Ok, I watched a bit of that and immediately had a hard time taking it seriously given the source, plus, the title speaks volumes. So ok, this guy is reading a document that was printed in 1961
that was never passed or inacted in any way (btw: The vid you sent is from half a year ago)

Alex jones.. regurgitating what he's regurgitated before. He's done this in the past. He started with all this after William Cooper got onto Clinton's nuts back in 1994 for signing into law the 10-year ban on Assault rifles and large capcity clips (a bill which has since then expired.. no anarchy ensued from it).
As for the bull about Troops killing citizens.. The majority of the troops do NOT support what we're doing. American troops are VERY patriotic, they love the people, and it's a HUGE no no in the constitution to use troops against the US. It's strictly forbidden for the US troops to work against US citizens. I know troops, I have a familly member in the army and they hate a lot of what's going on. Suicide rates are HIGH.. they do not like what they are doing..
P#1F. I respect your skepticism, but do consider your sources before posting them, and conduct your own research before taking something at face value. Alex Jones has proven numerous times to be talking out of his ass. He's also been predicting an Iran war for years, he's even gone so far as to say it was starting... "MEGA RED ALERT". Most of this is fear mongering, and creates unecessary paranoia. I'm skeptical about alot of things the Government does. There is one conspiracy I believe in , and one that's ben proven time and time again.. that is.. America needs an enemy,we need to fear something, and it's best if it's something abroad. There is documentation of people, presidents speaking about that, the need to have an enemy. In the 50s we were in a hay day. It had both positive and negative effects, it lead into the 60s.. people not caring about the establishment. I forget Bush's war advisor , but there's a documentary I read about him and his predecessors, including Cheney and Rumsfeld all being taught by Leo Strauss, the same man who taught that fear is power. (there's also a BBC documentary called "The Power of Nightmares" i'm sure you could find on Youtube). So, as long as there is a perceived threat.. the people will unite. I agree that there might be a conspiracy in generating a perceived foreign threat. I don't think Al Queda is as big as we are told, but terror attacks and them spreading remain. The domestic stuff I think is nonsense for the most part and that has been proven time and time again.
edit: For the record, i'm against the gun ban. It goes against the second amendment which shouldn't be tampered with, and I think it could potentially result in a Civil War. I'm afraid that the bill they passed in congress for Assault Rifles would lead to more weapons being removed in the future until the country is completely disarmed. Criminals will find ways to commit their crimes regardless of bans, but honest citizens are the ones that will be vulnerable.
