Had a psychology teacher during my senior year and he was the coolest teacher I've ever had. Made lots of jokes, lots of dry humor. Used to mess with kids in class and play jokes on them. There used to be 2 girls in there that would always mess with him back and it made for hilarious class days. Once, one of the girls left her camera while she went to the bathroom and specifically told him not to touch it. This was in the middle of class no less. So she leaves and he immediately proceeds to take dozens of pictures with it.
Next door was the chorus/band rooms and every time they'd play he'd make a joke about it or open the door and yell into the hall telling them to shut up. Those two girls were almost always the last two to class so sometimes he'd keep peeking out the door to see if they were coming and then once they got close he'd close and lock the door and turn his back and pretend to speak to the class while they stood there yelling at him. This was just the tip of the iceberg. Greatest teacher ever.
Also had a teacher during both my junior and senior years (same guy) and while there were times he'd lay down the law, he was generally a great teacher. Lots of movies, little written work, tons of class discussions. That plus having a bunch of loud, outgoing class clowns made for great times.
I love teachers who make class fun. This being my first year out of school really makes me miss high school a ton for various reasons, but one of the main reasons being teachers like that. You really have an impact on kids lives for four years. Its a big reason why I'm considering becoming a school teacher myself.

Usually I agree but I had this one history teacher that was a total feminist. It was a world history class and I felt like she was teaching a HISTORY OF WOMEN class. There's a separate course for that shit, god damn.
She was also a socialist. Fuck her.
