Someone's going to come in here and give the "Well, Evolution's just a theory" thing. So, in advance:
It isn't. It's observable, testable, verifiable, falsifiable fact.
Once you have the mechanism to explain the great variety of life on earth, you just need to explain those building blocks. That's where our work needs to be done. Abiogenesis and the like are the fields we really need to hit hard.
Creationism is not having all the answers, so you make up an answer that fits all those gaps. It's absurd.
