The United States should have elected Brother Ron when they had the chance. They fell for Obama's good speeches and Romney's hair, though.
It doesn't matter who the president is. It never did.

Exactly. I find it funny how much power people often give the President when it comes to the economy. Sure the President has some influence, obviously, but there are many other forces in play that are much more powerful.

And although Ron Paul is spot on when it comes to foreign policy, the man is insane when it comes to the economy.

It doesn't matter because we'll have a more unified world government in the next 100-150 years.

Even so, it would be beneficial to have someone in office who actually saw these problems coming about a decade or so in advance (and still foresees major problems down the road) then someone who acts like everything is fine while giving Americans a false sense of security, all the while a big fiscal bomb is about to explode. Because of this, a lot of people are going to be left unprepared when it explodes.

If all else at least, a hypothetical President Paul would have been able to end (at least for the time being) America's terrible foreign policy and vetoed any bad spending bills, while trying to work with Congress (seeing as he doesn't believe in Executive Orders, unlike Barry) to cut spending. Would it work? I don't know, but at least we would have had someone in office who at least is trying to bring America back from the ledge; not someone who keeps shoving America FORWARD towards that ledge.

Remember when the head of the house could work a normal 9-to-5 job & support a family? Now both heads of the home have to work, sometimes more than one job each, and they still struggle...

Third world country

All those poor, third world citizens are watching their HD flatscreen TVs while using their smartphones and driving to job interviews in gas guzzling SUVs.

Yeah, they have it so hard.

Yeah I agree with that

From what I saw during my time in America, the majority of American's problems seem to come from spending money they dont have on things they dont need
