Re: What Does Everyone Do For A Living?

Just moved to Melbourne and have been told that none of the local high schools, both private and public, can offer me the same courses I had in Sydney therefore I will have to repeat next year because I can't get the required 6 or 8 units I need. So I've left school for the time being and I'm starting a Cert IV in Advertising (which is the field I want to be in). My dad teaches rail infrastructure and OH&S so when I turn 18 I'll start working in rail for a bit while doing my Cert IV then return to school next year or maybe do it through tafe next semester.

Working as an exercise physiologist in a shitty corporate health gig. Looking for better work but for now i'll keep getting bored telling people in offices shit that they don't listen to and doing tests that they don't give a shit about.

I'm majoring in Organizational Communication in college. I think you need to coordinate with one of the managers, set up a company meeting, and launch a program. Or more crucially, you lack creativity in your presentation. PM me if you want to learn more

Education in Australia is is world-class and known for its diverse community. But if you're pushing to work for an Ad agency, good luck. It's extremely competitive, sometimes pushes you to work for more than 18 hours straight, and has declining job prospects as of late. Most of my Ad major colleagues went to marketing, PR, broadcasting, and even banking jobs. On the bright side, we have a lot of hot babes in the industry.
