Ugh, this came up last time, I would say read the last thread to find out what we decided but I don't even remember when it was discussed.

Ummm...I think we decided that you couldn't, unless your gif breaks the rules or something, I'm not sure. I don't really care either way. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

Honestly, I think you can only edit:

1: Once. After that, you're stuck with what you have.
2: Only before all entrants come in.

Well we need a rule set in place so we don't have exceptions or what not. I don't personal have a preference either way but it's kinda cheap to look at other people's GIFs then decide that you are going to do something else. If we're not allowing editing what happens to those that exceed the size limit or something? Something to think about for sure. But yeah, what's everyone's thoughts on this?

I remember Jason suggested that everyone wait till the last couple days to post their GIF to minimize guys comparing or getting a feel for the competition or what not. That's probably the best thing to do but you have to not forgot to post it.

Why dont people just preview their gifs before posting them?
I think maybe for week 1 only we let people edit...then after that we make the rule that once a gif is posted its there for good, any editing means the person is out of the comp...

Yeah, the rules should be..

1. You can only edit your gif if it exceeds the limit or breaks the rule in some way.
2. When editing the gif, you cannot make a new one. You must post the same gif with the slight changes you have made to it.
3. When editing you cannot add any more footage/clips to the gif.

Before round 2 goes up on Monday I want to have the rules sorted out and finalized so yeah, keep posting your thoughts.

Oh, and we still need 4 more GIFs for round 1, I'll be sending out PMs in the morning if need be.
