Anybody else catch the fact that the current police superintendent in Chicago has been a burglary victim so many times he can't put the precise number to it? 3 or 4? Really? Really? You don't know how many times you were a burglary victim?

Some are reasonable to be omitted . I guess with car burglary like Car stereos you'll never get back but as for a car entirely that will more than likely be stripped for parts that you won't get back or cars being ditched that you wont find etc. Thats what I guess is why they aren't responding to those anymore. Lets face it, people call cops for attacking others ffs lol

A guy I knew in school tried to use some forged checks at a store a couple years back, when they called him on it he pulled out a gun (not legal) and tried to rob the place. The cops were responding to the call about the checks however and were able to stop him.

Lewd phone calls is a tricky one though.. That stuff really can be the sign of a real creep, but it's also something that's largely ignored by the police anyway so I don't see any difference.

Because the taxpayers foot the bill. If the city doesn't have money to hire more Officers, then no more Officers can be hired. Not to mention the cost of putting said Officers through the Academy process.

The only thing I would refuse is to be a victim. And that's not meaning that I wouldn't just hand over my wallet or checkbook.
