Re: Forever-Delayed does WWE
Like i said earlier, this Raw is posted in short recap form so i can spend more time on Taboo Tuesday, which is coming along fine at the moment
WWE RAW – October 31st
The show opens Triple H coming to the ring, and he comes out to talk about the title match at the ppv tomorrow. He starts off by running down all the achievements he has had in the past, including his 10 world title, his king of the ring title win, his royal rumble victory, the fact he has practically ended the career of Ric Flair, and the fact he has won 2 previous elimination chambers. He then goes on to say that if the fans vote for it tomorrow, he will make it a third victory. He then insults all the other men in the main event, explaining how he has beaten them over and over again, and tomorrow, and that what ever happens, it will be game over for Chris Jericho as the champion, but Triple H is just that damn good
After a commercial, we return and we see the Right To Censor in the ring. Steven Richards outlines why they should be chosen for the tag title match, so that they can continue to do the good fight for what is right. Unfortunately, he is interrupted by MNM coming out to the ring, and then Melina outlines why her boys should be voted in, after beating Punk and Kash time and time again. Punk and Kash then come out, and a triple threat tag match is announced, and starts straight away. The match is a pretty solid match, with nothing too spectacular happening, and ends when Kash nails the 450 splash to Test, and pins him. However, MNM then nail the snapsnot on Kash, and they leave before Punk can get their hands on him. As they walk up the ramp, we are reminded that there is a new debuting team coming to Raw, and they can be voted into the tag title match tomorrow
We go backstage, and we see Eric Bischoff and The Coach in the GM’s office. The Coach says he is fed up off people thinking he is going to lose tomorrow, and that he is scared of ECW. He says he will stop them thinking this, as he is going to call out ECW, and he will do that tonight. He walks out of the office with Bischoff, and walks into Rob Van Dam, who tells Coach that he just can’t wait until tomorrow night to see ECW so extreme on his ass!
We return from commercial and we see The Coach and Eric Bischoff out in the ring. The Coach bigs himself, running down his achievements, before Bischoff does the same. They claim they are not frightened of ECW, and then the Coach calls them out. Paul Heyman comes out to the ring, and he says he has a nice little surprise for them. They turn around, and we hear the old ECW music hit. Suddenly, Paul Heyman comes down to the ring, and he is followed by the ECW superstars. Leading the crew is Raven, Sabu and Rhino, and then there is a group of superstars behind them. They try to leave the ring from the other side, but another group of superstars, led by The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer appear, and they seem to have surrounded the ring. Then, *Glass Shatters* hits, and Stone Cold Steve Austin comes down to the ring, with a microphone. He gets into the ring, and he talks trash to Bischoff and the Coach. He then promises Bischoff that he will have fun tomorrow night, when he refs his match. He then nails a stunner on Bischoff, and this is a cue for the rest of ECW to enter the ring, as they go after the Coach. He gets nailed by a gore from Rhino, and then the Sandman nails him with a kendo stick shot. Sabu then climbs to the top rope, and he hits the flying Arabian facebuster on him. The Coach is lifted up, and then Dreamer has the Dreamer Driver on him. Finally, Raven nails the evenflow ddt to him, and then he is thrown out of the ring. ECW then celebrate in the ring, and one of them will face the Coach tomorrow night.
We then go to a commercial, and when we return, we have our second match off the night, as Chris Masters takes on Johnny Parisi. The match is a short one, and Masters claims victory after locking in the masterlock on him. Masters then celebrates his win, and we are then told that on Heat tomorrow, he will face off against Viscera
We go backstage, and we see Christian with Todd Grisham. He asks Christian about his match tonight, and how he feels he will fare tomorrow night. Christian responds by saying that in 24 hours time, he will be doing the impossible, as at Survivor Series, he will be facing himself, as he will beat Shawn Michaels tonight, and then everyone tomorrow. He then runs down all of the competitors in the match, and is about to finish with Shawn Michaels, when HBK himself turns up, and gives us another weird talk. He tells Christian he better be able to wrestle like he can talk, as otherwise, he will look like the fool all Canadians are, and he tells him that tonight in the ring, he will show everyone who the real captain charisma is
The next action on the show is a non-title match between AJ Styles and Gene Snitsky. The match is reasonably short, and it is an acceptable match. The end comes when Mohammed Hassan and Daivari come down to the ring. AJ is going for the styles clash on Snitsky, but the ref gets distracted by Daivari. Hassan then enters the ring, and he nails AJ with the title belt. He then rolls out of the ring, as Snitsky then has the opportunity to pin AJ, which he does. Hassan and Daivari then re-enter the ring, and Hassan locks the camel clutch in on AJ, whilst Daivari slaps him across the face.
We return to the ring and we get the tag match between Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin vs. Rob Van Dam and Charlie Haas. The match is kept at a high pace, and it goes on for a good 15 minutes, showing off what all 4 men in the match can do. Haas gets isolated early on, and he is dominated in the heel corner, with them not allowing him to get away. However, he counters a T-Bone attempt from Shelton, into a neckbreaker, and then he tags in RVD. Shelton also makes the tag, and he tags in Angle. RVD runs at Angle, and he takes him down, using his speed to dominate. He throws him in the corner, and hits a running cross body to him. He then goes for the rolling thunder, but Shelton clotheslines him down. Shelton goes for the T-Bone on RVD, but Haas saves him by catching RVD, and then Haas superkicks Shelton out of the ring. Haas then leaps over the top rope after him, and takes him down. RVD turns around, and he is smashed in the face by a steel chair shot from Kurt Angle, drawing a DQ from the ref. Angle then nails another chair shot to RVD to his ankle, and then he locks in the ankle lock. RVD is in agony in the ring, but Angle will not let him go. However, the ECW superstars in the building suddenly run out to the ring to save RVD, and Angle seeing this, lets RVD go, and he hightails it out through the crowd
After a commercial break, we go backstage, and we see Chris Jericho in his locker-room, and he is on the phone again. We hear part of his conversation, but again, we cannot hear who he is talking to. We here him tell the person that everything is going to plan, and that they know exactly what to do. He then puts the phone down, and turns around, and he is met by the boogyman, who does his usual routine, before telling Jericho he is coming to get him, and then he nails the clock over his head. Jericho looks freaked out, as we cut to the ring.
In the ring we see Edge, who has come out alone. He starts of by insulting the crowd, and the town that they live in. He then turns his attention to Matt Hardy, and he goes over all the times that he had beaten Matt Hardy. He then states that this is the last Raw where you will see Matt Hardy in the spotlight, as after tomorrow night, he will have nothing left, as the MITB contract that he somehow manages to share with me will belong to the true Mr. MITB, Edge. He says that Hardy will not even be able to walk out of the arena tomorrow, and that he will finish the job on Hardy that he started. Bank on it! Edge starts to leave the ring, but he is suddenly attacked from behind by Matt Hardy, to a huge pop from the crowd. He nails Edge with a series of right hands, and then he throws him over the top rope. Matt then follows him, and out from under the ring he picks up a ladder. Edge retreats back up the ramp, not wanting ay of Hardy at the moment, whilst we see Hardy sitting on top of the ladder, calling Edge down to face him
Next up after a commercial we have the Halloween Diva contest. All of the Divas on Raw come out to the ring, each wearing a relatively revealing costume in an attempt to gain the fans votes. The first diva to go is Stacy Kiebler, who as a member of RTC, has not dressed up properly. All the divas team up on her, and throw her over the top. Second out is Maria, who tries to eliminate Victoria. However, it doesn’t work, and Victoria press slams her over the top. Candice Michelle is eliminated after being clotheslined over by Trish, who then does the same to Christy Hemmie. This leaves us with four; Trish, Lita, Melina and Victoria. They four of them battle back and fourth for a bit, before our champion is the next to go. All three of the other divas gang up on her, and they all throw her over the top rope. Victoria then talks trash to Trish, but Melina sneaks up from behind on her, and she tips her over the top rope. It is then down to Melina and Lita, and it is Lita who picks up the win, after Melina is tripped by Victoria, still unhappy about her elimination. This allows Lita to dropkick her, and Melina goes over the top rope. Lita celebrates in the ring, whilst Trish stares back at her, and Melina and Victoria who are on the outside
We go backstage, and we see Todd Grisham who is standing with John Cena. He asks him about the title match at Taboo Tuesday, and Cena says he will try to bring the belt home to the chain gang. However, before he can say any more, Shawn Michaels walks past, and he gives Cena a bit of ‘friendly’ advice. He asks him how many more chances he needs at the title, as he has already had three, and lost them all. He then tells Cena he needs to be more like the heart break kid, and take his opportunities when he gets them. HBK then walks off, leaving Cena standing there.
We return from the commercial, and we see Shawn Michaels coming out to the ring, for the main event. Then, Christian comes out with Tyson Tomko, and the match is underway. The match goes relatively long, with both men putting in a good performance in a similar match to the one at Unforgiven. Except this time the match is a lot more back and forth, with both guys being tweeners with the crowd. The finish comes when both men are out in the ring, as well as the referee. Tomko enters the ring, and he goes for the big boot on HBK. But HBK ducks, and then he hits Tomko with the sweet chin music. He then slides out of the ring, and he picks up a steel chair. He brings it back into the ring, and he goes to hit Christian with it. However, he ducks, and then he nails the unprettier on him. He covers, and the ref slowly makes it across, 1…2… but HBK gets the shoulder up. Christian goes for another unprettier, but HBK counters it, and scores with a ddt onto the chair. He then hits the sweet chin music, and covers Christian, and gets the three count, as HBK is going to Survivor Series as the number 1 contender, if not the champion. He celebrates his win, but suddenly, John Cena comes down to the ring, and he is quickly followed out by HHH and Chris Jericho. The 5 men brawl in the middle of the ring, when suddenly, the lights go out, and the gong hits. The lights suddenly turn back on, and the Undertaker is standing is the middle of the ring. Everyone else has been taken down in appears, and they are all laying out on the floor. Taker lifts his hand up in the air, as Raw comes to a finish
