DEVELOPING -- Atlanta school officials confirm a shooting at Price Middle School in Georgia.
School officials say two people were wounded in the shooting. One of the victims was a 14-year-old, MyFoxAtlanta.com reports.
Police say they have two people in custody in connection with the shooting, according to MyFoxAtlanta.com.
The school was placed on lockdown and authorities say parents are not being allowed to pick up their children at this time. Price Middle School is located in southwest Atlanta.
Won't do anything, if you want to hurt somebody bad enough, a gun ban isn't gonna stop you. If they can't get a gun, they'll just start a fire, or bring knives, or get explosives, or lethal chemicals, etc.

Most school shootings end up with multiple deaths. Guns seem to be tool of choice. If a gun isn't so easily accessible the likely hood of this sort of thing would be lower, which is a start. Knives have the potential to harm but are less likely to result in as many human casualties. Starting a fire has damage potential, but it's a lot easier to out run a fire than a bullet. It's also a lot easier to shoot a gun than it is to start a fire. As far as explosives are concerned, you're less likely to act on impulsion as that would take a lot of planning. As opposed to the ease of acquiring a gun and bullets and merely aiming it at someone's head and pulling the trigger.
