A few days after the trayvon martin thing a white man around 20 was walking down the streets of philly when he was attacked by a group of black teenagers. A group of white teenagers who was near came to his defense, most of the black teens ran leaving one who got beaten by the white teens.
In the news and on websites I frequent the first part of the story, guy being attacked, most of the attackers taking off when help came, was omitted. The incident was described as a racially motivated attack on the heels of the treyvon martin incident.
A day later a white man about 30 was waiting for a subway when he was attacked by between 10 and 15 black teenagers. They beat him and robbed him, then jumped around spitting on him and shouting until subway security came and they ran.
This incident was described on many news networks, and defended on sites I frequent as "black kids who were upset by the 'killing of Treyvon martin' lashing out."
Not anywhere near isolated example either.
2008, Black Panthers stood in front of voting polling places around the country with nightsticks and baseball bats. They intimidated and threatened white voters who weren't wearing obama stickers/pins. Nothing happened to them.
2012, KKK members in alabama meet in front of voting polling place and intimidate democratic voters as they enter. The ones who were identified are currently in federal prison awaiting trial.
Those are just a couple examples. Were I to sit here posting every example I could think of not only would this post be tl/dr I would lose a few days out of my life.
Now a days it seems like when you're white it's racist, if you're black or mexican it's just right.
