I never said you can't do this thread by yourself, you're good enough to run it easily and smoothly. It was just a shock to see Kane01 leave after what, two years of you two bringing my favourite shows around? Bit of a shock to us is all.

I hope you stick around as long as possible, as to lose another BTB great after already having Wolfy go would suck.

My KOTR comments are still coming along, expect them up at the end of the week.

It must be sad for this BTB to end after all of these replies. I will check back and have a look at Kane01's shows and yours too. I will probably start reviewing if you keep up this BTB, good luck on your own!

WWE RAW – June 12th

After opening the show with a highlights package from King of the Ring last night, Eric Bischoff makes his way out to the ring to a huge amount of heat from the crowd. He starts by saying that King of the Ring was a huge success, except for the fact that it wasn’t a Raw superstar who won the tournament. He says that leaves him with a problem, as it means that we have no contender for the title at Vengeance, which is just 13 days away. He says that he is a forgiving mood tonight, and is going to give the 4 Raw superstars who competed last night (Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy, JBL and Gregory Helms) another chance. He says that we will have a fatal 4 way match, and the winner of the match will face Christian at Vengeance for the title, and will also be a guest on the Peep Show next week, when Raw is 3 hours long.
Eric Bischoff also announces that next week we will also see the two semi finals in the tournament to determine new tag team champions, when Rey Mysterio and CM Punk face MNM, and Christian/Tyson Tomko face D-Generation X, and he then reminds us to tune in to him winning his steel cage match against John Cena. He then calls out Cena to the ring, which gets a huge pop from the crowd. Bischoff tells Cena he enjoyed his match last night, especially the way it ended, and tells Cena that he will get a chance to redeem himself against DX at Vengeance when he and The Undertaker take them on in a rematch.
Cena then cuts a brief promo on Bischoff, saying how he cannot wait for their match next week, and how he hopes that Vince decides to fire him to save Raw. Cena says he is prepared for anything that Eric wants to throw at him this week, but he gets a shock when Eric Bischoff tells him he has the night off. He says it is unfair that Cena competes every week, and he doesn’t, so tonight in the main event it will be Eric Bischoff taking on... JOHN CENA!!!

The first match of the night sees MNM prepare for their tag team match next week by taking on the Highlanders in a short match, which is basically just on the show to give MNM another win, so they keep looking strong ahead of their match next week. MNM dominate the majority of the match, and they score the win when they hit the Snapsnot to Rory. MNM then decide to give Robbie a snapsnot as well, before leaving the ring, and leaving the commentators impressed by them and saying they could be the next tag champions

Rey Mysterio is then interviewed backstage ahead of the fatal 4 way match tonight, but says that he fully expects Kurt Angle to get involved again, as he seems to have some kind of issue with him. He explains that Angle seems to be so keen to face him again, but when the match is announced, he wants out of it at all costs. He calls Angle a gutless coward, and tells him that if he was really a man, he should show everyone by leaving him alone tonight, and then showing it in the ring at Vengeance

Match 2 is another match in the series between Hardcore Holly and Umaga, as Holly appears to be the first man to take it to Umaga after their brawl last week. We get another short match between them, which in the end is won by Umaga after he catches Holly from nowhere with the Samoan Spike and gets the 3 count to the delight of his manager. Umaga is then instructed to take the chair to Holly, but Holly shows his resiliency, and ducks underneath the chair shot, and then takes the chair off Umaga and knocks him out of the ring. Holly gets a big pop as he stands tall with the chair, while Umaga and Estrada retreat, seemingly rattled by the veterans approach

Another commercial break leads us into diva action, as Trish Stratus teams us with her sister Britney to take on Angel Williams and Shelley Martinez, who have Candice Michelle with them at ringside. For once we actually get a match between these divas, who appear to have a war going on between them, and it is the faces who come out on top this week after Candice interfered at hit Britney with the wand, allowing Shelley to take the Samoan Drop to her to get the win. Trish is fuming at not having won the match, but as the faces celebrate, ALEXIS LAREE comes out and tells the girls that she wants a shot at the title, and she will teach them all a lesson

Backstage we see D-X arriving as they look at the schedule for the evening, and they see that nothing major has been booked in 1 of the timeslots for the show this evening (in fact it was a Val Venis vs. Rene Dupree match... and a big won at that). DX cross this out, and then replace it with a DX promo, before walking off laughing, as it looks like they are going to have a long talk tonight

Matt Hardy is then seen preparing for his match in the fatal 4 way in a few moments as Shannon Moore comes up to him and offers his help for the match. He tells Matt that if he needs him, he is happy to be out there alongside him to cheer him on towards the WWE Title. Matt says that he appreciates the offer, but feels as if he needs to prove himself again, after losing in the KOTR final last night. He says that he thought he was good enough to be at this level, but he has to think again after losing to Mr. Kennedy. He says he needs to win this match by himself, and will do so

JBL, Rey Mysterio, Gregory Helms and Matt Hardy then come out for the fatal 4 way, and so does Christian who gets a huge pop as he comes out to do some commentary on the match, along with Tyson Tomko and Maria, who are going to act as co-commentators, leaving JR and the King with not a lot to say. The match is actually a pretty good one for a TV show, with all 4 men doing all they can to get the win and go on to face Christian at Vengeance. Matt Hardy nearly gets the win after a Twist of Fate to JBL. Helms hits the shining wizard to Rey, but he kicks out on 2. JBL almost steals it when he nails the CFH to Hardy, but Helms breaks it up at the last moment. In the end, it looks as if Rey Mysterio is going to win the match as he has taken the other 3 men out of contention. He goes for the 619 to Helms... and he hits it as he cover him... but KURT ANGLE PULLS THE REFEREE OUT OF THE RING AT 2. Rey looks at Angle, and asks him what he is doing, but Angle just walks away, leaving Rey bemused by all of this... as HARDY NAILS HIM WITH THE TWIST OF FATE... BUT HE WALKS STRAIGHT INTO A CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL FROM JBL, who makes the cover and gets the 3 count
JBL will now face Christian in the main event at Vengeance, and he celebrates like he has won the title after getting this title shot now. He takes a microphone, and starts to go on about himself having got the chance to win the title, and saying how he is a wrestling God... as Christian enters the ring and shuts him up with a right hand to his face. Christian then takes the mic and says that that is how a Wrestling God performs... BECAUSE THAT’S HOW HE ROLLS!

As we return from commercial it is announced that Umaga vs. Hardcore Holly in a street fight has been added to the Vengeance card, while next week we will see a random match selector, in which anyone on the Raw roster can be drawn to play anyone else, in any type of match

DX then come out to the ring and basically just talk for 15 minutes about whatever they feel like talking about (A HHH promo of doom is the format for this), as they run down some of the Raw roster and go on about how much they suck, and how they don’t even come close to the talent that the two of them possess. They remind everyone that next week they are involved in a semi final of the tag team tournament, and says that they will very soon be the next tag team champions, especially after their win last night over the tag team of John Cena and the Undertaker, and at Vengeance will go 2 and 0 against them
After having enough of trying to bury the rest of the Raw roster, they go back to self-promotion, and try and sell some of their merchandise to the crowd, who boo them out of the building with this; partly as they are heels, but partly because they are boring the crowd to death with all of this... until THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND THE GONG HITS. When the lights come back on, The Undertaker has appeared in the ring, and this causes DX to leave the ring, not wanting to get involved in a fight with him, especially after they screwed him over in their match last night. DX retreat up the ramp, as Cena appears on the titantron, and tells DX how pathetic they are, scared about someone who isn’t even the Undertaker, as the Undertaker appears from behind Cena. He tells them that they clearly don’t want some, so he isn’t going to offer them any... and decides to finish with a catchphrase a little more to DX’s liking... suck it!

CM Punk then gets a quick match in as he is continued to be built up as he takes on Booker T, which is a quick match and lasts about 5 minutes as Punk dominates a lot of the match and continues to appear strong after his recent singles push. He looks as if he is going to get the win for a lot of the match, but Booker appears to have the match won after the Book-end, but Punk to his right foot onto the bottom rope. Booker gets frustrated at this, and then decides that it would be a good idea to take a chair to Punk, and nails him over the head with it, as he remains pissed off that he couldn’t beat him.

After another commercial, it is time for the main event which is Eric Bischoff against John Cena, who turns out to actually be The Coach dressed as Cena, which gets a huge amount of heat from the fans. Eric dominates Cena, but is clearly not actually connecting with him on any of the shots, as he doesn’t want to hurt Coach, but the match is made with the sole intention of making Cena look stupid, and Eric Bischoff have a win going into their match next week. But then.... ‘My Time Is Now’ hits, and out comes John Cena to the ring to the biggest pop of the night, and he enters it, and nails the fake Cena with the FU, before turning his attention to Eric. He picks him up, and nails him with the FU as well, before putting the fake Cena on top of Eric, and the referee is forced to make the 3 count, giving Cena the win.
The crowd erupt, as Cena stares down at Bischoff, telling him that next week will be the same result, as Vince McMahon appears on the titantron

Vince tells Eric that he could have just finished running his last Raw ever, as his contract is up at the start of next week’s show. He says that he has made up his mind about whether he keeps the job or not, and tells everyone that next week he will reveal his decision, and he guarantees it

Well... I said I'd be carrying on the thread, and that is exactly what I will be doing... just a slight delay before I actually got around to getting around to doing just that!

But I won't be coming back full-time in the sense that is known around here, and there won't be full shows when I do get back to posting shows.

Basically, as this thread is so far behind real-life, and the fact that there have been so many interruptions, delays and problems with this thread, most people, even those long term readers have probably forgotten what had happened and what the current storylines are (and to tell the truth, I had to check back through the thread to check a couple of things!)

So here's the plan... in the next couple of days I will post results of all the ppv's that have happened since the thread began, along with a link to the ppv so that you can read on to find out in more depth about the ppv and the storylines. I will also post a brief review of what is currently happening on Raw and Smackdown to get people up-to-date with the thread.

Then, every few days I will post a month by month update, leading up to the next ppv, and then the results of the ppv, continuing up until Wrestlemania 23.

Presently, the plan is to start posting shows again at that point, but I may carry on with these month by month recaps until I get closer to real-life, maybe stopping at Summerslam or Survivor Series

When I do start booking shows again, the plan is for them to be done in the extended recap format, as it isn't worth the effort to write everything out, and this way the focus will be more on the booking than on the writing (as it should be)

Any comments are welcome, and I'll try and check out the threads of those who comment here, and try and leave comments in your thread, but I can't promise that I will do so, and how in depth the comments will be.

Zing!

Atleast you're back. I was fearing we had lost one of the best for good. Extended recaps still provide more than enough of a show, so I don't see a problem with that. I just wanna see you get back into this, even if it's not full time.

I'll check in as often as I can.

Great to see that your still here, as i feared you had gone since you haven't been around for a while. Don't see any problems with you recapping shows until atleast Mania since you are so far behind the current date, we did about eight months in thread time in over two years lol. Look forward to see what happens in your future recaps, and will try leave a few comments as much as i can

Well you know what will happen in some of the recaps...

Thanks to all those who have left comments so far, and the recaps into the future will begin tomorrow... although this recap isn't exactly the longest you'll ever see, as all that was left until the next ppv was 1 3 hour raw, so it is essentially a recap of that, but in more of a wwe.com style (as in, the most important things are written first, regardless of placement on the show), and then the card for Vengeance so people can leave comments, predictions, or just have a look at what could be happening next.

Default Re: Forever-Delayed and Kane01 Do WWE

I think I recall you mentioning on MSN you wanted to do a big recap, so I'm all for that. I lost interest in what was going on this BTB, so the recap gives me a new starting spot.
