I would post a big review of the whole raw, but I'd pretty much just be repeating what everyone else has said in the past dozen posts. So I'll just give you a 9/10. Great job and I hope to have Raw up by Sunday or Monday seeing as I'm going to a house show this weekend.
I liked the opening segmant with JBL and Batista, it was interesting and it really flowed well. Great opening match, i'd personally wanted to see Christian win but I 'm still a fan of Shelton whoever you went with to win this match would of been a good descision. Once again great match and a really great way to start the show. Big Show vs Rosey was a bit of a dissapointment for me, I knew Show was always going to win but i'm personally a fan of Rosey and I would of like to have seen him pull off an offensive move. Anyway it gets SHow a little over I guess beating such a big star. I loved the Evolution segmant, I believe this group could really go far if they are used right. Some good booking and some great promo's would really do it for me. You caught Randy Orton spot on in this segmant well done. Jericho and Morgan was nothing special, just a filler really although i'm glad Y2J won. The Hassan promo was one hell of a promo you really captured Hassan perfectly, I've never had to write a hassan promo and i'm glad he seems a hard charector to write for after the whole I hate wherever the hell I am thing. Great job and really well done.vYour really using Hassan well and him winning Rhyno was always the right thing to do, Rhyno can get people over so well done. Hope you use the IC invitational to it's full I would like to see a new champion crowned. The tag match was a good match both teams looked good and you really put Evolution over as Heels. I loved the main event really would of been one to watch. I believe Batista retaining was the right descision, it's not that i've got a problem with titles changing on Raw it's just Batista still has alot to bring to the table. Great when Batista kicked out after the Orton intivention, I really thought Batista was done for. Great job. Overall a really good show I'll give it a .......8.5/10
Once again a fantastic JBL promo! Like the excuses, but like everyone else I was a little confused with the whole Orton/JBL/Batista thing. I mean, I knew Batista was Orton's main target, but I thought that there might've been a number one contenders match? 10/10.
Christian on his own? Cool. Hoping he gets a HUGE push now and good to see Christian and Tomko split rather than rival. 9.5/10.
Big Show beating Rosey with ease? Man, that's trying to prove a point, Big Show looking a force to be reckoned with. Nice build up with the Kane/Big Show rivalry. 7.5/10.
Evolution reformed? COOOLLL!!!! Masters, Jindrak, Orton and MATT?! Matt has a gimmick of his own and doesn't fit in with the whole point of Evolution. Apart from that, nice move, hope Matt and Orton's egos end up clashing and Matt goes solo. 9/10.
Jericho/Morgan was good but I'm not entirely sure why it was there. Presume it was just there to put Jericho over, but it still was a good match. 7/10.
Good Hassan promo, nice to see the rivalry continued. 'm seeing Jannety-Hassan on Raw in a few weeks where Hassan and Daivari beat him down, then HBK makes the save and Rockers vs Hassan/Daivari at Vengeance. 9/10.
IC Ivitational! Cool, this will prove Benjamin to be a strong champ while hopefully making him lose it. Hopefully after a few wins he will lose the title, cos from Taboo Tuesday to now is too long. 10/10.
Nothing, nothing at all to do with Hassan? Strange, maybe the tag match is off. Beniot/HBK to stand up to Evolution and rival them. Janetty to rival with Hassan alone. 8/10.
Batista is proved as a strong c hampion and continues his roll. Glad to see Orton/Batista fued continued, hope JBL gets into a big rivalry to keep him in the major league. 10/10.
I can't count, so tot it up for yourself. Good show.
This week on Raw is set to be another huge night for the brand. Both the Intercontinental and World Tag Team Titles will be defended. Last week, General Manager Eric Bischoff announced the debut of an Intercontinental Title Invitational pitting the champion Shelton Benjamin against a mystery opponent and the Dudley Boyz will challenge La Resistance in a rematch for the World Tag Team Titles, this time the match between these two teams will be a Table Match. Check out Raw to see what happens in those title matches.
Also the "Legend Killer" Randy Orton has been trying to get in the head of the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista by trying to cost him that title for two straight nights running at Backlash and last week on Raw. What will Batista have to say about his on-going rivalry with Orton? Randy Orton will already have his hands full on Raw as he takes on Chris Benoit in what is sure to be a great main event, these two had a match at Backlash but there is still a score to be settled, can Chris Benoit break his duck over Randy Orton or will Orton score yet another victory over the Wolverine?
In other action Muhammad Hassan has challenged Marty Jannetty after Jannetty cost him his match at Backlash and Edge will make his Raw return after a one week absence, what will Edge have to say about his Money in the Bank win over Chris Jericho? Check Raw to find out all this and more!
Kev, sorry about not getting your creative ass this week, with the virus and stuff, I have been busy.
As for next week, man is it going to be hot. 2 titles to be defended, yeah that sounds hot. Randy Orton.. what is he going to do to Batista this week? Or will Batista return the favor? Orton vs Benoit rematch? Yeah that sounds hot. Lets go Marty! Also looking forward to hearing from Mr. Money In The Bank. Next week will be on fire. Bank On It.
