Smackdown! Review:

Matches/Booking: 6 matches is good. All summaries weren't ridiculously long. 10/10

Promos: All were good, opening could have been a little longer. Other than that, they were good. 8.5/10

Length: 13 pages is good for a two hour show. 9/10

Realism: Seemed pretty real to me. 10/10

Entertainment: I was entertained throughout. 9/10

Overall: 93/100 Good show, I'm anticipating some good shows as Wrestlemania is drawing near. Can't wait.

Thanks for the reviews guys. As for when they will be returned, I'll try my best sometimes this week with school out now. Anyways expect a Saturday Night's Main Event preview later on either tomorrow or this week.

I’m going to give you a review. You’re lucky to get one from me because I actually go into detail with my reviews, give suggestions and construction criticism rather than just saying “I liked that segment: 10/10”. The reason I do this is because it makes my reviews more desirable so people like you will want to review my shows more often. So here It goes…

A Message From The Ghetto

SmackDown! Review
Alright this is the first show of yours I’ve ever read so… yeah. Just be aware of that. Edge as World Heavyweight Champion, I’m liking this BTB already. Normally someone doesn’t hold there title above there head when they’re about to give a promo, Unless they won the title at the previous event and they’re a face. Alright a Edge/Christian feud is fresh, should be interesting. He’s the Rated R Superstar without a woman? Eh… He shows highlights, and picks Henry as his partner. Lol. This feud looks interesting.

Hmmm… a three man faction against 3 other men, you’d think they would work together and try to make it to the end together. The Mexicools try to get involved but fail. Kid Kash wins, never was a big fan of his but I hate the Mexicools even more, awful, overused, dried up gimmick. I’d love to see JBL win the MITB, a Edge/JBL feud would be awesome. Yes I’m predicting Edge as the victor at WrestleMania. Get Batista in a storyline to put him over, matches like this should only be used for new people coming in not developed stars. Very strange Faction, very very strange but they could be entertaining.

Randy Orton, This is your life? Is this a shot at Mick Foley or The Rock? Eh, I guess so, seems to be a feud going on here. Foley comes out as Bob Orton, not really very funny IMO. But Rock/Orton is a awesome feud, it’s going to be a great match at WrestleMania. When you use the Rock try to come up with some original content, he can’t always use the “It Doesn’t Matter” line and the “I’m gonna kick your candy ass line”, try something original. I’m sure it will turn out to be funny. London/Nitro seemed kinda pointless, IMO. The Booker/Benoit promo was pretty basic, it was alright though. Pretty obvious Benoit would win.

The MNM thing was actually pretty entertaining. You went all out on that one. Nicely done. MNM/Kendrick & London… Feud used in the WWE, used here. 2 outta 3 falls, nice twist. Good Dean and Gymini promo. Don’t know much about them though so I can’t judge it. Dammit, Hardy sucks, JBL should have won. You go straight to a commercial then come back with another match? No promos? You could have done a interview at least. The Undertaker is Christian’s pick, kind of saw that one coming. Good work getting Batista into a feud, you made up for that fault from earlier with this.

Overall decent show, some stuff was unoriginal but no big deal.

Default Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Matches/Booking: I liked the matches. The only thing I was thinking about was the fact that Christian and Taker would team up together only a few eeks after there NWO match. However then I remember weeks after Rock won the undisputed title from Taker, they both teamed up so I liked the matches overall. 9.5/10

Promos: I liked all promos however Edge's was a bit mesh to me, btu was still ok, but defidently needed Christian in it(ps: I hope Edge kics Christian's ass at Mania). 8.5/10

Length: Excellent length. 10/10

Realism(replacing spelling/grammer): I felt it was very realistic except maybe Taker/CXhristian teaming up. I'm debating on that. 9.5/10

Entertainmrnt: Entertaining show nontoleass. 10/10

Overall: 95/100. A. Good show.ay of rushed this review a bit since this is my first in over a month, but I can't wait till SNME which will be reviewed.

Saturday Night’s Main Event
Saturday March 18, 2006
Detroit, Michigan

*We then head out to the arena to Joey Styles, Jerry Lawler, and The Coach at ringside and we fade over and see Michael Cole and Tazz*

Joey Styles: Hello everybody and Saturday Night’s Main Event makes it’s long awaited return tonight here to NBC!

Jerry Lawler: Wow! It’s been almost 15 years since we were last on NBC with Saturday Night’s Main Event and it’s great to be back

Jonathan Coachman: The Coach is livin it up tonight and I personally can’t wait because we’ve got some blockbuster matches here tonight

Joey Styles: As for now, let’s send it over to our colleagues from Smackdown, Michael Cole and Tazz, how are you two doing?

*We then cut over to Michael Cole and Tazz*

Michael Cole: Thanks Joey and some major matches set for tonight including later on the number one contender is determined for the US Championship

Tazz: Chris Benoit and Booker T hook it up once again and I’m expecting that one to be another hard hitting match

Michael Cole: Plus Raw has Stone Cold vs Triple H and a Intercontinental Triple Threat but two major Inter-Promotional matches tonight!

Tazz: Randy Orton meets Mick Foley in a Hardcore Match and a major Champs vs Contender’s Match later on in the main event!

Match #1
*Intercontinental Championship
Chris Masters © vs Carlito vs Shelton Benjamin

Match Overview: Very well, fought out opening match between both of these men and they are giving it their all tonight before heading into the Money in the Bank Ladder Match come WrestleMania 22! Towards the end of the match, Masters looks to lock in the Masterlock on Carlito but Benjamin leaps over Masters and nails a sick neckbreaker onto Masters. Benjamin then sees Carlito and then Carlito covers Masters but Benjamin breaks it up. Benjamin then picks Carlito up and sends him into the turnbuckle. Benjamin then comes out of the corner and then goes for a Stinger Splash which he nails! Benjamin is then waiting on Carlito to stand up and Benjamin then comes at Carlito, he goes for the Superkick but at the last minute, Carlito ducks and Benjamin ends up nailing Masters who was just standing up. Benjamin then clotheslines Carlito out of the ring and then jumps ontop of Masters for the cover, One…Two…Three!!!

Winner and NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion: Shelton Benjamin

Joey Styles: He did it, Shelton Benjamin has become the new Intercontinental Champion here tonight and way to go Shelton!

Jerry Lawler: Took me by complete surprise, now what not a better way than to roll into WrestleMania with a title?

Jonathan Coachman: The Masterpiece was screwed! Hell Carlito even should have won the match, not Benjamin.

---Commercial---

Interview w/Booker T

Josh Matthews: Booker, in a few moments you are going to be going one on one with Chris Benoit where the winner becomes the number one contender.

Booker T: Listen up sucka, tonight I’m going to end this little war that myself and Chris Benoit have had going on since last October. Tonight I’m going to take out Chris Benoit, then regain my United States Championship at WrestleMania whenever I beat Rey Mysterio.

Josh Matthews: Booker for the past few months, you and Benoit have waged war in numerous matches and do you actually think tonight will be the end of this war?

Booker T: Tell me you didn’t just say that! I’m going to make tonight the end of this war because I’ve been sick of Benoit running around trying to take my title. I was screwed out of the United States Championship in the Battle Royal in January and I’ll definently not be screwed out on my next shot at the title

Josh Matthews: Booker, Rey Mysterio has beaten you twice in United States Championship matches so will the third time be the charm?

Booker T: The first two times were flukes. Mysterio didn’t stand a chance and he cheated to win against the Five Time….Five Time….Five Time….Five Time…..Five Time WCW Champion! And at WrestleMania, I will once again be your United States Champion.

*We then cut to ringside over to Michael Cole and Tazz*

Michael Cole: Well coming up right now, Chris Benoit meets Booker T with major implications on the line in this match.

Tazz: I’m certainly looking forward to a great night here tonight because Booker T and Chris Benoit end it all here right now

Michael Cole: Well that could be it but I don’t know, I’m expecting Rey Mysterio to play some type of role here tonight

Tazz: Either way, whoever wins this match moves onto WrestleMania 22 and faces Mysterio for the United States Championship!

Match #2
#1 Contender’s Match
Booker T vs Chris Benoit

Match Overview: As expected, a very well technical and hard hitting match between both of these men which want their number one contendership spots. Both men stop at nothing to get this and it ends up showing during the match. Benoit nails a trio of German Suplexes before heading onto the top rope and looking to finish Booker T off. Benoit then comes off the ropes with the German Suplex but he misses and Booker T looks to take advantage. A few seconds later, Booker T then goes for the Scissors Kick but Benoit ducks, then Booker T throws Benoit onto the outside but Benoit ends up catching his balance and lands on the apron. Booker T comes at Benoit but Benoit nails him with a hard headshot to the gut, then grabs Booker T and seems to toss him over the top rope but Booker T catches himself. Benoit is trying desperately to do so and he then finally grabs Booker T and brings him over the top rope with a nasty Superplex onto the outside and both men fall down to the concrete and are knocked out. The referee counts down to ten and both men have been counted out and this results in a Double Countout

Winner: Double Countout

Michael Cole: Both Chris Benoit and Booker T got themselves counted out tonight and where does this lead to now?

Tazz: I thought for sure this was going to end tonight but I guess not everything can and will happen here tonight

Michael Cole: I’m wondering where this leaves Rey Mysterio, is he even going to defend his United States Championship at WrestleMania now?

Tazz: Of course, Mysterio is a fighting champion and never has and never will let down a challenge from anyone.

---Commercial---

*Break the Walls Down hits and Chris Jericho, the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla, makes his way down to the stage. Jericho flexes his muscles before he slides into the ring with the Highlight Reel set up in the ring tonight. He then grabs a microphone and then begins to speak*

Chris Jericho: Welcome to Saturday Night’s Main Event is Jericho!!!

*Crowd Boos*

Chris Jericho: Now last week on Raw, I gave John Cena a beating he would never….ever forget in his whole entire career. I made him tap out to the Walls of Jericho, a powerful move that has made many superstars tap out and I made Cena tap out last week, well come WrestleMania it will not be any different for him!

*Jericho Sucks Chants Break Out*

Chris Jericho: But as for tonight, we’re going to be having the Highlight Reel make it’s return! Yeah, the Highlight Reel returns tonight and my guest, well he’s none other than the man I made tap out this past week on Raw and the man I will make tap out come WrestleMania, everybody my guest tonight is John Cena!!!

*My Time is Now hits and John Cena comes out onto the stage. The crowd goes wild as Cena comes out onto the stage running around and playing to the crowd. Cena then comes down into the ring looking at all of his fans and then stares down Jericho. Cena then grabs a mic from the seat and then begins to speak*

John Cena: What’s Up Detroit Chain Gang???

*Crowd Pops Loudly*

John Cena: Now for the past two weeks, I’ve been beaten down by the Spirit Squad, locked in the Walls of Jericho twice and passed out in both of them from loss of blood. Jericho, I will be damned if you get me in the Walls of Jericho again because if so, I’m going to end up kicking your ass and getting my revenge come WrestleMania!

*Crowd Pops*

Chris Jericho: Cena, that’s your problem. All you worry about is kicking ass and taking names, well you know what, everytime you beat me last summer was a fluke! Every damn time and you even got me kicked off of Raw but I came back! I came back because I knew that I was going to get my revenge and my revenge would be taking the WWE Championship, something you haven’t had since January!

*Crowd Boos*

John Cena: So th…

Chris Jericho: And along the way, I’ve gotten some help from the Spirit Squad. They certainly enjoy beating your ass down because they are becoming recognized along with the single greatest wrestler this company has ever seen, the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla, the first Undisputed Champion in the history of proffesional wrestling! Chris Jericho!

*Crowd Boos*

John Cena: Undisputed champion or not, the last time you held the championship was in 2002 so you have no room to talk assclown. As for me, I only lost it in January, I held that sumbitch for a total amount of 9 months. Three more and I would have had it going into WrestleMania which would have meant a whole year, something you have never done and never will do.

*Crowd “Oooo’s” Jericho*

Chris Jericho: Oh yeah, well is that so? Well right now I’ve got some people that will give you a beating you will never…ever forget! Come on out!!!

*Suddenly the Spirit Squad rushes the ring and Jericho slides to the outside of the ring to let them do their job right now. Mikey, being the leader, slides into the ring first and gets taken down by a clothesline from Cena. Cena then sees Nicky on the apron and then flips him over which he lands on his back hard. Johnny then comes in and receives a Spinebuster from the former champion, Cena and then Mitch jumps into the ring. Cena then goes to take him down but then sees Kenny leap onto the trampoline on the outside, then leaps over the ropes into the ring. Cena catches him in his arms and then plants him with the F-U! Cena then kicks Mitch in the gut and throws him to the outside of the ring. Jericho eyes down Cena who is standing tall in the ring now and tension is in the building right now between these two men*

Joey Styles: John Cena got his revenge tonight against Chris Jericho by taking out Jericho’s hitmen, the Spirit Squad!

Jerry Lawler: With only three weeks left until WrestleMania, tension is certainly flying high in the building right about now!

Jonathan Coachman: Who in the hell is Cena? Superman? Every damn time he gets something, he always overcomes the odds.

Joey Styles: That’s why he’s a former WWE Champion, he has what it takes to lead him to the top of the mountain!

Jerry Lawler: I’ve got to agree with Styles. Whether you like him or not, Cena can and will find a way to get back into the title picture

Jonathan Coachman: Well you all know I don’t like him, it’s not a hidden secret and I just hope Jericho kicks his ass!

---Commercial---

*We then cut backstage after the commercial to seeTheodore Long standing in the back whenever Booker T barges into his office*

Booker T: Hey sucka, you see my match earlier tonight, I was screwed out of the number one contendership thanks to Chris Benoit.

Theodore Long: First off, it’s Mr. Long. Second thing, yes I saw the match and now I have a way to change the match playa

Booker T: Well you better start making the match official soon because I’ve got training to do before WrestleMania comes, the United Sta…

Theodore Long: Listen up playas because come WrestleMania, we’re going to be having a United States Championship Match! And the par…

*Chris Benoit then barges in interrupting Theodore Long which angers him*

Chris Benoit: Teddy I want my match for the title, you know I was scr…

Theodore Long: Now hold up playas! Before you interrupted me, I was going to say that at WrestleMania, we are going to be having a Un…

*Rey Mysterio then comes in and interrupts Theodore Long, Long is starting to seem really pissed as Mysterio holds his United States Championship*

Rey Mysterio: So Teddy, what’s going on with the title situation?

Theodore Long: If you would all stop interrupting me, I could tell you what is planned right now for the title playas! Now at WrestleMania 22, we’re going to be having a United States Championship match and the participants are the United States Champion, Rey Mysterio!

Theodore Long: “The Rabid Wolverine” Chris Benoit….

Theodore Long: And….Booker T!!!

Booker T: Triple Threat Teddy? Tell me you didn’t just say that!

Theodore Long: Oh I did playa and now if all three of you would get to steppin’ I’ve got some business to take care of, Holla back!

*We then cut down to ringside to Michael Cole and Tazz*

Michael Cole: A huge match added onto WrestleMania 22 in the Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship

Tazz: Well coming up next, a huge Hardcore Match between “the Legend Killer” Randy Orton and the “Hardcore Legend” Mick Foley!

Michael Cole: Randy Orton meets The Rock come WrestleMania but first, he has to take on Foley in Foley’s own game.

Tazz: The odds don’t favor Orton but he has defeated Foley before and could he defeat once more in his own match?

Match #3
Hardcore Match
Randy Orton vs Mick Foley

Match Overview: Very sick and well contested match between both of these men who give it their all in a Hardcore environment. Foley uses his hardcore experience while Orton uses his meanstreak to put on a very great match. Some hardcore spots include Orton getting nailed hard in the gut with a shot from the barbed wire bat, Foley gets a backbreaker onto a trash can and some other exciting moments in this great match. Towards the end, The Rock interferes and then comes into the ring. However Orton grabs him and sends him into the ropes to which Orton ducks, the Rock then comes back into a clothesline from Orton. Orton then tosses The Rock to the outside and then Orton slides to the outside himself. He grabs a table and throws it into the ring and then grabs a bag. Orton sets up the table and then grabs the bag. He starts pouring the bag and then thousands of tacks lay down on the table. Orton then tosses Foley onto the top rope. Orton grabs himself and heads onto the middle rope, then grabs the head of Foley and comes down with a RKO through the table with tacks and both men are busted open even more now. Orton can barely move but finds a way to put a hand over Foley and he has the cover, One…Two…Three

Winner: Randy Orton

---Commercial---

*Interview with Triple H*

Maria: Triple H, in a few moments you will be facing Stone Hot Steve Austin, any thoughts on your match with Stone Hot?

Triple H: Wow, what a bimbo you are. Stone Cold Steve Austin, you stuck your nose into my business with Shawn Michaels and now you will pay! I personally guarantee that when I finish you tonight, Mr. McMahon’s surpise for you will be waiting for you come Monday night on Raw and I’m excited to see your reaction!

Maria: What’s going to happen?

Triple H: Maria, you might be hot but you’ve got the mind of a two year old. Now to make things clear for you, I defeat Steve Austin tonight, he gets a surprise on Raw this week, then I defeat Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania and I end his career. Now can it get any easier for you to understand right now, Maria?

Maria: Huh, what did you say?

Triple H: You know, just forget it! I’ve got a match to attend to and Austin let me tell you this. We’ve wrestled each other before, we’ve beaten each other down all across the world and tonight will be no different. We are both walking in as ourselves right now but when the time for the match is over, things will be settled. And for you right now Steve, it’s time for you to do something that you haven’t done in awhile. It’s Time to Play the Game!!!

*The Game hits and Triple H comes out onto the stage, looking serious as normal. Triple H then heads down to the ring and then drinks water from his water bottle. He then throws it into the crowd and then does his normal taunt with the water. He then comes into the ring and heads over onto the turnbuckle where he poses up there and he jumps down waiting for Steve Austin*

Lilian Garcia: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and here are the stipulations. If Stone Cold wins, he can referee the Shawn Michaels/Triple H match at WrestleMania! However if he loses, he receives a surprise from Mr. McMahon this Monday on Raw! Introducing first from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing in at 260 pounds, he is “The Game” Triple H!!!

*Glass Shatters hits and Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out onto the stage chugging beer and then rides down on his four-wheeler. Austin then rides down to the ring and then comes into the ring chugging more beer. He then climbs onto the top turnbuckle and then smashes his beers together and then jumps down*

Match #4
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Triple H

Match Overview: Very hard-hitting match in which Shawn Michaels has been banned from ringside to prevent anything from happening. Austin and Triple H brawl throughout the entire match and even look to get themselves counted out a few times. However Triple H looks to take advantage but Austin stops him and does his ten punch combo off the ropes. Austin then comes off the ropes and knocks down Triple H with a sick looking clothesline. Austin then grabs Triple H and goes for the Stunner but Triple H pushes him off and then Austin wonders right back into the hands of Triple H with the Spinebuster! Triple H is now taunting Austin and telling him to sit up and Austin is making his way up. Austin then turns around into the arms of Triple H and Triple H nails a kick hard to the gut of Austin. Triple H then hooks the arms of Austin between his legs and then grabs Stone Cold and comes down with the Pedigree! Triple H is smiling in the meantime and then he crawls over onto Stone Cold Steve Austin and now he has the cover, One…Two…Three!!!

Winner: Triple H

*We then cut over to ringside to the Raw announce team*

Joey Styles: Damn it, Stone Cold Steve Austin lost tonight and there is no telling what awaits him come this Monday

Jerry Lawler: Considering it being the mind of Vince McMahon, well anything could happen to Austin this Monday

Jonathan Coachman: I am loving it now. First off Michaels was banned from ringside and now Austin lost to the Game.

Joey Styles: Shawn Michaels didn’t even have a chance to show up and support Austin tonight in the match no matter what.

Jerry Lawler: Well the only thing that really matters is that Triple H did get the win and now we’ve got to wait to see what McMahon does this Monday

Jonathan Coachman: Styles, are you crazy? Michaels cheering on Austin? Please, he would have just interfered every damn second

---Commercial---

*Unleashed hits and Batista comes out in a suit to the stage. He comes out doing his normal taunts and sets the pyro off before heading down into the ring. Batista then slides into the ring and then looks at the casket in the ring. We see flowers set up all around and other funeral items in the ring including tissues in the ring*

Batista: Tonight we have come to mourn the death of The Undertaker’s WrestleMania record of 13-0 because at WrestleMania 22, I will defeat and destroy Batista in the process and I will become the first man to end the undefeated record, a record known all around the world and my name will be in the record books for that.

*Crowd Boos*

Batista: As you can tell tonight, we are set for perhaps one of the saddest nights in the WWE history because as I said, we mourn the death of the Undertaker’s WrestleMania record. Many people have tried and all have failed but come this WrestleMania, the beast wil be unleashed and I will indeed defeat Undertaker in the process!

*Crowd Boos*

Batista: I’m not here to brag at all just because I know I’m going to defeat The Undertaker but you all know it’s the truth. I’m a former World-Heavyweight Champion and I have been through and destroyed many people including Triple H, JBL, Christian, and now you can all add onto that list with the Undertaker!

*Batista Sucks Chants Break Out*

Batista: However come Wr….

*Suddenly Gong hits and the lights go out! A lightning bolt strikes the stage and then we start to hear the voice of The Undertaker on the titantron*

The Undertaker: Batista….

*Crowd Pops for ‘Taker*

The Undertaker: At WrestleMania…your name is added to the names of all of the people I have went through at WrestleMania!

*Crowd Pops*

The Undertaker: You cannot hide from the Deadman and come WrestleMania 22, I will make you look like all of my other opponents. I’ll defeat you and your name will be added onto the names such as Jake Roberts, Jimmy Snuka and most recently, Randy Orton! Batista, at WrestleMania 22….

*Crowd Pops*

The Undertaker: Rest…In…Peace!!!

*Gong hits again and the lights go out again. A lightning bolt strikes the stage once more and then we see Batista in the ring. He looks worried now and he is quiet as he looks down at the casket and starts to wonder what he has gotten himself into. Batista then makes his way up the stage as we then cut to a commercial*

Michael Cole: The Undertaker is sending a message to Batista as he normally does and if I was Batista, I would be concerned.

Tazz: Batista could find himself in trouble come WrestleMania and if I were him, I’d try to find a way out and quick.

Michael Cole: Big odds against Batista at WrestleMania and can he overcome them is the question that everybody wants to know!

Tazz: I’m not so sure because Undertaker has always been known for his streak and I don’t see Batista ending it at WrestleMania.

---Commercial---

Match #5
Champions vs Contenders Match
Edge © and Kurt Angle © vs Christian and Rob Van Dam

Match Overview: Well contested match with both of the WrestleMania opponents not really getting into the ring not spoiling the match as much. So most of the time, it’s Angle vs Christian and Edge vs Rob Van Dam. Towards the end, Edge and RVD are in the ring with each other and Edge takes down RVD with a suplex. Edge then heads into the corner and then decides to go for a Spear. However Angle comes into the ring and sneaks up behind RVD but RVD moves and at the last second, Edge nails the Spear onto Angle, his tag team partner! RVD then spins Edge around and nails the Roundhouse Kick! RVD then sees Christian come in and RVD climbs onto the top turnbuckle. However Edge is on the outside and Christian grabs a chair and they both swing the chair at each other at the same time! The referee then rings the bell for a no contest but RVD gets Christian to hold the chair for him. RVD then leaps off the top rope while Christian tosses the chair into the air and RVD nails a Van Terminator onto the face of Angle! Christian then grabs the chair and then kicks Edge in the gut and nails a Unprettier onto the chair and lays out Edge as both Christian and Rob Van Dam celebrate in the ring!

Winners: No Contest

SNME Review

Match #1
*Intercontinental Championship
Chris Masters © vs Carlito vs Shelton Benjamin

Ok honetsly, I liked Masters as champion, and like Coach said, if Masters didn't win, then Carlito should have. I really hope you don't get rid of Masters. After that 8 month reign and Benjmain as the current IC Champion, I can't stand him now. But a good overview in all with imo, a bad ending.
7.5/10

Match #2
#1 Contender’s Match
Booker T vs Chris Benoit

This time it was an awsome match overview, but with a bad ending. I don't understand this. Hopefully as we go through the show, I'll see what the deal is with this.
8.5/10

Match #3
Hardcore Match
Randy Orton vs Mick Foley

Nice Hardcore match and I finally like the result. Great contest and great result. Nice overview. MOTN from what I've read so far. 9/10

Match #4
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Triple H

Ugh, I hate Triple H. But I guess himn winning here wasn't s bad as I will like to see what the surprise is from Mr. mcMahon. But a great overview. I enjoyed it and Triple H winning wasn't the worst thing that happened here tonight.
9/10

Match #5
Champions vs Contenders Match
Edge © and Kurt Angle © vs Christian and Rob Van Dam

Great match. Iwas kind of hoping we woud see Edge/Christian and Angle/RVD together in this match. I was also hoping fora winner since the other match was a double count out, but I guess life is not fair. MOTN for the overview.
9.5/10

Promos: Great promos. Loved the Batista Funeral and I liked Jericho coming out. Also my question was answered as to why Benoit/Booker was a double countout. Nice triple threat added to Mania for the US Title.
9.5/10

Length: 11 pages is pok, although I was ho[ping for the show to be in full, but I'm not taking anything off for that. Also I was hoping for it to be a buit longer since SD!'s and Raw's are usually longer than this. 8.5/10

Spelling/Grammer: A few grammer mistakes, but nothing big. 9/10

Realism: I felt the show was realistic overall, but one thing I thought shouldn't of happened, was the IC Title change. You should of savexd that till Mania if anything but not at SNME. 9.5/10

Entertainment: Very entertaining show. I would defidently love to watch this (wuth matches infull of course) but defidently was worth reading even for an overview. 10/10

Overall: 90/100. A. Great show man. This ust gets me more physced for Mania. I can't wait!

Bit of a shock in the opener, with Shelton taking the IC title, but its always good to see something happen that nobody predicted. Shelton now has all the momentum going towards mania, and he has to be a threat for the MITB contract, leaving the way open for Masters and Carlito to carry on their feud

Booker and Benoit is up next, and this looked to be a solid match, but the double countout ending was always going to happen. I guess the triple threat will be announced sooner or later, and then the longest hyped match can actually happen

Highlight Reel did its job I guess, but it wasn’t one of you stronger promos to be honest. It just didn’t seem to have the intensity it should have had, and I don’t know what more can be done with this feud. Nice to see Cena get the upper hand though on the SS, which gives him some momentum back

Triple threat is announced, and nice comedy in the promo with Teddy not being able to say what he wanted

Hardcore match looked to be a good one, and finally Orton can pick up the win he needed. Good ending as well, with the RKO through the table, and this match could possibly have been some kind of a rival for the Backlash 2004 one

HHH promo was weak to be honest, and I don’t think any of Maria’s comments as of late are working. Not too sure whether this promo was needed, but gave a bit more build I guess

HHH gets the win over Austin which is good to see, and now Vince has a surprise for Austin on Raw. Havent got a clue really what that will be, but it could have something to do with the mania match

Funeral was the best segment so far in this feud, but it still doesn’t convince me as one that is going to work. However, it is going in the right direction, so there is still 3 weeks for it to be got right

Pity to see the tag match end in a no contest, but possibly the best way so as not to make either man look weak. Good to see the faces come out of the match looking the strongest, but I’m pretty sure that the heels will get some revenge soon

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview for Monday March 20, 2006

Tonight the WWE strolls into Kansas City, Missouri and only two weeks remain until the spectacle, WrestleMania 22. Last week we witnessed a barbaric ECW Rules Match in which the WWE Champion, Kurt Angle, defeated a ECW legend, Sabu. After their tag match at Saturday Night's Main Event, Kurt Angle announced on WWE.com that he played RVD's game and this week, RVD plays his game! Angle announced that for his Pick Your Poison Match for RVD, he has selected his own specialty, a Submission Match in which Rob Van Dam, the Number One Contender, will compete in tonight. As for RVD's opponent, Angle said the crowd is going to have to wait because he has a surprise just like RVD had for him last week.

Last week in singles action, Shawn Michaels defeated Shane McMahon and continued his victory streak he's been on. However things will be different tonight for Shawn Michaels because his friend, Stone Cold Steve Austin lost to Triple H at Saturday Night's Main Event. And as per the CEO, Vince McMahon's announcement, Austin has a surprise waiting for him coming straight from Mr. McMahon himself. What will the major surprise be from the CEO of the WWE and what will Triple H have to say about this? Tune into Raw to see the what happens.

For the past few weeks, Chris Jericho has embarrased and beaten down John Cena. Two weeks ago, John Cena took on the Spirit Squad in a 5 on 1 Hardcore Handicap Match in which he won. Shortly after Jericho beat down Cena and made him bleed even more! Last week though was a different story as we witnessed a 5 on 2 Handicap Match. It was the Spirit Squad vs Cena and Jericho and things got ugly. Jericho turned on Cena at the end of the match and locked in the Walls of Jericho for the second week in a row. The ref became so angered he had ended the match. However on Saturday Night's Main Event, Jericho had Cena come on the Highlight Reel and Jericho sent out the Spirit Squad to attack Cena. Cena fought them off and stood tall in the end, what comes from here now?

Last week Kane and Big Show finally got their World Tag Team Championship rematches whenever they took on the champions, 3 Minute Warning. However 3MW got themselves DQ'd whenever they attacked Kane and Big Show and then both preceded to take to the ropes. Jamal nailed a Big Splash through a table while Rosey nailed a Moonsault through the table onto their respective opponents. However Kane and Big Show certainly don't seem too happy after being taken out and have demanded another match. Will Kane and Big Show get their rematch soon and if so, when will this match turn out to be?

In Women's action, the hatred between Trish Stratus and Mickie James continues and when will it culminate? After last week's decimation of Stacy Keibler by Mickie James, Mickie proved that she certainly is a threat to Trish's Women's Championship. However, tonight these two ladies will be across from each other in tag team action as Mickie James teams with Victoria to take on the team of the Women's Champion, Trish Stratus, and her friend, Ashley Massaro. Can Mickie gain another win over the Women's Champion or will Trish's team walk away the winners?

Raw looks good, I'll review it as I owe you a review. I'll also review SNME in that review for Raw
