Okay, whether you like public schools or not they're the textbook definition of propaganda centers. Propaganda is defined as information from the government, official positions and beliefs by the government. Some would say it extends to corporations as well, since they act the same way in the sense of producing information that fits their interests. Because of the complaining about propaganda that was absolute LIES, the definition of propaganda has changed to many ppl to mean LIES from the government in particular, and so maybe it has actually changed altogether, I don't know. But the basic definition was always government information. So when the government coerces everyone not rich enough to go to private school to spend 40 hrs/wk, 9 months/yr, 13 yrs of your life, to go to one location to be told what the govt wants you to know (which is a huge propaganda issue when it comes to history and social studies), ITS PROPAGANDA. Not saying its therefore wrong. But it is propaganda. The word didn't use to have a negative connotation.

Obama is acting like the sane adult in the room. Everyone else thinks this is some black and white issue and won't even consider talking about guns. Period. The spirit of compromise that kept this country running for so many decades has stopped dead in it's track. I blame both parties but the Republicans are the main instigators. They will grind this country to a halt just to make a political point.

The only problem is that Obama is trying to pass new gun control laws, even though areas with less gun control have lower violence, and the areas with all-out gun BANS have the HIGHEST gun violence (Chicago and New York), so no, the NRA isn't instigating the problem. They are reacting to the problem. And as far as I'm concerned, the NRA are a bunch of pussies. Give me Gun Owners of America any day. As for the NRA's motivations, who cares?

It's a pretty sad society you live in if you need to carry guns on you in public. What do you think that's actually going to achieve? If someone wants to hurt you or rob you it won't be a deterent and if that other person has a gun you or he or someone innocent could end up dying. Is it worth it? For thousands of years before guns there was crime, it's human nature. Your not going to stop it. If you put less guns in society you'll have less chance of mentally ill people committing killings that seem to happen way to much in America which surprise surprise has guns everywhere. That's what Americans dont understand less guns means less killings. You do not need guns living in suburbia. Those like glass shatters come across as the typical trying to be a hard nut i carry guns look how tough I am, obnoxious American the rest of the world snickers and laughs at.
