Has anybody ever tried to arrange a get together for the people on this forum? There are some people on here that have been using the forum for fucking years, and I just wondered if there had ever been any attempt to arrange a big social, where we can actually meet in person for a big piss-up. I've often wondered what some of the posters would be like in person (I imagine we're all fairly similar, in a way). I know that there are people from all over the world posting, so it wouldn't be easy to arrange, but they could do localized ones; a UK one, for example, wouldn't be too difficult.

Few months ago, attempted to get some Scots together for a meetup in Edinburgh.

Two people considered it, and then it got buried under a bunch of obscure news stories.

A lot of older members (2006 and before) will remember the UK Kliq. They knew each other outside the forum and hung out on the regular basis.

One jobber called himself inviting some people over to his Mania party earlier this year........lol.

I started on here in late 2006, so I missed that. I know that not everybody would be up for it but I'd probably go along, just out of curiosity.

Me and a handful of others have been talking about going to WM 30 together for a few years now... but yeah, I'm broke, the rest are drunks. Likely not gonna happen .

That...would not be a good idea in some cases. Although it would be interesting and fun in my view.

Only Dunk20 is from the same country as I am, so it's kinda pointless to even think about it anyway.
