They did some great things and some bad things, just like any other religion, society or civilisation. No need to focus only on religions. People are thought on TV and school to hate religions. It's kinda stupid

Yeah but it was all done through the worship of dogma. Spreading ignorance is what Christianity and other religions like Islam have done throughout history. The good that supposedly Christianity has accomplished never happened because of Christianity but in spite of it. Famous people that have done good things and that were also Christian did them despite what their religion said. Christianity endorsed slavery but the Abolitionists fought it regardless.

I've seen gay people on nights out getting attacked by non-religious people who tend to just be little bastards who pick them 'cause they're easy targets.

They will recieve hate off people from all works of life, the people who dish out the hate are just cunts. Regardless of what they believe in, they're just cunts. If they are decent people they wouldn't use religion as an excuse, they're just scumbags full of hate and they would be regardless of who they worship.

This actually, cunts gonna cunt, I have super Christian friends that are fine with LGBT people, it's all the person in most cases. If they tell you otherwise it's complete bullshit. As an agnostic raised in a super Christian family, I have a father who's somewhat ok with it, and a mother who's fine with damn near anything as far as a person goes as long as they have a good heart. I was a little surprised at their reaction when I told them my best friend was Bi.
