This is just one of a string of videos of an Atlanta security guard that has gone viral. In this particular video, two women confront the security guard of a decrepit mall for supposedly yelling at their children. In addition to the insults by the women, he is further antagonized by the children, who throw out remarks such as "that's why you gay". The security guard eventually shoots the mother of the children with his taser gun after she throws punches.
Thoughts? Did she deserve to get tased? Should the officer have taken other initiatives to end the scenario? There's actually been a debate concerning the officer's tactics, and I've seen people bring the sexist argument that he shouldn't have tased her because "she's a female".
Re: Disorderly mother tased by Atlanta security guard
Oh man, that was funny as hell. Both sides were wrong, but the security guard had every right to stun her. You can't verbally and physically get in someone's face without expecting something to happen. Didn't we learn that lesson from the girl receiving the uppercut of a lifetime? I feel sorry for the kids though. So disrespectful, and they are just mocking those who care for them. Gotta love parenting..
