Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?

Yes, Obama is going to stage his assassination and use that as an excuse to ban all guns. Then with those pesky pistols out of the way, he can finally declare himself czar of all the free world.

I find it rather interesting that he has people with guns surrounding his family to protect them but he has a problem with gun control amongst the general public.

Difference is training.

If any person owning a firearm had sufficient training/weeding out of mentally ill, then gun ownership will be a lot safer.

Its politics and religion, along with the fear mongering media in the US with the lack of respect and economic opportunities, which promotes an unstable society. But those things can never be legislated for - since the mentality has been too far spread.

Your opinions don't matter. I am right and everyone one not agreeing with me is a troll, or an idiot.

(Typical poster thought process)

It's like a mutated gene in the American experience, to always be paranoid that being shipped off to a concentration camp and enslaved is just a day away. I don't get it.
No, the mutation is statism. It doesn't occur at the DNA level though, it's the result of bad parenting and government propaganda centers, aka public schools. We're free and nonviolent at birth, and then bad parenting and government propaganda teach us that we need to be controlled and violence is moral when done by authority figures (parents, men in costumes calling themselves the government).

If you don't "get" why some people strive for freedom, it's because you've been programmed extremely well.

Obama dying wouldn't do a lot for me. The propaganda machine would certainly use it to push some kind of agenda, but they'll just get another sociopath fascist war criminal to take his place.

Press Play to wake up.

Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?

You really think a staged assassination attempt would be able to happen in America in this day and age?

Not always the case.

He could have the best trained people protecting him. One of those guys could go batshit crazy on him one day and shoot him.

Is it the gun's fault?

Would his death have anything to do with training?

Anyone can snap at any given moment and fire a gun. You don't even have to be mentally ill to do so. It's just a matter of being angry at the moment, shooting someone in a fit of rage, and then regretting the hell out of when you get back to your normal senses and realize what you did was wrong.

It is still not the gun's fault by any means. If that person didn't have a gun, they would use a baseball bat, a kitchen knife, their fists....you will use whatever you want when you are angry.

I think most gun cases, though, have to do with the mentally ill, rather than someone just having a bad day.

Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?

But the point is, the more trained, and the more you are looked at, the less chance it has of happening

if every guy in US has one, the chances of it happen incress FAR more then if those who go through training and have to REALLY work at it

He dont want evrey single joe who have been known to stab someone over football games, shoot someone becvuse they said they dont like a certing president or celebrity etc (exstream exsamples) the point being, more harder it is to get, the less psychos will have it

Do you know how hard it is to become the presidents bodyguard? if these guys so much as told a lie in their life they cant get in (Please tell me you can tell that's a metphor)

like you said, you will use what you can get, most of those who do the spree will most likely use something else, which wont be as effective

Re: Are you afraid for Obama's oath ?

You can still inflict some serious damage. You don't need a gun to kill someone.

It's just ironic that he puts his trust in people with guns but wants to put his foot down and the everyday joe having one because a few fucked up people decide they want to blow a school away.

Of the people who shot someone today, how many gun owners were responsible with their weapons? A far, far greater number of people carry and use their guns in a responsible manner. That is why guns are not the issue and fucked up people are.
