Why is it ok for black people to call everyone the N word but when a white person does it everyone screams racist? Everyone jumps on her but says nothing about the racist thug rappers. I would not have fired her unless racist rap lyrics are banned. And no those rappers never lived in the hood or lived through anything. 99 percent of them get rich rapping about things they never do.

True.
When they asked her if she ever used the n-word and she said "Of course!" I was cracking up. When people are just that out of touch, I find it slightly amusing. It's even funnier that she got dropped.

And why do you want to say the word?

Besides white people still use the word all the time anyway. They just make sure that no one black is around.

I never said I wanted to say it, I just think there is a double standard. Black celebs never get called out for it when they say it on tv in front of children no less. I think when she apologized she should have stated black celebs that use it on tv and asked them to apologize. That's what I would have done.

So then why do you care? How about just not saying offensive slurs? And if you say it, don't act surprised when there are consequences.

Yeah that would have been extremely stupid. Then again most of your suggestions seem like something that a naive 12 year old would have come up with.

And you know damn well why white people can't say the word. Don't even try to be naive about it.

That's not ok either, it's just that when a white person or "non-black person" uses it they use it in a hateful manner that is meant to dehumanize a race of people.

This is an original thought that has not be discussed around 5,000,000 times already

I never said I didn't know. You don't get the point so I will spell it out for you. It's not ok for anyone to say it. But black people that use it never get called racist when the people that use it clearly are. Paula Dean was not right in using it, but to make things fair all races need to be called out.

btw, the N word ending in ger is racist, but ending in gga is not racist.

It's safe to say that we have more important issues in this country to worry about ahead of why white people aren't allowed to use a word (when they already know the answer).
