A few years ago these two men were being compared to by both WWE and wCw fans alike. These two men you could say were at the foundation of their respective companies. Stone Cold was at the centre of the ‘Attitude Era’ seeing him battle the likes of The Rock, Triple H and even the Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon. But on the other side of the ratings war was a man named Bill Goldberg. Numerous time wCw Champion and the cornerstone of World Championship Wrestling. Stone Cold has done it all in the WWE, but he still has one goal to accomplish and that is the World Heavyweight Championship but one man stands in his way, and that man…is Goldberg. These two have had their feud brewing ever since WrestleMania, when the Rattlesnake ‘Stunnered’ Goldberg, but upon his return to the WWE, Goldberg not only won an opportunity for a Title shot, but won that Title at SummerSlam. Now Goldberg has a tough task to hold onto the Title. Austin even leaving Goldberg lying knocked out as he stunnered Goldberg once again last week on Raw. Both men will battle out the best of three falls. The first fall being a Chain Match, the second a Last Man Standing match, and the third if it comes to it will be Hell In A Cell. Who will prevail? Who will walk out of Portland the champion? Will it be Goldberg, or will it be Stone Cold Steve Austin?
A feud that has brewed ever since Vengeance and will simmer down to this contest tonight. Vince McMahon, the most senior figure in the WWE was put in charge of an Intercontinental Title contest between the then champion Edge, and the challenger Randy Orton. It was then, that the unthinkable happened. Mr McMahon, the Special Guest Referee screwed Edge, and aligned with ‘The Legend Killer’ and new Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton. The match that had previously occurred at SummerSlam was billed to be ‘The Final Encounter’ between the two but sure enough Edge had a plan. He drafted in his brother Christian from Smackdown! He was eligible for the job, and was given a Title shot by General Manager Eric Bischoff only if he could defeat the Legend Killer, one on one. He did so, and thus the match was made, who will be the stronger man, who will have the stronger mentor, but most importantly who will have the belt after Unforgiven closes it’s doors…?
Chris Benoit vs. Triple H
A match that will determine not only the better wrestler, but also the better man. Triple H has been jealous, jealous that ever since WrestleMania the World Title has been out of his grasp. And why? Well partly due to Chris Benoit. Benoit has beaten ‘The Game’ on numerous occasions, namely WrestleMania, Backlash and Vengeance. This is three-nil to Benoit. Triple H is furious with this and so demanded that Eric Bischoff made this match, which he did without hesitation. Triple H has showed his coward ness by beating on Benoit from behind; the sign of betrayal, of backstabbing but Triple H is certainly no friend of Chris Benoit! But one thing is for sure that no matter what the outcome of this match is, this feud is far from over…
Not one for the weak at heart! Two men, two monsters will go toe to toe and collide on the same destruction path at Unforgiven. These two men haven’t seen eye to eye for a very long time, and with the added incentive of the Hardcore Title, one must think, is there anything that these two huge Stars will not do to each other? Nash has jacknifed Steiner not once, but twice through separate tables, but remember that Scott Steiner is undefeated at PPV’s as Hardcore Champion. This time though it will be one on one, it will be brutal, and it will be for the Hardcore Championship!
For weeks now, The World’s Greatest Tag Team has scouted their opposition, and at last two teams will go head to head on Heat. It will be William Regal & Eugene vs. The New Age Outlaws, the winners of which go on to face the Champions on the PPV itself. Will an added obstruction of Theordore R. Long cause problems for the winning team, or will The World’s Greatest Tag Team count their ‘Holla, Holla, Holla’s’ all the way to the bank? Only Unforgiven will tell…
Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam
Two Men who completely detest each other will finally be able to vent their anger out on each other as they go head to head at Unforgiven. Jericho claiming he is the better Wrestler, as is Rob Van Dam, but will the Technical Strength of Chris Jericho overcome the Unorthodox Agility of RVD? Van Dam had the last laugh on Raw, but who will have the last laugh come Sunday, at Unforgiven?
Shawn Michaels vs. Kane
A match that has been escalating ever since Kane put the Heart Break Kid out of action for over two months, well finally these two icons collide at Unforgiven. Kane will be sure to take no prisoners when HBK comes charging at him, or will HBK have something up his sleeve…a victory perhaps? Kane will not look to be defeated again at the hands of Shawn Michaels, as anything that goes against Kane, does not usually sit well with the Big Red Monster…!
A match made as Raw went off the air, it will be Trish Stratus the Former Champion going up against the New Champion, Molly Holly. Most of us were surprised if not shocked at the appearance of Diamond Dallas Page, and the role he played in securing the victory for Molly. Will DDP show up again on Sunday? Will he take Molly’s side? Or does Trish have another plan, to take back what should truly be hers, the Women’s Championship?
All this and a whole lot more, Sunday at Unforgiven….
Predictions can now be made....
Major Thanks to Djibril for all the banners, cheers Mate!

Yeah it's looking great, can;t wait for the 3 Stages of Hell........ it will be hell lol....
Well the whole PPV is looking great actually. The RVD and Jericho I'm looking for inparticular since I'm a fan of RVD, hopefully he can pull out a win ofe Jericho.
Steiner and Nash should be brutal, seeing as it was Steiner that ended Nash's WCW career in a No DQ match, I see Steiner comming out on top again, although it might be a different story without Madajah this time.
I see an upset happening and Regal and Eugene are going to go onto the finals and win the gold, I just got a feeling.
Triple H and Beniot I can't pick a winner, it'll be a classic.
HBK and Kane I can't pick either, it'll be a showdown aswell.

I see the NAO picking up the victory here and advancing to the match at Unforgiven and hopefully beating WGTT for the victory and once again becoming Tag Team Champions
I see Austin picking up the victory here. 1st Match Chain Match = Steve Austin 2nd match Last Man Standing = Goldberg 3rd match Hell in a Cell = Steve Austin
I see Randy Orton picking up the victory with interference by Mr. McMahon and Edge but Mr. McMahon getting the4 better out of the intereference and Randy Orton getting the pinfall
Chris Benoit vs. Triple H
I see Benoit picking up the victory here with a clean win. Hopefully there will be no intereference from Evolution
I see the New Age Outlaws pulling out the upset and picking up the pinfall here cleanly because Ohh you didn't know ..... Then your ass better call somebody!!!!
Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam
I see Chris Jericho picking up the win with Van Dam in the Wall of Jericho in the middle of the ring with no where to go but to tap out
Shawn Michaels vs. Kane
I see Shawn Michaels getting this pinfall after a spectular match.
