Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Nice opener, and good to see Masters get himself into the MITB match. Would have liked a 1 on 1 match with Carlito to happen though, but if they are both in the MITB match, then the feud can last a bit longer

Maria: A hardcore match on Raw? I like hardcore action!
– what a line from Maria

Cena vs. The Spirit Squad in a hardcore match next week will be good, and nice build up to the Jericho/Cena match for Mania. Jericho will probably cost Cena the match I would think

Show beats Rosey, so I guess we get the Kane/Show vs. 3MW match at Mania. Wont be a great match, but at least the tag titles will be defended

Good promo with Masters and Carlito, and their feud will surely start in earnest soon. Cant wait to see it, as it has been built up brilliantly

Nice Mania commercial, although not the best one I have seen so far.

The women’s match was done well, and it looks as if Mickie is turning heel, if not this week then next week. Nice beatdown on Ashley, which is probably the trigger for the feud to start

HHH/HBK gets a bit more build up, which is good to see. HBK’s promo wasn’t his strongest, but HBK as a face is hard to get right. I see something going down at SNME with Austin, but I don’t quite know what it will be yet

Cena is back to his best, with the rap on the spirit squad, which was brilliant. That is what Cena should be doing more of in real life, as that is why people liked him in the first place. Good rap, and hope to see more of them

Shelton beats Helms, which had to be expected, and he will have a great time in the MITB ladder match

Carlito makes his way to Mania as well, by beating Flair. Nice line up for MITB 2 so far, and I’m sure that Flair will get on the mania card someway

Solid RVD promo, but something is still missing about this feud

RVD gets the win over Daivari as expected, which pushes the feud along well, but it still feels like a midcard feud, not the main event of Wrestlemania. It could well be the MOTN, but not at all keen on the build up so far, simply as there hasn’t been a lotof it

World Tour Still In Works

WWE Management has been talking about having a World Tour later this year where they would tour countries before heading back to the states and having a ppv. Other ideas have been to just have a small pay per view end up in a country such as Puerto Rico similar to when WWE held a pay per view in Puerto Rico in 2005. Even though nothing is confirmed, ideas are still being talked about if it goes through

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Friday Night Smackdown Preview for Friday March 3, 2006

A huge night awaits everybody and so many answers to be revealed on this week's episode of Friday Night Smackdown! In last week's main event, Edge and JBL took on Christian but at the end, Edge attacked his own brother Christian with a chair and taking him out and also giving Christian the DQ win in the match. This week Edge has told WWE.com that he will be bringing back his talk show "The Cutting Edge" and his guest...."Captain Charisma" Christian will talk to Edge about the attack last week!

In a shocking move last week on Smackdown!, the former World-Heavyweight Champion, Batista, called out "The Deadman" The Undertaker and challenged him to a match at WrestleMania. Undertaker accepted and now perhaps the biggest challenge of Undertaker's career will take place when The Deadman meets The Animal at WrestleMania 22! Will Undertaker get into Batista's mind four weeks before WrestleMania?

Shortly after Randy Orton defeated Hardcore Holly, Orton made a shocking announcement to all of the fans. Orton said that this week he would be calling out a legend to face at WrestleMania 22 for his opponent. Orton tricked the fans because they thought it would be right there but it turns out Orton said it would be the next week. Will we find out who Orton has challenged to a match at WrestleMania and what legend will it be?

The situation between Rey Mysterio, Booker T, and Chris Benoit continues to rise to a newer level each week. Ever since early January, these three men have been going at it and it certainly wasn't any different last week when Booker T cheated to beat Chris Benoit. It was announced that Booker T would then face Mysterio in a No Way Out rematch for the United States Championship tonight! Can Mysterio retain his title or will the 5-time WCW Champion become the new US Champion?

Last week, the "Wrestling God" declared on Smackdown! that the Money in the Bank Ladder Match would include three Raw superstars and three Smackdown superstars. It was made official this past week on Raw whenever Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, and the Intercontinental Champion, Chris Masters all qualified for Raw for the match. However this week, Smackdown will have their three superstars qualify and who will those three be?

During the Cruiserweight Battle Royal last week, the UKliq all ran down and attacked the Mexicools eliminating all three of them and taking them out of the title shot for this week. Finlay then told Theodore Long that they wanted the Mexicools in a No Way Out rematch, all three of them! Long granted his wish and now the match is on! Can Finlay, Regal, and Burchill take out the Mexicools or will Juvy, Psicosis, and Super Crazy win once more?

And finally, speaking of the Cruiserweight Battle Royal, the Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble defends his title against the Battle Royal winner, Shannon Moore on Smackdown! Kid Kash, Noble's former friend and bitter enemy, was eliminated early on in what was considered a sudden twist but Kash told Noble if he can't take the title, then Noble can't keep it! Will Kash be interfering in this match?

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Friday Night Smackdown
Friday March 03, 2006
Seattle, Washington

*Rise Up by Drowning Pool hits and we see a video of the Smackdown superstars play before we cut to the arena to Michael Cole and Tazz at ringside*

Michael Cole: Another huge night awaits us on Smackdown and I’m Michael Cole and he is my partner, Tazz!

Tazz: We’ve got some huge matches tonight and I’ve been waiting all week to see what indeed will happen with these huge matches!

Michael Cole: First off, let’s look at the card and we’ve got three Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches plus The Mexicools vs Ukliq!

Tazz: Two championships will also be defended as Jamie Noble defends the Cruiserweight title against Shannon Moore and our main event, Rey Mysterio defends the United States Championship against Booker T!

*Metalingus rings throughout the arena and the current World-Heavyweight Champion, Edge, makes his way down to the ring for his talk show, the Cutting Edge! Edge then throws his title into the ring and slides in doing his pose on the mat before he walks over to the chair and grabs a microphone off of it*

Edge: Last week in the main event, yeah you heard me right! Edge in the main event and doesn’t it just sound cool having Edge and main event together? Anyways I gave my brother, Christian, a chair shot to the head and it has been going around backstage that he received a concussion and needed many stitches

*Crowd Boos*

Edge: So tonight I’m going to be asking my brother, yeah you heard me right, I’m going to ask him in this very ring if he is sure he wants to face me at WrestleMania. Christian, you better be thinking smart because if you decide to face me, then I guess I will just have to bash you over the head and give you another concussion!

*Crowd Boos*

Edge: No hard love! We are brothers after all and it is going to have to remain that way for the rest of our lives! And I certainly don’t mind giving my brother another concussion if that is what he wants in return for facing me for my World-Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, then I will return the favor in my own personal way

*Edge Sucks Chants Break Out*

Edge: Believe me, the last thing I do is suck! I reek of awesomeness and you all know it because I’m the Rated R Superstar! Former Intercontinental Champion, former World Tag Team Champion, former WWE Tag Team Champion, King of the Ring but most importantly and you see it in my hands….

*Crowd Boos*

Edge: World-Heavyweight Champion!!!

*We Want Christian Chants Break Out*
Edge: You want Christian huh? Well you are going to get Christian because I wanted him the whole time out here! So everybody welcome to the Cutting Edge….Christian!!!

*Just Close Your Eyes hits and Christian comes out in blue jeans and a dress shirt not wearing his normal attire. We see his head bandaged up on the top from where he received the blow to the head. “Captain Charisma” then slides into the ring and receives a microphone from Edge before Edge starts to talk back up again*

Edge: So Christian, how’s your head feeling?

*Edge starts to laugh and Christian looks pissed*

Christian: Oh my head Edge? You find it real funny that you gave me a concussion last week don’t you? You find it funny that I’m missing a few brain cells now because of you and I could be as dumb as Mick Foley! You like that don’t you Edge? Well you know what I like, I like that World-Heavyweight Championship around your shoulder

*Crowd Pops*

Edge: What are you talking about?

Christian: That World-Heavyweight Championship looks just about my size and all I’ve got to do is get your name, the Overrated Superstar off of it and put my name “Captain Charisma” on the title and bam! It’s ready to come over to me come WrestleMania because mark my words Edge, you stand no chance at WrestleMania!

*Crowd Pops*

Edge: Oh is that so “Captain Charisma” ? Well I’ll tell you something that will make you wake up and realize this is reality! You are a nothing Christian! I carried the tag team, I was the one jumping off ladders spearing people’s asses and what did you do? You just hung around for the ride and got awarded with all of those title shots because of me! Yeah you heard me right, I said it was because of me!

*Crowd Boos*

Christian: Edge all I’ve got to say to you is that at WrestleMania, that World-Heavyweight Championship you’ve got, it’s coming home with a real man because when I win the World-Heavyweight Championship, the peeps will be on the streets rejoicing because That’s How I Roll!

*Crowd Pops*

Edge: The only thing you are going to be rolling is your ass straight out of this arena right about, hmmm..NOW!

*Edge punches Christian in the face and now it’s on! Both brothers retaliate trading lefts and rights before Edge then goes to spear Christian but Christian jumps on top of Edge and then keeps on punching Edge. Security then charges down to the ring and then pulls Edge off of Christian and Christian gets escorted to the back. Edge is mouthing something to Christian and Christian tries to jump out of the hold of security but he can’t and then we fade off to commercial with Edge standing in the ring smiling*

Match #1
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
JBL vs Bobby Lashley

Match Finish: A hard hitting rematch from No Way Out where both men give it their all to have a chance to be in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match come WrestleMania 22. Ending takes place whenever Lashley spears JBL down onto the mat and starts taunting. Lashley then goes to pick JBL up for the Dominator but JBL reverses it and falls back onto his feet. The Wrestling God then runs off the ropes and Lashley turns around right into a Clothesline from Hell from JBL who tosses Lashley over and makes a cover, One…Two….Three

Winner: JBL

*We then cut over to ringside to Michael Cole and Tazz*

Michael Cole: JBL has found himself heading into the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 22 and he could be a favorite to win

Tazz: He has never been in a ladder match before but it fits his style because he is a very brutal man and certainly will take advantage of the environment

Michael Cole: I’m sure the self proclaimed Wrestling God will try to find a way to stay alive in that match and look to take the title shot

Tazz: He’s going to have to overcome Smackdown’s two other superstars plus Raw’s Carlito, Chris Masters, and Shelton Benjamin which will be no easy task!

*We then cut backstage to see Josh Matthews standing by with Booker T*

Josh Matthews: Booker later tonight, you will be taking on the United States Champion Rey Mysterio for the title

Booker T: That’s right Josh and sucka, listen up because tonight Booker T is going to become a three time United States Champion

Josh Matthews: Booker for months you have been at the throats of Rey Mysterio and Chris Benoit over the United States title, why are you doing this?

Booker T: When Rey Mysterio took MY title, he basically took away a part of me and that is not going to be acceptable. Then that sucka Chris Benoit comes along trying to defend his little friend Rey Mysterio! Benoit, I’m past you, I’ve beaten you too many times to count and last week was one example!

Josh Matthews: One more thing Booker, what is going to happen if you don’t win the United States championship here tonight?

Booker T: If I don’t win? Well there’s no doubt that the Five Time…..Five Time…..Five Time….Five Time…..Five Time! WCW Champion will win! Mysterio stands no chance tonight, so now Can You Dig That……Sucka!!!!

*Booker T walks off down through the hallway and then we head to commercial*

*We head backstage to see the WWE Tag Team Champions, MNM and their manager Melina in the office of Theodore Long*

Joey Mercury: Hey Teddy for months now we’ve been having to put up with those two hooligans London and Kendrick and we want to move onto better things. I mean we haven’t been able to attend any parties in the past few months because of those two

Theodore Long: So what are you saying playa?

Johnny Nitro: What we’re saying is we want to get rid of this problem right now, here tonight, on Smackdown and end the careers of Brian Kendrick and Paul London. That way they can never win the titles from us!

Theodore Long: Well playas I got a solution for you! Next week’s Smackdown! We’re going to have MNM taking on the team of….Brian Kendrick and Paul London! This is not going to be an ordinary match, no this is going to be a 2 of 3 Falls Match!

Joey Mercury: What?

Theodore Long: You heard me right playas! A 2 of 3 Falls Match next week here on Smackdown and oh yeah I forgot something.

Johnny Nitro: What now?

Theodore Long: The WWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line and playas you better be ready because you’ve got the biggest match of your life next week!

Melina: Teddy I know you’re not going to do this to my boys! Both Mercury and Nitro have a photoshoot next week and if you put them in the ring with London and Kendrick, there is no telling what they will do to them! You need to change this right now or I’m going to have to talk to somebody and get you fired

Theodore Long: Go ahead and try to get me fired Melina and if you don’t leave I’ll fire all three of you right here! So get to steppin’ playas!

*W e then head back to ringside to Michael Cole and Tazz*

Michael Cole: Did you hear that Tazz? A 2 out of 3 Falls Match next week for the WWE Tag Team Championships, I can’t wait!

Tazz: MNM certainly got theirselves into some trouble tonight and now next week they’ve got to try to get past London and Kendrick, again!

Michael Cole: Both of those teams have put on some classic matches in the past few months and next week’s certainly won’t be shorter than that

Tazz: Hey we’ve got two title matches tonight and as a matter of fact, one of them is coming up right now because we’ve got the Cruiserweight title on the line

Match #2
*Cruiserweight Championship
Jamie Noble © vs Shannon Moore

Match Finish: Decent match but not the best Cruiserweight match on Smackdown ever but both men do put on a classic match. Ending takes place whenever Noble catches Moore who’s going for a Moonsault but then plants him down onto the mat with a powerslam. Noble then picks up Moore and looks to go for the Tiger Bomb and he nails it, One…Two…Thre….only to be broken up by Kid Kash and Kash goes on the attack of Noble with the referee ringing the bell to tell the announcer that Noble has won by DQ

Winner via DQ and STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Jamie Noble

*Kash continues on the attack of Noble before he then picks Noble up and drops him down with a Dead Level. Kid Kash then taunts Noble before he climbs over onto the top rope and leaps off the top rope nailing the Money Maker and Kash slides to the outside of the ring. He then pulls the Cruiserweight Championship away from the announcer and then slides into the ring raising the title above his head telling everybody he will become the new champion! Kash then drops the title onto Noble and then exits the arena as we head to another commercial*

*Burn in my Light hits and the “Legend Killer” Randy Orton comes out to the arena in his wrestling gear however though he is here to make the announcement of who he will be facing at WrestleMania 22 in less than five weeks. Orton then climbs onto the top turnbuckle and taunts the crowd before he then receives a microphone from Tony Chimmel and the music dies down before we hear Orton start to speak up*

Randy Orton: Last week I came down to this ring, fresh off of my victory over Chris Benoit at No Way Out and I promised I would announce what legend I was going to challenge to a match at WrestleMania 22. Well things changed and that’s why tonight I’m here and I’m going to challenge a legend right now

*Crowd Pops*

Randy Orton: People have been wondering all week what legend I was going to challenge, was it going to be Randy Savage?

*Crowd Pops*

Randy Orton: “Rowdy” Roddy Piper

*Crowd Pops*

Randy Orton: Bret Hart?

*Crowd Pops*

Randy Orton: Hulk Hogan?

*Crowd Pops*

Randy Orton: Hell, the list can go on and on and on! But I’m here to announce the real legend that I’m not only going to face…but also beat at WrestleMania 22 this year and my name will be ever sollidifed into the great names of the WWE but why wait, let’s take a look at this video of who my opponent is going to be!

*We then cut out to the titantron to see a blank screen before RKO and Legend Killer Productions cuts across and then we head out to somebody’s home but Orton is on the sidewalk before he bumps into somebody*

Randy Orton: Well, well, well! I’ve finally found the place! Hey can you tell me where **** (a truck passes by and we don’t hear the person’s name)

Man: Yeah sure, it’s right down the road. Can’t miss it, it’s a big white house

Randy Orton: Yeah thanks! Now let’s go see if we can find this legend’s house because I’ve got some major work to do before I beat his ass down at WrestleMania! Hey this must be it!
*Orton walks up the driveway and then pulls out a piece of paper, he double checks it before he knocks on the door and a lady comes to the door*

Randy Orton: Is this the home of (we hear kids screaming so the name gets cut off) ?

Lady: Yes it is, may I ask who you are?

Randy Orton: Randy Orton, third generation superstar, but hey you can always just call me “The Legend Killer”

Lady: Ok! Hey baby, you mind coming down?

Randy Orton: Ah don’t worry about it, just tell him I dropped by to give him this piece of paper and tell him I want to see him this Friday on Smackdown? Got it?

Lady: Ok!

*We then cut out back into the arena where the crowd is booing because they were tricked out of it thinking they were going to find out who Orton was facing! Orton continues to laugh and then grabs his mic again before starting to talk*

Randy Orton: Wasn’t that an amazing movie? Of course it was because it is a production of RKO and Legend Killers Inc! So the big question know is, who’s house was that? Well it doesn’t matter because quite frankly I don’t even know if that was the right house but anyways let me go ahead and introduce you to my real WrestleMania opponent…..

*Orton gets cut off and all of a sudden…IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! What the Rock! Is Cooking! Hits and “The Great One” himself walks out onto the stage to an unbelieveable pop from the crowd before he continues on down the ramp shaking hands with the fans and Orton is shocked because he didn’t think the Rock would be coming out here. Orton is stuttering trying to tell The Rock to get out but The Rock pulls the mic from Orton’s hand.*

The Rock: Finally the Rock has come back to the WWE!!!

*Crowd Pops*

The Rock: Yeah the Rock got your little letter challenging me to a match at WrestleMania, saying you can kick my ass! Well Randy Orton, you are the biggest piece of shit walking on God’s Green Earth!

*Crowd Pops*

Randy Orton: No listen Roc…

The Rock: Shut Your Mouth!

*Crowd Pops*

The Rock: The Rock is here for one reason and one reason only and that is to come off of my break from Hollywood, step back into the WWE ring, head onto WrestleMania 22, whip your candy ass all over the US, and then head to Just Bring It Lane, take a right on Know Your role Boulevard, then arrive at the US Airways Center where I will Layeth the Smacketh down on your candy ass

*Crowd Pops*

Randy Orton: You know what I think about yo…

The Rock: It Doesn’t Matter What You Think!!!

*Crowd Pops*

The Rock: The Rock accepts your challenge at WrestleMania and when I’m done with your little candyass, you will never….ever challenge any legend to a match because your candyass will be beaten down by The Rock and you will never…ever come back to the WWE!

*Crowd Pops*

The Rock: Now..If Ya Sammmmmmelllllllllll!!!! What The Rock!!!! Is Cookin!!!!

*If Ya Smell hits again and The Rock then makes his way out of the arena to loud cheers from the crowd and Orton is still in disbelief and doesn’t know what to think now because he’s got five weeks to prepare to face “The Great One” The Rock at WrestleMania 22*

Michael Cole: Oh my God! We have just witnessed The Rock making his return to the WWE and he certainly doesn’t seem happy

Tazz: Another Inter-Promotional match added to the card for WrestleMania and this certainly will be Orton’s biggest legend to attempt to “kill”

Michael Cole: Randy Orton got way over in his head and he deserves this because he doesn’t have a way from escaping now

Tazz: Orton should have never even taped that video that he did and now, he is pretty much screwed as far as WrestleMania is concerned

Match #3
The Mexicools vs Ukliq

Match Finish: Another No Way Out rematch and this is another fast paced, high flying match between both of the teams. Towards the end, Regal distracts the referee and this allows Finlay to pull out his shillelagh and he then charges at Psicosis and bounces it off of the head of him. Juventud then comes in and gets layed out with the shillelagh and Super Crazy is getting beaten down by Burchill. Burchill then grabs Super Crazy and leaps into the air nailing the C-4 before Burchill tosses Super Crazy over and makers the cover, One…Two…Three

Winners: Ukliq

*We then cut over to the back to see Batista walking around the back before he comes into the lockerroom of the Undertaker*

Batista: Hey, Undertaker you in there?

*Batista continues knocking before he doesn’t hear anything, he decides to ask one more time before trying to enter the room*

Batista: ‘Taker?

*He then slowly opens the door and realizes nobody is in there and the lights are on. Batista then walks on in and then looks around in the room. The door is left wide open and it stays there. Batista then looks around trying to see if he can find Undertaker*

Batista: ‘Taker, where are you at? I’ve been looking all week for you and I haven’t been able to find you since last week!

*Batista continues to look around and then sees an urn over in the corner of the lockerroom. Batista walks over and grabs the urn but all of a sudden, the door swings shut! The lights go out and we hear Batista start to panic*

Batista: Oh my god! What is going on in here?

*We then hear a faint laugh and then the lights are still off but we continue to hear the laugh. The camera focuses in on Batista in the corner starting to freak out and we hear Undertaker’s voice appear all of a sudden*

Undertaker: Batista! Five Weeks! Five Weeks until you…Rest…In…Peace!!!

Batista: No! I’m not going to lose to you at WrestleMania! I don’t care what your record is, I’ll end it just like that and when you come next week to Smackdown, meet me in the ring!

*We then fade out and head back into the arena to Michael Cole and Tazz*

Michael Cole: I don’t know what in the hell that was about but Undertaker sent an eerie message to Batista, his opponent at WrestleMania!

Tazz: Whatever the hell that was, it took a whole lot to scare somebody like Batista and I think Undertaker is the only person who can scare him

Michael Cole: I don’t know but I can’t wait because WrestleMania is coming up soon and it is less than five weeks away!

Tazz: Smackdown is going to tear the house down with Edge/Christian, Batista/Undertaker plus Orton/The Rock, and the Money in the Bank!

We come back from the break and we open to a blank screen before the 2006 Hall of Fame logo comes across the screen and it stays there for a moment. We then head out as we hear a voice start to talk to announce the next inductee

Narrator: “The Macho Man….”

*Images of Randy Savage winning the Intercontinental title from Tito Santana in 1986*

Narrator: A Intercontinental Champion and WWF Champion….

*Images of Savage retaining his title plus images of his match against Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat from WrestleMania 3 are shown*

Narrator: A true wrestling legend along with his girlfriend Miss Elizabeth

*Images of Savage holding Elizabeth up in the air in their reunion at WrestleMania VII are shown*
Narrator: And on April 1, 2006 we enter him into the WWE Hall of Fame

*Images of Savage winning the WWF Championship at WrestleMania V against Ted DiBiase in the finals are shown*

Narrator: Please welcome the next inductee into the 2006 Hall of Fame….

* We see the 2006 Hall of Fame logo come across the screen followed by in letters Randy Savage and we then listen to the narrator one more time*

Narrator: “The Macho Man” Randy Savage!!!

*We then cut over to ringside to Michael Cole and Tazz*

Michael Cole: The night before WrestleMania we will be honoring all of the legends from the past at the Hall of Fame ceremonies

Tazz: Big class set so far with Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Bret’s brother, Owen Hart and now the “Macho Man” Randy Savage!

Michael Cole: I can’t wait but still to come tonight, we’ve got two Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches and what a main event!

Tazz: You got that right, Rey Mysterio defends the United States Championship against the Bookman, Booker T!

Match #4
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Matt Hardy vs Simon Dean

Match Finish: Simon Dean gets accompanied down to the ring by his debuting tag team from last week, the Gymini also known as Jake Gymini and Jesse Gymini. More of a squash match between the two and Hardy dominates most of it. Towards the end, both of the Gymini try to cost Hardy the match but he nails a Crossbody to the outside taking both of the Gymini out and then slides back into the ring. Dean walks right into the Side Effect and then Hardy climbs onto the top turnbuckle and comes off the ropes and nails the Leg Drop! Hardy rolls over and makes the cover on Dean, One…Two…Three

Winner: Matt Hardy

Michael Cole: And we’re back from the break and before the break, Matt Hardy joined JBL as the men who qualified for the Money in the Bank Match

Tazz: Hardy’s going to excel real well in that match because he is a veteran of ladder matches and that has been proven in the past

Michael Cole: Well we’ve got one more and I’m interested to see who is going to be joining both Hardy and JBL in that match!

Tazz: I can tell you one thing, whoever it is certainly is going to have to step their game up because if not, they will have a hard time!

*We then cut backstage to see Chris Benoit standing by with Josh Matthews*

Josh Matthews: Chris in a few moments, you will be taking on Ken Kennedy for a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, how are you feeling?

Chris Benoit: Josh come on, it’s a obvious one because I’m ready to go out there and prove to all the fans that I deserve to be back in the main event and that I am for real!

Josh Matthews: Chris, you’ve been having problems with Booker T and Rey Mysterio in the past few months, where does it go from here?

Chris Benoit: After I win the Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania, then the business between Booker T will end but as far as Rey Mysterio goes, his United States Championship will be around my waist soon too!

Josh Matthews: Anything else you want to say Benoit?

Chris Benoit: Kennedy, you get ready because I’ve been ticked off for the past few months and tonight, you’re going to tap out!

Narrator: The following paid advertisement is to promote the upcoming World Wrestling Entertainment pay per view, WrestleMania 22. It will be live from Phoenix, Arizona in the US Airways Center on Sunday April 2, 2006

*We then head out to Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks before we then cut to the scoreboard which shows the Diamondbacks losing 10-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning before we cut over and see the WWE Tag Team Champions, MNM!*

Melina: So guys what have you thought about the game so far? I think that the Diamondbacks are the worst team ever

Joey Mercury: That’s only because Nitro and myself, we’re the best team ever and us by ourselves could beat a team such as the Diamondbacks

Johnny Nitro: Any time, any day, tell them to bring it!

*We t hen cut over and see a lady stand up and start screaming*

Lady: OH MY GOD! It’s MNM!

*Everybody turns and all of the ladies run at Mercury and Nitro while all of the men in that section run after Melina*

Melina: Run boys! Run!

*We then see all three members of MNM leave from their seats behind the plate and start running up the top and they are continually getting photos taken of them. However Nitro stops for a pose and Melina pulls him making him keep on running. They continue running before Nitro runs into the team shop and looks for a teddy bear for the Diamondbacks. However Melina tugs on him as they continue to get chased out of the ballpark. They make it outside and pause for a moment to look around where to go to*

Joey Mercury: Where are we suppose to go?

Melina: Look! There!

*The camera then turns up and we see the US Airways Center across from Chase Field and we then see all three members of MNM continue running down the road and Nitro almost gets ran over by a car while Melina is getting honked at by men in cars. Melina then opens a door quickly and all three of them jump inside of the arena*

Melina: We should be safe in here

Joey Mercury: I hope so! We didn’t even get to finish the game and we went that long without even being noticed

Johnny Nitro: Yeah but I was having some fun getting pictures taken of me and I wanted a souvenir too!

Melina: We’ll go back later as for now, we’ve got to worry about staying safe in here so we don’t get harassed by those crazy lunatics

Johnny Nitro: Uh guys!

Melina and Joey Mercury: WHAT?

Johnny Nitro: Turn around!

*Melina and Mercury turn around and they see everybody right behind them standing there real quiet and then we hear Melina let out her scream before MNM opens the doors and continues running down the road. Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Whoa. Orton vs Rock!!!! Huge WM match. Loving that. Gonna just give a few quick comments for now.

London and Kendrick challenging for the tag titles again in 2/3 Falls is pretty sweet, although I'd loved to have seen that one go into WM instead. I guess it'll still wind up as Kendrick & London vs MNM at the PPV.

Hardy, Kennedy and JBL make up an interesting trio for the MITB Ladder Match at WM with the three guys from Raw too. I can it being quite the showstealer.

UK Kliq = In need of WM match, especially Finlay

Liking the continuing set up for the Booker - Mysterio - Benoit triangle, which I suspect will also wind up as a great match for WM.

Looks like the Cruiserweight title is set to get a bit of spotlight too at WM, possibly in some kind of multi man match by the looks of things atm.

Not sure what to think of the Batista - Taker angle, as on paper it sounds great, but from the Batista segment on the show, it all seemed a little goofy. I guess thats a hinderance with any Taker angle, as I've realised myself in the past.

Edge - Christian is moving along nicely too, with Christian turning (or possibly full turned??) face. This is a feud that could easily continue past the WM event and into the JD PPV further down the road.

And finally, Orton vs Rock. Classic. Has WM moment written all over it, and I cant wait to see how you develop it in the remaining weeks.

Good all round show, but I suspect with Orton - Rock building on Smackdown, it'll start to outshine Raw now, headed into the PPV.

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Nice to see the Edge/Christian feud finally get some build up, as until this segment it was totally lacking in any, which is a problem for a main event match. To be honest I didn’t think that this was one of the better segments that you have done, as something about it just didn’t seem right. Just wasn’t convinced by it for reason, and I still think this feud needs a bit more of a build up towards it

A clean win for JBL is good to see, and him in the MITB ladder match will be good to see, as it means that he does have a chance of being in the main events again, which is were he seems to be heading. Don’t know where Lashley goes now though

Okay Booker promo, hyping his match later in the show against Rey, which will continue the build to the mania triple threat

2 out of 3 falls match for the tag titles next week will be great to see, and could be the match were the title change takes place. I think there will be some kind of tag match at Wrestlemania involving all the two tag teams, and that’s were the feud will end, but another match next week cant hurt

Kash/Noble also looks to be locked in for Wrestlemania, after the attack in the title match. Good feud this has been, and again, the match at the ppv should be a good blow off match

Nice video with Orton, which would have gained him some more heel heat. Huge shocker though with the return of the Rock to face Orton, and this will be a blockbuster match for mania, although I only see the Rock coming back for this match, as I don’t see how he can fit into the roster on a full time basis. Great promo from the Rock here though

UKliq get their win over the Mexicools, which is good to see, but I don’t see them fitting on the mania card, even though it would be great to see them there

Batista/Taker promo was a bit weird, although with a promo by Taker there is always that sense that you get from it. Looks like Taker is going to be the heel in this feud which is an interesting development, but could work

Big win for Hardy over Dean, and he is in the MITB match, which makes me happy, being a Hardy fan. Don’t see him winning it, but at least he has a chance to do so

Booker screws Benoit out of the MITB qualifier, which pretty much confirms that the triple threat will happen. Good to see Kennedy get into the match, even though I don’t really know how he would fair in a ladder match

Rey ends the show with a win over Booker T, which is good to see. Would have liked to have seen Benoit get involved in the match to further the rivalry a bit more, but a nice ending to the show anyway

Re: WWE Unleash the Fury

Smackdown review

A pretty good opening promo to the start the show, nothing too special nut hyped the Christian/Edge match well. Some nice words said between the two and they get into a brawl.

A good win here for JBL advancing to the MITB match, getting a clean win over Lashley which is agood for him. Will be intresting to see what you do with Lashley now till Mania.

Decent promo by Booker T hyping his match with Mysterio which should be good to read.

Noble gets the win here via DQ and i see the two meeting at Mania.

Very good promo and i liked how Orton tricked the crowd in the Video Package gaining him some more heat. Orton v Rock should be huge, i think you will give the victory to Orton as he will need it more than Rock and a win over the Rock would be huge for him.

A nice win for the UKliq beating the Mexicools.

Very weird promo here but that os what you usually get from Taker. Taker v Batista at WM Should be very good.

Huge win for Kennedy beating Benoit thanks to Booker T. It would be nice to see Kennedy get the win at Mania but maybe it is a little too early for Kennedy to get a Main Event push.

Intresting to see you put the US Title match last on the card. Big win here for Mysterio beating his rival and retaining the title.

Overall it was a very good show hyping WM very good. The Wrestlemania card looks great so far.
