Homosexuality does NOT cause disease. Sexual acts without proper protection do. If my child committed suicide because he/she were homosexual I would look at the greater social context, which is the problem concerning the suicide rate among LGBTQ teens.

You find homophobia comparable to being a vegetarian or vegan? Just stop. LGBTQ people who hate heterosexual people don't hate heterosexual people because they are heterosexual.

Putting the guise of "opinion" on something does not disqualify it from being scrutinized. Additionally, opinions can be wrong.

Believing homosexuality is acceptable and believing it is wrong are two different doctrines of belief, with one harkening to the same principles of racism and other forms of bigotry which are inherently wrong.
