But it's true.
I'm sure ill he saying the same thing about the next generation 10 years from now. I'm still I'm HS btw, and I much prefer this generation to the 90s.
I'm born 1982, I'm an 90s kid but also like music from the 70s and 80s and also from the early 2000s. Some of the favourite songs of my parents are from the 90s, that means nostalgia doesn't play a big factor, it surely exists but not so much like some people think. That's like saying "you think Attitude Era was so great for you because of nostalgia" if that is the case many of us would miss also WWE 1995 New Generation Era.
There is and will be great stuff, Adele is a great artist and GTA V will sure put all other video games in history to shame but 95 percent of the stuff from the current generation sucks.
We have now the generation's best rapper who uses auto tune, a douche called Pitbull who is supposed to be a tough guy but sounds like he is anal raped in every track and collaborates with other douchebags the boygroups in the 90s would be ashamed to collaborate with them, other auto-tune "artists" who are judges on talent shows and decide who has talent (dafuq?), an artist where the bigger question is if she will wear a water melon or coconut as hat than what her next song will be, cartoons like Ben 10 with characters that scare the shit out of me as an adult, the whole talent and reality shows where everybody is famous, there is nothing special, magical anymore and other social media that turns everybody into a retard I posted already in the first post in this thread.
You can have a clash of generations if you compare Marylin Monroe and Pamela Anderson, N.W.A and Wu-Tang Clan, Sean Connery and Daniel Craig, New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys, the Exorcist and Friday the 13th or Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold but if it's something crap than it's crap no matter what generation and the current generation consists almost of crap.
Yes, in the 80s and the 90s existed also music with fake voices and computer but it had it's own genre called Techno or Electronic Dance. Today you have computer and fake voices in every pop, rock, R'n'B and hip hop track. 20 years ago Mili Vanili lost a Grammy because they weren't the real singers for the song, in this generation those 2 clowns T-Pain and Lil Wayne were nominated for a Grammy despite that on the track is 99 percent a computer speaking and were not ashamed to accept the nomination. It wouldn't be bad if this was a nomination for the best Techno track but it was for a Rap/Sung collaboration!
This is the best example for the current generation, we are shit and we don't even try it and we know it will be a success because the retards rule the world.
