Felt sad when my childhood blockbuster closed down. Now it's an Ace Hardware.

hey blockbuster want to get more customers? don't force your paying customers to make accounts, just write down their name and number and there you go

figured they all had by now. mine closed like 7 years ago. i used to work there back in the day, back when they started the no late fee deal... guess that didn't boom like they wanted it too. was cool getting 5 free movies a week anyway.

I haven't been to a blockbuster in over 3 years. Use to go and rent out heaps. Now it's just download and watch on PS3

Had one less than 5 minutes drive away from my house, used to go with my dad & rent movies all the time. Now it's a 24 hour gym & a Subway store

I worked at Blockbuster for 2 years. It was great getting 5 free rentals a week and we even got to rent movies before the street date!

Currently a fan of: Daniel Bryan, The Shield, Damien Sandow, Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, Wade Barrett, Ryback, Eve, AJ Lee

Re: 300 Blockbuster stores closing, 3000 jobs may be lost

i know in my area blockbuster was way more expensive than any other place to rent, and their selection sucked, ya they would have 500 copies of a movie that just came out , but they wouldnt have like 50 other movies that came out 3 months earlier. i could go to the local mom and pop rent for a 5th the cost for more days and i could find what i wanted. Also a few yrs ago the guy who made red box tried to sell them that and one exec laughed at the idea, guess whose laughing now huh

dinner

these words are true, and i'll make you believe
