Default A giant leap for the better.

Hello everyone, my name is Joe. I have been struggling through life ever since I came to be. Dead end jobs the uncertainty of life and it's purpose, hard time with friends and family (Just can't ever fit in). The one thing that I have always loved and cherished and has kept my head up is pro-wrestling. The way those guys pour out their blood sweat and tears for us fans each and every week enthralls me! The perseverance, dedication, discipline, heart and character that these guys show is something that Keeps me pushing along for another beat off the old ticker! I am now 27 years of age and totally lost in this jungle. I have had multiple opportunities in jobs that most people would be content with for their entire life (30+ dollars an hour... I know I am crazy), problem is I got bored and just couldn't see myself doing what I was doing for the rest of my life. I need to get out there experience different things (I feel I have a bigger purpose then just mindlessly day in and day out doing the same thing for the rest of my life to achieve nothing other than retirement.). Now I sit here in complete and total assurance that what I want to do is follow my dream of becoming the best that I can be in the professional wrestling industry no matter what it takes to succeed. I have had very tough time though figuring out as where to start. I am willing to go to any lengths to do what it takes. I understand the risks, injuries, time away from home constantly on the road no time for my-self lifestyle. That is what I want to be, I want to succeed in the world of pro wrestling and I will. I just need some guidance and would give my life for such help. If anyone could please help me in making a giant leap into this business in helping me get started in ANY aspect I would be in debt to you greatly! I really appreciate any feedback/support. Feel free to ask ANY questions or contact me through P.M. Thank you so much.

That's a little old to be starting isn't it? Better late than never I guess.

I imagine the best place to start would be to get in great shape and look around for local wrestling schools.

Have you informed your closest family and friends about this? You should ensure that they're fully aware of what you're getting yourself into, and if they're okay with it (with fair justification of course).

Something going awry in the ring that ends you up in hospital after not telling anyone, or even after someone implored you not to, would probably be a hard bite in the ass.

I do see my age being a slight problem, but some superstars didn't even make it until their late 30's. Put your mind to it and you can achieve anything, right!? (Just need to find out where to start!) As far as schools go that is one of the problems I am having as there doesn't seem to be many "Good" schools around the Minnesota area. I know with the right training and schooling I see my Dream becoming a reality!

Look at Flair, he's still going. Barely, but he's still going. What I would suggest is to not pay any money to any school unless you are 100 percent certain this is what you wanna do and that the school is half decent. Well, if there aren't any schools around your area get up and go! Find somewhere that does have a good school. Good luck man.

I have not many friends or much family, but of the ones I do have close to me are aware and fully support me and my choices. I can tell you that the physical abuse and training is something that I am somewhat familiar with as I used to wrestle with a local group when I was younger.

Thanks! From the looks of it getting up and going is the only option I seem to have. Florida looks to be the state for some prime schools right now. Resources is where it gets scary. Especially seeing how Florida is quite the drive across the map! Does anyone know of somebody in the Florida area that could be of assistance to me in my search? (For any questions I may have about location, school, jobs in the area, etc...)

If there isn't any wrestling schools in your area, could you not move for it an see if they could help with relocating you?

I remember looking at schools and they do housing.

Or did I read that in Chris Jerichos book and assumed it when I did previously look in to.. Just ask though!

Just Google wrestling school and whayever the area you have in mind.
