The issue is why they went along with it in the first place. Why did they accept that ,at the age of 5 or whatever, Coy was capable of deciding he was not a boy? And why was the decision then taken to ignore the physical logic behind single-sex bathrooms?
It's not that I couldn't see the forest for the trees.
I simply chose to see the trees for what they were
and not for what they were unknowingly a part of.
