Sorry, kind of quick Raw this week after the Enormous effort of SummerSlam. I promise I will be back to my best next week
Raw - 16th August
Rhyno defeated Maven
Jamal w/Rosey defeated Tommy Dreamer w/Hardcore Holly
The show starts with footage from last nights SummerSlam PPV, the Elimination Chamber match is shown with the winner, and new World Heavyweight Champion being Goldberg.
Raw Theme is played around the Arena as pyro explodes around the TitanTron
J.R – Over 17,000 fans in the Air Canada Centre were treated to one hell of a PPV, last night as both Raw and Smackdown rolled into Toronto for SummerSlam.
King – J.R. The show had everything, from Title changes, to returning Superstars, to even a Toronto Screwjob!!
J.R – That’s right King, Vince McMahon did the unthinkable and aligned with the new Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton. Jim Ross alongside Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, thank you folks for inviting us into your homes for Monday Night Raw.
Goldberg’s Theme Plays
Lillian – Please Welcome, the New World Heavyweight Champion…Goldberg
J.R – Folks, Goldberg started in the Ring at the beginning of the match, one by one he tore through five other Raw Superstars and pinned the ‘Texas Rattlesnake’, Stone Cold Steve Austin to become the New World Heavyweight Champion.
King – J.R, after the match, Goldberg looked like Kane when he had his mask on…He was completely red with blood.
Goldberg stands in the middle of the Ring soaking up the attention
Goldberg – 15th August. Toronto Ontario. SummerSlam, saw the Goldberg era…return.
Goldberg – You see, ever since WrestleMania XX I was unemployed. I was sitting around at home and I was watching Raw and I was seeing Chris Benoit dominate every single wrestler that tried to step in his way. So being Bill Goldberg, I decided to do something about that. I gave Vince McMahon a call on his Cell Phone, but I didn’t expect Vince McMahon to give me my job back. You see, Vince McMahon is a brilliant businessman because when Vince McMahon sees an opportunity to make money for this company, he takes it. This is why he signed Bill Goldberg back to the WWE. But when Vince McMahon told me that I was welcome to come back to Raw, I had to make sure one more clause was added to my contract. I wanted to be number 20, in the Battle Royal 2 weeks ago. This is how…
Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Theme Plays
J.R – King, this is going to get interesting.
King – J.R. we should get security into this place, these two men could go to blows anytime.
Austin climbs on each Turnbuckle acknowledging the fans each time. He then climbs back down and stands face to face with Goldberg.
Austin – Do you actually think that these people give a Rat’s Ass about your life story? (What) Now Stone Cold Steve Austin hasn’t been able to sleep since last night, because I’ve been thinking (what), I’ve been thinking about the fact that I should have whipped your ass all over the Air Canada Centre.
Austin – But hell, if I didn’t whip it last night, I’ve got the whole of tonight to do it.
Goldberg – Is that right Austin, what the hell makes you think that I will let you kick my ass all over, Denver, Colorado?
Austin – I’m sure that these people would love to see me whip your ass all over The Pepsi Arena (what). So let’s give this a test…if you want to see Stone Cold Steve Austin whip the living daylights out of Baldy Goldberg over there, give me a HELL YEAH!!
Crowd chant HELL YEAH
Austin – I think that just said it all.
Goldberg – Austin, I have no problem defending my World Heavyweight Title against you, right here in Denver, Colorado.
Crowd Cheer, some people cheering for Goldberg others for Austin.
Eric Bischoff’s Theme Plays
J.R – Here comes the General Manager of Raw, Eric Bischoff.
Eric – Congratulations, Mr. Goldberg. You defeated all the odds to become the New World Heavyweight Championship. However in just 4 weeks time I have another PPV, this time a Raw only PPV. Unforgiven. I don’t want these fans to see a glimpse of my Main Event…Now you see, I’ve seen you Goldberg, Spear Austin, and I’ve seen you Austin trash talk your way to the top but we can only settle this with a Match. So at Unforgiven we will see Goldberg defend the World Heavyweight Championship against…Stone Cold Steve Austin. But this will be no ordinary Match; this will be a 2 out of 3 falls Match.
Eric – Hold on, I haven’t finished! Over the next 3 weeks, one of you will be able to pick one stipulation for each fall. This will alternate each week, so say for example, you Steve Austin choose the first stipulation, Goldberg can choose the second stipulation, but Austin can then choose the third as well. Now I have been thinking how to do this fairly and I have come up with a plan. Tonight we will see, Bill Goldberg against Stone Cold Steve Austin
Crowd go into Rapturous Chants
Eric – Sorry, I didn’t make myself clear enough. Bill Goldberg will team up with a tag partner of his choice against Stone Cold and a tag partner of his choice, then next week, Live on Eric Bischoff’s Monday Night Raw, the winner will make the first stipulation. Good Luck
Eric Bischoff leaves the Ring as we go to a Commercial Break
Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy are in the Locker Room
Matt – Jeff, bro, look I’m really happy that you returned, because Scott Steiner is really getting to big for himself. He thought that he would end my career at SummerSlam, well look who is still on the Raw Roster…Matt Hardy.
Jeff – Matt, I was worried about you. I saw the things that Steiner has done not only to you but also to other Raw Superstars. I needed to show him that you just don’t mess with the Hardy Boyz…
Kane enters the Locker Room
Kane – Hey look who it is, if it’s not Jeff Hardy. Well Jeff Hardy, I’ve got something to tell you. By request of Eric Bischoff, the Hardy Boyz in their first match since ‘re-uniting’ will face Scott Steiner and Me…Ha ha ha ha ha
J.R – Eric Bischoff has made Kane and Scott Steiner v The Hardy Boyz for later on tonight.
The cameras turn back to the Ring
Lillian – The following match up is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Forrest Lake, Minnesota. Molly Holly.
Molly Holly makes her way to the Ring
Lillian – Introducing her challenger, from Korea. Gail Kim.]
Gail Kim makes her way to the Ring.
Lillian – Making her way to the Ring. From San Bernardino, California. Victoria
Victoria makes her way to the Ring
J.R – King, we have just learnt that this match will determine the Number One Contender for Trish Stratus’ Women’s Title.
King –The Title that Trish won after defeating Jazz in a house show in Baltimore only a couple of weeks ago. She successfully defended it against Gail Kim on Heat last night, so you could say that this is another bite of the cherry for Gail Kim.
Number One Contenders match for the Women’s Championship
Molly Holly vs. Gail Kim vs. Victoria
Finish - Molly Holly gets the Molly Go Round on Victoria. The Referee makes the Three Count as Gail Kim is just about to enter the Ring.
Here is your winner – Molly Holly
Trish comes out onto the TitanTron and sarcastically claps the winner Molly Holly.
J.R – King, I cannot wait for what is coming up next, because in a few moments time we are going to have Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel, with the special guests being none other than Vince McMahon and Randy Orton
King – J.R, we will finally be able to find out why whatever happened, happened!
Promos announcing Kevin Nash’s return to Raw Next Week!!
J.R. Whilst the Ring is being set up, let’s take you back to what went down last night at SummerSlam.
King– The Special Guest Referee for the Intercontinental Title match was Vince McMahon, Edge clearly had the match won, but as you can see Vince McMahon stopped the count and screwed Edge out of the Intercontinental Title.
Chris Jericho’s Theme Plays
J.R – Well anyway King, here was another participant in Last Nights historic Elimination Chamber match, Chris Jericho. Jericho eliminated by The Game Triple H.
Jericho – Finally, Chris Jericho has come back…to Colorado. The sexy beast Chris Jericho had a run in with ‘The Great One’ The Rock last night, Rocky you think that you have the best segment in the WWE with your pathetic ‘If Ya Smell’??? Well I’ve got news for you, you Jackass. You have a new show and you think your some sort of hotshot? You can never beat me. Anyway we all know that The Highlight Of The Night got screwed for the World Heavyweight Title by some man who spits water into the crowd, and you people have to see two men whose heads are as bald as two eggs, fighting for the World Heavyweight Title at Unforgiven, please now that’s just putting Y2J down, but we’re not here for my sexy talk. We are here for some answers and that’s what we’re going to get. Now my Guests for tonight insisted that they had a rivalry going on, these two men looked as if they wanted to beat the living daylights out of each other. But these two were bluffing. I couldn’t believe it and I don’t think that anyone else could as well. So here are my guests this evening please welcome, Mr. McMahon and the new Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton
Mr McMahon’s Theme Plays. Both Orton and McMahon approach the Ring.
Vince – Thank you very much Chris and thank you very much to Edge, why I hear you say, well Edge, Thank you so much for making my job last night oh so much easier
Crowd Boo as McMahon and Orton laugh
Jericho – My first question to you Vince is simple, why?
Vince – Why what Jericho? Why did I choose to side with a rising Superstar of the Raw roster? I had kept my eye on Randy Orton for a long time, way before SummerSlam. It was Vengeance that I knew that Randy Orton would be the right man to take Raw to a new level. At Vengeance though, the unthinkable happened. Randy Orton lost the Intercontinental Title to…Edge. Now I thought that if I want this man to become the finest on Raw, I would need gold around that man’s waist. So it was then, on the night after Raw I gave Randy Orton a telephone call. We then worked everything out. We knew that we would get that opportunity at SummerSlam to earn some gold. The Randy Orton/Vince McMahon era was born.
Jericho – Thank you Vince for taking us through your epic adventure…
Mr McMahon has a vile look on his face
Jericho – So Randy, what was your role in this Screwjob.
Orton – Jericho, I wouldn’t call it a screwjob. I would call it…Edge being the wrong Champion at the wrong time. He shouldn’t take it personally; he was just in the wrong place at the wrong possible moment. But Edge seeing as Vince did make this The Final Encounter between us, I won’t be defended my Title against you and there will be no rematch…
Eric Bischoff’s Theme Plays
Eric – Good Evening Mr. McMahon, nice to see you making appearances on Eric Bischoff’s Raw. Now, Mr. McMahon, you have the power to make matches, but so do I. I have one person backstage who is irate at you. He is absolutely mad at you, hell I don’t even blame him, that man is called Edge.
Eric – Now Edge has personally come up to me looking for a match against you, but even I don’t have that power…
Vince – That’s right, no you don’t!!!
Eric – But I’ve given Edge another match and he accepted without hesitation. I have given Edge the opportunity for Edge to be in a Handicap Match. Because tonight’s Main Event will see Edge go up in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match against both Randy Orton, and Mr McMahon.
J.R – Oh My God, It will be Edge vs. Mr. McMahon and Randy Orton.
Scott Steiner’s Theme Plays
Lillian – The following Match up is a Tag Team match and is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the Ring, from Bay City, Michigan weighing in at 275lbs, he is the WWE Hardcore Champion, Scott Steiner.
Kane’s Theme Plays
Lillian – And his tag team partner, weighing in at 326lbs, Kane.
J.R – What a gruesome pair these two are.
King – I think that Kane is looking to avenge his defeat and that Scott Steiner, well, he’s looking for revenge big time!
Team Extreme Theme Plays
Lillian – And making their way to the Ring, their opponents. From Cameron, North Carolina at a combined weight of 445lbs, Matt and Jeff, The Hardy Boyz.
J.R – Team Extreme is back and didn’t Scott Steiner know it last night.
Tag Team Match
Scott Steiner & Kane vs. The Hardy Boyz
Finish - Scott Steiner brings a Steel Chair into the Ring and hits Matt Hardy with it resulting in a blatant DQ
Here are your winners via DQ – The Hardy Boyz
Scott Steiner launches a vicious attack on the Hardy Boyz, hitting them continuously with the Hardcore Title. He signals for Kane to get a Table from under the Ring. He brings it in. He is about to set it up until suddenly.
SHAWN MICHAELS THEME PLAYS
J.R – What? Shawn Michaels is back and he’s going after Scott Steiner and Kane!
The crowd are completely stunned at the return of the Heart Break Kid. HBK delivers the Sweet Chin Music to both Steiner and Kane. He then sets up the table for Jeff Hardy to Swanton Bomb Scott Steiner through again.
Eric Bischoff appears on the TitanTron
Eric – So Shawn Michaels has made his return back to Raw.
Eric – Jeff Hardy, seeing as you are so interested in Tables, I’m going to give you a match next week, because live next week on Raw we will have ourselves a 6 Man Elimination Tables Match, it will be The Hardy Boyz, teaming up with The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels, to face the team of Kane, Scott Steiner and a partner of their choosing.
J.R – King, next week we’ve got ourselves a Tables Match.
King – I can’t wait, the In-Ring return of HBK, Shawn Michaels, this is going to be great!

J.R – Eric Bischoff has already made our Main Event for Unforgiven because it will be Goldberg defending the World Heavyweight Title against Stone Cold Steve Austin.
King – But this will be no ordinary match J.R. This match will be 2-out-of-3 falls.
The World’s Greatest Tag Team Theme Plays
Haas – We beat La Résistance last night to regain what we came to Raw for, to win the Tag Titles. Well Shelton and myself are sick and tired of La Résistance so starting next week on Raw we are going to have an open Tag Team Tournament, the winners of which will face us at Unforgiven.
SummerSlam Rebound involving The Undertaker winning the WWE Championship

The lead-up to Unforgiven is going along awesome.
*I didn't expect Christian to make the save for Edge...this rivalry between, E & C And McMahon/Orton is shaping up brillantly!
*Unforgiven- Austin Vs. Goldberg, anything can happen. I have no idea who will win. Great Match-Up for Unforgiven. I like the idea of everyweek Austin/Goldberg pick a match type.
I loved the line by Eric, "Tonight we will see, Bill Goldberg against Stone Cold Steve Austin
......Sorry, I didn’t make myself clear enough. Bill Goldberg will team up with a tag partner of his choice against Stone Cold and a tag partner of his choice, "
Thanks to all, for the great comments! A Raw preview will be up after Smackdown is up which I'm guessing should be Thursday, I'll give you more developments on when Smackdown is up, as and when they come...
Footage of the WWE Title match at SummerSlam is shown.
The Smackdown music starts and the pyro hits to start the show.
Cole – Good evening and welcome to Smackdown! I’m Michael Cole and alongside me is Tazz. We’re coming straight at you with the first Smackdown in North Dakoda after the spectacle which was SummerSlam.
Tazz – And what a spectacle it was Cole. We saw Brock Lesnar battle his heart out to win the WWE Title, landing three F5s on the Undertaker. But he still wasn’t able to beat him!
Cole – Not only that Tazz, but we also saw JBL become the number one contender for the United States Championship, fending off the attacks from both Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle. We also saw Chavo Guerrero retain his title with the only way he seems to know how, cheating.
Tazz – But my highlight of the night had to be the Rock’s wholehearted battle for his career against Booker T. The Rock really threw everything into that match. Hopefully the Rock will decide to take a long break from the films and concentrate on his wrestling career.
Cole – Well it’s time to look forward to tonight’s show. Scheduled for tonight will be a tag team match for the titles. Too Cool will go against the Full Blooded Italians.
*The Undertaker’s music starts* Paul Heyman leads the Undertaker out to the ring
Cole – Here comes the WWE Champion. What do they want now?
Heyman – All bow down, as you are now in the presence of the greatest WWE Champion of all time!
Crowd boos Heyman
Heyman – The Undertaker proved that he is the greatest on Sunday by withstanding 3 F5s from Brock Lesnar, and almost chokeslaming him through the steel of the Elimination Chamber. But the Undertaker hasn’t come out here to gloat. No, the Undertaker has come out here to further prove he is the greatest, by sending out an open invitation challenge for his title. Tonight the Undertaker will wait in the centre of this ring for any wrestler in the back to come out and challenge him for his title. So if you think you can beat the Undertaker, show your face tonight in the ring.
Heyman and the Undertaker leave the ring.
Cole – Wow, an open invitational challenge for the WWE title. Who’d you think’s going to accept the challenge Tazz?
Tazz – I don’t know Cole. I’m not sure if anyone will want to challenge the Undertaker for his title after seeing his match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
Cole – Well we have to take a quick break here on Smackdown. When we come back we’ll go straight into our first match.
Cole – We’re back on Smackdown and it’s time for our first match. After Chavo Classic helped his son retain the title at SummerSlam by nailing A.J Styles on the head with the title, Styles wants some revenge against him.
*Chavo Classic’s music starts* Chavo Classic comes out accompanied by Chavo Jnr.
*A.J Styles’ music starts* Styles comes out to loud cheers. He runs to the ring to get the action started straight away.
A.J Styles vs Chavo Classic w/Chavo Guerrero Jnr
Styles and CC begin the match in a lock-up. Styles gets the upper hand and whips CC into the ropes. CC rebounds straight into a crossbody. Styles runs to and rebounds off the ropes and lands an elbow drop on CC. Styles lifts CC to his feet and then sends him back down to the mat with a scoop slam. Styles runs to the ropes again and goes to rebound off them but Chavo Jnr grabs his leg, momentarily distracting Styles. Styles turns around and receives shots to the faces from CC, followed by a kick to the midsection and backbreaker. CC goes for the pin. 1...2...Styles kicks out.
CC manages to dominate most of the match.
CC sends Styles out of the ring and then distracts the ref with some Mexican hat dancing while Chavo Jnr works away at Styles, and then rolls him back in. CC goes for the pin. 1...2... Styles kicks out. CC goes to pick up Styles but receives a shot to the midsection, followed by a neckbreaker. Styles then goes to the top rope and goes for the Shooting Styles Press. But Chavo Jnr grabs his leg, but Styles kicks him to the floor. Styles lands the Shooting Styles Press on CC and goes for the pin. 1...2...3. Styles wins.
Cole – It looks like the Chavitos cheating ways against Styles have failed this time.
Tazz – CC battled wholeheartedly in this match for his old age. I think he should have won this match.
Camera switches backstage to where Josh Matthews is ready to interview JBL.
Matthews – Good evening Mr Layfield, thanks for agreeing to do this interview. Now when we interviewed you at SummerSlam you promised to leave SummerSlam as the number one contender for the United States title. You managed to do that. So now do you think you will be able to beat the current United States champion John Cena?
JBL – Of course I will! I managed to stop that Eddie Guerrero from getting his Mexican hands on the number one contender spot for the United States title, now all I have to do whoop the ass of the current one and the fans will finally see what they've been dying to see, a true American hold the United States title. And that American is none other than John...
The camera moves to show John Cena. The crowd cheer.
Cena – CENA!!!!!
The crowd cheer.
JBL – You're a cocky son of a gun, ain't you? You think it's funny interrupting my interview? I outta teach you lesson. I know, here comes Shane...
Shane McMahon comes into the scene. The crowd cheer.
JBL – Shane, I need to ask you something....
Shane – This is not a good time Bradshaw, you've really mad me angry. Eddie Guerrero just called me and asked for a break. He said the comments you have made towards him have really messed with his head and has asked for a break for him to clear his head. We've lost one our best and most popular wrestlers thanks to you.
JBL – Forget about that Eddie Guerrero, you should be concentrating on the future United States champion, John Bradshaw Layfield. I've decided to kill two birds with one stone, but I need your approval to do it. I want to have my United States Title tonight! I need to teach this boy some respect and the People need to see a true American champion.
Shane – Ok, JBL, I'll give you a match tonight, but it won't be for the U.S Title. You will face John Cena in a non-title match. I don't feel you deserve the number one contender spot right now. In fact, if you don't win tonight, I'll take you out of the number one contender spot.
Crowd cheer. Shane leaves.
Cena – Don't worry JBL, I'll take it easy on you tonight. A-HA!!
Cole – You're back with Michael Cole and Tazz and I guess were gonna see John Cena go against John Bradshaw Layfield tonight. But unfortunately for JBL, it will not be for the United States title. And if he loses, he's no longer the number one contender.
Tazz – Well even more unfortunate for the fans, Eddie Guerrero will be out for a while to cool off from wrestling. How long do you think it's gonna take for him to get his head together Cole?
Cole – I'm not sure Tazz, I just know this is rather unusual, especially for Eddie Guerrero.
Tazz – Well Eddie's a sensitive guy Cole. He's taken one to many Mexican cracks from JBL. But in wrestling, if you have issues, you settle them in the ring.
Cole – Well it's time for our next match, Too Cool will be defending their tag titles against the FBI.
*The FBI's music starts* The FBI come out to boos
*Too Cool's music starts* Too Cool come out to loud cheers
Tazz – Hey, where's Rikishi? Isn't he the other tag champ, not Grandmaster Sexay?
Ring announcer – Would Too Cool kindly make their way to the ring.
Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay tell the ring announcer that they are Too Cool.
Ring announcer – Would Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi kindly make their way to the ring.
*Too Cool's music starts* Rikishi comes out to loud cheers. He enters the ring and Grandmaster looks angrily at him then leaves the ring and heads backstage.
Scotty and Stamboli start the match. Both wrestlers start off in a lock up and Stamboli gets the upper hand with a kick to the midsection. Stamboli then holds Scotty and kicks him some knee strikes to the stomach, and then whips him into the ropes and lands a clothesline on him. He then goes to the legs of Scotty, lifts them and stomps on his groin. Stamboli lifts Scotty to his feet and then whips him into his corner and lands some shots to the face and then tags in Palumbo. Palumbo grapples Scotty and then lands a belly-to-belly suplex sending him into the centre of the ring. Palumbo goes for the pin. 1...2... Scotty kicks out. Palumbo goes to pick up Scotty, but receives a kick to the midsection, followed by a neckbreaker. Scotty lifts Palumbo to his feet and whips him into his corner and tags in Rikisihi. Rikishi whips Palumbo into the ropes and hits a back kick to the face of Palumbo. He goes for the pin. 1...2... Palumbo kicks out.
The match is fought evenly.
Palumbo lifts Scotty to his feet and whips him into his corner. He then follows it up with a clothesline. Palumbo then grabs Scotty, kicks him in the midsection and drives his shoulder into the ring post. Palumbo then tag in Stamboli. Stamboli then grabs Scotty and lands a scoop slam. Stamboli then goes to the top rope and attempts his signature leg drop. But Scotty rolls out of the way just in time. Scotty slowly crawls to his corner and manages to tag in Rikishi. Rikishi goes after Stamboli and lands a clothesline. Palumbo comes into the ring but receives a back kick to the face and is rolled out of the ring. Rikishi then attempts to pick Stamboli but receives a shot to the midsection. Stamboli then attempts to whip Rikishi into a turnbuckle, but Rikishi reverses it and whips Stamboli into it and follows it up by jumping into him with his backside. Stamboli falls and sits in the turnbuckle and Rikishi gives him the Stinkface. Rikishi then drags him away from the corner, climbs the turnbuckle and lands a BANZAI drop on Stamboli. He goes for the pin. 1...2...3 Too Cool win.
Cole – Too Cool have retained the titles but what do you think about the situation between Sexay and Rikishi?
Tazz – This situation is bound to end ugly. Sexay was supposed to face the Dudleyz for the title, but was injured. So the third member Rikishi took his place. Now Sexay feels it should be his title. He must not be happy about this.
Camera goes backstage to Kurt Angle's locker room, and shows Angle watching the Olympics and shining his medals. Ric Flair enters his room.
Flair – What the...? Ooops, wrong locker room.
Angle – You're getting old Flair. Your memory was the first thing to go, followed by your wrestling ability.
Flair – Woah, that was harsh Angle. But I respect you, so I'll let that slide. Hey, I caught your match at SummerSlam, pretty impressive. Then an idea came into my head. If I can write a bestselling book, I could at least make a star match. So I thought, what if I could get Kurt Angle, the young veteran of the WWE, to face Batista, a young, up-and-coming star in the WWE? I would have picked myself, but I thought I should be easy on you.
Angle – Be easy on me? Be easy on me? I wrestled in the Olympics with a freaking broken neck, and I still won a gold medal. You don't need to be easy on me, you need me to be easy on you. You know you're too old to keep up with me so you don't want to wrestle me. It's ok, I wouldn't want to wrestle me if I were in your condition either.
Flair – Hey Angle, do you know who you're talking to? I'm the dirtiest player in the game! I'm the 18 time WCW Champion!
Angle – And just like WCW, you're washed up.
Angle and Flair go face to face.
Flair – I'll see you in the ring, tonight! You better be ready, you're go up the against the styling and profiling, dirtiest player in the game!!! WOOOOO!!!
Flair leaves the room.
Cole – Wow, Flair and Angle, tonight! Who do you thinks gonna win that match Tazz?
Tazz – No doubt Flair's gonna have Batista in his corner to aid him in this match, but I think Angle can still pull one over on Flair.
Cole – Well it's time for our third match, John Cena against John Bradshaw Layfield.
*JBL's music starts* JBL comes out to boos
*John Cena's music starts* Cena comes out to loud cheers
John Cena vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield
JBL starts the match with the upper hand, landing an early clothesline on Cena. JBL then stomps away at the head of Cena. He lifts him to his feet and whips him into the ropes. He attempts a clothesline but Cena ducks. He rebounds again and JBL gets a spear on him followed by a few punches to the head. JBL then goes for a headlock on Cena, but Cena gets to his feet and pushes JBL off. JBL rebounds on the ropes and runs straight into a clothesline from Cena.
The match is evenly fought.
JBL lifts Cena to his feet and lands a sidewalk slam. He goes for the pin. 1...2... Cena kicks out. JBL lands some elbow drops on Cena. He then lifts him to his feet and lands a fall away slam. He then signals for the Clothesline Form Hell. JBL lifts Cena to his feet and whips him into the ropes. Cena rebounds and ducks the Clothesline From Hell. Cena rebounds again and lands a dropkick on JBL. JBL gets to his feet and receives a suplex from Cena. Cena then taunts, signalling he aims to finish the match with a F-U. He lifts JBL to his feet and then to his shoulders, but JBL slides off and then lifts Cena into position for a powerbomb. He hits Cena with a powerbomb and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3 JBL wins.
Tazz – JBL's come out on top in this match and is still the number one contender for the U.S Title. But I bet he wishes this was a United States Title match.
Cole – Well we have to go to a commercial break, but when we come back, be ready because it'll be Kurt Angle going up against Ric Flair. Trust me, this is a match you definetely want to see.
RAW REBOUND of the 2 on 1 Handicap between McMahon/Orton and Edge and Christian defecting to RAW to make the save for his brother Edge.
*Ric Flair's music starts* Flair comes out, accompanied by Batista
*Kurt Angle's music starts* Angle comes out
Kurt Angle vs. Ric Flair w/Batista

Cole – Who do you think gonna come out?

Now don't worry, I've been talking to the Undertaker and he feels that some people in the back may be intimidated by him. I don't believe but who am I to argue with him? So he has decided to restrain himself and not use his powers in the ring. I hope that will encourage you wrestlers to come out here and attempt to get the title. Well it's time for the lucky wrestler to come out. Let's see who it is.
Cole – I wonder who it's going to be....
A couple of minutes pass and no one comes out.

Cole – Why don't you try Tazz? You've never held the WWE Title.
Tazz – And it's going to stay like that as long as the Undertaker still has the title.
Heyman – This could be your lucky day! You wrestlers should be jumping at the chance to come out here and challenge for the WWE Title. Especially you wrestlers that have never help it before. Come on. Don't tell me none of you wrestlers are man enough to face the great one?

Heyman – No, I want another wrestler out here!!! Tazz, you're a good wrestler, you can wrestle the Undertaker.
Tazz shakes his head and waves his hand in disagreement.
