I would argue the exact opposite.

Re: Sarcasm a sign of intelligence?

I'm pretty sarcastic, the ironic thing is I have trouble catching sarcasm sometimes. But that's normally because people don't change the tone of their voice to be more sarcastic, so I assume their being serious. You feel me?

Re: Sarcasm a sign of intelligence?

There is a time and place for sarcasm.

A lot of people take pride in their sarcasm and wear it every waking moment. This makes them totally unbearable to be around because they want to correct everyone all of the time and prove that they are more smart than everyone they are around. In the end, they wind up looking like anti-social fucks because no one wants to be around them.

Re: Sarcasm a sign of intelligence?

I think in general it's true, though I'd say my reasons are a mix of intelligence and watching Chandler Bing when I was younger.

Yep. The only people who say otherwise are the ones getting their jimmies rustled by the sarcastic geniuses of the world.

Re: Sarcasm a sign of intelligence?

Let's not turn this into the South Park episode in which Stan's father hits a new level of sarcasm. Fucking epic show.

Re: Sarcasm a sign of intelligence?

Could be the reason why most Americans struggle to grasp sarcasm.

Cena is crap.

That would be irony, but don't worry about showing yourself up to be stupid while trying to make others look dumb, because we're all 100% certain that you've got an absolutely fucking massive brain.
