Shocker that Obama has been in office for the last four years and still doesn't understand inflation. You can raise the minimum wage all you want. That raise will be cancelled out by higher prices so those people will be back to where they were before the raise.

The price of living has gone up dramatically, minimum wage has not. More money to these guys means more money for them to spend on things so more business. Some prices will probably increase, but so will the amount of money going back into the hands of these businesses anyway.

Actually, no. Prices will rise. Those who are making more than the minimum wage, say $10+, will see no increase in pay. What they will see is an increase in cost of goods. This will actually hurt people more than help. Those getting an increase will not get extra money because the increase in prices will balance it out.

There will be no real increase in pay, but a decrease in disposable income. And considering the state the economy is still in, this will push more people into poverty.
