Even within Lancashire, you'll find towns having different accents: Preston, Blackburn, Darwen, Langho, Clitheroe, Burnley, Accrington, Chorley etc. All towns in a county only slightly bigger than Delaware (your second smallest state) and all have very distinct accents. You get it all over England.
Yorkshire: Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Sheffield - different.
London: Cockney (east), posh (west) and all points inbetween.
NorthEast: Newcastle (Geordie), Sunderland (Mackem), Middlesbrough.
So many distinct accents it gets annoying even for an Englishman like me hahaha
