Don't you have to get a sex change to be a transgender? You can't just decide right? This is stupid. How the hell is a kid going to be transgender in 1st grade? His parents should've waited until he was older to help him make that decision, fuck his parents! And fuck the LGBT group that filed the complaint. The kid is still a guy until he gets the change. If he's got a dick, then he better stick it in the boys' restroom or find a bush to sit in.

Hopefully this story will initiate change. Instead of identifying bathrooms by gender, we should identify them by sexual organ. No more Men's Room or Lady's Room. It will be the Penis Room and Vagina Room.

its way too young in my opinion. but this isnt the first case, i was just watching this the other day

the parents allowed their child to dress up as a girl from a very young age and even attend school as a girl.

I'm going to walk into the women's bathroom at work tomorrow. If they kick up a stink, I'll just say I'm a woman.

This 'first-grader' stuff is alien to my Britfag comprehension. Isn't that basically like 7 years old or something? Kids don't know what the fuck they want to be at that age. If I were one of those parents whose daughter had to use a bathroom being used by a boy, I'd be rioting about it.

In all fairness you probably wouldn't be happy if your son was in the same bathroom as the boy that identified himself as a girl.

So I've been thinking about this and have decided to state my feelings in a way that shouldn't offend anyone.

I'm willing to accept the idea that gender is a choice. However your sex isn't a choice, it's a biological condition. I believe Men and Women's restrooms, despite their names, are facilities based on sex and not gender. The child in question is a male and therefore should be using the bathroom designated for males.

The school should just change all of their signs to say "Male" and "Female" instead of Men/Boys and Girls/Women
