Of course. Me and CP are great friends on this site, for example.

Re: Friendship over the internet

I guess it's possible, I've never had a long time close friend on here or solely on the internet.

Re: Friendship over the internet

i have several CLOSE friends that I've met on the internet. Some of whom I've been with for several years and never met. Most of them I've met through playing games online. They're actually some of the closest friends I've ever made.

Re: Friendship over the internet

For shy people like me internet is a great way to meetup new people although i am not a very social person offline or online. But the day I'll look for a girlfriend I'll probably look online.Offline is virtually impossible for me, shyness is the least of problems when you have absolutely zero social skills.Online at least you can prepare what to say, you can ask for advice on sites specially geared towards improving social skills or dating advice.

Re: Friendship over the internet

Made some good friends through the internet, especially on here. I've met hardly any of them IRL.
