That rule was put in place, I can only imagine, to prevent the younger bookers from voting for some of their favorites now, but haven't been booking long.
I mis-read it, I am sorry. =[

Not a problem, man, especially because you still brought up a solid point, really. BTB'ers who haven't been around the zone for a while shouldn't be voting. They don't know enough about the work that the bookers have done who are eligible and deserving for the spot(s). That's why I never voted in the HOF in my first year here - I didn't know anything about any of the established guys.

So if you're a less-experienced BTB'er, think about not voting. Not trying to exclude you, but it spoils the process if you're voting without a lot of prior knowledge.

That's why I'm not voting. I haven't been around very long, so I don't really know all of the talent very well. It wouldn't be fair for me to vote and I don't even know everyone that's deserving.

Just a small reminder heading into the weekend. I've so far received 12 votes but I'd love to at least get 20 before the deadline comes Tuesday. I'm going to start working on this next week getting the interviews and all that good stuff ready before getting it posted. So yes remember the deadline is this Tuesday March 11.

Agree 100%. I didn't vote last year because I'd only been here a few months. Submitted my votes yesterday, it'll be interesting to see what sort of turnout we get. There's really only 2 or 3 possible candidates to get voted into the HOF this year imo anyway.

Can we vote for someone who had a BTB this year but doesn't have it anymore?

A BTB that they are doing or not has nothing to do with who you vote for. You're voting for bookers, not BTBs.

So long as they meet the requirements (which I think is just having booked for a year and a half), then you can vote for them.

I'm still not voting in all honesty. I haven't been booking anywhere near long enough to be able to praise someone so much. I've only really followed KOP's thread long enough, and he's already there. I know who I would vote for though
