Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?
I think that no US president has never been so impopular among the owners of weapons. Even if 2/3 of Americans consider his new measures against gun violence as "reasonable". His public oath ceremony will happen tommorow (The 21th of january). I personally had nightmares about it, especially after the last NRA video I saw on their website.
NRA President: Obama Violating His Oath as President & Trying to Build an ‘Imperial Presidency’ Quote:
NRA members from various states received two emails unofficialy asking them to go to Washington D.C on the 21th. It seems they are preparing one huge "March on Washington". Thousands of NRA members will attend Obama's oath. Even if District of Columbia prohibits both concealed and open carry, I think they will try to take their weapons with them ... Two questions : - What's your opinion about this explosive situation ? - Could Obama use one staged assassination attempt to ban all guns ? Let's debate rationally. |

Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?
the purpose of the 2nd amendment is more or less to preserve all the others
ironically, we've lost every single freedom without a fight, but kept the guns how ironic |
Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?
I just saw this question on twitter, it's trending :
Quote:
NRA and guns owners were stupid enough to dig their own graves with some hateful comments and death threats, like the video that Punk's #1 Fan posted. If Obama pulled that off, he could easily ban guns and dissolve NRA, everybody will welcome and accept it. |
Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?
people really overestimate obama
no, he will not abolish guns and then declare himself king but, people need to wake the fuck up and hold onto their freedom before its too late |

What rights stated in the Bill of Rights have been lost? Interested to hear what freedoms we have lost. |

:kobe Why there is a constant battle call for "we're losing our freedoms" and "tyranny" in America I don't understand. And I don't mean present day either. This is something that has always occurred and always been said since the dawn of the republic. Hell a damn civil war was fought over it. It's like a mutated gene in the American experience, to always be paranoid that being shipped off to a concentration camp and enslaved is just a day away. I don't get it. |
Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?
I'd be more afraid if I had to sit through the coming shit storm in person for 5 hours, damn bag of hot air

Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?
Freedom of speech gets infringed upon at times, but the bigger concern is the government overstepping its bounds. The privacy of the citizens thanks to the wire tapping of the previous administration which continues into the current one. The NDAA which again robs the citizens of their privacy, enabling them access to all your online information. Before the cops and government need good cause, now they just can just infringe your privacy and rights as they please.
And dont get me started on the patriot act and the others. Apparently the right to a trial goes straight out the window when the government comes for your sorry ass http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vid...o_protect.html |
Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?
No I'm not worried that somebody is going to kill him. We have an entire federal agency that's main purpose is to make sure the President is safe at all times. Also anyone that thinks rational would know that shooting Obama would be the worst thing they could possibly do in regards to stopping gun control.
As far mt opinion on the Second Amendment goes the Constitution makes it pretty clear to me. I don't really understand how any type of legislation that restricts the types of guns people can buy or in anyway limits what they can posses in regards t guns could be considered anything but Unconstitutional. |
