Re: History,Do you like it?

I took History as a option for GCSE, I did actually find it pretty interesting but I got a bad mark because I didn't really put enough effort into it.

Re: History,Do you like it?

Massive history fanatic right here.

I absolutely adore it. The older the better. I signed up for every history course I could shoehorn into my schedule at university; Ancient Roman/Greek, Renaissance and Medieval art history, Classical warfare and architecture, the history of the witch trials and pagan persecution, history of the Indigenous Peoples of North America, Medieval music, the theatre of Ancient Greece, society in feudal Japan...as long as it's pre-Industrial Revolution, I'll probably love it. I've kept every textbook too, and yes, I have bookshelves full of those 'coffee table' history books you find on sale racks.

Re: History,Do you like it?

I find it so interesting but I'm not bery good at it when it comes to being an actual subject because that's where you learn about it the boring way.

Re: History,Do you like it?

I love History. It was my favourite subject at school. I found everything I learned in History class fascinating except the stuff on 16th Century Spanish economy, which was a bit meh. I probably would have enjoyed studying it at University but I opted for a Business degree instead.
