Masters gets there after a few seconds and locks on the MasterLock on the ladder! Masters has his balance and he is holding Hardy’s hands while putting his hands on the ladder to keep his balance and make sure he doesn’t fall. However JBL comes back into the ring with a steel chair and then Masters sees this. Masters ducks the chair and jumps down and JBL nails Hardy with the chair. However JBL doesn’t see Masters and the champion takes out JBL with a Polish Hammer
Masters is smiling knowing he can now climb the ladder and grab the briefcase and get his WWE title shot whenever he wants it. The Masterpiece then climbs up the ladder and is slowly making his way up. He gets to the top and looks to unhook the briefcase but Carlito comes up the ladder still feeling the effects from the Leg Drop off of the ladder from Hardy. Carlito punches Masters making the Masterpiece hands slip off of the briefcase and this gives Carlito a chance to take out Masters. Carlito is on Masters’s side of the ladder and he grabs the Masterpiece. He then tells Masters, that this will be cool and Carlito comes off the ladder and nails a wicked DDT with Masters landing head first onto a ladder down in the ring and Carlito hurts himself landing on his back on the ladder and the fans are going wild!
We see Kennedy start to stir and he is still hurting and he is holding his neck after that amazing Green Bay Plunge off the ladder. Kennedy then etches towards the ladder and sets it up. He starts to climb the ladder very slowly and is still continuing to hold his neck also. He then is about halfway up and stops to take a breather before he continues on up the ladder. We then see Hardy grab a ladder of his own and then he goes over to Kennedy and sees Kennedy having trouble getting up the ladder. Hardy then grabs Kennedy and looks to come off of the ladder but Kennedy pushes him off. Hardy then comes up the ladder and then grabs Kennedy and then tosses him off of the ladder before Hardy starts to climb the ladder
Hardy is heading up the ladder trying to grab the briefcase but he doesn’t see that Carlito is getting up and Carlito heads over and sets up a ladder. Carlito then starts climbing his ladder and then he climbs up it and out of nowhere, JBL removes the ladders from underneath Hardy and Carlito as both men are hanging on in mid-air with the briefcase. Hardy and Carlito are fighting it out and Hardy tries to kick Carlito off of the briefcase and Carlito responds with a kick of his own. Carlito and Hardy continue to exchange kicks before we see Benjamin place a ladder in the corner and then he climbs up the ladder. Benjamin then leaps off the ladder and then spears both Carlito and Hardy straight down onto the mat and the fans are going wild, as Benjamin has once more nailed a crazy move!
Now JBL gets back to his feet after being nailed by Masters and seems to be knocked out and rather confused. JBL then sees Kennedy and he nails a Fall Away Slam onto Kennedy sending Kennedy flying to the outside of the ring and JBL spots Benjamin slowly stirring and trying to regain his balance to get back up and grab the briefcase above the ring. JBL smiles as he notices he has a shot right now but he doesn’t want to grab the briefcase just yet. However Benjamin doesn’t get back up and we then see Masters try to come from behind on JBL. However, JBL catches Masters and then clotheslines him to the outside sending Masters to join Kennedy on the outside along with him
JBL then notices that Benjamin has finally started to stir and then he sees Benjamin helping himself up with the ropes. JBL then smiles and he charges across the ring and explodes with the Clothesline from Hell knocking Benjamin down and out of the match for sure now and nobody stands in the way of JBL right now from taking the World title shot inside of the briefcase. The Wrestling God then looks to the outside at Benjamin who looks out of it right now and then heads to the outside. JBL then looks over by the barricades and pulls out a extra long ladder before he then tosses it into the ring and it is going to take JBL even longer to climb the ladder and the fans don’t know if JBL knows what he is doing is smart or not.
He heads up the ladder and then we see Masters attacking Kennedy on the outside but then they see JBL heading up top. They agree to team up and they climb back into the ring to try to get JBL down off of the ladder. Hardy and Carlito are back up now too and then slide into the ring and they both look to knock JBL off of the ladder to make sure he doesn’t get the title shot at anytime. We see Benjamin stirring on the outside and he slides into the ring looking to want to be the one who takes JBL off of the ladder and Benjamin explodes nailing Kennedy with a Super Kick, Masters then comes at Benjamin but Benjamin catches him and tosses him to the outside over the top ropes. Carlito turns around and Benjamin plants him with an Enziguri and Hardy then walks straight into the T-Bone Suplex!
Benjamin is feeling it now and he then starts heading up the ladder and JBL is halfway there! JBL speeds it up a little knowing he won’t have too long to grab the briefcase. Benjamin then sees JBL almost there and he then notices JBL is at the top rung trying to grab the briefcase! The Intercontinental champion then reaches up and then pulls JBL’s hand down preventing him from grabbing the briefcase and getting the title shot. However, JBL retaliates and throws some rights at Benjamin but Benjamin ducks after two rights, then attempts a huge kick to the back of the head of JBL but JBL ducks sending Benjamin down onto the mat with a Back Body Drop off the ladder and the fans see JBL reach up and grab the briefcase and JBL falls down onto the mat and is clutching his briefcase in his hands knowing he is the winner and has a title shot in his future whenever he chooses to use it!

World Tag Team Championships
3MW (c’s) vs Kane and The Big Show
Kane agrees to start the match off with Jamal. Kane then charges at Jamal and Jamal ducks, then throws some punches at the Big Red Machine. Jamal looks to take Kane off of his feet and then grabs him and scoops him up. Jamal then comes down with a bodyslam before looking to the outside early on at a table. However Kane grabs Jamal and gets himself back up, then sends Jamal into his tag team corner with The Big Show. Kane then comes charging at Jamal but the champion gets his boot up and Kane runs right into it! Jamal then charges out of the corner and takes down the Big Red Machine with a thunderous clothesline!
Jamal then tells Rosey to get him a table and Rosey drops down off the apron. Jamal then decides to head to the outside and then grabs Kane and sends him into the barricade. Jamal gets a table and throws it into the ring wanting to end it early off and take the titles back to 3MW. Jamal then gets the table and starts to set it up in the ring, he checks and makes sure it is set up the right way before anything could happen. Jamal grabs Kane and then tosses him onto the table before heading into the corner and looking to the top rope.
Jamal looks to situate himself on the ropes but Big Show pushes the one half of the tag champions off of the turnbuckle down onto the mat hard. Rosey sees this and then comes charging into the ring, but Big Show catches him, then nails a huge headbutt sending Rosey back across the ring. He then comes charging and nails a clothesline sending not only Rosey but himself flying out of the ring and now it’s down to Jamal and Kane. Kane rolls off the table and sees Jamal sitting himself up in the corner and then looks ready to strike
Kane comes charging at Jamal and nails a huge clothesline into the corner, he then sends Jamal onto the table. Kane looks to grab Jamal and send him through the table but Kane decides on not doing so. We then cut to the outside to see Big Show looking under the ring for a weapon. Big Show grabs a steel chair and throws it into the ring to Kane and Big Show gets another steel chair, one for himself to finish off Rosey with! The referee has no control in this match right now with all four men fighting it out in and out of the ring for the World Tag Team Titles.
Big Show then grabs the steel chair and smacks it across the head of Rosey. Anything goes in this match as long as the opponents are thrown into tables and the match will then be over. Big Show grabs the steel wire and starts choking out Rosey with the wire. We then cut to Kane in the ring with Jamal sliding off the table. Kane grabs the steel chair and looks to hit Jamal with it but Jamal catches the chair before it is swung at himself, then drops it down onto the mat before grabbing Kane and lifting him into the air, Jamal then comes down hard with a Samoan Drop onto the steel chair and Kane hit his back hard!
Jamal then heads to the outside to help Rosey and Big Show lets go of the steel wire as he sees Jamal coming to the outside after him. Jamal then charges at Big Show but Big Show moves and Jamal ends up hitting the barricade. Big Show then nails a hard punch on the back of Jamal and then looks over at Rosey. The Big Show slaps Rosey across the chest hard. Big Show then grabs Jamal but Jamal and Rosey start to double team on the Big Show before throwing him into the ring and looking to finish him off.
Jamal then grabs the table and scoots it over closer to the corner. Jamal then tells Rosey to send Big Show onto the table and Rosey follows through by sending Big Show onto the table and Jamal then tells Rosey to hold him down. Rosey then climbs onto the top turnbuckle and then looks to go for a splash onto one half of the challengers in the Big Show! However Kane comes out of nowhere pushes Big Show off the table knocks down Jamal and then climbs onto the middle turnbuckle. Kane then grabs Rosey and with a little bit of strength, comes down hard through the table with Rosey! Now Kane and Big Show have to put Jamal through a table and it’s over.
Rosey has been taken out but not eliminated, the rules are that both members must be put through a table to win the titles but there are no eliminations. Kane then helps his tag team partner, the Big Show back onto his feet, then heads to the outside of the ring. Kane throws a trashcan into the ring, followed by another steel chair, and then slides a table in. Kane sets up the table in the corner while Big Show grabs the steel chair off the mat. However Jamal grabs the trashcan and both swing their weapons at each other, a huge crash with the weapons! Jamal then smashes the trashcan over the head of Big Show.
Kane is in the corner looking to sit the table up in the corner. Jamal then looks at Rosey who is down but decides to wait on him. Kane has almost got it ready and doesn’t know that Jamal is up as he thinks Big Show laid out Jamal. Jamal then looks at Kane once more, then charges across the ring as fast as he can! Kane turns around but it’s too late, Jamal nails a huge running splash through the table and now Kane has been put through a table! The only people that have to be put through tables are Big Show and Jamal! The crowd is cheering loudly as this has been a brutal fight so far with these tag titles being so important.
Jamal and Kane aren’t moving right now with Big Show and Rosey still down. There are no count outs so the ref is confused on what to do. He surveys the carnage in the ring right now and looks out as Rosey is heading over to the corner. Rosey is pulling himself up on the ropes and he slides to the outside of the ring before looking under the ring and grabbing another table. "I Dare You"
Hello, let me introduce you to
The characters in the show
One says yes, one says no
Decide - which voice in your head you can keep alive
Even in madness, I know you still believe
Paint me on canvas so I become
What you could never be
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
Wear my soul and call me a liar
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
I dare you to tell me
I dare you to
Hello, are you still chasing
The memories in shadows
Some stay young, some grow old
Come alive, there are thoughts unclear
You can never hide
Even in madness, I know you still believe
Paint me on canvas so I become
What you could never be
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
Wear my soul and call me a liar
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
I dare you to tell me
I dare you to
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
Wear my soul and call me a liar
I dare you to tell me to walk through fire
I dare you to tell me
I dare you to
I dare you to tell me
I dare you to
I dare you to tell me
I dare you to

However Kid Kash rolls through and gets a cradle onto Noble and Kash can steal the title here but Noble rolls over and still has the cradle in. Secondly, what you did to me last summer screwing me over the WWE Championship is something I wont forget! I’m not going to forget that I should have been the champion and lost to you. Edge starts heading towards the ropes and he looks to pull himself up while Christian is starting to sit up in the corner, hoping that he can get back into the match now after taking the fall from Edge. Edge is back up now and Christian comes running at him, Edge however moves and sends Christian flying to the outside of the ring and now Edge is left in the ring with the referee.
The Rated-R Superstar thought smart and knew what he was doing whenever he saw Christian come charging at him by the ropes. Edge then climbs onto the top turnbuckle and looks to the outside, the fans are wondering what Edge is going to do. Edge then looks down at Christian and then he leaps off the top turnbuckle for a Crossbody to the outside on Christian! Christian however moves at the last second and Edge connects with the barricade! The referee checks both Angle and Van Dam to begin the match off and make sure nothing they have is illegal with them. The referee then raises the title and then hands it over before the match starts off with Angle and Van Dam hooking up. Angle gets the advantage though and backs Van Dam into the corner quickly. The champion then starts to rare back and throw rights at the challenger in Van Dam looking for every advantage he can get early on. Angle rares back and delivers another hard right once more before leaning onto Van Dam and irish whipping him across the ropes.
Van Dam ends up coming back into the arms of Angle who applies a quick headlock and is showing why he has some deadly submission moves. Angle pulls on the head of Van Dam and eventually gets him down onto the mat where he can work longer on Van Dam. Van Dam then clubs the head of Angle with his hands trying to get back into the match before he is worn down. Van Dam clubs the head of Angle once more and this time the hold is broken and RVD is back up onto his feet awaiting Angle to get right back up.
RVD meets Angle as he gets up with a kick to the stomach, Van Dam then grabs Angle and irish whips him into the ropes to which Angle comes back, sidesteps Van Dam and then kicks Van Dam in the gut. The champion then sends the challenger, Van Dam, into the opposing turnbuckle and Angle waits in the opposing corner. Angle then comes charging at Van Dam in the corner but Van Dam is quick to get his foot up preventing Angle from coming in. Van Dam then quickly jumps onto the middle rope, then grabs Angle and leaps off the middle rope with a Sunset Flip and he still has the pin on Angle right now!
Angle is quick to kick out and make sure the match doesn’t end this early on and the fans are starting to get behind Van Dam this early on. Van Dam grabs Angle as he quickly gets back up off the mat and then sends Angle into the ropes. Angle comes charging back at Van Dam but Van Dam dropkicks Angle in the stomach hard and Angle is sent down onto the mat. Van Dam then comes charging off the ropes and then comes back before nailing another dropkick, this time a sharp one to the head of Angle.
Van Dam decides not to cover however and then grabs Angle off of the mat. Angle is holding his head now after being nailed with a kick from Van Dam. Van Dam picks up Angle quickly and then slams him down onto the mat with a power slam. Van Dam then looks out at the crowd and then heads over towards Angle and stands backwards. Van Dam then checks to make sure Angle hasn’t moved and then Van Dam leaps into the air and nails a Standing Moonsault! The fans are amazed at Van Dam’s athleticism and RVD still has the pin on Angle
Another kickout from the current champion in Kurt Angle. Van Dam looks to be doing everything he can tonight with the gold on the line and this being his first main event at WrestleMania. Van Dam quickly gets back up not losing a step in the match so far. Van Dam then grabs Angle right up off the mat and then sends him flying into the corner. RVD takes his time and then comes running at Angle in the corner with all he has but Angle sidesteps his challenger. RVD runs into the turnbuckles and Angle scoops up Van Dam and then quickly delivered a German Suplex.
Angle gets back up and starts kicking on the back of Van Dam. The Olympic Gold Medalist is showing the fans what he has tonight to showcase. Angle then looks around at the crowd and they are all booing him and he shakes his head at them. Angle loses his focus on Van Dam through this though and Van Dam capitalizes on this. Van Dam dropkicks Angle into the ropes and Angle springboards off the ropes straight into a Spinning Heel Kick from the challenger and Rob Van Dam has been on fire throughout the match so far.
Van Dam then sends Angle into the corner and Angle goes flying into the corner. Van Dam then takes the time for a small breather but then heads right back over to his opponent right now in the WWE Champion, Kurt Angle. Angle is in the corner right now and Van Dam comes charging at Angle and then delivers a Monkey Flip out of the corner sending Angle flying across the ring and landing right in the middle of the ring. Van Dam has been superb so far throughout the match and showcasing what he has to bring to the table.
Van Dam is heading over onto the top turnbuckle now and he looks set to fly, something that he is skilled at in doing in wrestling. Van Dam is on the top rope looking ready to jump whenever Angle hurries up the ropes and grabs Van Dam. Van Dam doesn’t budge though as Angle tries to pull him off of the ropes. Van Dam will not let go now and Angle is trying everything he can to get Angle off of the turnbuckle. However Angle nails a headbutt to Van Dam, then grabs Van Dam and pulls him off the top turnbuckle with a Top Rope Belly to Belly Suplex! The fans are going nuts and Holy Shit chants break out as Angle makes a cover, his first of the evening.
Van Dam gets his shoulder up even though it took a whole lot to kick out of the move. Angle could have worn down Van Dam now which is a positive in this matchup. Angle then stares down Van Dam on the mat before getting him up. Angle looks for a Vertical Suplex but Van Dam slides off the shoulders of Angle before he can do so. RVD though is still worn out from the Top Rope Belly to Belly Suplex and cannot capitalize when he had the chance. Angle though shows no remorse and grabs Van Dam and this time successfully nails the Vertical Suplex.
Angle knows it’s not enough though and decides not to cover and continue to work on and wear down the body of Van Dam preventing him from flying. Angle starts kicking on the leg of Van Dam focusing apparently of course on the leg for his finisher, the Ankle Lock. Angle however grabs Van Dam right up off the mat and sends him into the ropes. Van Dam ends up coming back, ducking a clothesline from the champion, then jumping into the air and connecting with a Hurricanrana sending Angle halfway across the ring.
Van Dam is starting to get back into it now showing that he does have what it takes to get back into the match. Van Dam then quickly gets right back up off the mat knowing he has got to take advantage of what lays in front of him right now. Van Dam grabs Angle right up off the mat and slams him down back onto the mat before climbing back up onto the top rope. Van Dam then quickly jumps over Angle and then onto the top rope. Van Dam then comes down hard on Angle with a Split Legged Moonsault straight onto the body of Angle! Van Dam then hooks the leg quickly of Angle hoping for a victory right here.
Another two count for the challenger and Van Dam has given this match his all so far bringing out all the stops to this point. Van Dam does look angered now as he had another chance to win it there but was screwed out once more. However he doesn’t complain but gets back onto Angle and continues the work right now. Van Dam meets Angle and then grabs him and throws him into the corner. Van Dam then comes charging at Angle in the corner but Angle moves and catapults Van Dam! However Van Dam catches his balance on the top rope with great athleticism. However Van Dam turns around and looks to leap off the turnbuckle but Angle clubs him in the back.
Angle is going back to work on the challenger now with Van Dam sitting on the top rope. Angle then sits up Van Dam keeping him up. Angle then climbs onto the top rope along with Van Dam but Van Dam punches Angle and sends him off of the top rope down onto the mat below and Angle took quite a fall. Van Dam catches his balance before he is able to fall and then looks back at Angle below, then sees Angle getting up. Van Dam leaps off the rope and into the arms of Angle but Van Dam nails a DDT at the last second onto Angle! The fans are amazed and Van Dam makes a cover onto Angle hoping for another chance at winning.
Another two count breaks the hopes of Van Dam right now of taking the title home this early in the matchup between these two. Van Dam doesn’t give up though showing that he has everything that is needed to gain the win. Van Dam then decides to irish whip Angle into the ropes. Angle comes back however but slides underneath Van Dam. Angle then captures Van Dam and delivers another brilliant German Suplex onto Van Dam sending him flying across the ring and Angle looks to be gaining his control in the match back now.
The Olympic Gold Medalist then gets right back up off the mat after the German Suplex and starts stalking Van Dam. Angle is waiting for Van Dam to get up and as Van Dam does, Angle grabs Van Dam but Van Dam flips right over Angle. Van Dam then grabs the neck of Angle and connects with a spinning neckbreaker onto the challenger. Van Dam then finds himself looking out at the crowd as they give him a loud cheer and Van Dam is getting back into the match.
Van Dam grabs Angle up off the mat once more and then sends him into the ropes again, Angle comes charging but Van Dam leaps over Angle. Angle comes back once more but Van Dam does the splits on the mat and Angle runs right into another Monkey Flip, this time being one in the middle of the ring and Van Dam is dominating right now over the champion. Van Dam has done plenty of moves in the match and showing the fans that he does have what it takes to main event WrestleMania as he has done here tonight.
Van Dam then heads over onto the top rope and he climbs up. Van Dam then looks down at Angle as he is slowly starting to sit up. Angle gets up now and he then sees Van Dam on the ropes. Angle is trying to get over towards Van Dam but it’s too late! Van Dam leaps off the top turnbuckle with a highflying Crossbody and Angle looks up only to get nailed by it! Van Dam quickly hooks the leg of the champion and the fans start cheering for Van Dam, he could be wearing down Angle even more now and walk away with a win!
Angle quickly kicks out keeping the match going and Angle has been depended upon kicking out plenty of times tonight with the title on the line. Van Dam has dominated so far and Van Dam is back onto his feet right now. Van Dam grabs Angle and looks to send him into the ropes once more but Angle grabs Van Dam and kicks him in the stomach. Angle then connects with a Northern Lights Bridge Suplex onto the challenger! Angle has the bridge and the referee begins the count for the champion with the gold on the line.
Angle sees Van Dam kickout, which doesn’t make him too happy right now as Angle had another chance at retaining the gold tonight ruined by Van Dam. Angle looks angry now and he decides to head to the outside. The referee tells Angle no weapons but Angle doesn’t bring in any weapons. Angle has the title with him, which the referee doesn’t see. Angle looks like he is going to hit the challenger in the match, Van Dam with the belt. However Van Dam is up and spins around connecting with the Van Daminator onto the belt into the face of Angle!
The referee didn’t know Angle had the title all along until he sees it, he then hands it over to the announcer at ringside. However when the Van Daminator was nailed, the referee wasn’t looking so there is no disqualification. The fans are getting behind Van Dam once more as he is back into the match now and the title could be his very soon! Van Dam has given this match his all and he has shown that here tonight with all of the moves he has pulled off. Van Dam finds himself still lying on the mat exhausted right now.
Angle is still down though and Van Dam is crawling towards the ropes trying to get back into the match himself. The fans have seen a great match so far throughout the duration of it and still much more time is left in the match. Van Dam finds himself heading towards the ropes. Van Dam pulls himself up on the ropes and then runs off the ropes! Van Dam baseball slide kicks Angle to the outside of the ring and Angle goes flying hard to the outside.
Van Dam then heads to the outside and then throws Angle onto the barricade. Van Dam then climbs up the steps and back onto the apron. Van Dam does his thumb taunt and the R-V-D taunt before leaping off the apron and connecting with his Spinning Kick on the barricade straight onto the neck of Kurt Angle. Angle is well known for his neck problems and that could have just taken a major toll right now on Angle. Van Dam quickly tosses Angle into the ring and makes another cover on his opponent right now.
The champion Angle gets his foot on the ropes as he is unable to kick out right now after taking that beating from Van Dam on the outside. Angle will not ruin his chances at retaining the title tonight however and he will keep on kicking out for whatever it takes. Van Dam then gets back up to his feet and scoops Angle right up off the mat. Van Dam picks Angle up for a Vertical Suplex but Angle slides off the back of Van Dam and delivers a neckbreaker of his own to Van Dam and now Angle looks to be taking charge in the match once more.
Angle however is down on the mat taking a break, trying to get back into the feel of things as he needs to start working on Van Dam if he wants the title still. Angle then gets right back up off the mat and then begins his work on Van Dam. Angle starts kicking away on Van Dam again doing everything he can to handicap not only Van Dam’s leg for the Ankle Lock but to also prevent Van Dam from flying high. Angle then starts to taunt Van Dam and the fans are starting to boo Angle for this now as Angle is starting to wear down Van Dam even more.
Angle then pulls the challenger up off the mat and then backs him into the corner starting to throw some more rights at Van Dam before delivering a hard series of European Uppercuts straight to the chin of Van Dam. Both of these men’s bodies have taken a toll in the match so far with many high stakes moves taking place. This match has showcased what each man brings to the table. Angle decides to grab Van Dam and Angle then connects with another Vertical Suplex and Angle decides not to cover however.
Angle then has an idea and he starts heading towards the turnbuckles. The fans are confused, as the turnbuckles are not normally somewhere Angle finds himself heading. Angle then climbs up the turnbuckles and sets himself before looking back at Van Dam. Angle checks himself and he is backwards now and now the fans know what is coming. Angle then leaps into the air with a high stakes Moonsault and he nails it on Van Dam! Angle successfully nailed the Moonsault and now he covers Van Dam with the gold on the line!
Angle is going to go insane now knowing that he even pulled out an old move of his, the Moonsault for the win but didn’t get it. Angle slaps the mat in frustration having done just about everything he can for the win so far. However Angle doesn’t give up though and he sits up on the mat waiting for his chance for Van Dam to get up. Angle sees Van Dam slowly getting up and Angle goes for the Angle Slam! However Van Dam slides off and connects with a hard kick to the knees. Van Dam then dropkicks Angle in the knees once more sending him down to the mat.
Van Dam is getting back into the match now and he heads over to the top rope, Van Dam leaps onto the top turnbuckle and waits for Angle. Angle starts to sit up and Van Dam sees Angle starting to come towards him! Van Dam then leaps off the turnbuckle with a Flying Kick off the top rope sending Angle down back onto the mat where he came from and now the fans feel that Van Dam is back into the match for real now! The fans are continuing to cheer for Van Dam now as he sits back up after the kick he just delivered.
Van Dam then heads over to Angle and then picks Angle up. However Angle kicks Van Dam in the gut hard and comes from behind on him! Angle grabs Van Dam and delivers a German Suplex and he keeps the arms hooked. Angle then gets back up and delivers the second of the German Suplexes and he then rolls over on the mat. Angle finally gets up and finally delivers the third and final of the German Suplexes this time sending Van Dam flying across the ring and into the middle of the ring and Angle is pumped now!
Angle is feeling it now for certain and he starts stomping in the ring! Angle is pumped and he’s ready for Van Dam to sit up! Van Dam slowly starts moving and he walks right into Angle! Angle catches Van Dam and delivers the Angle Slam with success! Angle is getting into the match now and he pulls down his straps signaling the end is near for Van Dam! Angle goes to lock in the Ankle Lock but quickly Van Dam reverses it and sends Angle flying into the corner! Angle is laying down in the corner now and Van Dam is down too.
Van Dam is slowly crawling towards the ropes, looking to get back up and get back into the match now and take home the gold. Van Dam continues to crawl towards the ropes and he pulls himself up before leaping onto the top rope! Van Dam is on the turnbuckle on the same side as Angle and the fans know what is coming. Van Dam positions himself carefully, then leaps across the ring and Van Dam is going coast to coast! Van Dam connects with the Van Terminator across the ring and the fans are going nuts right now!
The fans are getting behind RVD now as he rolls across the ring in pain after just delivering the Van Terminator to Angle. Van Dam continues to roll around while Angle looks knocked out in the corner and looking to come to his senses. Van Dam is down in the middle of the ring now and Angle is starting to move in the corner trying to recover. Angle then pulls himself out of the corner now but is still down on the mat while Van Dam is heading towards the ropes to pull himself up. Angle and RVD meet in the center and start trading blows.
Both men can barely stand right now as both have taken a beating like no other in this match with so much being on the line tonight. Angle however nails a few hard rights to the head of Van Dam before Angle trips up Van Dam! Ankle Lock! Angle locks in the Ankle Lock on the challenger and now this might be the end for Van Dam! Van Dam is crawling towards the ropes for the chance to break the hold but he can’t reach the ropes. He continues to do so and is also trying to reverse the hold by sending Angle flying across the ring again.
Angle continues to work on the ankle of Van Dam and is trying to break it but Van Dam continues to reach out for the ropes. Van Dam is almost there to the ropes and Angle tries to pull Van Dam back into the middle of the ring but Van Dam has a last bit of strength and reaches out and grabs the ropes forcing the Wrestling Machine to break the hold. Angle has been forced to break the hold but he heads right back over to Van Dam to attempt to apply the Ankle Lock once more but Van Dam gets a cradle onto the champion.
Angle quickly kicks out and that was close for the champion. The fans thought we had a new champion there after seeing what they just saw. Angle almost lost his title just like that to the challenger Rob Van Dam. The fans are waiting for Van Dam to get back up and he’s heading towards the ropes to pull himself up. Van Dam has himself up and Angle meets him in the middle of the ring. Angle goes for a Belly to Belly Suplex but as Angle throws Van Dam, Van Dam lands on his feet in mid-air!
The fans are going wild now as Van Dam has pulled off some amazing moves tonight and that was just another to add to the list. Van Dam then grabs Angle as he turns around and then Van Dam spins around and delivers another Spinning Heel Kick straight onto the face of Van Dam sending the champion; Angle down onto the mat hard. Van Dam is starting to feel it now and he jumps back up onto his feet and the fans are going wild now. This could be Van Dam’s chance to grab the gold if he can capitalize on the chance he has right now.
Van Dam gets back up onto his feet. He then sees Angle is over by the ropes and now he has the chance to deliver another one of his moves. Van Dam starts by Angle and runs off the ropes before coming back and delivering the Rolling Thunder! The fans are going wild as RVD is back into the match and can he gain the title? RVD rolls around a little still feeling some pain from the Rolling Thunder as he always does. The fans continue to support Van Dam now and Van Dam is heading towards the corner.
Van Dam pulls himself up in the corner! The fans know what is coming know and everybody is going nuts as Van Dam positions himself in the corner on the turnbuckle. Van Dam looks around in the crowd and then looks down at Angle. He then jumps straight into the air and goes flying through the air connecting with the Five Star Frog Splash! The US Airways Center is going nuts right now with RVD rolling around in pain. However Van Dam quickly heads over to Angle and throws his hand on Angle and the referee counts

*Video Package for WrestleMania 22 Is Shown played to I Dare You*
First off, thank god this PPV is up. I've had the matches planned since December of last year and I've changed some around but for the majority of matches, they stayed what they were supposed to. Secondly, thanks for all of the loyal supporters out there with this thread. I know I usually lack on doing reviews and that's one thing I'm working on! Speaking of reviews, many PPV's have been put out over the past few days and perhaps when I get back reviews can be handed out. That brings me to my next point, it's time for vacation! Haha, I'll be gone from either Monday or Tuesday of this upcoming week through Tuesday July 25. I'll be back on the 25th, then heading out on another vacation trip on the 26th through the 30th. So basically the rest of this month I won't be on. School starts back next month and basically back to the normal routine. So basically if you give me a review, a full review that is, you will get a review returned with rep. However if you read my vacation schedule, you most likely won't get a review until August. Now, for all of you page freaks out there, I believe this was an even 100 pages, I'll have to check again but it turned out well. Whenever I start writing again in August, the road to Backlash will begin. Many new things will come from this thread including a new layout for my shows! So stay tuned come August whenever I start booking again!

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury
United States Championship
Triple Threat Match
Rey Mysterio © vs Booker T vs Chris Benoit
A great match to start off the show. This was an excellent match up. You made all three men look good in this match. This did drag a bit. 12 minutes would have been good but whatever.
Trish Stratus © vs Mickie James
I don’t think this was better than the real one at Mania, but it still was good. James winning had to be done.
Inter-Promotional MITB Ladder Match
Firstly, let me say this MITB was better than any other I have read or watched. It just seemed so exciting and I am very happy JBL came out the winner. However since he is on Smackdown, he better not ruin Edge’s reign
World Tag Team Championships
3MW (c’s) vs Kane and The Big Show
Meh, this match was ok. I was hoping Show and Kane would win, but I didn’t think too highly of this match. A tables match at Mania never seemed right.
Jamie Noble © vs. Kid Kash
*Yawn * Sorry but I have never been a fan of cruserweights. But honestly, this match was actually pretty good, but not great.
*WWE Tag Team Championships
2 out of 3 Falls Match
MNM (c’s) vs Brian Kendrick and Paul London
Now this tag team title match was better than Raw’s. 2 out of 3 falls made it even better. MNM get the first fall, which I kind of expected them to. London and Kendrick get the second fall, which is no surprise at all. Finally Londond and Kendrick win it all! Way to go! Although MNM was who I wanted. Strangely enough, neither tag team match turned out how I wanted it to L
8.5/10 (MOTN so far)
Chris Jericho vs John Cena
Ah yeas! This is one of the matches I have been waiting for. Cena seems like his normal self (superman) in this match, and ends up winning, which I am really pissed off at! But it was a good match overall.
Batista vs The Undertaker
This match could have been longer, but was good for these two. Better than the real Wrestlemania opponent Taker faced. Just wish it could of gone on a little bit longer. If it had, would have been MOTN so far.
Randy Orton vs The Rock
Shit! This match is great! Both men looking good and I like the Rock losing (I will never forgive him for leaving WWE). Weak ending, but was a great match. MOTN so far!
Shawn Michaels vs Triple H
McMahons with Hunter=HBK’s demise! BUT WAIT! MICHAELS WINS! Michaels finds a way to win! Stone Cold helps! MOTN so far.
Edge © vs Christian
This match was great. Edge and Christian always makes a good match. I was sure Christian would win though (glad he didn’t) but since you are one of his peeps/fans, I would expect you to have him win. Guess you thought Edge was the better choice. But what really surprised me was Edge making Christian submit to the Edgeucator. I never expected that. Great match! Great Finish! Great result. Perfect score!
Kurt Angle © vs Rob Van Dam
This match was much better than I expected! I still say Edge/Christian for MOTN, but this is second place. This was truly a great Main Event! RVD winning had to happen, and a great way to end Wrestlemania, leaving the crowd happy with a new champion! Even though it isn’t MON, still gets a 10/10.
Promos: All of the promos were great but the one with Eugene and Steamboat and with Eugene and Rock (both in one) made me feel a bit queezy reading it.
Length: 44000 words is excellent for Mania!
Realsim: I felt everything was in tip top shape here. Nothing unrealistic to me.
Spelling/Grammer: Found a few grammer mistakes.
Entertainment: This show was DA BOMB! This shows sub name was entertaining!
Overall: 150/170= 88/100= B+.
Defidently imo goes up there with Wolfies, Arjun’s, and Kid O Mac’s Mania. Awesome man! Just awesome!
Edit: For some reason, I am harsher on PPV's then I am on regular shows

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury
Booker T/Benoit/Mysterio- This was a great choice to start off the show, and it didnt dissapoint. DOnt like Mystrerio retaining. ***1/4
Mickie/Trish: Dont really care for womens matches. NO GRADE.
MITB Match: Great match. Very good. JBL coming out the winner is great, and it looks like he will be WWE Champion sometime in this thread. ****
3MW/Kane & Show- Alright match, but nothing to special. 3MW winning is good. **1/2
Kash/Noble- Good Cruserweight match. It looks like I enjoy Cruserweights more than EBboy. Wish Kash got the win. ***1/2
MNM/Kendrick & London- Great tag match, and better than Raw's tag match by a mile. The 2 out of 3 Falls stipulation helped it a lot. Love Kendrick & London getting the win. MOTN so far. ****
Jericho/Cena- Good match. Man, I hate it when Cena plays Superman and wins. You should give him a "Superman" gimmick, and call him "Super Cena." Everything was good except the ending. ***
Batista/Taker- Good match. THANK YOU for not pulling a KoM on us, by having Taker job at Mania. I'll give you an extra star for that. ***
Rock/Orton- LOVE THIS MATCH. Love Rock jobbing to Orton. I hate Rock for eaving, after his family has been wrestling for so many years. ****1/4
Michaels/HHH- Dont like HHH jobbing again at a Wrestlemania, but at least this time it was to someone credible. ****1/4
Christian/Edge- Ok. I LOVED THIS MATCH ASWELL. Anytime Christian and Edge are in the same ring together, you get good rusults. This was no differant. I didnt expect Edge to win, much less make Christian submit. *****.
RVD/Angle- I hoped Angle would win, but I was wrong. Great match. The ending was great to send the fans home and the fans at home to sleep, knowing that RVD is finally on top of the mountain. *****.
Overall- I Would Give you an A. This was a great WRestlemania. I wish WWE could make it this good. I wish you could make this into a DVD. It would own. Have fun on your vacation. You earned it!!
