Well of course gun control advocates would make that joke. Simply by supporting gun control you're supporting violence. You're supporting the government initiating force against citizens to ensure they have the monopoly on a certain type of gun, and soon enough all guns. I mean, what happens when the citizens have the semi-automatics taken away and there isn't even a dent in the gun violence? This isn't hard to figure out, just think a little bit further ahead than "DEMAND A PLAN".

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Implementing a ban on semiautomatic weapons and the like will only pump millions of dollars into the black market. The same results occurred during the prohibition of alcohol, and are now occurring with the failed war on drugs campaign.

They aren't tackling the real issues at hand. Mental health and the lack of mental health facilities should be the topic of legislative debates. Concluding the counterproductive war on drugs campaign (which is ironically the source of most of the gun violence) and the legalization of drugs should be discussed.

Imagine the outrage if the NRA, Alex Jones, or any pro-gun American came out and said something along those lines to Piers Morgan or Diane Feinstein! They would be physically accosted!

Also, I know you're not saying this per se, but to the naive people out there: the government isn't taking weapons away so you can stop suggesting it. Anyone who thinks that they will have the power or authority to do so severely underestimates the fact that Americans aren't buying guns and ammunition at record rates to turn them in when asked.

Wow. An interview where Piers Morgan doesn't look like a dick, I never thought I'd see the day.

Morgan's obnoxious but Jones is a batshit wackjob. I can't stand to listen to either guy. Plus you'll always see related links on the side that kill any chance of Jones having credibility so that doesn't help.

No I agree they are both nutjobs, Jones just makes it so much more obvious.

They're both nut jobs. This was just another desperate attempt at ratings. Especially since Piers is capitalizing off of the attention he got from his anti-gun crusade.

Alex Jones may come off as mad or whatever. Doesn't make him any less right.
